For future reference,
any outfit photo I use
for Tomomi will be in the
media above. For organizing
reasons. Also some might
be of real life photos so just
keep the imagination going.

This is what I modeled
her dress to be in this chapter.
and maybe next one.
Also Dabi will be playing a
big role in Tomomi's life.

(I believe he is Touya but
who knows )

Little Tomomi Todoroki cried after her third nightmare. It was normal for kids to have nightmares in their childhood but for her, it was proven to be bad.

Because her emotions also tied with her
quirk, her room froze over and snowflakes were flowing as if it were stuck in time.

The same thing happened to Fuyumi when she was growing up and the same thing could be said about their mother. But for some reason, Tomomi's were much worse.

Often times, those nights would leave the entire home cold as she cried. And when no one would get up to calm her down, Touya was never far behind.

"Hey, hey!" Young Touya whispered as he tip toed into her very cold room Tomomi kept crying in her tiny fists as she sat up in her bed. She was only 5 years old.

"Toto~ it's okay." The red head elder child whispered calmly as he sat on her bed, pulling her into his lap. "It's okay, big brother is here."

Tomomi's sobs began to subside as she hiccuped, rubbing her crystal blue eyes. "T-Touya?"

Touya smiled at her, hugging her close to his warm body. "It was only a dream, Toto. Nothing is going to hurt you, I'll make sure of it."

When she had a nightmare, she could always count on Touya to be there for her. She could count on him for anything. Which only made his disappearance all the more hurting to her in the long run.

"No matter what, I'll stay with you forever."

"Pinky promise?" She asked, holding up her tiny pinky.

Touya smiled sweetly, holding up his bandages pinky. "Pinky promise, my little princess."

Tomomi jolted out of her sleep that early Saturday morning. The sun shined through her bedroom curtains as she rubbed her eyes. She was dreaming about Touya again. Their older brother who went MIA years ago.

No one knows where he is. It was like he never existed. Like he was just a figment of her imagination.

She sighted, running her fingers through her wavy hair. She missed him. And to this day, his absence still hit her very hard. She just didn't want anyone to know.

But judging by how cold her room felt on a hot sunny day, anyone would be able to tell something was wrong.

"Get it together, Tomomi." She whispered to herself as she climbed out of bed. "Get it together."

"Good morning, Yin and Yang." Fuyumi, the twin's older sister, greeted as she cooked.

Natsuo and Fuyumi stuck around to practically raise the twins. After their mother was sent to a mental hospital and Touya's disappearance, Fuyumi took it upon herself to raise the twins. Acting as their surrogate mother.

Natsuo stepped in to help take care of them too. Even though she's around more than him, he does stop by every now and then.

"Good morning, Yumi ~." Tomomi greeted as she sat next to Shouto at the dinner table.

"So what's this I hear from Shouto that you're going on a date today." Fuyumi smirked, pushing up her glasses. "It's already the first week and my little ice princess had guys falling over her. It's the Todoroki Curse. We're too good looking."

Tomomi shot her twin brother a glare as he covered his chuckling with his cup of coffee. "Whatever Shouto told you is a lie. It's for a project we're doing. My partner thinks we would get to know each other better in a more relaxed environment."

But like Shouto, Fuyumi had a feeling this project will turn into something more for the two of them. And given what Shouto has said about this Bakugou kid, opposites seem to attract very often. Look at their parents ( it was arranged but you get the idea. ).

"No matter, I have the perfect dress for you." Fuyumi said, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "Oh, you are going to look so good for your date, Icy."

"Not a date." Tomomi mumbled, hiding her embarrassed face.

Shouto grinned at his sister's shyness. She was so easy to pick on. It was adorable. "By the way you reacted to her words, I would say you have a crush on our erratic classmate."

"Shouto, shut up!" Tomomi whispered harshly, giving him another embarrassed glare.

"I swear we love chaotic people in this family." Fuyumi added, giggling lightly. "Come on, I'll help you get ready and I'll take you."

Tomomi allowed her to pull her out of her seat and back towards her room. But not before she drew a line under her neck to Shouto, indicating that she will kill him if he said anything else.

