"I could just take away the cold pain, Katsuki-chan."

"DON'T YOU DARE, YOU DAMN FROST BITE!"

The two had gotten ice cream after a while and Bakugou bit into it right away, making his teeth go numb with cold pain. Now, he was yelling in pain. Tomomi giggled as some passerbys looked at him like he was either on drugs or he was crazy. Either way, it was still a funny sight.

"GODDAMNIT!" He yelled, holding his mouth. Tomomi just kept giggling at him. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?!"

"You're cute when you're angry." She blurted out, not meaning to at all.

Bakugou paused, being caught completely off guard. And to tell you the truth, so was she. She thought she was thinking that, she didn't expect herself to actually say it. And he felt his face grow warm as a pink blush graced his face.

There his heart goes, skipping a beat again. And there his confidence level diminishing. He hated it because no one can be this charming and cute and not be aware of it. Is she even human? What's wrong with her?! This is all her fault.

If it was for that stupid project and her stupid mind tricks and her stupid pretty smile, pretty hair, pretty eyes, and perfect face, he wouldn't be having this existential crisis right now. But noooooo. . . . . . Here he was, possibly having a heart attack over some stupid girl who called him cute.

"IF WE'RE GONNA BE FRIENDS, STOP THOSE DAMN SNEAK ATTACKS!! IT'S FUCKING ILLEGAL!!"

And like always, Tomomi was left very confused. What sneak attacks? He's physically fine. Mentally and emotionally, not all the way there but he's learning. "Why do you keep insisting that I am attacking you?"

"D-Do you not know when you act like that, you attract guys everywhere?" Bakugou asked, looking at her like she was an idiot. "You seriously have no clue when you're being cute-"

"You think I'm cute?" Tomomi asked, giving him a sly smile. "Oh, Katsuki-chan, how sweet of you."

Bakugou froze again as she smiled at him prettily. "L-L-Let's just go somewhere else." He huffed, keeping his head down and walking ahead of her in a rapid manner. Mumbling under his breath as he went.

Tomomi giggled again. He was so easy to make flustered. It was actually kind of fun.

"I am glad you consider me your friend, Katsuki-chan."

The two aspiring heroes left the shopping district in favor of walking through a nearby park. Tomomi could tell Bakugou, though he was a complex character and very erratic, has layers to him. It was hard to get through them but it was transparent to her.

"Hmph, you should feel lucky to even be associated with a future hero like myself." Bakugou boasted, flashing a cocky smile. "Trust me, Frost Bite, stick with me and you could probably be good as me."

"There's that attitude again." She sighed. But if they were going to be friends, she would have to get used to it. No matter how annoying it was to constantly hear him boast about himself.

"So are you ready to answer my question?" He suddenly said as they sat down at a bench.

"What question?"

"The only one you've been avoiding this entire time." He reminded, leaning back with his hands behind his head. "I can tell you're not normal. You've obviously never had a friend before, you're very weird and socially unavailable. If you weren't so pretty, I'd call you a loser."

Tomomi looked at him deadpan. Was that last sentence supposed to be a compliment? All he has been doing was insult her or call her a weirdo. Bakugou was very unbelievable at times. She wondered how anyone could be friends with him for so long. How was Kirishima friends with him? How was Midoriya so hellbent on being his friend?

"Well, I could go on with how emotionally unavailable you are, you're obvious anger issues which probably stems from insecurities but that would take all day." She retaliated as calm as always.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY, FROST BITE?!" He furiously yelled, feeling very insulted. "YOU DON'T KNOW A DAMN THING ABOUT ME!!"

"I do know that your favorite colors are red and black, you like spicy foods, you hate pop music, you're very competitive but secretly a generous person." She listed off, not noticing his angered state. "Also, you like chocolate more than vanilla with the way you very much avoided it. You're also a strong person with a strong personality and will."

Bakugou calmed down when she said all of that. Was she really paying that much attention to him? He has never had someone do that with him. Except Deku, maybe. Bakugou came to a conclusion that this girl was more than she let on or what was beyond that icy exterior. No pun intended. And he also decided that maybe she wasn't as bad as he initially thought. Maybe being her friend wouldn't be so bad.

"Which is something I very much admire." She continued, her icy blue eyes meeting his. "You will be a great hero, Katsuki-chan."

Bakugou felt his cheeks heat up again at her smile, but this time, he didn't yell at her for it. He grumbled and looked away, but he didn't yell at her this time.

