Small laughs and giggles filled the air between the sound of water flowing from the fountain around which the little girl ran her daily circles with Charley chasing after her. Her head turned back, glancing at the dog and breaking into a fit of laughter when he caught the edge of her dress, finally making her stop. He left the fabric almost instantly, letting out a playful bark as he waggled his tail before going in and licking Aera's hand while she tried to pet his head.

"Once more?" She voiced, "I'll go from there and Charley, you will come from there, okay?"

The dog barked, either he understood or not, he did respond her with a bark. Aera nodded and counted till three before dashing to the other side of the garden. With a faint smile, Nelson ordered Charley to go from other side as the girl wanted. The dog ran in the said direction, although it didn't take him long to catch up with the ten year-old.

"Charley!" Aera called and took the leash her bodyguard gave her to secure around the dog's neck. Charley barked and stopped in front of her, sitting as he was told to and waited for Aera to attach the leash to his collar.

"The weather's nice, I'll stay here for a while." She told Nelson.

"Miss, its time for you to go in." He said.

"I'll go in fifteen minutes" She stated and sat down beside Cherley, looking a bit smaller against his big furry coat and body.

He shook his head using his paw to get rid of a butterfly, making Aera leap in quickly to catch it. Charley remained unbugged, letting the kid play with the weird-ish insect. She had almost caught the orange butterfly. Almost, because right when she was about to hold its wings, Charley had barked, scaring the life out of her. She turned around with a frown to look what made the dog bark out of nowhere.

"What?" She said standing up and going near the dog where he stood staring at the flowery bushes and continued barking.

"What happened Miss?" Nelson asked.

"I don't know" She shrugged, "He's barking for no reason."

Nelson glanced at the dog and then near the bushes, sending a quick alerting message to the others. He told Aera to go in with Charley as it was already past the time she should stay out. The girl sighed and nodded, pulling the dog with her back towards the front of the Mansion.

"Hello baby" She heard right when she was about to walk up to her room.

"Oppa?" She gasped and turned around to see Jimin standing near the kitchen. He smiled at her and opened his arms, gesturing her to come and give him a welcome-home hug.

Aera ran towards him, quickly hugging his waist as she buried her face in the fabric of his shirt. Jimin patted her head, leaning down and pressing his lips gently on top of her head. However his smile slowly turned into a chuckle on realizing that Aera was actually crying. Her smalls sniffs and murmurs made the boys melt in their places.

"My baby missed Oppa that much?" Jimin said, rubbing her back.

"you took so long..." she mumbled breaking into a sob again.

"Aw I'm so sorry princess, please don't cry." He said, "y'know I like it more when you smile."

Aera looked up at him, still not letting go from the hug and smiled through her teary eyes and wet cheeks. Jimin smiled and wiped her tears off, "Now this looks better."

"I missed you Oppa"

"Oppa missed you more" He said, remembering how long the whole month felt without Aera being around him. The boys had gotten an urgent work and Jimin was supposed to be there along with Yoongi, Hoseok and Namjoon. Aera wasn't allowed to call them unless it was one of the boys who was making the call. Things were pretty hard for both Aera and the boys.

"Appa" She giggled and hugged Yoongi, making him smile at the name she just used to call him. He kissed the side of her head, hugging her back as he patted her back fondly.

Aera sat with them, telling how fun her new school was and what all she did there in her first week there. This was the part they weren't very comfortable with. Yoongi still wasn't sure with the idea of letting her 'go' to school. Aera had managed to convince the rest of the boys telling them that she wants to make friends as well and go out like other kids. They knew it was important for her to go out and make friends and all, but the kind of life they have, was making it hard to be sure of.

Jungkook and Taehyung had checked every little detail about everything that has even the slightest connection with Aera going to school. Jin made sure to look at everything and be in charge since Jimin and Yoongi weren't available when all the things were going on.

The sudden wish to go to school started when Aera watched a number kids walking of a school, wearing their uniforms and gossiping with their friends. It was her 'go out' day, which occured only twice a month. Mostly Jungkook was the one to take her out for a drive on the 'go out' days and buy her ice cream and stuff. In short, letting her enjoy the day.

