When you ran into the Oasis Spa, you discovered Diego holding a knife to Sloane's neck and Sloane using her powers to lift Luther down after using them previously to choke him and elevate him. "Diego..." You spoke calmly as you approached him and Sloane with caution. "Take it easy."
"Hush, (Y/n)," Diego replied with his blade still pressed against Sloane's throat.
"Diego, you can let her go now," Luther told Diego.
"What?" Diego questioned as he stared at his brother. "Are you kidding me?"
"I said let her go. She's hurt."
"She is the enemy."
"She doesn't seem that hostile, Diego, come on." Sloane offered you a hopeful look after hearing you attempting to reason with Diego.
Diego's insensitivity caused Luther to get irate and impatient. "If you hurt her, I will bury you." He threatened.
Allison stepped in from the other entrance and glared at Luther. "You gonna bury me too, Luther?!" She questioned angrily.
After giving her a brief moment of attention, Luther turned his gaze to Sloane. "Just..." He panted, nervous about what his siblings will do to his lover. "Just let me talk to her. Okay? Please." He pleaded.
As Sloane glanced at Allison, who was giving her a chilly stare, her eyes began to well up with tears. "Trust me," Allison stated. "She's gonna talk."
After holding Sloane for a while, Diego grudgingly let go of her and sat next to Allison in one of the tubs. Sloane was still in her spot right by the wall, trembling and whimpering in terror, while you stood there and crossed your arms. You feel awful for her, and Luther's concern for her is evident to you.
"I heard a rumor..." Allison began using her power and ignored Luther's protests. "...you're gonna tell me the truth."
"Let her do her thing, man," Diego told Luther.
Sloane's eyes went white, but despite her best attempts, she was unable to maintain her straight face. Allison leaned forward. "Where's the briefcase?" She questioned.
Sloane managed to resist her for a little while, which surprised Allison just a little bit as you could hear Sloane's soft whimpers. Allison grew impatient. "Tell me." She hissed. "Where is it?" Allison stood up as Sloane refused to back down and respond to her question. "Where the hell... is it?"
"I don't know!" Sloane blurted out loudly.
"Allison!" Luther exclaimed in an effort to prevent Allison from using her powers anymore.
"We left it in your house, and it is our only way out of this!" Allison yelled as she stepped closer to Sloane. "Where is it?!"
"Allison!" You scolded when you saw blood trickling from Sloane's nose.
Luther pushed Allison away. "That's enough!" Allison's torturing of Sloane came to a stop when he cried out. Sloane recoiled to your touch when you swiftly came to her aid, and her eyes landed on you. "Hey, it's okay." You soothed as you felt her hands holding your arms for support.
You attempted to read her mind as you tried to determine if she was telling the truth by gazing into her eyes. You sighed as you confirmed that she was indeed telling the truth.
Diego sighed as he placed his knife back. "You better ask yourself which side you on, bro."
"Would you just get the hell out of here?!" Luther exclaimed to Diego in annoyance.
Diego immediately got to his feet and turned to confront Luther. "Gonna tell me what to do?"
"Hey!" You yelled at Diego and Luther. "If you two start fighting now, I swear to God I will stab you both with a plunger!"
"All of you, just get out!" Allison shouted before pointing a finger at Luther. "She doesn't leave your sight. Do you understand? This isn't over."
You were focused on Allison as Luther scooped Sloane in his arms and led Diego out of the spa room. Allison landed her eyes on you. "Leave, (Y/n)." You walked out of the room without saying anything and waited outside the door for Allison. You were eager to speak with her.
To your surprise, you heard Allison muttering the words, "I heard a rumor... that you were... happy." But she groaned and hesitated so you came to a realization she was using her powers to herself. You flinched when you heard a mirror shattering.
After a little while, Allison saw you leaning against the wall and you noticed her heading out of the spa room. "What are you still doing here?" Allison asked.
"I can't leave knowing that you're not okay." You spoke as you cast a quick glance at Allison's new hairstyle and her wounded knuckles. "You know you can talk to me. And I'm always here for you. I can help you get through your pain."
Allison stifled a chuckle as she looked away. "Can't really take you seriously right now because all I can see is a child."
You frowned. You couldn't tell where her attitude was coming from. "Come on, Allison." You said. "My physical appearance has nothing to do with my ability to listen, okay?"
As she turned to face you, Allison huffed and slipped her hands into her pockets. "What about you, huh?"
You furrowed your eyebrows. "What about me?"
"Pretending everything's okay, but in reality, you're sucking up the pain. Don't even think that I'd never noticed the hopeless and miserable look you wore while drinking."
