[SEASON ONE: EPISODE FIVE]

Over the next few months, Ethan would go through many different versions of training. Sometimes, he would do push-ups on
his knuckles in his bedroom.
And other times, the boy would practice with a pitching machine that shoots flying baseballs at him.
Very early in the morning, he would go on a morning run, and making his way up to a big hill. Williams spirited up the mountain really fast, stopping at the top to do more push-ups on his knuckles before running back to his mother's apartment.
Later in the dojo, Johnny was demonstrating a self-defense technique with Ethan during their training session.
"What does a cobra do?" He asked, as the boy somehow manage his way out of his grip, and elbowing him in the stomach, then escaped.
"Slither!"
After successfully escaping from Johnny's armlock, the boy engaged sparring with him. He managed to several hits and even executed his own leg.
"Looks like you've gotten too old." He said, smirking and Sensei quickly activated the punching machine, shooting a ball straight at the boy's ear.
"Hey! That was totally unfair!" Ethan screamed out in pain.
"You want a fair fight? Dream on. Your enemies won't play by the rules."
"But.... my ear." He whined, standing up from the floor.
"What if that baseball was your enemy's friend coming at you from behind? You have to be prepared for anything." Johnny said, ignoring the pain coming from his ear.
"Your ear, looks fine. Don't be such a baby."
The door bell rang, as several women carrying mats in their hands walked and inside the dojo.
"Hello."
"Aw, shit." He mumbled.
"What the?" Ethan asked, looking around at the women confused.
"Uh, I had to sublet the dojo for a few hours, just until we get more students." He said, and the both of them watched as one of the ladies placed a poster over the cobra Kai logo.
At the Country Club, Sam was hanging out at the buffet table, having just arrived with both of her parents. The only reason, she went was that because she didn't have anything else planned.
"By the way, thanks for coming. Thought you were gonna be out with your friends tonight." Amanda said, standing next to her daughter, grabbing a plate, and seeing the food, that they placed out.
"Yeah, um.... I don't know."
"Yas and Moon haven't been returning my texts. We were supposed to go to a concert together, then I got this." Sam held up her phone, for her mother to see, where a video of Moon and Yasmine was playing of themselves having a great time.
"Suck it, bitches!"
"Yeah, maybe it's better for you not to be there with them."
"Anyways, we're always happy to have.... Anthony! Stop drinking the butter!" Amanda yelled from across the room, and ran towards her son.
Meanwhile, back at the dojo, Ethan was punching and kicking Johnny, who was hearing protective gloves so he wouldn't hurt his hands with every single time the boy swung his fist at him.
"What's the second rule of the way of the fist?"
"Strike first!" He shouted, immediately, and not even missing a hit.
"That's right! There's only one reason to hit someone. To inflict pain. Striking hard is about giving it your all." Johnny said, just as the door bell rang, making both of them turned to see someone by the front door.
"What the hell? No yoga until five. No matter how bad you need it."
"Um, I'm actually here for karate. I saw your website. It said there was supposed to be a session today." The girl said, walking closer to the two, but better known as Aisha Robinson.
"I appreciate you coming in, there are no girls in Cobra Kai."
"Why not?" She asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"Same reason they aren't in the army. Doesn't make sense."
"Sensei, there's something really important I need to you show you in the office." Ethan said, as both him and Johnny turned around, then bowed, making their way towards the office.
"Don't give me this sexist bullshit. Women aren't meant to fight. All of them have very tiny bones." He said, as they sat down, and the boy sighed in disbelief.
"I thought you were desperate for new students?"
"Yeah, but this isn't a knitting class. It's a dojo." Johnny said, with a serious look on his face.
"Look, everyone at school call her names, make fun of her, all that stuff." Williams reasoned with him.
"That's what happens when you eat a box of twinkles every day." The blonde man said, and the boy shook his head, because this conversation wasn't going anywhere.
"Her dad's Isaiah Robinson."
"So your saying it's genetic? Her love of twinkles comes from her dad?" Johnny asked, looking really confused.
"No. I'm saying her family's freaking loaded! And she's a worthy paying customer. But you hopefully don't need the money, right?" He asked, and after a few seconds of silence, Sensei made up his decision, then walked back to the main dojo.
"Okay, take your shoes off. Hop on the mat." Johnny said, as Aisha slipped off her shoes and stepped on the mat.
"After further review, I've decided to allow female students. But if you wanna be in Cobra Kai, you can't act like a girl."
"What do you mean? How do girls act?" She asked.
