ITS BEEN A MONTH everyone acting like nothing happened in Barcelona but it did Miguel has been trying to help me get better from kwon death but nothing really worked at all as all I feel was pain and angry but I'm trying

If I'm being honest, I wanted revenge I wanted to take my revenge out on axle and I had decided to finally get out of bed so I came to the dealer as I was helping Miguel and Sam put on some gold ribbon on a red car

Sam told her and I shake my head a little and Daniel comes to us." Miguel, Kayla, did you two hear who I sold a car to this morning." He asked us and I shake my head slightly." Who." Miguel asked curious I was also curious myself

A big shot at UCLA admissions." Amanda told us and I hum as I finish, fixing the ribbon and looked at Sam." Wow Sam that's amazing." Miguel told her with a smile and I nod in agreement

Yeah, I mean it's still early though." Sam told him." Yeah with the Sekai Taikai gone the Stanford dreams kind of gone." Miguel told her and I stiffens slightly at the mention of the Sekai Taikai and looked away from them and back to the red car

I know that change things for everyone." Sam told him softly I take in a shaky breath at her words Kwon body flashing in my head I had decided to talk. I'm trying to distract myself.

About Kwon death which I haven't had since I was 15. mom is trying to take me to therapy, but I don't want that. So I'm just trying to stop the panic attacks myself instead of going to therapy because I don't really see the point of going to therapy anymore.

I WAS HELPING SAM set up a table
When suddenly Vanessa walked up to the table that Sam and I are setting up

Oh hi love how was Barcelona." She asked Sam after giving me a small smile." hi it was good yeah." Sam told her and I smoothing down the red cloth on the table." there was a bit of a black cloud over everything but." Sam told and she shake her." no honey not the karate stuff I want the tea on the city the food, the Spanish men." She said and I smiled slightly in amusement

It was kind of amazing the culture, the beaches." I both my lip slightly as Sam mentioned the beach as that's where Kwon and I had kissed for the first time and I take a deep breath and focus back on the conversation." it was nice to get out of the valley bubble." Sam said and I couldn't help with agreed with her

What are you all giddy about UCLA." Amanda asked as she walked the table with a smile and I see how sam expression falls a little and I realize that she didn't even wanna go to UCLA

Are you kidding? She's not going to UClA this girl is dying to get away from home." The girl and I shake my head slightly on how she can be so blurt and Sam was shaking her head denying it." I-I didn't say that." Sam told her mom." OK so we're not just having an honest conversation about this." The girl asked and I cover my face with a small groan

I uncover my face and looked at her." is that where you're all I have or." She asked and I sigh and looked at Sam." honestly I've-i've been looking a little farther from home I just didn't wanna say anything" Sam admits to her mom

I know it's gonna be complicated with Miguel and-and Dad." Sam told her with a small sigh and Amanda nod understanding." I figured. and I get it I had the same instinct when I was your age now your father maybe we don't throw the news in the mix with him just yet." Amanda told Sam and Vanessa makes a small sound and we all looked at her

What now." Amanda asked her voice a little tight as she turned her head to look at Vanessa making me chuckle slightly." Clearly you know, Daniel is messed up. I mean, he's all Bridezilla-ing all over the dealership and not talking about Barcelona at all." She said and I clenched my fist slightly, my nails digging into the palm of my hand.

