[SEASON FOUR: EPISODE SIX]
[PART ONE]

At the Miyagi-Do dojo, Sam practiced her skills on a punching bag while Demetri stood behind it, holding his hands up as she began attacking it more aggressively.

"Easy. Save some for Cobra Kai."

"Yeah. If we're ever allowed to stand up to them."

"Hey, everyone, gather around. I have some news." Daniel called out, stepping out of the house, as all the students walked up to him.

"The All Valley committee just announced big changes for the tournament."

"What kind of changes?" The brunette asked.

"Well, see for yourself. It's a whole new ball game." LaRusso stated, handing the letter to his daughter.

"They're introducing skills competition?"

"Yep."

"Kata, board breaking, weapons display?"

"And there's gonna be a separate girls division. So that means...." Sam started.

"There'll be two All Valley champs." He finished her sentence.

"Wait. What does that mean for the bet with Cobra Kai?"

"There's a Grand Champion trophy for whichever dojo wins the most points."

"All I know the girl's division is mine." She said, handing the letter back to her father.

"That just leaves the skills and the boys. I'm counting on you guys."

"Who, us?" Chris questioned, raising an eyebrow, and pointing his fingers at the rest of the boys.

"Yeah, we're a bunch of Rudys. Sure, we're good for the occasional inspirational moment, but we're not exactly center mat material." Demetri explained.

"We were better off with Ethan and Hawk."

"Or he who shall not be named. Rhymes with 'Dobby'."

"Look, I know you're missing some of your friends." Daniel sighed. "And of course I wish Robby was here. But it's time to put the past behind us, all right? Don't worry."

"By the time the tournament comes around, you're gonna realize this was the best thing that could've happened."

"This is the worst thing that could've ever happened to us." Johnny stated, brandishing a piece of paper in his hand. The All Valley Arena Committee send out letters indicating what was going to be at the tournament and which teams were required to participate.

"Skills competition, bullshit. Kata isn't karate, it's dancing. And what's the carp about a girls division? Thought they were all about woman's lib. They ought to man up and take a punch like the rest of us."

"Hey, Senesi. It sounds like we could find a few female students." Ethan suggested.

"Fine. Do any of you know any girls?" Sensei asked, as the boys all awkwardly stared at him.

"Of course you don't."

"There's this girl from the debate team." Bert said, raising his hand.

"Debate team? We need killers, not more nerds." He scoffed. "All right, go run some laps. Maybe it'll jog your memories. Try not to breathe too much; there's black mold in the corner."

The boys took off running, leaving Williams stayed behind with Johnny.

"I know things got pretty bad over at Migygi-Do, but with some of these new changes with the tournament, I really think having Sammy on our team would definitely help us out." The boy reasoned with him, but the older man wasn't buying any of it.

"Maybe you could talk to Mr. LaRuโ€”"

"I have nothing to say to him. We're better off without him. It's time for us to take care of our own business."

"We'll find a girl champ, don't worry." He reassured him. "All right, now get running."

"Okay." The teen muttered before bowing at him, and took off running to join the others.

Sensei had finally decided it would be a good idea for Ethan to take him to a high school where the girls' sports teams were practicing for their next games.

"Okay. This is it, the location where most of the girls practice." He stated, as him and Johnny walked into the large field area.

"You sure you'll be able to convince them to join our team?"

"Please. When I went to this school, the only thing I was better at than karate, and I was really good at karate, was talking to chicks." The blonde man said, patting the boy on his chest before walking off.

"Watch and learn, Williams. Watch and learn."

"I bet that's not gonna do so well." He mumbled under his breath.

The teen watched as Johnny began jogging around the track, alongside two other runners, also striking up a conversation with them.

He tried with some soccers players, but that didn't go as planned. A few moments later, he came back with a blank expression on his face.

"So what, bad luck caught up with you?" The boy questioned sarcastically, raising an eyebrow.

"No, but I think I got an idea." Sensei stated, shaking his head.

"Williams take your shirt off."

"Excuse me, what?" Ethan asked, his eyes widening in confusion.

"Come on, show off these muscles you got. The chicks will love it." Johnny insisted.

"All right, fine." The boy sighed. "I'll do it just this once. I just hope Sammy doesn't find out about this."

He quickly removed his blue jacket and white shirt, revealing a black tank top underneath.

"And the best part is we have a whole stable of hot young dudes, like my man Ethan over here." Sensei said, gesturing his hand out towards the boy, as a girl looked over at him, prompting him to immediately raise up both his arms, showing off his muscles.

"You like what you see? He's not even in the top five. We got babes and everything, whatever floats your boat."

"I'm asexual." She answered.

"All right, he's a sexual too." The blonde man nodded his head. "Check him out. Total stud."

The girl turned her attention back over to Ethan, who still had his arms up, then he kissed his bicep, trying to impress her, but it didn't go as planned.

"So what do you say? You ready to become an Eagle?"

The two began walking away from the soccer field, unsuccessful in finding a female champion for their dojo.

"I don't get it. I thought girls today were supposed to be tough. Why can't we find anyone for our team?"

"Maybe everyone doesn't need karate in their lives." Ethan stated. "Especially girls who are already on a sports team."

"Hey, Ethan." A voice spoke, prompting them both to immediately turn around to notice a familiar person standing behind them.

"Hey, Moon, what's good?"

"Apparently some prev was creeping on the track team so we're gonna practice inside." She explained.

"What are you doing here?"

"We were just recruiting some students for our new dojo." He answered.

"Eagle Fang Karate." Johnny added.

"Yeah. You know, you should definitely join, if you're up for it." The boy offered.

"Really? Okay. Yeah, that sounds like fun." Moon said.

"Wait. Do.... Do I have to hit anyone?"

"Hell yeah, you do."

"Oh, no, then I-I'm out. I.... I can't do the whole physical aggression thing. But you know you guys should ask my ex." She suggested.

"Hawk? Yeah that's a noโ€”" Ethan started.

"No, my.... My other ex, Piper."

"Oh yeah, that's right. Sammy did mention to me something about you having another ex."

"Piper, she's the best athlete in school and not afraid to get into a fight."

"Sounds like the badass babe we've been looking for." Johnny turned to look at the boy next to him.

"Yeah, you might want to take a different approach with her. Want some pointers?"

"Yeah, definitely." Williams nodded his head
