"I WANT TO KNOW EVERY DETAIL!"
Cho-rong said, the rest of the friend group agreeing with a nod as they crowded around Kim Ji-an and Han Seo-jun. The group and some other students that Ji-an had no idea who they were, had dragged them outside the school building and to a hideout that Seo-jun and his friends use, to question them about their relationship. It was all everyone was talking about and now they wanted or more like demanded for answers that neither Ji-an of Seo-jun had.

Nonetheless, they hadn't had time to plan out what fake story they were going to make up so now it was all up to improvisation and a lot of internal praying for the lie to turn out smooth and believable without making a fool out of themselves.

Han Seo-jun shared a quick exasperated look with Ji-an before looking at Cho-rong. "What do you want to know?"

"Since when did you guys have been hiding this from us? It's only been a few weeks since Kim Ji-an came back and last I remember you two had this weird dynamic going on where all you did was insult each other." He narrowed his eyes as he crossed his arms over his chest it was as if he had now remembered, Seo-jun had left him in the dark about everything.

Now Kim Ji-an was a pretty decent liar but Han Seo-jun on the other hand not so much. So wanting to take the lead on this one she sent a look at Seo-jun hoping that he would catch up and let her answer the simple question

"Actually we started talking-" but apparently the Han boy didn't quite understand what she meant and decided to also answer.

"Everything happened pretty fast."

Ji-an glared at Seo-jun not believe how dumb the boy could sometimes be. All he had to do was leave the questions to her. She thought he had learn from their previous experiences years before. When the Kim girl realized she was still glaring at the boy, she soften her look and smiled softly at him before turning to
Cho-rong. "A few months after I left we started talking again and that's when it all started."

Seo-jun eagerly nodded, knowing her answer was much better and believable than his. As much as it pained him to say it he knew she was a better liar than him. He didn't know where the girl had gotten that skill but at the moment he wasn't complaining.

Cho-rong frown, to say he was offended was an understatement. "You we're talking with her all this time and you didn't care to tell me? Me? Your best friend?"

"Nobody knew about it. It's not that big of a deal."

Slightly raising his voice Cho-rong tried to get his point across and make his friend understand how important it actually was. "It is because we're talking about your first girlfriend here!"

Then some random girl spoke from the crowd, "I don't believe that. How can a guy that looks like him never had a girlfriend before?" More murmurs came from the group as a few people voiced their thoughts. A few agreed, which unknown to them raised Han Seo-jun's ego and others said the contrary.

"Funny thing. I actually tried making him go on a few dates but he always refused." Kim Ji-an said chuckling at the thought and receiving a few surprised looks from the students.

"What is this expose Han Seo-jun club?" He scoffed. "If you all are done with your questions I would like to leave." The Han boy attempted to distance himself from the group but Cho-rong stopped him by grabbing the him by the hoodie and pushing him back beside Ji-an.

"I'm not done," He narrowed his eyes, pointing between Seo-jun and Ji-an. "When did you ask her out?"

Rolling his eyes Seo-jun crossed his arms over his chest. "Like I said, everything happened very fast and so I haven't asked her out yet."

In Cho-rong's opinion, Seo-jun lacked a lot of knowledge over how a relationship should work and he found it quite embarrassing. "What do you mean with that?"

Seo-jun was growing tired of all the questions. He couldn't believe they were having this conversation in front of all those students. "Can I leave?"

"Uh no! You have to ask her out!" Cho-rong said it as if it was the most obvious thing in the world and Ji-an couldn't help but grimace. She wanted to be anywhere but there.

"I'll do it now then."

"What? No not here! It has to be special." Seeing the look on Seo-jun's face, Cho-rong took the boy by the arm as he dragged him away from the group. "You have so much to learn."

When Ji-an arrived at her so called home she immediately felt like something was off. It always felt weird when she came in because it didn't felt like she belonged maybe at some point in her early years she did but not anymore. Now, she couldn't even call it a home because why would you when it didn't feel like one?

Her eyes wondered around noticing how silent the place was, which was strange considering the fact that even if her parents weren't home, you could always hear the maids chatting in the kitchen.

"Chin-sun? Is anyone here?" The Kim girl looked around not noticing the bottle of liquor and the empty wine glass on the table.

"Look who decided to come." Jumping at the sudden voice Ji-an turned her head to meet her mothers eyes, Hae-won. The woman did not look happy and her appearance was something Ji-an had never seen before. Her usually perfect styled hair was a complete mess, her red lipstick was long gone along with the rest of her makeup. Ji-an's mother was a very prideful woman, someone who always liked to be in control and look presentable so seeing her in this condition left the Kim girl feeling uneasy.

Looking around Ji-an asked, "Where's everybody?"

"I told them to get a day off. We're the only ones here." Hae-won chuckled, pouring herself a glass of wine before taking a sip. "You're just full of disappointments aren't you?"

The words stung but she didn't want to let her mother know as she kept her face neutral. "What are you talking about?"

"What am I talking about? I'll show you." Grabbing her phone the woman started typing something and once she found what she was looking for she walked closer towards her daughter as she showed her, the phone screen.

Furrowing her brows Ji-an moved her eyes down to the screen realizing the woman was showing her the pictures of her and Han
Seo-jun, The same ones everyone saw at school.

"Oh I can expla-" In the blink of an eye
Hae-won walked forward pushing her daughter against the wall as she pressed her nails against Ji-an's cheeks so hard the girl was sure it would leave a bruise the next day.

"You think I'm stupid?" She laughed, it was cold and void of any warm or actual happiness that cause goosebumps to form on Ji-an's skin. This was a side she had never seen from her mother. Yes, she could sometimes get a little bit violent verbally but never physically and
Ji-an would be lying if she said she wasn't scared at the moment.

Shaking her head Ji-an spoke doing her best to ignore the sharp pain of her mothers nails digging even further against her skin. "It's not what you think okay? Look, you told me-"

And before she knew it, her head flew to the side as she felt her mother's hand come in contact with her left cheek. At this point Ji-an breathing was heavy and she slowly raised her hand, her eyes glued to the floor as she gently pressed it against her stinging cheek.

"Don't use my words as an excuse to act like a slut." Ji-an flinched as Hae-won raised her voice. "Hey! Look at me when I'm talking to you!"

Hesitantly the girl obliged as she met her mothers glare. "Our whole life depends on you and this is how you pay us? You have a month. One month to make Su-ho get back with you."

Ji-an swallowed, it felt like her throat was burning. "What happens if I can't make that happen?"

"You don't wanna know."