But you're getting what you want so no sudden moments, right." Vanessa, said and I unclenched my fist and put my hands in the pocket of my hoodie so they wouldn't see the nail marks on my palm as she's closer to me." Look, I may personally be enjoying him, putting his attention on the dealership, but that's." Amanda goes to continue but vanessa interrupts her

You don't gotta justify it to me I play this game I got anoush right where I wanted him." Vanessa said and I raise an eyebrow slightly at her words and looked at Sam and she chuckles and I smiled slightly but not fully which she saw so she grab my hand from the pocket of my hoodie

Sam goes to hold my hand, but stops and looked at on my palm and I sigh seeing the marks still there and I looked at her to see that she was looking at me a little more worried, and I shake my head, giving her a tight lip smile and I looked back at Amanda and the girl." no no there are no games the karate war being over is a good thing." Amanda told her and I hum slightly

Daniel is fine he's fine. He just needs time to adjust." Amanda said one thing I knew is that he wasn't fine after all, he was the one that turned Kwon around and I looked at him." What the hell is this? I said no more bonsais what's so hard about that." Daniel said and I lick my dry lips with a small chuckle in amusement we watched as the scene go on and the bonsais fall on the ground, and Amanda looked back at the Vanessa

You're always right about this stuff, aren't you." Amanda asked her with a sigh and the girl nod." Yeah." She said." It's nice." Amanda told her sarcastically and I shake my head and Vanessa looks at me

And you should really go see a therapist too after everything that's happened to you especially the boy you love dying like I'm surprised that you haven't done anything to yourself." The girl told me and I feel myself stiffens at her words Sam and Amanda glare at her." I-I have to go." I told them quickly walking away

I quickly go to the bathroom, feeling my vision, get a little blurry my eyes watering with tears as I tried to hold them back and i feel my chest to get a little tight, and I grab onto the wall so I wouldn't fall as I try to get my breathing even as my hands starts to shake and tears start rolling down my cheek as I hold the wall tighter

I slid down on the wall, sitting against it, pulling my knees to my chest and leaning my head back against the wall trying to breathe right images of Kwon coming to me, making it harder for me to breathe and I let out a sob and I moved my hair back

Kayla." I hear Sam and Miguel voices and I looked at them and they immediately come to me and kneel down in front of me

Kayla hey you have to calm down." Miguel told me grabbing my cheek, tapping it slightly trying to bring me back to focus but I couldn't images of Kwon and me coming to me and Sam grab my hand, giving it a squeeze." Shh it's ok it's ok Kayla just let it out." Sam told me pulling me to her chest, and I laid my head on her shoulder let out a sob and Miguel rubs small circles on my back

I-I told him not to do anything stupid." I said with a sob as tears roll down my cheeks as Sam runs her fingers through my hair." I know but he's Kwon he just had to prove he was stronger but what happened to him is not your fault OK." Miguel told me and I hold on to Sam tighter and Miguel runs his fingers through my hair to calm me down like he used to do when we were kids

I miss h-him and it's hurts." I told them as I close my eyes tightly and they both continue to try to calm me down Sam running her fingers through my hair and Miguel rubbing my knuckles.

SO IT WAS NIGHT already and we were on the dealership as I'm drinking some of the champagne as Daniel click his glass, making us all turn around to him

Everyone! I just wanted to thank you all for being here with us tonight we are so lucky to be surrounded by friends and family and the family that we have chosen the LaRusso auto family." He told us and I smiled slightly

You know family means that we love and support each other no matter what and that we could be proud every step forward we've taken together and even after 18 incredible years there's still so much ahead of us." He told us and I drink a little of the champagne my mind going to Kwon but I continue to pay attention

And the early days of this business things were pretty uncertain we knew we were taking a risk. We had no idea if we'd be well received but we built something of our own." He told us and everyone nodded listening

We trusted each other we trusted that it will all work out okay because we had each other so thank you to everyone in our family old and new here's to the next step forward." Daniel said, lifting up his champagne. and we all did the same." Cheers." He said and we all clapped with a smile and I drink some of the champagne

Sam, Miguel, Robby, and I walk to Daniel as we heard about the tournament being back on and we wanted to confirm" dad is it true the tournament is back on." Sam asked and he smiled and nod." It's true." He told us and we look at each other and back at him." if that's what you all want." He told us softly

Fuck it." I said drinking the champagne and one sip." I say we do it." I told Sam Miguel and Robby and they smiled all we looked back at Daniel
