🐹 GROCERY SHOPPING 🐹
[aera: 06 years old]

aera giggles at her successful attempt of helping jin get some actually needed items than the boring vegetables and other stuff she didn't feel the need to take. taking out the capsicums and the pack of frozen pees, the six-year-old runs back with a box of chocolates and snacks.

jin doesn't realise the little helper also collecting her favorite fruits from the shelves near the vegetables, dumping all she could get in her timy arms into the cart. as a noise of something falling makes jin turn around, his brows scrunch up in confusion, catching aera crouched on the floor, picking up the oranges that she scattered on the around her feet and a few that rolled away from her.

"what are you doing, kiddo?"

"help," aera smiles at jin, standing up with an orange in either of her hands, placing them in the cart which jin follows and gasps, now realising that most of the things he had kept in are not there anymore.

"goodness..." jin sighs deeply, "you're helping me like this?"

"mm-hmm," the six-year-old nods, grabbing the handle of the cart now and pushes it forward, "i got chocolates for all oppas an-and chips, then we can havin' movie night,"

"okay, but why did you take the veggies out?" jin asks, taking some tomatoes, pees, carrots and capsicums again, keeping them back in the cart.

"because, we no' like veggies. veggies is yucky," aera scrunches up her face, making jin chuckle as he shakes his head, patting aera's hair.

"no, veggies are important for us, so we can grow strong. don't you wanna be strong?"

"mm, yes. but- but no veggies, jinnie oppa," she nibbles on her lower lip, letting go of the cart and raises up her arms, letting out a small yawn, "up..."

"ah, riri's tired after helping oppa?" jin laughs lightly, getting a nod from the little girl before he gives in and decides to carry her up to the car, telling the driver to get their bags.

🐹 SUPERHERO 🐹
[aera: 07 years old]

"wow..." aera gasps, staring at jin with shining eyes as he's busy teaching namjoon and jungkook something regarding the way he saw the youngest cooking. jin does it properly, placing the pan back on the stove after perfectly flipping the pancake and also correcting the texture of the batter jungkook had been using, saying that it was thick.

namjoon catches aera's eyes, smiling amusingly as he nudges the eldest with his elbow, nodding towards the young girl watching them. jin smiles as well, arching up a brow at her, breaking her out of the admiration bubble and return back to playing with her car.

later in the evening jin finds aera watching him again when he was busy explaining one of the finance related stuff to jimin with a fairly serious environment as the younger boys were up doing an assignment of jungkook's school, hoseok and namjoon were watching a k-drama inside and it was just jin, yoongi and jimin here wrapping up their work. which is when aera approached them and surprised jin with a hug.

"hey, what's up?" jin asks, patting the girl's back.

aera shakes her, sitting on her lap and kisses his cheek, "i think you're a super hero, jinnie oppa,"

"what?" the boys laugh at her words, "how come?"

"uhm because jinnie oppa is so good at eveything. he knows everyyyyyyything! and all the oppas listen to jinnie oppa. i think he's a super hero,"

"well, she's not wrong," jimin smiles, followed by a nod from yoongi.

"aw, you're the cutest little baby," jin laughs, kissing aera's cheek as well.

"and you're cutest oppa!"

🐹 SAVIOUR 🐹
[aera: 06 years old]

"oppaaaa!" aera whines, running away from jungkook after she accidentally kicked the glass of water kept on the floor, spilling the liquid all over jungkook's ipad for he had left it on the carpet for some reason. now the boy chased the young girl all around the house, scaring the life out of her at the thought of how she might get hit by him.

"stop running on the stairs!" jimin's voice is heard followed by some frowning, confused gazes from the elders as aera enters the living room first, then jungkook storms in after her.

"oppa—"

"got you!" jungkook catches her by her t-shirt, yanking the fabric back which makes aera stop on her tract, breaking into an instant cry of fear.

"let go of her, jungkook," jin sighs while jimin shakes his head, giving up on dealing with his younger siblings' constant bickering.

