"it's a baby!" aera squeals, running inside the house with her new little friend which she found too adorable to ignore. her eyes gleam in excitement and feet stop eventually, hearing a loud thunder between the pattering rain which also explains on looking down at aera's feet, the messy rubber boots leaving their imprints on the floor. it doesn't bother the child though.

she continues making her way to the living room, holding her friend close to herself and the other one in the pocket of her raincoat, "oppa! look i have something!" her voice calls, peeking inside the room where the boys are all busy watching a movie together, none of them worried about the thunder outside and their princess covered half in mud and half in water, messing around the house.

jin looks over at her, smiling first then gasps loudly, springing up on his feet, "oh my god! what are you doing?!" he freaks out, "aera i told you to tell me when you're done playing in the puddle, didn't i?"

"oh god," jimin gasps as well, walking towards aera and looks at the hallway behind her till the front door where drops of muddy water and little footprints are made. "what have you done kiddo?"

"oppa look, it's a baby frog!" aera giggles, holding out the small frog in her hand and with with her free hand she fishes out a worm from her pocket, "and it's wormy!"

"jesus christ what the heck?!" jin freaks out, stepping away from the child, now grabbing attention from the rest of the boys as jungkook groans, standing up and switches off the t.v..  they stare at jin who looks as if saw a ghost, maintaining as much distance as possible from the six-year-old aera.

"what ha— woah!" taehyung gasps, "gosh! aera you're making a mess princess,"

aera ignores his words, smiling mischievously once she's figured that jin is scared of her new friends, giving her a good reason to enter the room and make his fear go away. "jinnie oppa, don't be scared, it's a baby," she says, approaching him with the frog and the worm, standing in front of him and kisses the frog's head, while holding the worm from one end, making it squirm in the air, trying it's best to get free from the dangerous little human.

"yah! don't kiss it!" the elder boys cringe, shouting together with a weird face.

"ew! aera put it away please!" hoseok shrieks, hiding behind jin and aera giggles, going to him, making both jin and hoseok scream in fear as they stumble backwards, away from aera. "throw it away! ahhh!"

"why are you scared oppa? it's so cute, look," aera takes another step forward and the two boys sprint this time, making the kid laugh as she starts liking the game now and chases after the elders, laughing when they would scream in fear, yelling her to get away.

"damn..." jungkook breathes out, covering his mouth as he nudges taheyung, "i bet we would be thrown out of the house if we did that,"

"i know right?" taehyung nods while the rest look too shocked to even react to the commotion going on in front of them.

after a few more minutes, the three people playing tag get tired, hoseok stops first, climbing on the couch and jin stands behind the couch, both catching their breaths while aera jogs a little more just to end up stumbling at the foot of the coffee table. the boys gasp when she falls down, but hoseok screams seeing the frog and the worm flying straight towards him on being released from aera's tiny grasp. 

"ahhhh!" hoseok moves back, his hands moving frantically to get the amphibian away despite he feels himself, lowering backwards too much and ends up landing on jin, eliciting a groan from both their mouths.

"oh god!" the boys gasp while hoseok is still screaming and wriggling in attempt to remove aera's baby frog and wormy if it was by any chance on him.

"okay we need to get this under control," yoongi takes the lead, breathing deeply and motions his hand towards aera, "kook, tae, take her to the bathroom right now. no touching anything on the way."

"yes sir!" the boys nod firmly and bend down near the young girl. jungkook grabs her hands and taehyung holds the feet, lifting her up like that and make their way to the nearest bathroom.

"jimin, joon, help these two,"

jimin and namjoon nod together, rolling up their sleeves as namjoon goes first and helps hoseok up, beginning to consolidate him that there's no frog or worm on him while jimin does the same to jin, helping him dust off his clothes to assure that there's no creature hiding in it.

"it must be somewhere!" hoseok cringes, almost in a crying tone and turns to yoongi, "hyung, you have to save us! find that frog and that worm or i'm not living this house anymore!"

"i agree with hobi!" jin announces as they both keep sticking to each other, "there's no way i can live here knowing that there's a frog and a worm moving freely around me!"

"calm do—"

"no, you listen to me yoongs! i am the hyung and what i say will happen! so you guys better start finding those dangerous creatures and get them out of the house!"

"wai—"

"yoongi hyung, please... jin hyung is right! i can't risk my life here!" hoseok pleads.

"yah! listen to me! calm your asses down and stop interrupting me when i'm speaking!" yoongi shouts, making the two flinch and stand quietly, getting a firm nod from yoongi, "good, now listen. we'll find the frog and the worm. it's not gonna eat you or anything, relax."

"are you sure...?" hoseok looks up from the floor with a cautious gaze and yoongi rolls his eyes, turning to jimin and namjoon.

