[SEASON SIX: EPISODE TWO]

"Not all of us have to learn how to walk twice in one lifetime. But we do all have to learn how to pick ourselves up when we're down and stand firmly on our own two feet. In the end, I learned that first steps are harder than the second time around. I hope my next journey brings me to San Francisco university." Ethan was on Johnny's laptop, reading his college application for San Francisco university out to his family.

"I'm so proud you." Elizabeth said, placing her hands on her son's shoulders.

"I'm gonna cry."

"This is brilliant. Now I'm crying too."

"Go more for the jugular at the end." Johnny pointed out.

"They'll be begging you to go there."

"Got it." The boy nodded, before looking over at Robby, wanting his opinion about his speech for San Francisco university.

"What do you think, bro?"

"It's great. Even though I'm kind of the bad guy in it."

"What? I'll change your name. Iโ€”"

"No, dude. I'm.... I'm kidding." He reassured him, calmly.

"It's not like I'm applying to San Francisco. Or anywhere, really."

"Come on, Robby. You have great futures ahead of you, both of you. When we win the Sekai Taikai, doors will flying open for all of us."

Lois started hugging her grandson around his neck, as if she was having a meltdown. She really wasn't; she was just proud.

"It's okay, grandma. I'm not leaving yet."

"Hey, hey, easy with the waterworks." Lawrence thought she was crying on his keyboard. When they realized she wasn't, they look up to see the ceiling starting to leak water.

And not even a second later, the pipes came out of the ceiling and started leaking water onto the kitchen table.

"Grab some bowls!"

"It's a sewage pipe."

Robby went to the kitchen counter and grabbed some bowls, placing them on the kitchen table, hoping that the water would fill up them. However, the water kept coming down.

"Oh, it smells like shit."

A few minutes later, the Jones family grabbed everything they needed from their apartment and moved over to Johnny's place until their apartment was repaired.

"Yeah, well, it's unlivable. When are you gonna fix it?" Lawrence asked while on the phone with a friend who was a plumber.

"That's bullshit, Sully."

He hang up the phone, and went to his bedroom, where Elizabeth was putting her clothes away.

"He said he's working on it."

"Johnny, we have to look at the big picture. We're a family of five, almost six. And now we're down to two bedrooms."

Ethan walked inside the apartment with a cardboard box of his things in his hands but stopped when he overheard Johnny and Elizabeth's conversation about what to do next.

"And Ethan wants to go to a big college we don't have the money for. How in the world are we gonna make this work?"

"It's like I've been saying. The tournament will fix this. All right? It's gonna bring in students and sponsorships."

"The tournament is still months away. What do we do in the meantime?"

"I hear you. I'm gonna take care of it." He reassured her.

Over at West Vally High School, students gathered around the media center because colleges were handing out flyers to everyone about what every school had to offer.

"Seniors are invited to the student center for a lunchtime college fair. Representatives from four-year colleges...."

Ethan walked away from the San Francisco University booth with a brochure in his hands, and not a minute later, Sam appeared right by his side.

"Hey."

"Hey. Wow, you got a lot of brochures."

"Yeah, okay, but don't be worried. At least three are close to San Francisco University." She reassured him.

"Okay. I mean, I haven't even gotten approved yet."

They walked for a moment before they were greeted by Hawk and Demetri, who walked up to them.

"Hey!"

"What's up?"

"All of our trails and tribulations of nerdom have finally come to this. We're the belles of the ball."

"Is that what we are now?"

"Oh, yes, my friend. They are fumbling around our dresses trying to cop a feel of our tantalizing brains."

"Okay, that's where I leave you." Sam said, before kissing her boyfriend on the lips quickly and walked away from them.

"Good luck."

"Thanks, Sammy."

As she left the boys, Williams turned his attention back to the Binary Brothers.

"These vultures are wasting their time though. Eli and I had our sights set on MIT for years."

"Are you applying early decision for San Francisco University?"

"Yeah, most definitely." He nodded his head, before opening a brochure with San Francisco University on it.