"Anyone who is able to stand up to me and rebuttal my words deserves to be my friend." He said in his naturally harsh tone of voice. "Stop dismissing yourself, it's damn annoying."

Tomomi looked at Bakugou with a surprised face. He really did consider her his friend now. And for some reason, she felt very warm inside. Even if his words were harsh. She got him to have a friendship with her.

She smiled, looking at her fingers before grinning at him. "You are more kind than you let on."

"You have a lot of faith in someone you've only known for a week, Frost Bite." He chuckled slightly, going back to his relaxed position.

"You are showing a lot of kindness to someone you've only known for a week, also." Tomomi shot back, causing Bakugou to look right at her in slight shock. She flashed him a playful grin as he scoffed again, but this time, he followed it up with the same grin on his face.

"You didn't have to walk me close to home." Tomomi said as they continued on to the path to her home.

After some time and more questioning, Bakugou offered to walk her home as the sun began to set. Well....more like he demanded that she showed him where she lived so he could walk her home. But she was more worried about how he was going to get home. His home must be further than hers. Considering she lived in a more richer neighborhood. Not that she thought he lived in slums, it was just her neighborhood was a bit further away.

They actually had to take one subway to her neighborhood.

"Shut up, dumbass." Bakugou said, walking with his hands behind his head. "I might be an asshole most of the times but I'm not going to let you get home by yourself."

"Such a gentleman you are." She replied, adding that to her list of things to write about him. "A diamond you are. . . . .Rough but a diamond, nonetheless."

Bakugou hmphed, smirking at her. "Your compliments are weird."

Soon, the two made it to the gate that lead to her home. Bakugou wasn't surprised by the size of her home. She was the daughter of the second best hero in the world. Of course, she was rich.

Tomomi placed her hand on the gate and was about to open it but she paused and looked at Bakugou with concern in her eyes. "Will you make it home safe?"

"Stop worrying about me, you're not my mother." Bakugou brushed off her concerns like he didn't care. But in reality, he felt grateful that she actually cared about his safety. Not many did. And it felt good. "You make sure you get in before your daddy blows a gasket or something."

Tomomi expected that answer. Which is why she laughed slightly. "Thank you for today, Katsuki-chan. I had fun."

"Hmph, whatever." Bakugou replied, frowning as he began walking away. "See you around, extra!"

"Goodbye, Katsuki-chan." She said, pushing the gate open. As she was about to walk in, she heard shouting behind her.

"Hey!" She turned around and saw Bakugou walking right back to her. Tomomi, curious as to what he need, closed the gate again as he stood in front of her.

His hands were in his pockets this time as he pulled something out of his left pocket. Tomomi watched as he handed her a medium sized white box. "Here, don't say I never did anything for you. . . .friend."

When he referred to her as his friend, she felt a warm feeling in her heart as she took the box from him. She glanced at him, opening it. It was the same diamond snowflake hair clip she had been staring at back at the Shopping district. She was super shocked yet so happy with the kind gesture, she impulsively pulled him into a hug, catching him completely off guard. And herself, if she was being honest.

Bakugou froze yet again after feeling her arms around his waist as she buried her face in his chest. She could hear his heart beating in her ear. He didn't know what to do as he has never had a girl hug him before. This was foreign to him and he didn't know what to do in this moment. So he did what he did best. Respond in a way that only a Bakugou would. Very Tsundere.

"G-Get off of me! What's wrong with you?!" He yelled, pushing her away. Not too harshly because he was feeling embarrassed. "Yes, we are friends but d-don't go doing all that lovey dovey crap without warning me first! What if someone saw?!"

Tomomi blinked before noticing his blush he was trying to hide. She was feeling a little embarrassed by her sudden action, as well. Which was evident with the pink tint in her cheeks.

"M-My apologies, Katsuki-chan."She stuttered out, looking down.

Bakugou, still blushing, remained silent. Which created an awkward moment. She looked away, rubbing her arm and he stuffed his hands in his pockets again. Boy, was this awkward. Neither of them knew what to say to each other. That hug just shocked the both of them.

"J-Just go inside," He mumbled.

"Y-Yes, Good a-afternoon, Bakugou." She bowed before quickly swinging the gate open and practically running to her front door. Bakugou looked on as she ran inside her house. He couldn't help but smile a little, thinking she was very much cute. Like everyone said.

"Goodnight, Tomomi." He whispered, before walking away.
