This is still a Bakugou fic, you know

Don't be a ghost reader. I love

happy reading!

this will be a relatively short
chapter since this is just a filler
before the main plot starts.

ย  ย  ย ย  "How are you feeling, Miss Todoroki?"

ย ย  Tomomi sat in a luxury looking office room, where it smelled like fresh lemons and the decorations were rather gothic and old styled. But this was considered the best children's psychiatrist in the city so it would have to do.

ย ย  It has been about Four weeks since everything that happened to Tomomi and most of her time was spent in a courtroom.

ย ย  When those photos were posted for the world to see it, Enji Todoroki immediately wanted to sue the news outlet that first posted it, seeing as they were the source of the incriminating photos being spread all over. And because Tomomi was a victim, she had to be there with her family.

ย ย  Not the best way to spend your after school time in but now that was settled and her family won the case, she could relax from that now. But right after that, Fuyumi pressured Tomomi into considering going to therapy. To which, she declined. But after a few tries and Shoto pleading with her to consider it, she decided to go through with it.

ย ย  The first two days were rough. She didn't want to talk to Mrs. Saiki, her therapist, so conversations were one sided.

ย ย  The other two days, she barely uttered a word to her but Mrs. Saiki was patient with her, nonetheless.

ย ย  And today, it was friday and suddenly, Tomomi felt comfortable enough to talk about herself to her.

ย ย  "I don't know, I've been better as time went on." Tomomi sighed, sighing as she crossed her legs. She said on a big and plush black couch while Mrs. Saiki sat in a love seat across from her.

ย ย  A black marble coffee table separated them.

ย ย  "But then when I think I'm going to be okay, something always messes this up so....There's that."

ย ย  "That's a nice outfit. Chanel?" She asked, pointing her pen at her outfit.

ย ย  Tomomi hummed, crossing her arms and leaning her back onto the couch even further. Her foot swinging just a little. " Chanel Summer Collection 2019. Right off the runway."

ย ย  "I see." Mrs. Saiki mumbled, writing something down on her notepad. "When did you get it?"

ย ย  "Last week." Tomomi answered blandly, already bored.

ย ย  "Miss Todoroki, do you think you use shopping as a way to ignore your pain?" Mrs. Saiki asked, setting her pen down. "I notice you tend to try to keep yourself busy to ignore the things you've been through or even to nullify the pain you feel."

ย ย  "It's either that or cry myself into oblivion and I have school to worry about." Tomomi replied, chuckling humorlessly. "I mean....I know someday I am going to have to deal with it but....I guess I'm scared of how that will turn out."

ย ย  "Hmm.." Mrs. Saiki hummed, sympathetically. It was quite obvious that everything has been getting too rough for her and she was glad to see that Tomomi was slowly allowing herself to heal but she knew it will be a tough road for her. "You ever think about volunteering somewhere? Perhaps a kindergarten class? I'm sure they would be happy to have you. You can use that to keep yourself busy."

ย ย  "I never thought about that." Tomomi confessed, thinking it over. "But what good will that do?"

ย ย  "It could help you keep calm and a clear head." Mrs. Saiki suggested. "Instead of shopping too much, why not do something you're really good at? And it doesn't have to stay at just that. There's painting, yoga, maybe even writing. Just healthier ways of dealing with your PTSD."

ย  ย  Tomomi could tell she meant well. She really did. And as much as she didn't want to admit it, she did have a tendency of dealing with things the wrong way. Especially with her emotions. Maybe she could go throught these routes.

ย ย  "Just a thought." Mrs. Saiki said, before pulling out a business card from her blazer pocket. "Here. This is the numberย  and address to Full Moon Kindergarten school. I can put in a good word for you and they would be happy to have you help some of the teacher's classes. But it's entirely your decision and you're not on a time limit. If you consider it, call me whenever."

