[SEASON TWO: EPISODE TWO]

Ethan's alarm sounded, prompting him to rise swiftly. He proceeded with his morning routine, engaging in exercises like sit-ups, push-ups, planks, and crunches. Afterwards, he changed into a different attire and confidently left his mother's apartment, donning a pair of black sunglasses.

The blonde, also sporting sunglasses, crossed paths with Williams. The two exchanged a fist bump before hopping into Johnny's challenger, now repainted to perfectly match the Cobra Kai colors. Together, they sped off.

Upon reaching the dojo, Ethan entered and sat his bag down. Spotting Aisha's book bag, he opened it to retrieve her phone, intending to call Sam and extend an apology for his aggressive behavior at the All-Valley Tournament.

"Hey, about time I heard from you. Did you miss me?"

Her sweet voice, elicited a small smile from him.

"My childhood best friend, of course, I've missed you, alot actually. Look, Please don't hang up, Aisha doesn't know I have her phone."

"What do you want, Ethan?" She asked.

"I made a mistake, big time. I kept a secret from you and your dad, about me being in Cobra Kai. I also want to apologize for my attitude at the tournament, it was not cool, because...." He sighed and shook his head before continuing.

"Look, I just want things to go back to the way, they were before."

"Yeah. Well, it's not that easy. And I need some time to figure everything out."

"Alright, I guess, I will leave you alone for that to happen."

"Thank you. I've got to go." Sam stated, as he nodded his head and she hang up the phone.

"Did I say you could speak?"

Hawk, Aisha, and Bert stood before two very familiar guys they had encountered the other day.

"Guys, calm down. They're just messing around."
Ethan appeared, behind the boys with a playful grin on his face. It made them feel a little better about themselves.

"Thanks, man." Chris smiled.

"And, besides, everyone in here knows your names are assface and douchebag."

Suddenly, the front door swung open, and a subtle ding from inside prompted Williams and the others to turn their gaze toward the newcomer.

Their eyebrows frowned in confusion and they observed an old man trudge in clutching a mud brown duffle bag. It was clear everyone had no idea who he was.

The old man caught theirs, causing a tense moment, but Ethan maintained eye contact. He was the first one to break away, redirecting his attention to someone else.

"Who's that?" Hawk asked.

"I don't know...."

He briefly looked at them, and walked past them. But, he tried to ignore his pricking gaze instead.

"Can I help you?" Ethan asked.

"No. But, maybe I can help you." He smirked.

"Hey!" Johnny emerged from his office, striding toward them. The boy appeared confused, staying silent while repeating staring at the stranger.

"I said tomorrow."

Finally, the class began, and the students positioned themselves in their designated spots, with Sensei and the old man standing among them.

"Class, we have a visitor. This is Mr. Kreese. He's just an observer. Pretend like he's not even here." He stated, gesturing towards the man to his left.

"Mr. Williams, warm them up."

"Fighting positions!"

In an instant, everyone swiftly on their own feet and assumed a fighting stance.

"Front kick. Yuh!"

"Forward strike. Yuh!"

"Side jab. Yuh!"

Suddenly everyone performed the dab, catching the two older men off guard. Confusion quickly shifted to annoyance and embarrassment on their faces.

However, laugher erupted, and even Ethan chuckled a bit. He soon noticed the displeased expression on both Johnny and Kreese's faces, they were clearly not amused.

"What the hell was that?" Sensei demanded.

"We were just joking around." He stated, as the smile on his face quickly faded away.

"We're got 11 and half months until the next All Valley Tournament."

"Yeah. Besides, we already know how to kick ass." Hawk retorted, sounding a little too cocky. As the others agreed, chuckling to themselves.

"Oh, yeah? Really, huh? So you everything. There's nothing left to learn, right?" Johnny asked, his frustration evident with the antics of his students. Aisha even had the audacity to laugh, prompting him to step closer toward her.

"What's so funny, Miss Robinson?"

"I'm sorry, Sensei. You just wouldn't understand."

"Try me."

"It's a snake-doo." Aisha giggled, loudly.

"What's a snake-doo?"

Everyone began imitating a hissing snake sound and mimicking the movement with their own hands. Sensei and Kreese appeared throughly unamused by the unexpected display.

"QUIET!" He shouted, making them all shut their mouths and stop.

"5:00 a.m. Tomorrow morning. Corner of Fulton and Raymer. You don't show, and you're off the team. Class dismissed."

The very next morning, for some peculiar reason, Johnny had them mixing cement with their bare hands for hours. The intense heat and exhaustion had everyone on the verge of passing out as they now confronted a massive cement truck.

However, whatever Sensei was planning, it was evident that the real challenge had yet to begin. The self-proclaimed aces of the dojo stood at the front, while the others positioned themselves behind them.

"You think winning the All valley gives you
the right to goof off? Well, I've got news for you. Winning one championship doesn't mean spuat. A true champion never stops training himself. You gotta keep moving forward or else, you'll get struck exactly where you are. It's like the cement in this truck. If that drum doesn't start turning. The cement inside will harden and get struck. Is that what you want to happen to you?"

"No, Sensei!" They shouted.

"Good. Then climb up, get inside, and make it spin." He ordered.

Murmurs spread among the students as they all exchanged looks of confusion and disbelief with each other.

"Sensei, we're sorry for messing around." Aisha said, with a worried look on her face.

"We learned our lesson." Hawk agreed, nodded his head.

Johnny seized the folded ladder leading inside theย  tanker and forcefully swung it open, causing some of them to flinch. He wasn't swayed by their apologies.

