Her mother remarried when she was seven, and when Cassie was eight, her baby sister Ellie was born. Cassie doted on Ellie, always carrying the baby around as if she were her own. Ellie is what she'll miss the most when Cassie moves to New York, but has promised to always be there for video calls on Sunday nights.

His mother died when he was a child, and his memories of her are starting to fade; sometimes he doesn't know which are real and which are of his imagination. In the early stages of dealing with his grief, Sam got into trouble a lot, but has since straightened out, due in part to attending Camp Hackett as a teen. During high school, his grades improved immensely, showing that he wasn't just a pretty face. His dad drinks a bit, but is never aggressive. John tried his best to nurture his son in his own way, some of it backfiring, but they have a good relationship now.

If you have a role that isn't a canon role, feel free to share it! I recommend also having a back-up role as well, just in case somebody also auditions for that role, or the role doesn't fit with the story progression.
