Jessie and Aquarella screamed in pain, falling to their knees and holding their heads. "Turn it off!" Rella screamed. Shuri immediately apologized and switched the sonic emitters off. "Sorry," Shuri reached out her hand and helped Rella to her feet. "At least we know it works," Riri said, helped Jessie up who leaned against the railing with a groan. Noting the annoyed expression from the two sirens her eyes widened slightly, "My bad."
"Okay, let's just tune it down a bit so it doesn't blow out their eardrums." Rella shook it off and walked towards the machine, turning the power down. "Did you give a heads up to my mom? Just so there's no sirens in the area when the emitters on." Aquarella said, scratching her wrists as she sat down on the stairs. "Yeah, I let her know. Have you talked to her lately?" Shuri asked, taking a seat next to Rella on the stairs.
"Not since that day." Rella mumbled and Shuri noticed the sadness on her face. Rella shook her head lightly, "Anyways. What time do we leave?" Rella asked, quickly changing the subject.
"In about two hours."
"Jess, can you help me with my corset?" Rella stood up and he nodded, turning away from Riri to look at his bestie. "Sure thing, Rells." Jessie took her hand and led her up the stairs.
Riri sat down next to Shuri, both waiting till the two sirens left before they talked. "Hey, ya know, since you're like sharing a room with Rella. Does she ever...ya know...talk about me?" Riri asked, not noticing the shock on Shuri's face when she comprehended what Riri just said. "Uhh well, not really. But then again we don't talk much unless it's about business. Why?"
Riri chuckled nervously, scratching the back of her neck, contemplating whether she should tell Shuri the truth. "I guess, I kinda like her. She's nice to me, she compliments me and my work and she's overall like super super attractive. It's just a little crush, ya know? But I don't wanna give my hopes up if she's not interested. She probably only fucks with other sirens or something. Jessie said there's a small percent chance that she would ever date an American." Riri rambled, an adorable smile of her face as she spoke about Rella.
Shuri couldn't even be jealous at that. Riri was crushing on Aquarella and Shuri was sure she'd get over it soon. Aquarella wouldn't be around as much after the battle so Riri would get over it in known time. "I feel like maybe you shouldn't give your hopes up about this. She's gonna be busy ruling a nation after this is all over so I doubt she will have time for anyone. And you're very young, there's plenty of other women I'm sure would love to be with you." Shuri gave Riri a reassuring smile.
"Yeah, maybe you right. She's just so fine like damn." Riri threw her head back for extra dramatics and Shuri laughed at that. "You got a point there," Shuri agreed.
"Oh I know I do. Have you seen that ass?" Riri deadpanned.
Shuri licked her lips with a grin, her mind flashing back to the first night Rella stayed over. "I did, definitely. She's very attractive.'"
"Aye, if I can't bag her. I'm sure you can. Jessie did say she had a thing for people she hated." Riri said as Shuri chuckled, shaking her head at Riri. "All right, you're gettin' a bit ahead of yourself."
"Oh come on, you know it's true!" Riri exclaimed.

Aquarella stood on the ship next to Jessie, waiting for the Talokanils to arrive. She noticed that the ship was no longer invisible so that signaled that they were here. She still found herself amazed by Wakanda's technology. Jessie held a spear in his hand, a bit too energetic about the whole encounter.
The Talokanils rushed to the surface, telling them that the machine Aquarella helped make was working. Shuri walked up to the front of the ship, in her Black Panther suit.
"Yibambe!" Everyone chanted.
One of their aircrafts shot at the Talokanils, all of which they moved to dodge. Namor rised from the water and struck his spear into the front of the craft. Jessie gave Rella a nudge. "Not this time." Rella lifted her hands, using her powers to rise water from the ocean and jumped off the ship, the water holding her up and she landed onto the craft in front of Namor. Shuri raised her brows with an impressed look. This was the first time any of them seen her powers in action and to say they were cool was an understatement.
"Choose your side, Aquarella," Namor stated. "What's it gonna be? Family or love?" Namor spoke as they both circled the craft. Aquarella was a bit taken back by the question. She didn't know how Namor was referring that to but her mind couldn't help but drift off to Shuri. She just didn't believe she loved the girl. There was no way she did.
"This family drowned the minute Soulina died in my arms! I don't even know who you are anymore." Aquarella stated and Namor glared at his daughter. Jessie used his strength and threw a spear to Rella who caught it without looking. She used her spear, hitting Namor and sending him into the air like he was a baseball. Only he caught himself before he could land into the water. Namor looked at Rella in shock and anger and she smirked.
