"RYŌ, IS THAT YOU?", NAOMI ASKED, extending her arms outwards, as the woman was blind and worried that she would bump into something.
ryōmen-sukuna scoffed as he stood before the woman, watching as she tried to feel around for him.
"obviously. who else?", the rude curse stated, making naomi smile.
"I just wanted to make sure...by the way, would you like to come inside today? it feels a bit sunny", the dark-haired princess offered.
indeed, ashikaga naomi was the daughter of the shogunate. however, the woman was casted away, as her sight had completely depleted at the young age of twelve.
"your room is more worn down than the peasants outside this castle, and you dare invite me into such a rubbish house?"
naomi slightly dipped her head.
"mm...I apologize for my incompetence", the woman murmured, to which she had only heard another scoff.
"should I bring a cup of tea to you then? I'll go do that", the woman smiled, walking away as she nearly tripped on her kimono, having to have been given leftover fabric by the maids.
sukuna unconsciously took a step forward as he watched naomi stabilize herself, sighing a breath of relief as she managed to get inside her petite abode and retrieve a cup of flavorless tea.
originally, the man was going to take one of the shogunate's daughters hostage as a new way of threatening humans, however, when he had accidentally stumbled upon naomi, he found the woman to be quite dumb — which in turn intrigued him more.
neither was the woman extremely pretty, nor was she exceptionally talented.
however, she was beyond kind.
if someone were to beg her for money, she'd most probably give them her entire allowance, even though she didn't have much herself.
naomi was a true believer that good things came around, as she persuaded herself that everything was going to get better one day.
"you can only going up from hitting rock bottom", she told sukuna.
"you're a dumb woman", the curse would meanly reply, though naomi would only smile, as she appreciated the only conversation she received.
many tried to stay away from her as much as possible, as she was the forgotten princess, and no benefits came from being kissing up to her.
"ryō, what did you do today?", the woman would ask, as she loved to hear about anything sukuna would tell her, since she's never even step foot in the main palace.
"nothing", the curse bluntly answered, chugging the tea as he had immediately spat it out.
"this shit is nasty! what the hell are they giving you?!"
naomi slightly fiddled with her thumbs as her lips pressed into a thin line.
"I'm sorry...I don't have the best tea leaves here...but if you go into the main palace, I'm sure my sisters would have some nicer ones to offer", the woman smiled.
"yeah whatever. now stop standing there like an idiot and help me clean off my bloody hands!"
naomi nodded as she sat beside the curse once she retrieved a rag from inside.
the dark-haired woman reached out as she felt a hand that was quite a bit larger than hers lay in her palm.
sukuna observed as the woman didn't seem to hold any resentment no matter how demanding he was.
she would simply wipe the disgusting human blood off sukuna's hands, one at a time, as she didn't seem the least bit fearful that the man had four.
"did I miss a spot?", naomi asked, slightly holding onto sukuna's hand, as this was the only contact she appreciated.
"no", the curse replied, allowing naomi to encase his long fingers with her small hands, as she cracked a small smile.
who knew the bloodstained hands of ryōmen-sukuna could make someone so happy?
"ah...by the way...I'm leaving soon, so I'm sorry that I won't be able to help wipe your hands off anymore", naomi informed, making sukuna raise a brow.
"so? I'll just find someone else", sukuna harshly scoffed, snatching his hand away from the woman's grasp as she could clearly hear him leave.
naomi bitterly smiled, as she clenched her fists, missing the warmth of another being already.
"how pleasant..."

sukuna was awoken by a nightmare.
it was ironic considering he was everyone else's worst fear.
the king of curses ran a hand through his coral-like hair, as he groaned, not bothering to fix his kimono as it loosely showcased his defined chest.
sukuna squinted his eyes as he suddenly harbored a horrendous gut feeling — for no reason at all.
"sukuna-sama, is something of the matters?", uraume questioned, always appearing right when the man needed them.
"is something happening that I'm not aware of?", the curse vaguely asked, to which uraume had momentarily paused.
"I heard that the humans are burning waste tonight...though it seems like it's the forgotten princes—"
sukuna hastily strolled past uraume as he headed towards the main palace, where the grey smoke had already ascended towards the starry sky.
"who are you and what's your purpose—"
sukuna easily killed the guard as he assassinated many more, murdering anyone and everyone that was getting in his way.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP, YOU ANNOYING IMBECILES!"
the king of curses felt his entire body drown in blood as he entered the courtyard of the main palace, witnessing naomi tied to piles and piles of wood, with flames burning higher than the cross that the woman was attached to.
"WHO ARE YOU?! WHAT ARE YOU—"
sukuna simply sliced off the extra's head, causing screams to flood the entire palace as the curse could only focus on the burning woman, who had nearly turned into ashes.
though it was as if naomi had a third eye, as the woman could sense sukuna's overwhelming presence amongst all the chaos.
"it's okay...ryō..."
those were the last words that sukuna had heard from the woman as she was completely engulfed in the warm flames: the only thing that would embrace her.
sukuna gritted his teeth as his red eyes flared with ignorance, pinning all the humans that had started escaping and begging for mercy.
"die, you worthless humans", the king of curses commanded.