"no, hyung! she spilled water on my ipad!" jungkook complains.

"alright, we'll talk about that. let her go first,"

"no," he huffs, "i'm gonna deal with this myself,"

aera cries louder, hitting his hand to get herself free which eventually earns her a smack from jungkook as well. jin glares at the boy, bringing aera in his embrace and shakes his head when she sticks to him instantly, raising up her arms for him to carry her. jin crouches down instead, wrapping his arms around her small figure, then speaks, "it's okay, he's not doing anything, hm?" he kisses the side of her head, rubbing her back gently.

"she ruined my—"

"no, oppa. it was by mistake... i promise," aera pouts, "i was going to koo, but- but there's water and ipad on the floor. then it spilled on the ipad... i didn't wan' to do that,"

"it's okay," jin says, "just say sorry to kookie. he won't be mad,"

aera peeks at her brother's face, who mutters something under his breath glaring at her, making her shudder in jin's embrace, hugging him tightly. jin looks at jungkook, "it's okay, kook. she said it was a mistake. don't be like that, she's your little sister, buddy,"

"but my ipad..."

"you should've kept it at a safer place than on the floor," jin sighs, "but anyway, let's not blame aera for the accident, okay? you should be responsible with your things too,"

jungkook heaves out a breath, glancing at his feet as he nods his head, "i'm sorry,"

jin nods with a smile, and pats aera's back, "now riri's turn. say sorry to him,"

"sorry koo," aera mumbles.

"yeah," jungkook mutters, heading back to his room with his shoulders shrunk with disappointment until yoongi's voice fills in to cheer him up.

"you can take mine for now. i'll get you another one later,"

"yes! thank you yoongi hyung!" jungkook rushes to yoongi with a hug, while jin chuckles at them, carrying aera in his arms and wipes the tears from her cheeks, asking if she wanted to eat something.

🐹 BEAUTY 🐹
[aera: 04 years old]

"no, oppa. you say riri is pwetty baby,"

"riri's the prettiest baby. happy now?"

aera giggles, nodding her head as hugs hoseok thankfully and pecks his lips in appreciation before carrying on further with what she's taught. "now you say chinnie oppa is pwetty— so pwetty oppa,"

"okay, so he's the one who taught you all this?" hoseok sighs deeply, glancing at namjoon beside him who bursts out laughing at aera's words.

"say it, hobi oppa," aera cups his face, making him face her and waits for him to repeat what she wants to hear.

"why?"

"because chinnie oppa so pwetty, say it," she frowns.

"no, hobi oppa's pretty," hoseok plays for a bit, doing a cute pose for aera which doesn't impress her as she presses on jin's beauty more. namjoon laughs again, patting aera's head whereas hoseok looks a bit embarrassed.  "okay fine, jinnie is pretty,"

"yesh," aera claps her hand, slipping down from his lap and runs inside to the roon where jin is sitting with taehyung and jimin, playing uno with the two. "chinnie oppa! hobi oppa said you so pwetty and riri so pwetty!" she giggles, climbing on his lap and jin gives her a proud smile.

"good job, we're the prettiest indeed," he chuckles, "now one more to go, then they all will agree with us,"

"yesh," aera nods, glancing at the mirror and gasps, "we so b'yootiful,"

"of course," jin smiles.

"you're just obsessed with yourself," taehyung mutters, quickly pulling out a card as it's his turn, while jimin laughs at him, seeing that he accidentally pulled out the wrong card.

"no, we're beautiful and we deserve compliments,"

"you're literally sending this four-year-old to everyone in the house and making us say that you're pretty," taehyung exasperates.

"yeah, so say it. it's not that hard," jin scoffs, "right aera?"

"yesh," aera huffs as well, smacking taehyung's arm, "you don't know nothing, taetae— so silly. riri and chinnie oppa is pwetty," jimin laughs at taehyung and jin smirks in victory.