"GET IN!"

"Sensei, don't this seem kind of dangerous? I mean the entire fumes alone couldโ€”" Ethan started.

"QUIET!"

Their eyes snapped towards the person who own that voice, catching all of them by surprise. Kreese stepped forward and halted in front of them.

"This man led you to the mountaintop? And you questioned him? Look at you. Look at all of you guys."

"I can't believe this pathetic pack of wussies competed in the All Valley, and they let alone won." The old man stated.

"It's an absolute great miracle. Who's responsible for that? Johnny Lawrence. The only best student in the history of Cobra Kai. He was one of mine."

That's when Williams connected all of the pieces together; he had heard something similar from LaRusso. It happened right after Daniel won his first All Valley Tournament, where Mr. Miyagi saved someone being choked to death by their unhinged teacher.

"You were Sensei's Sensei?" Hawk asked, in amazement.

"You better believe it, kid." Kreese said, glancing at Johnny.

"And I'll tell you I've never trained a tougher student in my whole life. So, if you know what's good for you. Then, you'd best be listening to everything he says."

A familiar determined expression appeared on Ethan's face, indicating that he already made up his mind.

"I'll do it."

Johnny nodded, and the boy walked up towards the truck. Hawk, Aisha, and the other students followed closely behind them.

"Holy crap."

They approached the side of the drum, wet cement clinging to their clothes. Hawk was the next one in, carefully navigating to avoid getting his feet stuck. Soon, the other kids followed, and they all stood there, uncertain of what to do next.

"Don't just stand there. You wanna get struck? Move!" Sensei demanded, poking his head into the drum. They moved slowly to the other side and pressed their hands against it.

The kids attempted to push, but the wet concrete dripped from their hands, making their feet slide beneath them. Struggling to move it on their own, frustration mounted as their collective efforts yielded no progress.

"We can do this!" Ethan encouraged.

"Let's all do it at the same." Aisha suggested, as they all nodded their heads in agreement.

"1.... 2.... 3!"

They joined forces, pushing together, and finally, the drum began to move slowly.

"Come on, guys. Faster!" Johnny yelled.

"Guys, keep pushing!" Hawk shouted. They groaned in frustration and pain, as they worked together to get the drum rolling. The pace quickened, and the kids pushed even harder, becoming increasingly covered in wet cement.

As soon as they got out of the truck, their Sensei pulled out a hose, and began spraying them down, attempting to get rid of any lingering concrete.

"You guys should be proud of yourselves. I know I'm proud. Your parents would be proud too if you told them what we did here today, which they wouldn't, but I will." Johnny said, mainly looking at Ethan, in which made him smile.

"You pushed forward like champions. Never stopping. Never being satisfied. Never give up. And if you keep pushing forward, your gonna go places, you never even been dreamed of."

Later, at the Cobra Kai dojo, Johnny sat down in his office, engrossed in paperwork, while Kreese leaned against the wall, arms crossed over his chest.

"Gotta tell you, Johnny. I didn't see that coming. I mean, the whole thing could've gone south really quick. Someone even could've died. Takes guts as a Sensei to put your students through that." The old man complimented him.

"I know what I'm doing." Sensei said, sounding a little annoyed.

"Didn't say you didn't."

"Thanks for giving it an extra kick in the pants today. They definitely needed it."

"Anything I can do to help." Kreese said, as he stood up from the wall and stepped over to Johnny's desk.

"What do you say you and I, uh, go grab a couple of tallboys? My treat."

"No, I'm good." The blonde man declined.

"Come on. You can walk me through tomorrow's lesson."

"You're coming back tomorrow, huh?" He asked, with a raise eyebrow.

"Well, if that's okay with you."

Meanwhile, Ethan opened the front door to Johnny's apartment, holding a plate of salad and spaghetti in his hands.

"Hey, Sensei, are you home?" Williams asked, peeking his head around the room looking for his teacher, but finding it empty. He stepped inside, closing the door behind him.

"Used a spare key that was lying outside the front door to drop off some of our food. My mom doesn't want you eating Slim Jim's for breakfast no more." Ethan shouted loudly, but received no response. He walked over to the kitchen, opened the fridge, and as he was about to close it, he noticed a small picture of a boy in a soccer outfit.

"Robby.... Keene?" He asked with curiosity, glancing down at the photo of the young boy.

Back with Johnny and Kreese, they exited the mini-mart connected to the dojo, each holding cans of beer in their hands, and discussing the random antics of the cashier.

"He's a real son of bitch, isn't he?"

"Dead, my ass." A voice declared, causing the two men to stop and turned around, noticing him standing there on the other side of the sidewalk.

"Well, what do you know? The gangs all back together." Kreese smirked, as Daniel's face drop down in sadness.

"My condolences."

"You're lucky he's not here. How's your knuckles doing there?"

"What's this? All part of your.... your new Cobra Kai, Johnny?" LaRusso asked, in a mocking tone.

"You don't know what you're talking about, man."

"Yeah, right. I've seen plenty." He said, continuing to walk the other way back to his car, but someone stopped him.

"Well, maybe you wanna see a little bit more?" Kreese asked, placing his hand on Johnny's right shoulder, as Daniel turned his back towards them.

"Because this man's gonna make Cobra Kai bigger and better than before."

Johnny forcefully threw the old man's hand off of him and stepped closer up to his rival.

"What are you even doing here?"

"I came here to ask you a question.... and I got my answer. You're both in for a rude awakening." LaRusso stated, taking one last look at both of them before turning back around and walked to the opposite direction.
