Benny went to pick up Tatum that morning. He felt like he was sweating bullets as he pulled up outside of her home before waiting a little for her to come out — after a couple minutes he honked the horn as there was no sign of the blonde teen. "I'm coming! God!" Tatum suddenly yelled as she stepped out of her home — she loved being fashionably late to school whereas Benny did not. Tatum opened the passenger side and got into the car, she was surprised by how clean the interior was. Throwing her bag in the back seat, Benny drove off as Tatum tried putting her seatbelt on.

"Jeez, what's the rush?" Tatum asked as Benny looked panicked, "I know academics might not be that important to you but they are to me — so I'd really prefer to not be late." He spoke quickly which made Tatum raise her brows and put her hands up in mock surrender, "Okay smarty pants." Soon enough Benny pulled into the school parking lot and quickly got out of the car, Tatum also getting out as well. Benny slung his bag over his shoulder and waited for Tatum to get her things, she closed the door and looked at Benny with a raised brow, "Why're you standing there?" Benny shrugged, "If we're supposed to be dating then I should be nice and wait for you." Tatum chuckled, "Oh Benny, fake dating remember?" She walked away not before patting his cheek — Benny nodded as he watched her walk away, he sighed, "Yep, fake dating."

Lunch time came around and the group all sat at the large fountain in the courtyard. Benny and Tatum had yet to show up — Sidney gave a dirty look at Stu from her place next to Billy. Randy walked over, "So, Stuart, everyone's been talking about how Tatum Torranced your door and caught you," Randy raised his brows suggestively, "in the act." Stu scoffed, "Shut up dickweed." Randy sat down and gave a smile to Sidney which she shyly returned — Billy wrapped an arm around her. "So you aren't gonna deny it." Randy laughed and Stu couldn't help but get the urge to punch him — "I said—what the fuck?" Stu was distracted by the fact that Benny had an — awkward — arm around Tatum's waist as the two walked over. Sidney couldn't help but hide a smile as Randy furrowed his brows. Billy didn't care enough to look at the two. Benny sat down on the fountain and Tatum quickly sat on his lap — both of them stiff and awkward.

Stu's blood was boiling with anger. "So, when did this happen?" He questioned and Tatum rolled her eyes, "None of your business." She responded swiftly. Benny didn't know what to do with his hands as Tatum wrapped an arm around his neck and leaned in close. "I hate Stu but I'm just as confused as him." Randy chimed in. Tatum didn't pay him any mind as Sidney spoke, "I think you two are cute together." Her words made Benny blush, Tatum just smiled. "Of all people you pick Benny. You're not gonna win me back Tatum." Stu tried to sound confident but he just sounded threatened. "Oh, yeah right. Me and Benny are already getting along great." Tatum said as she absentmindedly played with Benny's hair. "Pft, there's zero chemistry." Stu kept his eyes on Tatum.

"Well, we have plenty of chemistry. In fact, Benny invited me over tonight for a movie date." Tatum looked down at the teen and he was zoned out, "Isn't that right Benny?" He looked at her, "Huh?" Tatum gritted her teeth, "That you invited me over tonight." He quirked his brow. "I did?" Tatum smacked his arm, "I did!" He exclaimed before looking at Stu. "She's gonna spend the night with me." Tatum's eye twitched but she couldn't react, knowing that Stu was already suspicious enough. "Fine. If you two lovebirds say so." He got up and walked away. Randy sighed exasperatedly, "Mom's gonna be surprised about a girl sleeping over." Benny smacked his brother upside the head, "Shut up."