Since her tenth birthday was nearing, Aera kept the wish saved in her head, just to bring it up at the time she was about to blow out the candles on her cake. The boys were confused at first, hearing such a wish from her. They tried to talk to her make her believe that homeschooling was better. But she didn't listen. Jin was the first one to give in, realizing tha they cannot keep Aera hidden from the world all her life.

Jungkook, Taehyung, Hoseok and Namjoon agreed eventually. But the greatest problem was with Jimin and Yoongi. They weren't ready to take such a deadly risk with the ten year-old girl. Yoongi had straight away said no and refused to even talk about it. Aera struggled a lot to get them both in favour of sending her to school. The boys had a dead ass serious discussion about the matter, Jin, Jungkook and Taehyung from home and Jimin, Yoongi, Namjoon and Hoseok from Tokyo where they had to go due to work.

After a three hour long video calling session, Jimin sighed and agreed. Yoongi had no other option than to give in as well. What scared them was that they weren't even in Seoul to handle the situation if something goes wrong, it was just Jin alone with the two youngest boys.

"I will sit there" Aera perked up, pointing at the chair next to Jimin where Jungkook had seated himself before her.

"I came here first." He said, sticking his tongue out at her.

"I saw it first!" The kid retorted, pulling his arm to make him stand up, "I'll sit with my oppa."

"Excuse me? He's my brother as well. I will sit here." Jungkook said playing along, earning a small chuckles from his hyungs. Aera pouted and looked at Jimin, pointing at the younger brother.

"Jungkook-ah, stop messing with her, come here and sit at your place." Jin spoke before Jimin did.

"Nope" Jungkook said, earning a loud whine from his sister, "Okay fine, how about this?" He said after pulling her to sit on his lap. "We're both next our brother now."

"No, I wanna sit alone" Aera said.

"I see, you already forgot Kookie now that Jiminie is here. Alright alright, no problem." He said sadly, "But remember I'm the one who takes you out."

"Koo" Aera mumbled looking at him, as she stood up. "You can sit here. I'll sit somewhere else."

Jimin laughed and smacked Jungkook's arm, "Stop joking like that. She thinks you're serious."

"Because I am serious" Jungkook said holding his laughter in.

"God! Look at her." Hoseok chirped, making the heads turn to look at Aera having a small pout on her tinted lips while she stared at Jungkook with an intensely confused gaze.

"Aish! Okay fine, I was just joking. Come." The youngest boy said before standing up. He ruffled her hair, walking to the empty chair between Jin and Yoongi.

The dinner time seemed fun after a long month. The boys occasionally brought up one or the conversation engaging Aera in talking as they missed her continuous chattering with them. They quietened for a moment on hearing Charley bark while staring outside the window, for they knew a well trained guarding GSD won't bark for no reason.

Jimin told the whining Aera to go and sleep first, because they still had a few things to discuss.

"C'mon Charley, let's go" Aera mumbled, tugging on the dog's collar to pull him upstairs with her. She wanted to sleep with Jimin tonight after a long time that he wasn't here. But he said he had an important call and he'll join after attending that.

"work or me?" She wanted to ask, but didn't say anything and went to her room lying down on her bed while Charley sat on the floor, placing his head near her on the edge of the bed. On noticing that the girl was sad, he leaned forward nuzzling his face against Aera's and licking her until she was smiling.

"Your name should be smiley not Charley." She said hugging the dog, but soon letting go when his body stiffened and he barked loudly going near the window. Aera frowned and stood up, this time she heard something as well.

Hoping for it to be a small kitty as they show in TV, she stepped forward smiling a little. However the window opened even before she touched it, her body flinched due the loud noise, involuntarily taking a few steps back. Charley pounced at the man who just barged in from the window, wearing all black and holding something like a gun. Another man joined him in a second and grasped Aera's arm as was trying to run to the door. She threw a few things at them, but it didn't quiver them even a bit.

"Oppa!" She shouted for help.

