[Your POV]

I sat in the guild by myself. I looked over to where Natsu was sitting and sighed. He had been hanging out with Erza, Gray and Lucy. Ever since Lucy joined he has been ignoring me, and that was technically seven years ago, although to the us who were on Tenrou Island she has only been a member for around a year. I sighed and thought back to when we were little.

[Flashback]
A young girl was playing in the park in Magnolia when a group of children approached her. "What's up with your hair?" One of the children asked as they pulled on her hair. "P-please stop." She said. "Why should we? It's fun!" Another one of the children said as they kicked her. They continued to insult her and hurt her until someone yelled at them. "Leave her alone!" The person yelled. The children looked over to see a boy about their age with pink hair running towards them. "I know him! He's a wizard! Run!" One of the children yelled as they all ran away. "And don't come back!" He yelled. "Are you alright (Y/N)?" He asked as he bent down to her level. "I'm okay, thanks Natsu." (Y/N) said as she hugged him. "Why don't you ever stop them? I mean you have magic." Natsu said. "Grandpa said not to use my magic on them." (Y/N) said. "But-" Natsu started but she interrupted him. "He's not just the guild master to me, he's my real grandpa he raised me." (Y/N) Said. Natsu sighed. "Let's go back to the guild." Natsu said as he helped her up.
[Flashback End]

I smiled thinking about that. "Hey (Y/N) what's on your mind?" Laxus asked as he sat down next to him. "Oh, nothing." I said. "Natsu?" He asked. "How do you do that?" I asked. "I'm your brother, I can pretty much read your mind." He said with a laugh. I squinted my eyes and looked at him. "I think you actually do read my mind." I said. He laughed and ruffled my hair. "Keep thinking that kid." He said. I crossed my arms. "I'm not a kid!" I said. He just laughed at me. I sighed and laid my head on the table. "So, what did Natsu do this time?" Laxus asked. "Ever since Lucy joined he's been ignoring me." I said. "Then ask him to go on a mission." Laxus suggested. "You think that will work?" I asked. "Of course, and if he keeps ignoring you, tell me, I'll make sure he won't ignore you." Laxus said as he let off a small spark.

I smiled at him and walked to the request board. I picked a job and went over to Natsu and the others. "Hey (Y/N) what's up?" Natsu said. "I was wondering if you would like to go on a job?" I asked with a smile. "Of course!" He said happily. "Can they tag along?" He asked pointing towards Gray Erza and Lucy. My smile faded. "Oh, sure." I said. Lucy seemed to notice and spoke up. "I don't really feel like going." She said. She whispered something into Erza's ear and Erza nodded. "Why not just go with (Y/N)?" Erza said. "Okay." Natsu said as he grabbed my hand and started to pull me out of the guild. I looked back at Lucy and she gave me thumbs up. I mouthed her a 'thank you'

"So what's the mission?" Natsu asked. "To stop a dark wizard assassin." I said. "Wait, is he an assassin who takes out dark wizards? Or an assassin who is also a dark wizard?" Natsu asked. "And assassin who is also a dark wizard." I said. Natsu nodded. "So where is he?" Natsu asked. "She's in Oshibana Town." I said. "Oh okay. Wait, she?" Natsu said. "Oh yeah, the assassin is a woman. Her name is Belladonna." I said. "That's a weird name." Natsu said. "Bellona was the Goddess Of War.

It's likely it's not her real name." I said as we continued walking towards the train station.
They arrived at the train station and got on, much to Natsu's dismay. "Come on Natsu, it's the fastest way to Oshibana." I said. "Who said we need to get there fast? Let's take it nice and slow and walk!!" Natsu yelled. I hit him on the back of the head knocking him out. "Well at least now he won't feel sick." I said as I dragged him to our seat.

[Time Skip]

"Natsu, hey Natsu, wake up you drama queen, I didn't hit you that hard." I said. I sighed and grabbed his arm dragging him out of the train. I continued dragging him through the town receiving strange looks. Finally, Natsu woke up and I stopped dragging him. "Oh look, you're alive." I said. "Why did you knock me out?" Natsu asked. "You didn't get motion sickness now did you?" I said. "Hey, you're right, thanks (N/N)![Nick Name]" Natsu said as he hugged me. I blushed and pushed him off of her. "Come on Natsu, we have to go to the requester." I said.
We went to the requester and he explained that Belladonna had been targeting people and assassinating them. "Why is she doing it?" I asked. "Because people are paying her of course." He said. "Do you have any idea as to where she is?" Natsu asked. "She has a hideout in the forest." He said. "Right, thank you." We said as we left. "Be careful though, she has the ability to control women with her magic." He warned. "Just women?" I asked. He nodded.

[Time Skip]

We quickly found Belladonna and engaged her in battle. "You have no chance of defeating me! I am Belladonna! The Goddess Of War!" She said cockily. "Well I'm Natsu, The Dragon Slayer of Fire." Natsu replied. She scoffed. "Dragons are fake." She said. I glared at her. She can boast all she wants about herself. But I will not allow her to say that Dragons are fake Natsu said he was raised by a Dragon, and I believe him.