Rella ran to the front to the aircraft to make sure it would still work. She turned seeing that Namor was looking directly at Riri who was in her new and improved suit. Riri shot at him but he dodged each blast. "I don't think yo pops likes me very much!" Riri exclaimed and Rella rolled her eyes. "Him tryna to kill you the first time wasn't enough?!" Soul replied.
"Good point ma."
Namor managed to grab the end of the other aircraft and throw it to the ship. Everyone ducked and the aircraft exploded at the end of it.
Aquarella landed back on the ship, landing next to Shuri. Rella noticed the sounds from the bottom of the ship no longer working and cursed under her breath. "Shit," Rella mumbled, assuming it must've been Namora. After all, she was one of the most powerful Talokanils so she must've fought through the pain to destroy it. Jessie looked at his bracelet, waiting to give the call to Amphitrite if he needed, but Rella grabbed his wrist and shook her head no.
The Dora Milaje jumped off the ship, the Jabari holding onto them with a wire attached to their backs. Shuri ran and jumped onto the side of the ship, fighting off some of the Talokanils. "Riri, how's it going over there?" Shuri asked as she continued fighting on the side of the ship.
"Mr Griot, I could really use that backup right now." Rella heard Riri say.
"Don't see why you won't let me fight him yet," Aquarella mumbled, directing that at Shuri. They had argued back and forth about letting her fight and Shuri did not want Rella fighting her father at all. Aquarella didn't even know why Shuri cared so much.
The Sunbird from the water shot up, firing at Namor who immediately began to fly up to avoid it. "Shit he's fast. But I'm faster." Riri flew up as the Sunbird shot small rockets at Namor. He flew up above the clouds but didn't notice Riri do the same. "Got you!" Just as Namor turned around, Riri shot a blast at him. He fell, being taken off guard by the blast. Rella and Jessie watched him fall from the sky, landing on the Sunbird that flew just perfectly to catch him.
"It's all you now, Shuri!" Riri said.
Aquarella watched as Shuri jumped onto the Sunbird. "Please be careful," she mumbled to herself.
Shuri landed inside the Sunbird, Namor standing inside of it. "Princess," Namor said in a warning tone. Already pissed that she stole his daughter from him and managed to get her to turn on him.
"No!" Shuri's helmet came off. "I am the Black Panther and I'm here for retribution!"
"Evaporation cells, activated," Griot spoke. Namor looked at his hands, suddenly becoming dizzy and confused. He looked up seeing some kind of red heaters that were used to dehydrate him.
"What's wrong? You need a glass of water?" Shuri spoke up, taunting him.
Rella watched as Riri landed and she ran over. "Yo, we got him!" Riri said.
"Good!" M'Baku said, wanting to get it all over with already.
"Namor has been captured! Back off!" Nakia announced to the Dora Milaje who were still fighting on the side of the ship. Soul checked on Riri, making sure she okay before Riri flew back up and Soul nodded at M'Baku. "Back to Wakanda!" M'Baku announced. The Jabari nodded and pulled the Dora Milaje back up. The ship sailed off but then their was some kind of blast felt under the ship.
"What is going on?" M'Baku asked.
"The Sonic emitter has been destroyed," the woman answered.
Aquarella perked up hearing the whale sounds. Jessie gave her a look, wondering what she was hearing as he only understood mammals under the water. "That can't be good," M'Baku spoke.
"Grab onto something!" Rella ordered just a ton of water bombs went off under the ship. It tipped the ship over and people grabbed on. Unfortunately a few Jabari fell off, only to be killed in the water by the Talokanils. "Jessie, grab something!" Rella caught sight of Jessie losing his grip on the crate, giving room for someone else to grab it instead. "Jessie!" Rella contemplated on letting go as she watched Jessie fall into the water, losing sight of his body. She didn't even see Jessie click something on his bracelet as he fell.
"Shuri, I'm waitin' for your signal," Rella spoke impatiently. "You can fight now," Shuri replied. Aquarella sighed in relief, glad to finally join the fight. Rella ran, jumping off the ship and holding onto the side of it, having the power to climb anything like Spider-Man himself.
Rella used her powers, throwing some of the Talokanils off the ship, even kicking a few off. As she fought, she did her best trying to look for wherever Jessie could be. Rella sighed, still not finding Jessie but noticing Okoye and Aneka finally join the fight, in their new suits Rella helped make.
Rella's eyes widened seeing Attuma being launched onto the ship with more and more Talokanils joining. "Stupid fucking catfish," Rella climbed back onto the top, just having to find Jessie when she dealt with the Talokanils. She was just hoping Jessie could fend for himself for now.