"Shut up!" The man growled, pushing her to the wall, making her body slam against the hard wall. Tears formed in her eyes, wincing on hitting her head too hard.

Meanwhile Charley was doing a pretty remarkable job at keeping the men away from Aera as he stood in front of her in a protective manner, growling at them. The two exchanged glances and stepped forward, ignoring the agressive bites from the dog on their thick layer of jacket. One of them momentarily shot two small needles near Charley's neck which worked in a few seconds and had the dog laying on the floor unconsciously.

With a faint groan and an absolutely throbbing pain in the head, Jimin slowly blinked a few times gaining back his senses. His hand moved to his head as he cursed under his breath and sat straight looking around. Realization hit him hard. So hard, that he almost tripped while rushing upstairs.

"Aera?" He called, pushing the door open and seeing the mess there. "Damn it!" He cursed loudly, kicking the vase near his foot harshly.

In a few minutes all the boys were standing at the doorway, watching the inconvenient state of the room and Jimin's disheveled behavior.

"Whe- Where's Aera?" Jungkook asked in a hushed voice, praying for a positive reply although his eyes were fixed on the Charley's body lying on the floor. Jimin glanced at him, stopping for a moment as he ran his hand through his hair.

"She's gone! They took her and fuck! we... we couldn't do anything" The older trailed off at the end, gritting his teeth as he stared at his feet.

Jungkook frowned at his brother's words, slowly shaking his head not wanting to believe that, "she must be here...some- somewhere in the-"

"Jungkook," Jimin called his name, grabbing the younger by his shoulders as he stared right into his eyes with a look that said, 'This is not funny, its all real.'

Jungkook lowered his head, feeling weak against the tears in his eyes and his brother's blurred face. Jin stepped ahead, placing his hand on the boy's shoulder, giving an assuring squeeze, "Don't worry, we'll find Aera and get her back all fine."

Jungkook nodded and looked at Jimin, "please hyung"

Jimin patted the boy's head, nodding determined to bring their sister back. He couldn't afford to break that trust in his brother's eyes as if he knew Jimin would do something and bring Aera back and they'll be happy again. He would probably prefer dying rather than breaking this trust of his siblings.

Exchanging quick glances with Yoongi and the other members, they marched out of the room ready to get into action.

By the time it was evening, Jungkook and Taehyung were told not to do anything stupid that might cause problem for the boys or maybe for Aera. They all searched over the web, contact and have their men digging in for some information. Hoseok and Namjoon were busy with their technical stuff as they tried to trace every possible mark up according to them. Meanwhile, Jimin, Yoongi and Jin were out the whole day in order to check that everything was going in an expected fast pace and nobody's slacking off. This was serious indeed.

Charley was taken to the hospital soon enough. The Vet told them it was some kind of rare and expensive drug that was used on the dog to make him unconscious and paralyze him. He was overdosed with the drug most possibly being the reason why he couldn't fight back.

"Jeon Aera" said a deep voice, "finally, we have something against those bastards." He laughed, making the girl flinch as she felt a hand grabbing her face harshly.

"Let's see if Jimin can come and save you, I've heard he loves you lot, is it true?" He said mockingly.

"Mmmh" Aera groaned pulling her head head and trying to kick her legs which didn't have much affect as they were tied.

She heard the man clicking his tongue, and grabbed her ankle, "No child, don't do all that. Even though I won't hesitate hurting you, I really don't wanna use any violence right now. Its just your first day here."

Maybe Aera thought he wouldn't hit a kid, because she didn't take him very seriously and kicked her legs harder this time while trying to shout against the tight cloth tied on her mouth.

"I said stop!" He yelled and slapped her, making her body stumble to her side and fall on the floor.

The tears that spilled out from her eyes couldn't make it to her cheeks, as they were instantly absorbed by the rough peice of cloth on her eyes. She sobbed silently, folding her legs close to her upper body, scared that the man might hit her again.

"I've warned you, don't even think of doing anything stupid. I'm not the kind of guy you wanna mess with." She heard his voice, followed by fading footsteps and the sound of the door being closed.
