Let's recap, eh?

Well... a long recap.

Sir Reginald Hargreeves, an eccentric billionaire and our "lovely" father, has adopted 8 children in his home and called us the Umbrella Academy.

Number One, Luther, has the power of superhuman strength and has a body of a monkey. He has daddy issues and was even sent to the Moon for a "mission."

Number Two, Diego, a vigilante who has the power to manipulate the directions of bullets or knives or maybe any other things. He loves our robot mom so much and had two ex-girlfriends.

Number Three, Allison, an actress who has the power to manipulate anyone with the words "I heard a rumor..." which is a bit scary. She's like a mother to us too and I'm not surprised since she's literally a mother to one child. Too bad she can't see or visit her.

Number Four, Klaus, a drug addict who has the power to summon ghosts and even commune with them. He's one of my favorite brothers. He had a lover named Dave, who I think I met in the 1960s. Did I already mention Klaus is still pretty cool and funny even if he's high? No? Well, now you know.

Number Five, The Boy, an old little man, who got stuck in an apocalyptic future when his time travel gone wrong. He can spatial jump and be a pain in the ass. He got stuck in his 16-year-old body when he came back to 2019. He's an asshole most of the time but he can be sweet when he wants to. I never considered him as a brother, though.

Number Six, Ben, my dead brother who had the power to release some monstrous tentacles from his chest. He didn't really like his powers but I think it's pretty useful. I love him and I miss him.

Number Seven, Viktor, my best friend and my shy brother who was said to be normal and powerless but turns out, he has powers and he's a ticking time bomb. He was the cause of two apocalypses but I still love him.

And me, Number Eight, (Y/n), who's supposed to be the youngest because I came to the Academy late even though we have the same ages. I have the power to move things with my mind, blast psionic energy, and can even read or see someone's thoughts whether it's intentional or not.

I never really considered them as my family before but still called them as my brothers and sister. All except for Five. We weren't siblings by blood so it never felt a family until I realized when I grew older that they're still my family even if we're not related.

We were superheroes but abandoned that occupation when we grew older. We went on our separate ways: Luther was on the Moon but still working for Dad, Diego was a vigilante, Allison was an actress, Klaus became a drug addict, Five got stuck in an apocalyptic future and grew old there with a fucking mannequin, Ben was dead but he became a ghost that follows Klaus around, and Viktor wrote a book about us, his family, and worked as a violinist in the third chair.

And then there's me. I tried to live normally and even attending college. I had a job, a stable apartment, a goofy roommate, and a boyfriend but eventually we broke up. Until one night, Dad stole me from my own apartment and experimented on me. He was trying to reduce my powers since he knew they were dangerous. When the experiment failed, my powers grew a lot stronger and somehow my body turned back into a 15-year-old. Then he decided to freeze me until he died.

As I said earlier, Viktor caused an apocalypse in 2019 which we tried to stop from happening even if the Commission were trying to stop us like Hazel, Cha-Cha, and the Handler. I was knocked out by Luther in 2019 and wasn't in the place when my siblings are trying to stop Viktor.

Turns out, Lila, a crazy lady who works for the Commission and Diego's then ex-girlfriend, stole me away from my family and sent me to the 1960s to die.

She said her mission is to kill me once we arrived in the 1960s but she didn't. Her plan backfired when Nicholas Russell found me and we stayed at Elliott Gussman's home. I lost my real memories and was replaced by fake ones where I have a normal family.

Luther hitting me in the head was the last straw that had to be done to lose my memories. I have a pretty fucked up brain: sometimes I remember, sometimes I forget. The main cause was the Allison used her powers against me to make me forget about killing men by Dad's orders. Some couple they are.

What I didn't know is that my siblings also landed in the 1960s but were scattered in Dallas but in different years. Five managed to find me but I saw in his eyes that he was in pain when he found out I couldn't remember him. So, determined to make me remember, he slowly told me what happened in the past to recover my lost memories.

While doing so, I helped Five, even though I had no clue of what was going on, to find the rest of our siblings and gather them again to stop the upcoming apocalypse which, spoiler alert, was caused again by Viktor.

Viktor lost his memories too and perhaps when he remembered, he caused the apocalypse. He also used to live in a farm with a woman named Sissy. They were really in love. Too bad the woman has a family. The husband's an asshole, though.

Ben was around with Klaus and I was glad I got to hear him, even if it's just in his thoughts before he was completely gone.

Klaus became a cult leader. Not a surprise, really. And he tried to stop Dave from joining the army but failed and because of his interference, Dave joined the army too early.

Allison got married to a man named Raymond "Ray" Chestnut and I think it's great that she finally found love again. Sadly, they had to part because Allison belongs to stay in 2019. She, with her husband, joined a group of black people to fight for their rights. Pretty tough thing to do and I admire her and the others for standing up for their rights.

Diego got sent to a mental institution for spying on Lee Harvey Oswald to prevent him from killing President John F. Kennedy. He also met Lila in the mental institution and even got to be offered a job for a while in the Commission.

Luther worked for Jack Ruby for a while in competitions and somehow saw Jack Ruby as a father figure to him and Jack saw Luther as his son. Too bad they have to break up. Hold on, that sounds like they were in a relationshi—

Elliott was a great man and became like a father figure to me and Nico even though I'm like 30 years old. I was devasted when he died and almost killed Five. Thinking about it makes me want to kill myself.

Nico. He was just a young man when I saw him and didn't know who he was until I finally remembered. He was my grandfather. I met my grandfather and even considered him like a brother to me. I'm glad I had a bit of closure with him. And how come he didn't tell me he was that good-looking when he was young?

We managed to stop the apocalypse but my siblings were wanted while Five and I were rumored to be taken hostages by our own siblings. I finally opened the door in my mind and remember my memories with the help of Five. And then we fought the Commission and Lila herself. It was revealed that she has the power of mimicry which means she can mimic our powers.

Although she did copy my powers, it wasn't as strong as mine now that I realized it.

Anyway, we finally had a way to go back to 2019. We time traveled on April 2, 2019: the day after the apocalypse. It seemed pretty normal and... different. I could already feel it. And from the moment I saw Ben's portrait instead of Five, I knew we did something wrong.

Reginald Hargreeves was alive.

There are more people in the house with a mysterious cube beside them. And Ben was alive lookin' like an asshole. They called themselves the "Sparrow Academy."

Well, shit.

Now that you have your long recap, I might have to reschedule a date because I'm gonna be quite busy with my family and Five to prevent any apocalypses again. See you soon—ciao!
