Headcanon of the chapter:
- Tomomi draws manga style
art of everyone in the class and
even of events that she's been through

- Tomomi's powers look a lot like
Elsa's from Frozen. So she can do the
ice blue auras Elsa does, freezing snow
fall completely and everything.

( basically she's their world's Elsa )

Tomomi laid in the infirmary, resting her energy away. Recovery Girl was able to fully recover her wound in her abdomen and help the healing of her neck speed up but since there were frost bites all over her body and that was a quirk related injury, she could only cover her in a heating blanket and wait until she woke up. She was going to be just fine but since she lost a good amount of blood, she needed to rest.

"Well, Miss Todoroki will be just fine." Recovery girl said, carefully placing a heated towel on her forehead. The frost bites looked intricate. Like spirals and pretty designs were attached to her face and arms. Even her legs. "She just needs rest. It must have been so scary for her and those students."

All Might stood in her room, separate from Midoriya's, and watched the resting girl intently. From what Thirteen had told him and the other heroes about the damage of the Tsunami Unit, this girl was tougher than she hides.

He had gotten to know who Tomomi was before their first hero training session. He knew who Enji Todoroki was and to see his kids in U.A was a bit of a shock, considering he rarely ever mentions his family ever. But from what he saw between Shoto and Tomomi, he could obviously see their own skill sets and where they excelled.

While Shoto was more tactical and better at hand to hand combat, Tomomi excelled at technique and was the better ice user. While Shoto was better at strategy before hand, Tomomi was better at executing battle plans than he was. But the twins balanced each other out perfectly.

When Shoto couldn't use his ice quirk as much, Tomomi picked up the slack perfectly. He could see the bond those two have and the way they worked together.

What worried him was the fact that she could have died that day. And she was close enough. Too close for any of the school's comfort but All Might was proud and impressed by her strength. It's what got her to escape from death and he was proud of the entire class for being strong. He could tell they were all going to be just fine. They were going to be strong heroes after high school.

"Her brother stayed with her most of the morning." Recovery Girl spoke up, breaking the silence. "He must love his sister something awful."

"He was worried." All Might pointed out. "Rightfully so, the last thing he saw was his sister being dragged into a portal....That's enough to make anyone scared for their family."

Recovery Girl hummed. She couldn't argue with that. She was happy that Miss Todoroki was okay but she was worried for Shoto's well being. It seemed like they were truly like Yin and Yang. One couldn't exist without the other.

Suddenly, a groan escaped from Tomomi's mouth, gaining everyone's attention. The two looked to see her frowning as she twisted her body slightly. The frost bites were disappearing from her skin into water as it seeped into her skin.

She opened her eyes and looked around. She, at first, thought she was in the hospital but quickly realized she was back at the school.

"Good, you're awake, my dear." Recovery said, smiling at her as she took the heated towel off of her forehead. "You've been out for about a day and a half. School is still in session."

Tomomi rose up slowly and rested her back on the backboard of the bed. She wasn't in her hero costume anymore but instead in a hospital gown. She felt her abdomen and noticed there was no trace of her being stabbed or a scar. It was as if it never happened but she still felt very sore there.

"Can you talk just fine?" Recovery Girl asked, giving her a cup pf water. "The bruising around your neck should go away in another day, I was able to pick up the healing process by a lot."

"W-W-" She stuttered out after drinking a gulp of the ice water. Which helped with the roughness in her throat. "W-W-Where's Shoto?"

"He's in class right now." All Might spoke up, making his presence known. "As is the rest of the class, they're all worried but we assured them that you just needed rest."

She nodded, looking at the water in her cup. If she was being honest, she was still very petrified with what happened to her. The image of the tentacles will never leave her mind and the things he said to her scared her into surviving.

And if she knew her father well, he was going to reprimand her for being too weak to not leave the fight without a mark. She dreaded going home.

"You may go back to class if you're up for it, Young Miss Todoroki." All Might said again, cutting her thoughts short. "Just don't over do it with your quirk again. Wouldn't want you to collapse on us again."

Tomomi nodded, spotting her school uniform on the table next to her. All Might and Recovery Girl both left the room to give her privacy as she began climbing out of the bed and began getting dressed. As she got dressed, she noticed her snowflake hairclip next to her blazer.

She picked it up and noticed that the back to it was completely gone. Only leaving the medium sized pendant. Sighing, she felt bad. It was a gift from a friend and it got ruined. And she didn't want to get rid of it so she found gauze tape and tore off a very very thin string off of it and fashioned it into a makeshift necklace, tying it around her neck and letting it rest on her chest.

Once she was dressed, she picked up her bag ( Which was also on the chair ) and slowly walked out the room. Her abdomen felt sore as she left the office in silence. Even walking too fast was too much for her at the moment.

"Before you leave, here's something to help with the soreness." Recovery Girl stopped her just before she could completely leave.

Tomomi watched as she handed her a small patch. "It's to help nullify the pain in your abdomen and back. You may go to the bathroom and place it on."

She nodded, flashing her a grateful grin before letting it fall and walking out. Before making it back to class, she walked to the nearest girls bathroom and did as she was instructed to do.

