Chapter Thirteen

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

The next day, in the study, Sabrina is sitting behind the desk, on her iBook g3 laptop.

{Sabrina's Outfit}

She's on the internet browser, googling "vampire covens", on the internet browser website.

Rebekah walks inside and greets her favorite sister-in-law. "Hello, Sabrina. Another supernatural folklore assignment from David Talbot?"

"Nope, I'm just internet browsing stuff." Sabrina replied.

Rebekah looks at the mug of cranberry juice on the desk. "Cranberry juice?"

"And some blood." Sabrina said, taking a sip of her cranberry juice laced with blood.

"How are you really?" Rebekah asked her sister-in-law. "With the ripper addict thing?"

"It sucks." Sabrina replied, which both her and Rebekah exchange soft chuckles with each other. "But Klaus and I talked about it, and we have it settled."

"You know, my family has blood on our hands. But you do not. Both Nik and Elijah wants to keep your hands clean. Rebekah said. "Your heart is pure, Sabrina. I'm envious of that."

"Yeah." Sabrina said, gently resting her cheek on her hand. "But everything that I've done. The feedings. The blood."

"You are not a monster, Sabrina, you never was. You know my family has done many misdeeds, but you, Sabrina, you're a good Mikaelson. Always has been." Rebekah said.

Rebekah and Sabrina exchange small smiles at each other. Sabrina's phone buzzes in her jeans pocket. She pulls out her phone and looks at it.

Will Kinney

Sabrina answers her phone. "Hi, Will."

"Hi, Sabrina. We need to talk at the NOLA Department." Will Kinney said on the phone.

"Okay, I'm on my way." Sabrina said, and hangs up her phone.

"Was that Will Kinney?" Rebekah asked. "What did he want?"

"He said we needed to talk at the NOLA Department." Sabrina told her.

Rebekah becomes worried. Which Sabrina notices.

"I'm sure it's nothing to worry about." Sabrina said, gently closing her laptop, putting in her blue canvas backpack and drinks the rest of her mug of cranberry juice laced with blood. "I'll be back."

And Sabrina gets up and walks away.

NOLA DEPARTMENT

Later on that day, In the interrogation room, Sabrina is sitting behind the table. Detective Will Kinney is sitting across from her with a file folder.

"Sabrina? I have something." Will Kinney said to her, opening the file folder with a picture of two mauled dead bodies laying on the floor of the Whiskey Cask Bar. "Were you at the Whiskey Cask Bar that night?"

And before Sabrina can answer, Special Agent Lana Cooper opens the door, and slowly walks inside.

"Will? What are you doing?" Lana asked Special Agent partner.

"I'm just asking Sabrina a question." Will Kinney told Lana.

Will Kinney and Sabrina exchange looks at each other. Will Kinney gets up and walks over to Lana.

"Lana? I understand your need to protect your daughter." Will Kinney said.

"My daughter didn't have any self control over herself when she fed on those two persons at the Whiskey Cask Bar. The blood red moon had her. She didn't know what she was doing." Lana Cooper said to Will Kinney.

"Mom? I can speak for myself." Sabrina said to her Mom.

"I need a minute with my daughter, please?" Lana said to Detective Will Kinney.

Will Kinney nodded and walks away. Lana closes the door and walks over to her daughter, Sabrina, and sits down at the interrogation table across from her.

"Sabrina? You know there's a supernatural penitentiary in New Orleans. Evil, twisted supernatural vampires, werewolves, witches. And I don't want you to go there." Lana told Sabrina.

"But Mom? I've done things that I'm not okay with." Sabrina said to her.

"Sabrina? You're talking about confessing. I understand that you want to do the right thing. And I admire your mortality. I really do. You get it from me." Lana Cooper said. She and Sabrina exchange soft chuckles with each other. "But please, Sabrina, don't do this."

"Mom?" Sabrina said.

"Sabrina?" Lana said with a serious look expression on her face.

"Okay." Sabrina said.

Lana and Sabrina gently holds each other's hands on the table.

ROUSSEAU'S

That late afternoon, Klaus and Sabrina are sitting at a table with their drinks of bourbon.

"Lana told me what Will Kinney wanted to talk to you about at the NOLA Department." Klaus said to her.

"Sure she did." Sabrina said with a small smile with her hand gently resting on her cheek.

"Elijah and I will do everything we can to make sure you don't end up like us Mikaelson's. With blood on your hands." Klaus said to her.

"Why are you and Elijah so determined to keep my hands clean and my soul pure?" Sabrina asked her husband.

"Because of the Mikaelson reputation." Klaus said to her. "The second we met, I knew you had a pure light to you. And I, not Elijah, nor Kol, Rebekah and Freya want the Mikaelson reputation to rub off on you. And we don't want the Mikaelson darkness to dim your light."

"I get it. I really do." Sabrina said, takes a sip of her bourbon. "And I love you anyway."

Klaus and Sabrina exchange small smiles at each other.

"Are you gonna be okay?" Sabrina asked her husband, Klaus, concerned.

"I'll be fine, Love." Klaus reassured her with a small smile.

Klaus and Sabrina exchange small smiles at each other and they share a passionate kiss.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

That evening, in the courtyard, Sabrina is sitting in a sofa chair, internet browsing "vampire covens", "werewolf packs" and "witch covens" on her iBook g3 laptop.

"Hey, Sabrina." Jesse greeted her.

"Hey, Jess." Sabrina greeted her back.

"What are you up to?" Jesse asked, sitting down in a sofa chair beside Sabrina's.

"Nothing much, just internet browsing." Sabrina replied. "How are you? And how's Slater?"

"I'm fine, Slater's fine. And Slater and I have an old theater to proceed with my supernatural drama club thing." Jesse said to her.

"Oh, really? You want to continue with the supernatural drama club?" Sabrina asked Jesse.

"Yeah." Jesse said. "How about you? Do you still want to do the supernatural drama club?"

Sabrina ponders to herself, remembering her first time with her supernatural drama performance.

"Okay, sure. I still want to do the supernatural drama club." Sabrina replied.

Jesse and Sabrina exchange small smiles at each other.
