(No one's pov)

A few days later Jungkook started to get more and more nervous. They looked at the house and now are going through the process of buying it, the last concert is next month, and they are going to agency in less than an hour.

He looked at his hair and parted it the way he liked. Jimin walked in and sat down like it was his bedroom. Jungkook turned to him and sat down on the desk chair.

"What are you doing Jimin-ssi?"

"I want you to promise me something."

"Ok?"

"I want to be your main babysitter if you need it."

"Hmm....ok."

Taehyung knocked on the open door and walked in. Jimin noticed, winked at Taehyung and left. He gave Jimin a weird look and sat down.

"You excited?"

"I mean yea, just a little nervous."

"What are you nervous about."

"I don't know if I will be able to parent them well."

"Hey, it's going to be ok. We will learn together."

"Ok.."

They left the house and got into the car. It's only been a few minutes since they talked and Jungkook was already more excited. He was practically bouncing in his seat.

Taehyung put his hand on Jungkook's thigh to try and calm him down. It worked a little bit, he stopping bouncing at least.

He got excited again when they pulled into the parking lot and had to be calmed down. But Taehyung was taking forever to get out so Jungkook basically dragged him out of the car.

When they got inside a woman in her mid-thirties came up to them with a clipboard. She had a mother-like expression on her face that let Jungkook know he didn't have to be formal with someone he went to highschool with.

"Hello, Mr. Kim you have a scheduled meeting with us, correct?"

"Eun, we went to highschool together. You don't have to be professional, remember."

She sighed in relief and relaxed, "thank god, I didn't know what you two wanted to better to be safe. Sorry I couldn't attend the wedding by the way."

"It's fine, I heard you were on a busy trip."

"Koo, who is she?"

"Lee Eunjung, me and her went to highschool together. She helped me decide to audition."

"Yea, hi, you can just call me Eunjung or Eun. Whichever feels good for you. Nice to finally meet you."

"You guys are awkward."

"Anyways, we should get started. Do you have a specific age group?"

"1 month to 16 months if possible."

"We can manage."

She lead them to a down the hall, passing the kids 5-11, 2-4, and then they got to the babies. Jungkook cooed at how cute they are, so tiny and huggable.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung and nodded with a big smile on his face. Taehyung held his hand and they went over to the cribs. He looked at them and almost died because of how cute they were.

There was one that caught his eye. He walked over and stood in front of the baby. They were small and fast asleep. Jungkook felt an immediate connection and knew this was one of the children he wanted to adopt.

"So you took an interest in Sungmin."

"Yes."

"Ok do you want to hold him?"

Jungkook nodded and she showed him how to hold the baby. She picked the baby up and handed him to Jungkook. He stared at the sleeping baby as he held him. Eunjung laughed quietly and caught his attention.

"You're too tense, calm down a bit."

Jungkook sat down and fixed the blanket wrapped around Sungmin. A soft smile appeared on his face. The baby's eyes slowly open and he gave Jungkook blank look.

After a few seconds of just staring he gave Jungkook a toothless smile. Jungkook leaned back right when Taehyung came back. He was helping a 1 year old walk over. He was wearing a somewhat oversized tan onesie and had dark brown hair.

Taehyung got down on his knees and gently held the boy's shoulders. "Jungkook meet, Sanghoon."

Jungkook looked down at the small child and smiled. He pat down on the seat next to him and Taehyung helped him onto the couch.

He sat down on the other side of the kid and watched as his interest in who Jungkook was holding grew. He pointed at the baby and whined.

"Hm?"

"Dat?"

"It's a-"

Jungkook noticed the child start to fall and panicked.

He quickly pulled Sanghoon over to him and held him while making sure Sungmin didn't fall either. Eunjung saw it happen and called both Jungkook and Taehyung to her office.

Against what Jungkook wanted he had to leave the children behind while they went. He sat down and waited, a nervous look on his face.

"Well, I have seen how you two have acted with them and I can tell there is a genuine connection there."

"Ok?"

"Now I have to ask a few questions and run a background check before I can even pull out the documents. Of course the fact you two were probably in a relationship before the bill making it legal passed won't effect this."

The two nodded and she opened up her computer. She looked around and got all the info needed on Jungkook, spotless of anything bad as expected. She then looked through, Taehyung's and frowned.

"Taehyung, you have a record of lashing out at people without hearing their side or caring about them at all, would you like to explain."

"I'm sorry, I truly am. I just get a little too heated and do things without thinking. It happened once with Koo, but we were able to talk it out and I am different now. We were able to work past that and he helped, I promise you when we adopt I won't do that to my children."

"I'm going to hold you accountable to that."

After she finished the documents she turned to them. Jungkook tensed up because of the look on her face.

"The two you will be adopting are actually related by blood. Father left shortly after the last pregnancy because of their mother's habits. She got deeply into drinking and and died of liver failure on the couch a few days later, when Sungmin was only 1 week old. They have been here for a little over a day, and luckily there are no physical issues on either of them. But we will see about mentally as they grow up."

"Is it possible that there won't be any mental issues? just curious."

"Yes it is possible. If you don't know there is a thing called fetal amnesia, where you won't have any memories prior to a certain age, for most people that is age 4." She responded,"but we can never be sure."

"Got it."

"Lastly the questions. Will you two protect and care for them, no matter what."

"Of course we will."

"Good. Will you support the children if they are in the LGBT community in anyway, even if you don't understand it?"

"Definitely."

"Will you help them through hardships and not blame everything on something else if you know you are in the wrong."

The two nodded.

"Well then."  She said and took out the documents. "Sign here, initial here, and date here. Also do you have a settled place to live, and when will you be picking them up."

Jungkook did as she said and handed the pen to Taehyung who did the same thing.

"We do, we are in the moving in process. And we will pick them up when we get back from our last concert."

"Perfect"