In all honesty, she just wanted to end this day already and it wasn't even lunch yet.

"TOMO-CHAN!"

As soon as she made it back to class, the first person who noticed her was Uraraka. The class was currently in a class rep meeting when Tomomi made it back to the classroom and Aizawa was still gone. It had only been a day and they had a substitute teacher for now.

Tomomi was immediately met with a bone-crushing hug from the gravity quirk user. If it weren't for the healing pad on her stomach, that hug would have been super painful.

"We thought you would never wake up! I'm so happy you're okay!" She spoke at a speed which was too fast for her to listen.

And as Uraraka let go, in came Mina with another tight hug. "TODO-CHAN, DON'T YOU EVER SCARE US LIKE THAT AGAIN!"

Tomomi chuckled lightly as she hugged her back by the waist before her eyes landed on Shoto and then on Bakugou. While Shoto stared at her with much relief in his eyes, Bakugou looked at her with an unreadable expression before his eyes flickered to her broken hairclip that was now a necklace.

Then, like that, he looked away, glaring at nothing. Which disheartened her. Had she done something wrong to him? Was he really angry with her?

As more of her friends crowded around her, expressing how happy they were she was okay now, she couldn't help but look at Bakugou and wondered why he was ignoring her. It was as if it was the first day of school again.

She decided to talk him during lunch.

"Katsuki-chan!" Tomomi called out, quickly following him to the roof of the school. He practically zoomed out of class as soon as the lunch bell rung and he would ignore her calls out to him, so she practically ran to the roof top.

"Katsuki-chan!" She huffed out, closing the door behind her. "Would you just talk to me?"

"What?!" Bakugou yelled harshly at her, spinning to look at her. "Can't you take a damn hint that I don't want to be bothered?! Huh?!"

"What did I do to make you so angry?!" She yelled back to him, not appreciating his harsh tone. "Whatever it was, I'm sorry, okay?!"

"Stop apologizing!" Bakugou venomously spat out at her, his red eyes getting darker the angrier he looked and that scared her a little. "Ever since I've met you, you are always apologizing for the stupidest reasons! I just want to be alone, okay!? I don't need your damn pity!"

"I'm not giving you pity, Katsuki! I'M BEING A GOOD FRIEND TO YOU!!!"

Bakugou paused, his glare falling off of his face as she glared back at him just as hard as he was. Wordlessly, he allowed her to continue.

"IF ANYONE SHOULD BE ANGRY, IT'S ME!! YOU WORRIED ME WHEN YOU AND KIRISHIMA RAN INTO BATTLE RECKLESSLY!!!" Tomomi confessed. "IF YOU WOULD STOP THINKING OF YOURSELF FOR A MOMENT, MAYBE YOU CAN SEE YOU HAVE PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR WELLBEING, KATSUKI-CHAN!!!"

"MAYBE I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH HAVING A REAL FRIEND!" Bakugou snapped, going back to his glare. "MAYBE I WAS WORRIED ABOUT YOU AND IT'S THE FIRST TIME I'VE THOUGHT I HAD LOST A FRIEND?! MAYBE WE SHOULDN'T BE FRIEND IN THE FIRST PLACE!"

"STOP MAKING CHOICES FOR ME!!" She screamed louder than her, anger bubbling in her veins. Which stunned Bakugou back to his silent state as he looked at her with wide eyes.

"YOU DON'T GET TO TELL ME WHO I SHOULD BE FRIENDS WITH AND IF WE SHOULD STAY FRIENDS! MY OWN FATHER MAKES CHOICES FOR ME ALL THE TIME, I DON'T NEED YOU DOING IT FOR ME!" Tomomi continued on. "KATSUKI BAKUGOU, I AM NOT ASKING, I AM TELLING YOU THAT I AM GOING TO BE YOUR FRIEND AND THAT IS FINAL! BECAUSE I AM NOT GOING TO LOSE YOU EVER!"

Before he could even think of a response, she turned back around and left him on that rooftop. Stunned by the fact that she cared a lot about him. Bakugou, for a long time, never paid attention to how there were people that cared about him ( example; Midoriya ) and to see that she cared enough to confess something about her family, he didn't know how to handle that.

He didn't know how to handle having a friend like Tomomi and, in some way, he thought by distancing himself away from her would keep her safe from his recklessness. But whether he liked it or not, she was in his heart to stay and he was going to have to learn how to deal with it.

This was shorter than expected
But this is concludes act one of
Frost Bite.
Act Two: Sports Festival and Familial trials
will start next update.
we dive deeper into Bakugou and Tomomi's
friendship and even going as far as having
some very romantic scenes between the two

Also we go into depths of her friendship
with the others ( mainly Midoriya, Tokoyami and
Momo )

We get to see more of her skills and how
she becomes way more independent.
Also we dive deep with why Dabi/Touya
still has love for Tomomi and why, no matter
what his plan is, he could never hurt or hate her
out of all of his family memeber.

Tomomi even goes through a physical change and
it involves hair dye.