The Talokanils made it to the top of the ship, "Sink the ship!" Attuma ordered. Aquarella sighed, not in the mood for this. "Okoye, he's right there. Deal with him please. I need to find Jessie." Rella said through coms. "Get to your friend! I'll take care of this," Okoye replied swiftly, her eyes landing on Attuma.
Aquarella noticed one of the Dora fall off the ship and immediately jumped down. "Ri, get the Dora!" Rella ordered as she fought off the Talokanils trying to kill the Dora.
"I gotchu sis," Riri grabbed onto the Dora and she flew them back up. Rella looked around in the water, trying to locate Jessie with her bracelet but seen his wasn't working for whatever reason. Finally, she spotted him. "Jessie!" Aquarella swam towards him, not noticing someone swim away immediately.
Rella used the water to pull them both up, holding Jessie with his arms around her shoulder, but Namora grabbed her ankle and pulled her back down. Rella let go of Jessie and used her abilities to pull him out of the water, seeing the blood drip from his shoulder. "Griot, locate Jessie!" Rella ordered before putting her attention back onto Namora.
"What is your problem, Mora?!" Rella grunted.
Aquarella and Namora both fought, Namora getting the upper hand as she did have more advanced combat skills than Rella. "You can't beat me, Rella! Just stay down and go home! This isn't your fight!" Namora argued, kicking Rella in the stomach.
Rella groaned and glared at Namora. "This is my fight and I intend on winning! You shouldve stayed home with your wife!" Rella punched Namora who held her face and looked at Rella, shocked by her behavior. Namora scoffed and used her spear and cut Rella's torso and knocked her unconscious with a hit to the head before rising out of the water after jumping onto Riri who came to help Rella.
Rella's body sunk down into the ocean, bleeding profusely. That was until smaller arms hooked around her body and swum her back up to the surface. Rella gasped awake, her hands going to her wound immediately. She looked around wondering who pulled her up, only to see the end of a tail swim back down into the depths of the ocean. Rella furrowed her brows in confusion, the tail looking oddly similar. It was like no other tail she seen a siren have. It certainly wasn't Jessie as his was black with dark grey spikes at the back. This tail was more bright and colorful, it looked a lot like Soulina's.
Before Rella could think more on the subject she was snapped back into reality, hearing M'Baku call her name, wondering where she was. "Hold on, I'm coming!" Rella climbed back to the top of the ship, standing up with a huff. She felt her body healing but the wound was deep so it would take a while. She figured Namora did that on purpose, cutting her deep so she would take the hint and leave to heal.
"Capture Princess Rella!" Attuma ordered his people as he fought Okoye who was matching his strength with the suit. It pissed him off to say the least. He knew it must've been something of Aquarella's work knowing she was the only one aware of how strong he was.
"Who the hell is Rella?!" M'Baku asked Aquarella who he spotted across the ship.
Aquarella looked around warily, seeing a lot of Talokanils begin to surround her. "Uh I think it's me!" Aquarella replied.
"Protect the fishstick!" M'Baku ordered what was left of the Jabari.
"Fishstick?" Rella mumbled in offense. Sighing she threw a water blast at one of the men, sending him flying off the ship. Yeah this only pissed the Talokanils off even more. "Shit." Rella reached for her knife and furrowed her brows, not finding it. "Has anyone seen a golden knife anywhere?! It has ancient encryptions on it!" Rella asked.
"What golden knife?!" M'Baku asked in confusion, never seeing anyone have a golden knife just lying around somewhere.
"Nevermind!" Rella ran at the Talokanils, stabbing into it's shoulder. Unfortunately she wasn't paying attention behind her and a Talokanil slashed at her back, luckily her corset protected her. He grabbed a rope and went to tie her hands but Rella clenched her jaw and sent a huge water blast at them, only each one she got off, more ran to fight and capture her.
Rella was forced back to the back of the ship, a spear against her throat. They cut at her leg and she dropped to one knee with a groan. "P'รกat a kaambal, princesa!" Rella held her hand against the spear, using her strength to hold it from cutting into her throat. The spear suddenly dropped, the man being knocked to the floor unconscious. Rella scrunched her brows in confusion, looking up, her face dropped into shock.
Soulina stood there, looking down at the man with a long piece of wood in her hand. She dropped the wood and flipped her hair out of her face with a small happy giggle. Rella was to confused, tired, scared, and distraught to realize several of the sirens from Atlantica's army were singing in unison, crawling onto the ship as the Talokanils were compelled to drop their weapons.