"you guys please start looking or these two won't sit peaceful and won't let anyone else sit peacefully,"

"what were you doing?" jungkook asks as he passes aera's dirty clothes to taehyung who's sitting on the toilet seat and aims them at the laundry basket while jungkook is filling the bathtub and making aera settle in it instead of making a mess in the bathroom as well.

"i was playing in the puddle, then mr. frog came with his cute little baby and i picked him up to show you and all oppas. then i saw wormy doing wiggle-wiggle then i picked him too—"

"to show us?" taehyung laughs as aera nods in answer, smiling at the boys, "you're amazing, i wouldn't dare doing that ever in my life."

"me too," jungkook gulps in fear, "you just wait riri, hyung's gonna punish you pretty bad this time."

"yeah but anyway, did you see hobi hyung's face when he was running?" taehyung snorts, imitating hoseok's facial expression from the moment, making the younger siblings laugh.

"and jin hyung too!" jungkook adds, hitting the edge of the tub as he laughs too hard such that tears come from his eyes, falling back on the floor.

"god! yes— and when they both fell down!" taehyung laughs, throwing his head back.

"oppa," shakes taehyung's hand pointing at the faucet, she says, "turn it off,"

"ah yeah," he nods slowly, wiping his tears and turns the faucet off, then an idea strikes his head and he looks over to jungkook who has calmed down from his laughter attack too and is crouching near the tub, lining the yellow duckies for his sister. "kook, why don't you take a bath too?" he smirks, kicking the boy with no warning and laughs when jungkook fell inside the tub, and gasps loudly, raising his head above water.

aera cackles playfully, splashing out the water at taehyung who laughs as well, standing up as he takes the shower handle, sprinkles the water on the siblings.

"hyung!" jungkook groans, standing up with a glare at taehyung, but ends up slipping and falls down again, groaning louder this time as he bumps his head on the edge and accidentally lands above aera, making her duck under water, wriggling in panic when she meets no air to breathe.

it doesn't take long for taehyung to realise their game is heading in the wrong direction and pulls jungkook up, then instantly, carrying aera out of the water which makes her wail loudly, coughing and tears flowing from her eyes.

"hey, shh nothing happened," taehyung, pats her back, helping her cough out any water that she might have accidentally taken in. "riri's a strong girl, everything's okay,"

jungkook sits in the water still, touching his forehead where he feels a bump now and sighs, "i'm okay... not like you asked me or cared... but i'm okay,"

"sorry kook," taehyung laughs nervously, "now if you're okay, get up and help me. she doesn't stop crying. it'll be a problem if the hyungs come here right now!"

"shit!" jungkook gasps, "i'll get changed, you dry her i'm coming in ten minutes."

"yeah cool," taehyung agrees with the plan, taking aera with him and wraps her in her towel, heading back to the room which belongs to both jungkook and aera. he makes her stand on the bed and starts wiping her body while the girl still keeps coughing and sobbing, rubbing her eyes to get rid of the tears.

"hey don'r cry, aera. tell me what's wrong?"

"i' scared..." she cries, stepping towards taehyung and opens her arms for a hug, "hold riri..."

"you want me to hold you?" he asks and aera nods slowly, "alright, c'mere," he says, wrapping his arms around her small body and kisses her cheek. "let's get riri dressed okay? the  we can go see the baby frog and wormy. you wanna see them don't you?"

"yeah," aera nods, rubbing her eyes as she stops crying now and looks at him, "they're riri's friends..."

"really? well, they were cute for sure." taheyung engages her in a conversation, successfully drying off the water from her body and lets her jump down from the bed, "now go and get your favorite clothes,"

"my favourite?"

"yeah, why not?" the boy smiles and aera nods, pulling her dresser drawer open and picks out a denim shorts and a strawberry t-shirt, showing it to taehyung. "that's pretty, come,"

aera hands the clothes to taehyung and lets him dress her up. jungkook joins them soon, standing in a different pair of clothing and drying his hair with the towel. "wow, ri i like your clothes," he points out, making aera smile as she nods, glancing down at her t-shirt while lifting her one leg up and puts it down as taehyung slides up the shorts and buttons it on her waist, patting her side in satisfaction once she's ready.

"you like baby frog and wormy?" aera asks, watching the boys while taehyung is combing her hair and jungkook is doing his.

"well, i have no problem with them," jungkook shrugs, "pets are cool."

"not pet! friend!"

"oh yeah, i mean a friend that is a frog and a worm, right," jungkook sighs.

"but riri, tell me one thing, you didn't feel scared holding the frog or the worm?" taehyung asks, sighing when aera shakes her head, giving him a proud smile. "alright let's go downstairs, everyone must be waiting,"

jungkook has combed his hair down, the bags covering up the bump on his forehead which he got during their little play. as they head downstairs, a bunch of voices are heard, mixed with each other which makes it sound barely understandable. but they can tell it's jimin and namjoon saying something, hoseok screaming and jin occasionally yelling as well. only yoongi seems calm.