"Don't give me that. You know, all emotional, loud, complain-y. Never letting you finish a sentence."
"Well, I know a few guys who can justโ"
Aisha started.
"QUIET!" Johnny shouted loudly, making the girl shut her mouth.
"My student tells me you've been harassed at school."
"Mostly online. I get mean texts and emails sent to me. Make not wanna go." She said.
"And who sends you these messages?" He asked, taking a step closer towards her.
"Kids create fake accounts, and they tell me things like I'm ugly and that I should kill go
myself."
"Oh my god. What a bunch of pussies!" Sensei yelled.
"Back in my day, if you wanted to tease someone, you did it to their face. There was honor, respect. These geeks hiding behind their computers, what a bunch of spineless losers." He said, as Aisha smirked in response.
"You're not afraid of these losers, are you?"
"No."
"You gonna take shit from them?"
"No."
"Good, because when I'm done with you, you're gonna be sending a message back. Only it's not gonna be with your keyboard. With your fists." Johnny said, placing both of his fists up towards her.
Later, Sam met up with Yasmine and Moon to find out why they been ignoring her for the last few days. Since she broke up with Kyler, She opened the door as the two girls screamed to death.
"What the hell, Sam?" She cried out.
"We thought you were a poor person."
"Why have you guys been avoiding me?" Sam asked.
"Kyler told us what you said." Yasmine said, facing her direction.
"Wait, what did he said?" She asked, curiosity.
"I don't take notes, but pretty much that you think you're better than us. You were no one before we let you in."
"You don't even electrolocize." Moon said, shaking her head.
"I never said a word about earlier. That's not what went down. Ethan will tell you everything that happened." Sam said, between glancing between them.
"Oh, is that the imagery boy you keep talking about? And Kyler basically told us what went down." Yasmine mumbled quietly.
"At the movie theater? That's yucky." Moon said in a disgusted tone.
"Leave him out of this! Whatever he told you guys was a totally lie."
"Sam, just say you're sorry, and we can be friends again." She said softly.
"Or don't, and get the hell out of this car!" The blonde yelled, making Sam get of the vehicle and left the door wide opened.
The very next following day, Ethan showed up at the dojo. It was Aisha's first karate lesson, and Johnny had him stand in front of her as they were about to spar with one another.
"Okay, let's see what you got, Ms. Robinson. Face me, bow. Face each other, bow." He said, as the kids turned towards and bowed.
"Mr. Williams, show her everything you've learned."
"Wait, a second. I don't think this is okay, Sensei." The boy said, looking hesitantly to hit a girl.
"You don't think what's right?"
"I don't know, she's a girl. I wouldn't...."
"And? I thought you said women were equal to men." Johnny retorted.
"You're right, I did say that. But, I didn't mean it like. What, I really meant...." He started, as this conversation was getting weirder by the minute.
"Then show her women are equal, and give her everything you got."
"Wait. I just wanna remind everyone this is my first day." Aisha reasoned with them.
"Your enemies don't care what day is. They prey on weakness. If you wanna beat them, you gotta conquer your fears and jump first into the fire."
"Are you ready, Ms. Robinson?" Johnny asked, and she slightly nodded her head.
"Mr. Williams. Fight!"
"Don't just stand there. Fight!" He shouted, as they both got in a fighting stance.
"I'm very sorry for what I'm about to do." Ethan said, kicking her in the stomach, throwing her down on the ground.
"Oh my goddess! Aisha, are you alright?" The boy panicked, then went to help her. But, she tackled him to the floor, before jumping down on both of his ribs.
"That's my ribs...."
"The girl's a natural cobra." Johnny said, looking very impressed by her preform. Just then, loudly people started shouting from next door.
"All right. Students, wait here. Williams, you're in charge." He said, as he walked of the dojo, and went to attend the madness coming from next door.
The next day at West Valley High School was definitely weird to say the least, with Kyler spreading rumors about him and Sam at the movie theater. But there was more, as she attacked him for literally no reason.
In the cafeteria, Sam was given very nasty looks from everyone, while looking for a place to sit. She began walking over to both Moon and Yasmine, but she threw her bags down on the two empty seats.
Then, she decided to change her direction, and stepped to a table where Aisha was sitting alone. For only a second, she looked up at her disgusted.
"Don't even think about it."
"Come on, I need a place to sit." Sam said, desperately, but the girl ignored her.
"You can go sit with Kyler, I heard that he doesn't mind you suck." Aisha said, as the girl looked disappointed and angry, and stormed away from her. She angrily walked over to Kyler and his friend's table.