"Are you okay?" Soulina attempted to step closer but Rella crawled back. Soul frowned sadly, her energetic face falling. "No, no, no, no, get away from me. You're not real. Get out of my head!" Rella curled up into a ball, hiding her tearful face in her knees.
"Griot, take me back down to the ship now!" Jessie held his shoulder with a wince, leaning against the wall in the jetcraft. "As you wish, Jessie." The jet headed back to the ship just as they were getting closer to Wakanda.
Soulina looked up at the hovering aircraft above the ship and furrowed her brows in confusion. She slowly took a few steps away from Rella who was practically hyperventilating. She wanted to help but Rella wouldn't even let her near her. Jessie fell from the jet, landing perfectly onto the floor he sighed in relief, looking at the sirens who had the Talokanils grouped in the back of the ship, keeping them away from their weapons and the Wakandans.
Looking around for Rella his eyes practically bulged from their sockets seeing Soulina, alive and well, alive. "What the actual sea urchin." Jessie shook his head, making sure he wasn't going crazy. His eyes fell on the crying Aquarella and immediately he ran towards her and past Soulina. Dropping to his knees he kneeled down in front of her, he tried to touch her but she scoot away from him. "No, no, no, don't touch me!"
"Hey, Rells, babe it's just me. It's Jessie, it's just Jessie. You're okay. It's okay." Jessie pulled her hands away from her face and she opened her eyes, sighing in relief. "I think I'm going crazy, Jess." Rella mumbled, holding onto him and he held her closer, his eyes on Soulina the entire time. "If you're crazy, then so am I." Jessie replied.
"What?" Rella pulled back to look at him. "You see her too?"
"If you mean, Soul. Then yeah." Jessie looked up, immediately shaking his head noticing Soul began to back up towards the edge. "No! Get back here!" Jessie stood up and ran towards her but she dived off the ship, disappearing into the sea. "Shit!"
Rella stood up just as Attuma knocked down one of sirens, taking their weapon and stabbing his shoulder, kicking them off the ship. The Talokanils followed in suite and the fight was back on. The Wakandans getting back involved but were easily overpowered by the numbers game.
"May the ancestors save us! If the Princess doesn't hurry up!" M'Baku spoke as the Talokanils surrounded them. Unable to let them join the fight with the sirens.
"We may be going to join them," Ayo said.
"If so eh, let us take as many of them with us as we can!" Aneka responded confidently.
"Come on, Shuri," Rella spoke quietly and impatiently. She just wanted to get it over with immediately after seeing what she thinks was Soulina. But it couldn't have been. Soulina died in her arms, she had no pulse and no heartbeat. There was no way she was alive. Yeah, maybe she never saw the body after Amphitrite took her back to Atlantica, but she was sure that Soul didn't make it.
Jessie kneeled down next to Rella, "I think we're both going crazy, Rells." He winced as Rella put a water protection band-aid over his wound to stop the bleeding for now.
Shuri flipped in front of Namor and slowly rose to her feet. Namor weakly raised his fists, "Imperius Rex."
Shuri clicked something on her suit and made an 'x'. "Wakanda Forever!"
The end of the Sunbird's engine blasted, hitting Namor with fire as Shuri's helmet came over her head, protecting her from being hurt from the blast.
Namor fell to the ground with a weak groan, his body practically burned to crisp. Shuri used her foot to turn Namor onto his back. Her helmet came off and she looked down at his weak state. Her mind drifted to all the things he did to her, all the pain he caused her, all the pain he caused Wakanda, all the pain he caused Aquarella.
Shuri pulled out the golden knife from her suit and leaned down, she held it up against his throat. Namor looked at the knife, recognizing it to be Soulina's but was passed down to Rella after she died. Rella never let that knife out of her sight so he wondered why she'd give it to Shuri.
Shuri's mind also drifted to her people, and his people. They both had a country to lead and protect. Her mind went to how much both of them lost. Namor lost his mother, but Shuri also lost hers.
"Shuri." A voice spoke. Shuri blinked in confusion and looked away from Namor, suddenly seeing her mother in the ancestral plane.
"Mother," Shuri spoke, on the verge of tears.
"Show him, who you are," Ramonda spoke, her voice filled with authority and power like always.
Shuri looked back down at Namor, "Yield. And Wakanda will protect your oceans. We will protect your secrets. Yield. And your people will live." Namor looked at her, not entirely sure he really had much of a choice.