I ran at her as I lit my fist on fire. That's right, I'm a fire wizard, I'm a great match with Natsu if I do say so myself. She chuckled and put her hand out. "Nice try sweetheart, but I can control women. Now, I'll make you burn your boyfriend to a crisp." Belladonna said. She used her magic and forced me to use mine. Right as my fire was about to hit Natsu he ate it. "Wow (Y/N) that's the best fire I have ever tasted in my life." Natsu said. Belladonna looked shocked, but she quickly recover, obviously trying to save face. "Even if I can't have you burn him, I can still defeat him." She said as she made me hit Natsu over and over. "Sorry!!" I yelled, having no control over anything except my voice. Natsu seemed annoyed but that was it.

He sighed and grabbed me making it, so I couldn't move. "Geez that was annoying." He said. "I'm sorry!" I said. "Don't worry about it. It isn't your fault, I gotta kick this Belladonna chicks ass so we can get our cash." Natsu said. "How chivalrous of you." I said in a sarcastic manner. "I'm going to have to knock you out, so she can't control you anymore." Natsu said. "Wait, I don't have to be conscious for her to control me right?' I said. "Actually, you do." Belladonna chimed in. I sweatdropped. 'She's not very bright revealing that to her enemies is she?' I though. "Well fine then, knock me out." I sighed. Suddenly everything went black as I lost consciousness.

[Time Skip]

I woke up with someone carrying me. I looked up to see Natsu. "Oh, good you're awake." He said. I nodded. "Where are we?" I asked. "We're in Magnolia, almost at Fairy Tail." He said. It was dark, so I couldn't see very well to recognize my surroundings at first. "Wait, why's it dark? Oshibana only takes a little while." I said. Natsu chuckled lightly. "I walked." He said. I felt bad.

He had to carry me that far. "I'm sorry you had to carry me." I said. "Don't worry about it, I don't mind one bit." He said. I blushed slightly. "Oh, okay. But you know Natsu." I started. "Yeah?" He asked. "You could set me down now." I said. "Oh right! Sorry." He said as he sat me down. We walked to Fairy Tail and went inside. There were still a few people there. "Welcome back! How did your mission go?" Mirajane said. I looked at Natsu, so he would answer seeing as I was knocked out. "It went great. Though it was a bit hard for (Y/N) because the person could control her, so I had to knock her out." Natsu said.

Suddenly Laxus appeared with a dark aura surrounding him. "Did you just say you knocked my little sister out?" Laxus growled. "Don't worry Laxus, if he hadn't it would have been much harder to complete the mission. Besides I agreed to it." I said.

Laxus huffed and crossed his arms. "Well whatever, but if you ever hurt my sister, physically or emotionally, I will personally see to it that you meet an early demise." Laxus growled. Natsu laughed nervously. "Aye!" He said. "What a chicken." Someone grumbled. Natsu glared at the person in the corner. I knew who it was from the start. "What did you just say, metalhead?" Natsu growled. "You deaf Salamander?" Gajeel growled back as he walked over to us. "It was rhetorical." Natsu said. "I'm surprised you can even pronounce that word you fire breathing moron." Gajeel said. "Shut up you iron-eating freak." Natsu said. I sighed. "Girls, you're both pretty, stop the catfight before someone breaks a nail." I said. Laxus laughed and threw his arm around my shoulder. "You heard her." He said. Gajeel scoffed and returned to his seat in the corner.

[Next Day]

I was sitting in the guild when Natsu barged in. He ran up to me and grabbed my arm pulling me out of the guild. "Where are you taking me!?!" I yelled. He chuckled. "You'll see." He said. We walked for a while until we came to a hill. "Why are we here Natsu?" I asked. He put his finger to his lips. "Shh." he shushed me. I gave him a questioning look. "Get down low." He whispered as he went down close to the ground. I shrugged and copied his action. "So why are we here?" I whispered. "Look." He whispered pointing towards a tree. "Wha-" I started but stopped when I saw what he was pointing at.

A Phoenix. It flew out of the tree gracefully soaring through the air. "Amazing." I said in awe. "it's lived here for a long time, I've always protected it since they're so rare." Natsu said. "Why do we have to be quiet?" I whispered. Natsu chuckled. "Well usually she's pretty friendly with me but look closely." He said. I looked, and my eyes widened. On her back were three babies Phoenix. "You're the first one other than me to ever see her." Natsu said. "How do you know that?" I asked. "She told me." He said. "She can talk?" I asked. "Well not exactly. She can communicate, but it's not speaking, think of it as a kind of telepathy." He said.

Suddenly I heard the most beautiful voice. "I know you're there Natsu, and the girl as well." The voice said. Natsu laughed nervously as he scratched the back of his head standing up. "Sorry Sapphire." He said. "Who is your companion?" She asked. "This is (Y/N), she's a fire wizard too." Natsu said. "I can see she has a pure heart." Sapphire said. She landed in front of us. She was amazing, at least eight feet tall. The babies that rode on her back were much smaller but still large.

We talked with Sapphire for a while and then decided to leave. "That was so amazing Natsu." I said. We were sitting on a hill enjoying the sunset. He smiled at me and I smiled back. "Can I try something?" Natsu asked. "Sure, I guess." I said. Suddenly Natsu's lips were on mine. My eyes widened at first, but I settled into the kiss. We broke apart after a while needing air. Natsu rested his forehead against mine. "I really like you (Y/N)" Natsu whispered. "Actually no, I love you." He corrected himself. I smiled. "I love you too Natsu." I whispered back.
