[SEASON FOUR: EPISODE SIX]
[PART TWO]
After Ethan and Johnny received intel on the whereabouts of Moon's ex-girlfriend, they proceeded to a large local gymnasium where several girls were lined up, preforming tricks and stunts.
The two watched as Piper ran forward, executed a cartwheel, followed by three backflips, and then successfully landed safely back on her feet.
"Wow. She's definitely fast, and strong." The boy examined.
"Girl's a natural Eagle." Sensei added to his statement.
"Oh, which one is yours?" A man asked, gesturing his hand towards the girls.
"Well, that one looks good to me. Haven't talked to her yet though. I'm still working on my approach. Got any advice?" The blonde man asked, as the other man looked visibly horrified before walking away.ย
"Alright, you remember what Moon told us?"
"Yes, I will be awake." Johnny nodded his head, then hurried onto the mat.
"Uh, no. She meant 'be woke'." Ethan reminded him, quickly following right behind him.
"Hello, Piper. I want to introduce you to someone I know. This isโ"
"Sensei John Lawrence of Eagle Fang Karate. Let me tell you why my dojo is perfect for a modern young woman like yourself. We live in a world where you gotta be an alpha to survive. You're either a killer or you're dead meat."
"But you gotta be a man. At Eagle Fang we confront that phrase and make it empowering for all. We teach anyone who identifies as female to embrace their queenly strength and tear down the neo-masculine hierarchy to confront internalized sexism." The blonde man explained to her.
"Sounds inclusive." Piper nodded her head. "But what about non-binary and gender fluid?"
"Yes fluids are crucial. If you don't hydrate, it affects performance."
"And he's apparently really funny." Williams stated, as the girl started laughing.
"Well, actually, I have been meaning to join a dojo. I don't wanna be the last person who doesn't know karate."
"Then today is your lucky day." Johnny said, before handing her a piece of paper.
"Hey, Piper. Come check this out." A girl called out, getting her attention.
"Okay, cool. I'll be there." She said, then turned around to go back to her friends.
"Dude, I can't believe it. How did you manage to pull that off." The boy exclaimed, shockingly.
"You sure you really know what any of those terms meant?"
"Do I look like I pee sitting down?" Sensei questioned, raising an eyebrow, as he walked away.
"What were you even thinking?" Sam questioned, after discovering out that Tory was at her house, speaking to her own mother.
"She didn't smash up the house enough?"
"I know this difficult, butโ" Amanda started.
"You were the one who wanted her to go to jail and you want her back in school?"
"I just don't want this rivalry dominating your life anymore." She stated clearly.
"Dad can't get along with his high school rival for more than two seconds, and I'm supposed to go to school and be best friends with a psycho?" The brunette turned around to face her father, pointing straight at him.
"Johnny's and my differences have nothing to do withโ" Daniel stepped forward, trying to calm her down, but it didn't work.
"Yes, it does. Because you guys just do whatever you want. You don't stop to think that maybe i liked training with Johnny, or maybe I don't wanna get my face torn off again." Sam explained.
"As long as she's in school, she has something to lose. She's not going to hurt you."
"You're just gonna believe her? You'll listen to what she has to say, but nobody listens to what I have to say?"
"God!" She cried out in disbelief before angrily walking back to her room.
Robby walked into the mini-mart beside the Cobra Kai dojo, indenting a little sack and a bottle of water. He greeted the cashier and then made his way over to the snack center. Suddenly, Daniel appeared right now in front of him.
"Robby."
"Of course." Keene scoffed, before throwing a magazine on a counter.
"This'll only take a minute." LaRusso reassured him.
"I can save you that minute. You here because you realized you're training a bunch of wimps and you need a new male champion, and Williams is out of commission."
"Let me guess, your sales pitch is, 'I'm here to rescue you'. 'This isn't who you are, Robby. I can help'. 'Blah, blah, blah, blah'." The boy stated with an emotionless expression on his face.
"I've said all that before. It's time to break the pattern."
"I heard what you did to Eli." Daniel said, stepping forward.
"I just gave him what he deserved and I'll go after Ethan if I have to." Robby said.
"I'm not here to judge you. I'm here to tell you what's gonna happen to you next. Terry Sliver just popped up out of the blue, right?"
"He did the same thing to me. He'll seem decent enough, show you a few moves, and then he'll worm his way in. Chip away at you. And push you past your limits. You'll become stronger than you thought possible, but Sliver won't stop there. Okay?" LaRusso asked, seeing if he got any of that, and surprisingly enough, Terry Sliver appeared right behind them both.
"This man is sick and twisted, and when he's done with you, you won't be you anymore. One day you'll find yourself with some kid's blood all over your shirt and you'll hope it's not too late to change course."