"Vengeance has consumed us. We cannot let it consume our people." Shuri spoke, and subconsciously did it sound similar to some T'Challa said in the past. "Think about your daughter. Yield, or she will lose her father. Hasn't she already lost enough?" Namor didn't have to think twice, knowing she was talking about Rella losing James and Soulina.
Namor looked at knife and noticed the encryptions on it beginning to glow. He knew it always glowed when it was in presence of it's owner. As he glanced behind Shuri, he could see a girl, with Amphitrite behind her, her hands on the girl's shoulders. "Shuri, give me the knife." Amphitrite spoke, setting her hand gently on Shuri's shoulder.
Shuri breathed heavily, not sure she could trust Amphitrite after what she did to Aquarella and James. "Give me the knife, Shuri," Amphitrite repeated.
Letting out a shaky breath she stood up slowly and set the knife in Amphitrite's hand. Amphitrite turned around and set the knife in Soulina's hand and the glow died down in the hands of it's rightful owner. Shuri's blinked, feeling shock and confusion at the girl's presence. She looked older than the pictures she had seen. But honestly nothing from the Coralia family surprised her anymore.
"Lina?" Namor's brows frowned, feigning confusion. "Hey dad." Soul forced a smile, kneeling down in front of Namor. "You need to yield, papa. Do it for me, do it for our family and our people. Yield, or she will kill you and I will let her." Soulina stated, her voice not once faltering. Soul noticed the disbelief on his face, almost like he didn't believe she'd let Shuri kill him.
Soul shook her head softly and stood up, she set the knife in Shuri's hand, pulling the princess from her thoughts. Shuri leaned back down and held the knife to his throat, showing him that Soul and Amphitrite would let her kill him if he didn't yield to her. "Yield, Namor. Don't let your daughters lose their last father. Yield, now." Amphitrite stated, her hand on Soul's shoulder.
It took Namor a second to think about it, but seeing the images of their family all together, he knew what he needed to do. "I give up." He yielded.
M'Baku, Nakia, Okoye, Aneka, Ayo, Riri and what was left of the Wakandans, all held up their spears/weapons in protection against the Talokans. They were forced to the front edge of the ship. The sirens were all still putting up a good fight, blood was shed, lives were lost, and Rella couldn't take it anymore. She was growing impatient by the second.
They kicked her spear off the ship, leaving her with no weapon. One slammed Rella onto the ground and tied up her hands. Aquarella clenched her teeth, trying to think of anything else but the searing pain and aching in her body. A male held his spear to her throat, almost daring her to move and she glared at him. Jessie ran over, kicking them off the ship and Rella sighed in relief even though she knew she had it. "I didn't need your help by the way. I totally had that." Rella said.
"Oh yeah, totally. That's why you're tied up, yes?" Jessie chuckled as he untied her hands and helped her up. Only their conversation didn't last very long when Namora and Attuma grabbed the two sirens and tied their hands behind their backs, pushing them onto their knees. Both of the sirens rolled their eyes and bickered in Aquan about who's fault it was.
The sound of a jet caught everyone's attention and they looked over noticing one of the aircrafts hover in the air. The Black Panther and a clearly defeated Namor stood on it. The Queen of Atlantica landed on the edge of the ship. "Sirens of Atlantica! Stand down, our fight here is over! No more blood shall be shed!" Amphitrite ordered her army in Aquan. The sirens followed her command and lowered their weapons, facing their Queen, they bowed to her and dived back into the ocean.
"Talokaniles! Let's go home. Our fight here is over." Namor spoke to his people in Mayan. All of them lowered their weapons and kneeled down, doing their traditional Talokan signal. "Release the Princess," Namor ordered, referring to Aquarella who was happy to see that both Shuri and Namor were okay. She was relieved Shuri didn't have to kill Namor and so she'd still have a father.
Namora and Attuma did as told and released the princess. "I'm here too. By the way." Jessie pursed his lips, holding his tied hands out. Attuma rolled his eyes and cut his ropes, helping the siren boy up. "Dramatic as always, Jessie." Attuma mumbled and Jessie scoffed at his attitude. "Crabby much blueberry?"
Namora held out her hand and Aquarella warily took it and let her help her up. Namora lead Aquarella over to her mother and Amphitrite immediately held up Rella. "You're okay, baby. I got you." Amphitrite pressed a kiss to her head and slowly did Aquarella fall unconscious. Jessie went to run towards her in concern but Attuma held him back and shook his head, already aware of what Amphitrite did.
Shuri looked to her people and made an 'X' over her chest. "Wakanda Forever!"
"Wakanda Forever!" The Wakandans repeated, making an 'X' over their chests.