You shook your head. "This isn't about me, Allison. But, I do understand the pain you are feeling. And I'm not here to tell you to suck up your pain—"
"You can't possibly understand, (Y/n)," Allison argued, surprising you from how fierce she sounded. "Do you know what it feels like? To lose someone who you have been expecting to see in this timeline? No, you don't."
You managed to maintain your emotions in check despite having your heart pierced by her remarks. "I'm going to let this slide, Allison because I know you're in a lot of pain."
"You have never had a husband nor a child, (Y/n). Of course, you don't understand." You are now standing alone after Allison left. You immediately wiped away the tear that had just started to fall down your cheek.
You hurriedly closed your eyes as you became aware of small, dark roots sprouting all around your hands. The darker side of your powers was no longer something you wanted to use. It was too dangerous. You took a deep breath out when you were able to calm yourself. "You know nothing." You whispered before leaving and going to your room.

Lila and Five were able to return to the Commission to seek explanations for what was taking place and ways to put an end to the paradox. A briefcase was attempted to be used, but it was damaged. They were forced to cooperate earlier in order to assist with and work on the briefcase, and they eventually found themselves in the snow-covered and abandoned Commission. When they arrived, the location was in utter disarray, and no employees were present. "Holy shit." Lila gasped. "I was just here. How long was I bloody gone?"
"It seems the grandfather paradox is affecting everything." Five stated as he laid the briefcase down near the staircase and adjusted his watch. "Even places out of time."
"Is that possible?" Lila asked.
Five sighed. "I stopped tracking what was possible a long time ago." He replied as he picked the briefcase up again. A few bits of debris suddenly fell in front of Five and Lila, making the two of them flinch. "We better get moving. I'll check the Infinite Switchboard."
"And I'll check Herb's office," Lila said. "Little cockroach would survive anything." Lila started walking away but stopped for a second when she saw Five walking up the stairs. "Bye!"
"See ya."
"Miss you!"
"That's weird."
When Five arrived at the Infinite Switchboard, he took a tour of the facility. Many monitors were shattered, and many windows were broken. Chairs were left laying on the ground and tFive was dismayed to find that there were no indications of life. "Okay." He breathed out.
When he saw a monitor that was still operational, Five quickly set the briefcase on the ground. He cleared the snow off the screen and started pressing buttons. "Okay. That's good." Herb appeared on the screen after he cranked a knob to forward the footage.
"There's been a rip on the space-time continuum. It's swallowing everything." Herb explained. "Oh, my sweet Dot, Iris, Josh from accounting, they're all gone."
Five sped up the footage to look for more answers. "I've tried everything!" Herb exclaimed in the footage. "I don't know what else to do. The timeline is collapsing." Five heard Herb yelping when the building began to tremble and the lights began to flicker. The background was filled with screams, too. "This is... the end." Herb finished before screaming loudly when he disintegrated.
In addition to being disappointed that he could not find any solutions, Five was also upset to see Herb had passed away. After a while, he heard footsteps behind him. "I could kill for some scrambled eggs right now," Lila expressed.
"This is bigger than the timeline, Lila." Five stated.
"What's bigger than the timeline?" Lila asked.
"The entire universe."
"Yeah."
"The missing animals, people..." Five sighed. "It's the opposite of the big bang. Instead of the universe expanding, it's now collapsing in on itself." He explained.
Lila nodded in understanding. "Like a prolapsing rectum."
Five scrunched his nose in disgust as he blinked his eyes at Lila. "That's a weird analogy, but yeah."
Lila smiled before pulling out the book she found from the office. "Here, then. This might give us some answers." She handed the book to Five.
Five took it and looked at its cover. "Master handbook."
"The one and only."
While Lila waited and played with her three pencils, Five started to look over the manual. "Here we are." Five exclaimed and started reading what he found in the handbook. "Okay, protocol. In the unlikely case of the grandfather paradox, the founder and any essential personnel should—"
Lila walked over to Five and used one of her pencils to continue reading. "...be immediately remanded to the operations bunker." She thought for a moment. "The founder. What founder?"
"I don't know." Five answered. When yet another set of falling debris came down, the two jumped away. Five sighed. "We need to find that bunker..."
"ASAP." The two said in unison.
Lila smiled. "Jinx." She whispered and watched Five walking away. "A-B-C-1-2-3, personal padlock."
"Can you not—"
"You can't speak!"

Long-haired Allison was tolerable in season 3. When she cut her hair, everything went down to shit.
And no, I don't mean to imply that changing her hairdo led to a shift in her attitude or behavior.
p.s. yes, I did read the heartwarming messages in the final chapter. I'm a little shy, so I can't really respond :') but know that I love you all more 🤍🤍🤍