"hey— what's going on here?" the younger boys frown at the weird position they caught the elders in. jimin is on the floor, his right arm disappeared under the couch till his very shoulder and namjoon almost laying on top of him as he's reaching under the couch too, but closer to jimin's legs.

"they're trying to catch that frog and worm!" hoseok lets out in horror, "you kids come here, what if hurts you?!"

"it won't hurt anyone, hyung, relax," jungkook says, rolling up the sleeves of his hoodie as he crouches down near the table and starts searching for the animals too.

"wormy!" aera gasps, pointing near the glass door, which leads to the backyard and runs to her friend, picking it up at once and hugs the tiny creature. "aw i missed you too wormy,"

"yah! don't touch it!" jimin shrugs namjoon from him and stands up, heading towards aera and slides the door open, shaking her hand outside, earning a whine of disapproval from the girl. "you've created a lot of trouble today, this is so bad aera. and if you're thinking that you can get away with this, then you're so wrong."

"noooo! you're bad! why did throw away wormy? he's my friend!"

"quiet," jimin states firmly, making the child pout at the scolding and tears pool her eyes, turning to yoongi instantly who shakes his head as well, letting her know that her behaviour today is not appreciated at all.

aera rubs her eyes, moving away quietly and looks around, "where's baby frog..?"

"we're finding it, then you'll take it back and leave it outside." jimin says.

"no, i wan' keep baby frog,"

"we don't keep frogs inside the house, kiddo."

"found it!" taehyung chimes and approaches jin slowly, "hyung stay still,"

"what?" jin stares at him dumbfounded until he realises that the frog is apparently on him, which makes him scream and jump and run, hads roaming wildly over his clothes, making taehyung hiss in annoyance when he sees the little frog falling down on the floor.

"hey hey stop! you'll step on it hyung!" jungkook shrieks, leaping forward quickly and catches frog between his palms, giving the hyungs a victorious smile, "look i got it! aera, it's your baby frog!"

"my baby!" aera claps her hands she crouches down next to jungkook who slowly opens his hands, holding the small animal with his fingers gently not to hurt it. the sister smiles happily, taking the frog, but jungkook pulls it back when he realises aera's going to kiss it again. the girl doesn't mind and stands up with jungkook, hugging the frog along with her brother's hand and pets it gently.

"i missed you baby frog, are you okay? did my oppas scared you?"

"we scared it?" jin and hoseok exasperate in disbelief while taehyung and jungkook snicker, "it scared the life out of us! i was about to die!" jin exclaims.

"no, you scared my baby frog. he was being good, you started running and shouting. that is bad habit oppa, you're bad boy." aera takes the frog from jungkook and shows it to namjoon, "see, he looks sad."

"leave it outside," namjoon says and aera shakes her head, "c'mon aera, we don't keep frogs at home."

"but it's my friend!"

"leave it outside," jimin voices out sternly as he pulls her towards the open door and nods for her to leave the little animal.

"no..." aera mumbles, staring at her frog with a pout, "oppa it's so cute... we should keep it,"

"don't make me repeat it," jimin scolds.

"hyung wait," jungkook approaches aera, wrapping his arm around the sister and looks at the frog in her hand, "hey, ri you told me that you saw baby frog with his daddy right?"

aera hums with a nod, making jungkook smile softly, "don't you think he must be missing his daddy then? his family? that's why he might be sad," the girl gasps, looking up at jungkook who nods and continues, "we should let it go riri, how will you feel if someone takes you away from us?"

"bad! nooo!" aera hugs jungkook and he pats her back.

"that's jow baby frog is feeling lonely— being away from his daddy, mamma and siblings. let's leave it outside, so he can go home okay?"

"...okay," aera nods, crouching down near the door and bends forward, placing the frog on the grassy ground where the rain is still pouring. the baby frog hops away from them, going to a corner near the plants in the garden, where a big frog is waiting for him. "daddy frog!" the girl gasps, waving at the big frog, "i'm sorry to takin— your baby away, please don't be mad,"

"good job," jungkook grins, hugging aera and pecks her lips.

"now ge up," jimin says, "and aera, stand in the corner holding your ears."

"noooo!" aera whines, giving him the puppy eyes and a pout, which honestly doesn't work today.

"get up," the elder says firmly, making aera break into a sob as her tiny fists rub her eyes, heading to the punishment corner near the stairs. jimin watches her with a stern gaze, showing no emotions until she's staring at her feet, holding her ears and tears streaming down her cheeks.

"call the staff to start cleaning," yoongi sighs, "it's a lot of mess..."

jimin nods, then turns to jungkook noticing the weird style of his hair which is also when he notices that his hair is wet, "kook, c'mere,"

"hm?" jungkook looks at the elder brother past his bangs, waiting for him to say more.