Shouto teasingly shot her a heart with his two fingers meaning love you too, Tomo.

"I'M LEAVING!! IF YOU NEED ME, FUCK OFF!!" Bakugou yelled behind him before leaving his house.

"COME BACK WITH A GIRLFRIEND, YOU LITTLE SHIT!!" Mitsuki Bakugou, his mother whom might just be worse than him, yelled back at him. Ticking him off.

"FUCK OFF, OLD HAG!!" He screamed back before slamming the door behind him. "Damn woman." He mumbled before leaving completely.

"Where is this damn Frost Bite?" Bakugou murmured as he stood there in the middle of the crowded shopping district. The place was literally an outdoors mega mall with escalators and everything.

There was an arcade that he used to go to after school. He always wondered why he never came back to this place. Oh yeah, I hate people.... he reminded himself. Which means this dumbass better hurry up or I'll-

" Katsuki-chan?" A delicate and sultry voice brought him back to reality. He spun around and nearly had a heart attack.

There she was. There Tomomi stood in a very pretty light pink floral mini dress. Her hair was wavy and both sides were tucked behind her ears with one white strand and one red strand left out to frame her heart shaped face.

The pearl necklace around her delicate neck rested easily on her collarbone, making her look so pretty. She looked extremely beautiful outside of school uniform and that made Bakugou nervous.

Which made him angry. "Y-YOU'RE LATE, FROST BITE!"

Tomomi blinked, looking at a nearby clock briefly. "I'm actually 3 minutes early."

"You know what I mean, dumbass!" He stuttered out. "Come on, lets just get this day over with."

"What are we going to do?" She asked quickly following him. To everyone else, she looked like a lost puppy.

Bakugou paused his walking. He didn't really think this through when he impulsively made the plan. He was beginning to think he should stop talking faster than his brain can think.

"Uh...." he mumbled, looking around himself. He smirked when he saw that same arcade he used to go to as a younger kid. "How about this? You beat me in any arcade game I choose and then I'll tell you my favorite food."

"Doesn't seem fair but anything to finish this project, right?" Tomomi said, shrugging. "I will take you up on that offer."

Bakugou scoffed in a cocky manner. There is no way this Frost Bite will ever be able to beat me in Need 4 Speed.

I can't believe Frost Bite was able to beat me in Need 4 Speed!!!! Bakugou sat there as the light screen declare Tomomi as the first place winner while he was left with second place. Tomomi never played the game before or have been to an arcade before so this win was a shocker. A huge shocker for the explosive boy.

The ice wielder sat there with a victorious smile while Bakugou was too shocked to react right away. "So are you ready to tell me?" she asked, looking to see he lost all color in his body. \

"W-W-WHAT?!" He finally yelled out, gaining everyone's attention. But he didn't care about that. He only cared about finding out how the fuck did she beat him at his own game?! She certainly didn't seem like the kind to be in arcades, much less play video games.

"HOW THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT, FROST BITE?!"

"I don't know, I only followed what you did." She admitted, she really had no clue how to play the game and only got it down so fast because she watched Bakugou play for the first couple of seconds before she began winning. "Did I do something wrong?"

Bakugou looked to see her give him puppy dog eyes. The sight was so cute, it even made some passerby people blush at the sight. "S-STOP THOSE SNEAK ATTACKS!!"

Confused, Tomomi tilted her head to the left. Why does he insist that she's attacking him in a sneaky manner? She added weird to the list of things she learned about Bakugou. What a weird boy....

"Ergh, a deal is a deal." He mumbled grumpily. "My favorite foods are anything spicy."

Tomomi chuckled a bit. Bakugou looked at her suspiciously, wondering why she was giggling so much. "What's so funny, dumbass?"

"I figured you liked spicy foods, I just wanted to make sure I was right," She revealed, making him freeze. Utterly perplexed by her revelation. Did....she just play him for a fool? That's not what just happened, was it?

"Lets play another game." She said, hopping out of the game seats. "Teach me how to play this game, Katsuki-chan."

"W-Wha-" Bakugou stuttered out, still being in shock. And you know what? he just sighed. He knew this girl for only a week and he was already exhausted with her and also intrigued with her. Very much intrigued.