"He's not interested, Mr. LaRusso." A voice spoke, as the two turned around to see the person behind that voice.
"New equipment just got in. Why don't you go check it out?" The man asked, as Robby nodded his head and walked out of the store.
"It's considered unethical to poach students. You had your opportunity with Robby, now he's with us. You should respect that." Sliver stated.
"Respect. Resโ" Daniel stopped himself from going any further.
"You are not a Sensei. You're a con man. And manipulating people to turn them into something they're not."
"I didn't turn you into anything, Danny Boy. I only brought out what was already inside."
"That's bullshit." LaRusso scoffed. "You tortured me."
"Please. You were a hothead." Terry chuckled lightly.
"All I had to do was wind you up and get out of the way. And...."
"If you're being honest with yourself, you know you liked it. You were powerful, free. You just don't wanna admit there's always been a little Cobra Kai in you. I'll do the same exact thing with Ethan, once I have him in my possession and you won't be able to stop me. I'll make him into a true warrior." The old man explained, stepping up closer to him.
"We'll settle this on the mat." Daniel responded before walking out of the mini-mart.
"Although, one of us will be out of business."
Meanwhile, Johnny and his Eagle Fang students all gathered around at an abandoned warehouse, where they were waiting for Piper to show up. But after quite a while, they all started to become inpatient.
"All right, so she's a little late, no big deal. Just a few minutes." Sensei reassured them.
"Uh, 20 minutes, actually." Mitch said, as the blonde man turned around and gave him an angry look on his face.
"Alright, look, I'll try dming her. To see where she is at." Ethan suggested, pulling out his phone from his back pocket. He opened Instagram and clicked on her profile. Suddenly, his face dropped in disbelief.
"Oh, great."
"What?" Johnny questioned. The boy held up his phone for everyone to see, then pressed on her story. Piper and her friends were holding up Cobra Kai merchandise, smiling in amazement.
"Nothing but the best for the best. Can't wait to kick ass with team Cobra Kai."
"She joined Cobra Kai?"
"It looks like they made themselves designer gear for all their new students. And they've got a bunch of new recruits."ย
"Yeah, great. So, that was a big waste of time. I even learned feminism." Johnny scoffed in annoyance.
"We can't just that give up, easily. If we want to win first place, then we have to compete in the girl's division."
"With who, Williams? We don't have Cobra Kai's money. And have no chance at finding a champion." Sensei stated.
"Look, I wasn't a champion when you and Mr. LaRusso met me. Okay?" Ethan asked, walking up to him.
"The two of you made me into one, saw something in me that no one else did. Maybe you just have to see that in someone different. We should think outside the box."
"Everybody start thinking outside the box!" The blonde man sighed.
"Whatever that means."
The next day at West Valley High School, Bert had told Ethan about a girl on the debate team because he believed that she would be a good fighter, and now they watched the scene play out.
"Capital punishment is a legal pentode the US state of California. As of March 2019, further executions are halted by an official moratorium ordered by government officials." The brunette girl explained. Johnny suddenly snuck inside the building without getting caught and took a seat next to two of his students.
"Sensei, what are you doing here? I thought you said Debate was for nerds?" The boy questioned.
"It is. Which is why we're ditching it. You're right. I'm not giving up on the girl's competition. I'm thinking outside the box. Look." Sensei stated, and opened a black duffel bag.
"Alright." Ethan looked inside and began taking out whatever was inside the bag. He pulled out a blonde wig.
"Dude. What in the...."
"You ever see the movie 'Ladybugs'?" He asked, but no one answered.
"Anyway, this coach, the guy gets no respect, he's got this all-girl soccer team that totally sucks. So, he gets his stepson to dress like a chick and they start winning."
"And you want me to dress up like a girl?" Williams looked completely confused.
"What? No. I need you to win the boys competition. I'm thinking of Penis Breath. Not the best fighter, but he stands a shot against the chicks. What do you think?"
"Um.... I'm starting to think of a lot of things right now. This might be the worst idea you've ever come up with." He answered, rubbing his face uncomfortably.
"My opponent is full of crap. His evidence is garbage, his arguments don't make sense, and I was bored to death." Devon stated, staring at the boy across from her.
"Which is ironic, considering we're debating the death penalty."
"Uh, you're not gonna deduct points for lack of decorum?" The boy asked.
"Screw decorum." She scoffed loudly. "Wanna know what I really think of the death penalty?"
The brunette marched over to the podium, grabbed his book, and ripped it in half.
"My book!"
"Choke on it. I cede my time." She declared, stepped back over to her side of the room.
"Sensei, that's the girl I told you about. She loves extracurriculars." Bert stated.
"Can it, Bert." Johnny shut him up and glanced back up at the stage.
"I just found the most badass girl in the Valley."