"why's your hair like that?"

"oh uhm i accidentally got water on while riri was bathing and my got wet that's all,"

"is that so?" jimin arches up his brow questioningly and steps near the younger, stroking his hair back, gasping when he sees the reddish bump on his forehead, "how did you get hurt? what were you doing?"

"i- i fell..." jungkook covers up his forehead, brushing his hair down again and glances at taehyung with a glare.

"you can tell me kook. is anyone bothering you in school? did you fight someone?"

"no hyung, i fell really! i slipped in the bathroom a—"

"it's my fault," taehyung mumbles, "i pushed him in the tub, then we started playing with the water and he slipped and fell."

"wha— gosh! you two," jimin shakes his head, patting his brother's head and nods towards the kitchen, "go put some ice on it, you'll better."

"i'm okay hyung," jungkook grins widely, "you worry too much,"

"i... thought it must be hurting,"

"it does when i touch it,"

jimin chuckles, ruffling the boy's hair fondly as namjoon joins them, smiling at jungkook, he says, "kook's been so good today, we got a good result, he cleaned his room, then helped aera, and also helped us get the animals out."

"yes! so can i ask you something?!" jungkook beams.

"maybe," jimin smiles.

"okay, so i saw this vcr game in the mall and—"

"another game?"

"yes, please!"

"alright fine, you amd taehyung can go tomorrow."

"really?! i love you hyungie!" jungkook hugs jimin and namjoon tightly.

"you're so bad..." aera mumbles, "e'ryone is so happy and— but making riri sad..."

"jungkook has been a good boy today, so he's getting what he wants. but riri's been a bad girl." jimin tells her, getting an intense upset look from the six-year-old. "hold your ears properly,"

"i'm sorry oppa..."

"for what?"

"for uhm... for bringing frog and wormy at home,"

"good, anything else?"

"and scaring jinnie and hobi oppa,"

"and for making mess in the house," jimin adds, getting a nod from aera as she stares at him now and opens her arms, hoping he would let go of the anger and hug her now. "will you do this again?"

"no, i'm sorry," aera mumbles, taking a step forward towards him, "up..."

"go and say sorry to jinnie and hobi oppa,"

aera looks around, finding the two on the couch, looking much relaxed than before as she goes near them and holds her ears, "riri's sorry oppa, i don't wanna scare you,"

jin sighs softly, breaking into a smile and brings aera in his lap, "it's alright, but please don't do that again,"

"yeah, please," hoseok nods.

"don't worry oppa, i won't bring more frogs and wormies at home," aera giggles, kissing their cheeks and turns to jimin, raising her arms out, "now up..."

jimin smiles at her, carrying her in his arms and pats her back, "don't be mad at riri," she says, pecking his lips as her hands cups his face and stares right in his eyes. "you're my cute baby,"

"i thought riri's my cute baby?" jimin pouts ta her, making aera laugh as she shakes her head.

"koo is my baby too!"

"then who's baby are you?"

"appa!"

"right, where's appa?" jimin chuckles, heading to the kitchen where yoongi's already cooking, "hey appa, look riri's here,"

"appa! riri's here!" aera repeats, waving at yoongi who glances at them, "i said i'm your baby,"

"are you? i don't like naughty kids," yoongi says.

"i'm not naughty," aera shakes her head, speaking with confidence which impresses both the elder boys, "oppa's naughty!" she giggles, making jimin laugh.

"oh? what did he do?"

"he's calling you appa, you're my appa."

"so that makes oppa naughty?" yoongi chuckles as jimin makes her sit on the counter near the elder. aera nods, jumping down from the counter as something catches her eyes and walks over to the narrow space beside the fridge, gasping loudly with her finger pointing at something there.

"oppa look!" she chirps, "it's a baby spider!"

"what?! where?!" hoseok screams from the living room, making jimin and yoongi sigh.

"here hobi oppa! do you wanna see it?" aera picks it up in her hand, turning to show it to her oppas.

"nooo! keep it away from me!" hoseok replies, slamming the door shut.

"okay..." aera mumbles, poking the spider with her finger and looks at jimin, "oppa look mr. spider is so cute— my new friend."

"gosh! you and your new friends," jimin mutters, shaking her hand until the spider falls down and steps on it, earning an instant whine from the girl.

"don't hurt mr. spider!" she shrieks, crouching down and pushes her brother's leg away, poking the crushed spider with her finger, "hey, get up i'm sorry... my oppa didn't mean kill you..."

jimin shakes his head, carrying her up and washes her hands under the faucet, "why are you not scared of anything?" he mutters yo himself and then looks at aera, "we don't touch all animals and insects. it could be dangerous okay?"

"but they're cute, and i wanna be friends,"

"make human friends," jimin sighs, patting her back.

"okay this rule needs be worked on more," yoongi says, "nobody leave her alone,"