ย ย  Tomomi took the card and examined it. She thought about it as she looked over the silly design on the white card. If she went through this, she would have to start cutting her time at the Bird Observatory with Tokoyami but then that would mean he would be getting a lot of her work. Making him work double time and she didn't want to do that to him.

ย ย  But she did like kids, so she decided to just think about it.

ย ย  "Okay, I'll think about it."

ย ย  Mrs. Saiki smiled at her kindly. "Remember, any time you want. I want to help you get better, Miss Todoroki,"

ย  ย  ย  "So how was today's session?" Fuyumi asked, hopefully as she stopped at a stop light.

ย ย  Tomomi leaned on the passenger seat, looking out at the traffic as they made their way to her family home. She skipped school in favor of this therapy so she didn't have to go back to the dormitory right away.

ย  "Same thing, different day." Tomomi replied. "Instead of going home, can you just drop me off at the Dorms? I just want to sleep now and Shoto should be there, now."

ย ย  "Actually, we got to get home." Fuyumi said, her tone of voice sounding too cautious for her liking.

ย ย  Tomomi looked at her suspiciously. She felt like she was about to drop a bomb on her. "Why?"

ย  ย  Fuyumi nervously fiddled her thumbs as she continued to drive towards their manor. "Um....Dad wants you to meet someone before you go back to school."

ย ย  "Who?" Tomomi scrunched her face up. What the hell is that man planning? And why is Fuyumi acting very nervously?

ย ย  "You'll see...."

ย  ย  If this moment was a bomb, it would be a nuclear one. Because as soon as they got home, Tomomi was met with two very unfamiliar faces in the main living room. And there was their father. Sitting across the way from his guests on the other couch that faced the other.

ย ย  "Ah, Tomomi!" Enji suddenly noticed his two daughters have now entered.

ย ย  Tomomi frowned as Fuyumi closed the door behind her. She looked at her father and then at the two individuals.

ย ย  Both had jet black hair and black suits on. But they were obviously father and son. The second one looked about her age, tallish and very handsome. He looked right at Tomomi before blushing and shyly looking away.

ย  ย  "What's going on?" She asked, feeling Fuyumi stand right next to her.

ย  ย  "Ummm....."Fuyumi stumbled on her words as she could practically feel her sister grow colder with confusion. "Tomomi...this is Mr. Akio Tsukumo and his son, Akira Tsukumo....They're here to meet you."

ย ย  "Why?" She questioned again, looking at her older sister with a displeased frown.

ย ย  But before she could tell her, Enji spoke up before she could.

ย  "We are in talks of a quirk marriage." He spoked, being brutally honest to her.

ย ย  "Quirk marriage?" Tomomi repeated incredulously. "Are you serious?"

ย ย  "Tomomi, what dad means is that he just wants you to think it over." Fuyumi tried to lighten the situation, seeing as her dad was too honest for his own good. "No one is saying that you have to go through with it-"

ย  "But you're planing it behind my back." Tomomi interrupted her, anger filling her veins. "You knew about this and you want me to go through with it? Are you serious?"

ย ย  "I don't want you to go through with this." Fuyumi quickly whispered to her. "But you know how stubborn dad is, he doesn't like listening to everyone."

ย ย  Tomomi scoffed, shaking her head before she faced the two guests. "I am deeply sorry that you traveled this far but there will be no marriage."

ย ย  "Tomomi-" Enji tried to stop her but she didn't let him speak as she suddenly made her way to her old bed room, without looking back.

ย ย  "Tomo-" Fuyumi tried but was met with a door slamming noise, leaving them in silence.

ย ย  With a nervous smile, Fuyumi bowed to the guest. "I'm so sorry about that, I'll go talk to her."

ย  ย  As she left towards her sister's old room, she felt herself sigh loudly and tiredly. She felt guilty for wanting her to at least meet the boy but she quickly realized how detrimental that is and after everything, Tomomi didn't need this.

ย ย  She hated how stubborn her father was.

ย  ย  You're only driving her further away, dad.....