"You're gonna want to hold it like this."

"I've never held a gun before, Katsuki-chan."

"Yeah, frost bite, I can see that."

Bakugou and Tomomi went over to a zombie shooting game. And a wager was made. For every game she wins against him, he will answer one of her questions and for every game he wins, she will answer one of his questions. No matter the personal level.

"Jeez, you icy idiot, you would have blown your own face off if I didn't help you out," Bakugou chuckled, causing her to blush a little. He had a very nice smile when he wasn't glaring at things and cursing at anyone. In fact, he was very physically attractive. She could see the reason he has so many admirers at school.

"Hey, you gonna stare at me all day or are you ready to lose?"

Tomomi shook off her thoughts, still blushing a little for thinking about him so carelessly. "Yes, let's begin."

"How are you so good at Arcade games but you've never been to one until today?"

After their competitive round of Arcade Games, Bakugou and Tomomi decided to walk through the shopping district. Bakugou was still mad at the fact that she won majority of the games. Never had he anticipated on her being surprisingly good at Street Fighter. And she kicked his ass using Cammy. Against his Ken. Either this girl is hiding the fact that she is a secret gamer or she's just a quick learner. He was willing to bet its the first choice.

"I'm just a fast learner." She said, smilling a closed eye smile at him. The very same one that made his heart skip a beat.

Bakugou felt his face grow hot as he turned away swiftly. Not wanting her to see the shyness only she seems to be able to bring out. And so effortlessly.

"Why don't I believe that?" He pressed on, walking with his hands behind his head. "You cannot be that sheltered."

"Believe it or not, some of us just are and some of us never really had a childhood." Tomomi revealed almost too casually or too emotionless.

Bakugou raised his eyebrow at her. Either this girl was the nicest girl in the world or she was very emotionally unattached to certain things. Whatever it was, she seemed too casual to bring up something like that. Of course, if it were him, he would have told her to fuck off and mind her business.

"What do you mean by that?"

"I've said too much already." She quickly shot down. "I'm sorry, I don't want to ruin this day."

"hmm....." Bakugou hummed, giving her one last suspicious glare. "Fine, but one day, I'm finding out."

"I wish you luck." Tomomi replied, humor lacing her voice. Bakugou couldn't help the small grin on his lips that unapologetically formed on his lips. Tomomi suddenly stopped at hair clip stand towards a big fountain, completely enamored by the items. Bakugou almost walked away from her had he not noticed her sudden interest.

"What the hell? Why'd you stop walking-" He stopped once he noticed her staring at a hair clip. She was staring at a shiny looking one that had a big snowflake centerpiece, encrusted in icy blue diamonds. He had to admit, it did look pretty cool.

"Do you want that or something?" He asked, interrupting her staring. Tomomi snapped out of her daze, not noticing that she was just standing there and staring at the inanimate object.

"Ah.....My apologies, let's go." She replied, smiling again before walking ahead of him. Bakugou stayed behind, looking at the hair clip and then looking at her again. It seemed like she really wanted that hair clip. Why does she always dismiss herself like that? It annoyed him to no end.

"Whatever." He scoffed, walking to catch up to her. Pushing the aching feeling in him away the farther away they walked away from the hair clip stand. But not before he gave it one last look.

Unbeknownst to the two first year students, a tall figure wearing a dark hoodie watched them from afar. More specifically, he was watching Tomomi. He watched her as she gave an ice cream cone to that ash blonde kid and then giggled when he hurt his teeth for biting into it.

She grew up. That was for sure. She still had some years to grow but she was growing before his eyes. Of all the people in his family, he could never hate Tomomi. And he doesn't, to this day. No matter how he felt about the others, Tomomi will always hold that part of his dead heart. And he didn't know if that was a good thing or not.

"You know, they say pirates face the direction that is most familiar to them." A voice interrupted his thoughts. "Missing someone, buddy?"

"Ermmm....." He grumbled, keeping his eyes on Tomomi. "Mind your damn business,"

With that, he walked the opposite direction. His friend chuckled deeply, looking at the same person he was before following him.

You're one complex man, Dabi.