"Think it's funny spreading lies about me?"
"What are you talking about? We saw a movie and that's it. Well, maybe I saw a little bit more than you."
"Yeah, we heard you got pretty chocked up." Brucks said, as Sam pushed a lunch tray down on the floor, making everyone gasped in shock.
Suddenly, Ethan just arrived in the cafeteria with Demteri and Eli walking behind him, and was obviously observing the whole scene, slightly looked around with a worried look on his face.
"Hey, guys! You know that billboard with a big-ass dick on it? I guess Sam takes after her dad." Kyler said, as everyone gasped and she was about to get in a fighting stance, but someone stopped her.
"Kyler!" The boy yelled, harshly throwing his food tray on the table, and slowly walked towards them.
"Why don't you just shut up and left her alone."
"Want another beat down, Shithead? I'm ready for your lame ass karate this time." Park said, shoving him backwards.
"No, it's not some lame ass karate." Williams said, as the Asian boy swung his fist out, who easily caught his arm, and held it in place.
"It's Cobra Kai." He said, punching him in
the face, making everyone gasp and take out their phones to record what was about to happen.
The bully stumbled backward, then had a chance to tackle Ethan over the lunch table, taking him by surprise. He grabbed him and threw him into another one but still didn't let go. Kyler dragged him off and held him in a headlock.
Williams rew furious and delivered a back elbow strike, which him loosen his grip on him. He gained the upper hand, bent Kyler's arm down, and he strike another punch on his head. Then, the boy executed a roundhouse kick over his back, making Kyler topple over the table, disoriented.
"NO MERCY!" Aisha shouted from someone in the lunchroom.
Sam caught Brucks creeping behind Ethan, and she was about to call it out, but somehow it seemed like he'd already sensed him coming. He simply dodged the punch, and with a low sweep, his enemy fell down on the ground. However, another one of those stupid friends attacked him from behind and latched around his neck.
Luckily, the boy only struggle for a second,
elbowed his groin and that was enough for the boy to let him go. Then he sends a kick to another one who came running at him. He did a quick spinning kick to the previous guy that tried to elbowed him.
He quickly ran towards a table, and rolled over, swiftly grabbing a food tray as Brucks and the others marched behind him. He pushed a chair with his foot, making them fall on their buttocks. Then, Ethan avoided a sudden attack from another one and slammed the tray over on his back.
One came in to his side, and he smashed him with the tray a few times. Sam noticed the other guy who regained conciseness. He ran after him again, but the boy just slammed it over the guy's head, and then at his head.
Ethan struggled against Brucks, and he jumped on top of him, quickly using all of his strength, to throw him down to the ground. The students let out low gasps, as Kyler started getting up.
He ran towards the table, and even proceeded on having Brucks with a few other guys on the floor as bridge. Williams prepared for an attack that never came because he kicked him in his face, smashing the food tray down making him fall down on the ground completely unconscious.
The kids broke out in cheers and started capping their hands together. Ethan's eyes drifted towards them, while his gaze mainly focused on Sam, who looked happy, and kept smiling at him, like she used to did with Kyler, and he just saved her.
"Hey! Get down from there." Blatt yelled, pulling him off the table and to the principal's office.
Later in the day, Ethan was back in the dojo, explaining to Sensei about what went down at the school cafeteria. Johnny was willing to listen in on the boy's explanation.
"All four of them? Even that big dumb one?"
"Yeah, It like all happened so fast. Everything just came together, so fast. I was blocking. I even anticipated and slithered the situation." He said.
"Huh. Your mom's gonna kill both of us. If she finds out."
"Well, she would have if she knew. When the school called, my grandma answered. I've never seen her this proud, before. She won't even say a word."
"All right, let me get this straight." Johnny said, getting up from his seat.
"You took all the lessons I taught you.... You used them.... To straight up beat the shit out of those punks?" He asked, walking closer to him.
"Yeah, pretty much."
"Follow me." Johnny said, as they both went outside the dojo to his car. He opened the truck, and what was revealed to be an old white training gi, with the Cobra Kai symbol impressed on the back.
"I wore this when I was training for my first tournament back in '81. I want you to have it." He said, grabbing the gi and handed it to Ethan.
"Are you for real?"
"Hell yeah. You earned it." Johnny said, as they shook hands, then pulled one another in a hug.
And little did they know, Robby just arrived at the dojo, standing nearby in the shadows, butย mainly look at Ethan in anger, and disappointment.