"But I should be thinking about looking into some safety schools also. San Francisco's pretty expensive."

"Hey, fam." A man with glasses spoke up, getting their attention.

"You bros looking to post up at a college a little closer to home, or what's the word?"

"Well, Gary. The word is we'll be taking our brodeo on the roadeo. But, um, thank you for all of your bro-vertures." Demetri replied, sarcastically.

"All right, bet. But safety schools get a bad rap. They keep you closer to home, set you for a big school later, and they take that weight off Mom and Pop's wallet."

Williams snickered lightly before grabbing a brochure from their booth.

"Thanks."

The three boys caught up with a group of people who were taking a tour of the College of The Valley.

"Here. You'll see our multi-level library, the fourth largest in San Fernando Valley."

"What are we doing here?" Demetri asked his friends.

"If the University of Phoenix wasn't online, it'd be this."

"Relax, okay? I like to keep my options open."

"Yo, bro, go long!"

"The chemistry lab was rebuilt in 1993โ€”"

"Got it."

The guide man was cut off as he was tackled to the ground by a large boy who had caught a frisbee. Ethan's eyes widened in surprise when he recognized it was Brucks.

"Oh, sick grab, boy!" Kyler jogged over to his friend and pulled him into a bro hug.

"Yeah!"

"Yeah!"

"You just got Brucksed!" He helped the tour guide up on his feet before turning his attention to some familiar faces in front of him.

"Oh. What's up, guys?"

"Kyler, you go to school here?"

"Nah, it's more like This school comes to me. You know what I mean?" The boy laughed.

"What's up, Brucks? You.... You look good, man." Hawk greeted.

"Thanks, man. All new teeth. Swallowed the old ones when youโ€”" Brucks showed him his new teeth, with a hint of calmness in his voice. Eli remembered the time he beat the living crap out of his former bully at Cobra Kai and had thisย  guilty look on his face.

"Yeah, I'm really sorry about that, dude. I.... I was in a bad place, then, andโ€”"

"It's all good, buddy. Play karate games, win karate prizes, you know?" The two laughed together.

"Hey, it helped me get my life on track. Ad meliora. 'Toward better things'."

"Sick." The spiky-haired boy nodded, although he looked a bit uncomfortable.

"See you at the house, Ky?" The large boy turned to his friend and patted his shoulder before walking off.

"Bet."

"Wait, so you and Brucks both go here. That makes sense." Demetri said, sounding a little confused.

"No, he's just visiting." Kyler shook his head in response.

"He goes to MIT."

"I'm sorry. Did you say MIT?"

"Yeah, and he's killing it too." He replied before wrapping an arm around the boy in front of him.

"So, what's up guys? We hanging out or what?"

A few hours later, everyone at the college was invited to a frat house party, with Kyler and Brucks laughing and drinking around a group of girls.

"Whoo! I love college!"

"Woo-hoo!"

"Whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo!"

"Bro, you wanna see a party trick?"

Meanwhile, Ethan, Hawk and Demetri stood together in the crowd with cups of vodka in their hands.

"I can't believe Brucks got into MIT." Eli said, shaking his head in disbelief.

"And was he speaking Latin earlier?"

"I don't know. Maybe your fists unlocked his dormant brain."

"Even after everything that happened, Kyler still lands on his feet."

"Hey, shitbreath!"

Kyler tensed up at the voice coming from behind him. The three boys turned their heads just as a frat boy came over, eyes on the boy in front of him. He took the cup out of his hands.

"Did I tell you, you could drink my beer, bitch boy?"

The Asian boy shook head as the guy took a sip of his beer.

"N-No, sir, Mr. Zenker."

Williams looked at Park with wide eyes, shocked that he would let anyone talk to him like that, and was even more surprised at how he responded so nervously.

The frat boy spat out his drink, almost getting it on the Asian's boy in front of him, before pushing the cup onto Kyler's chest.

"That shit is stale. Go make me some jungle juice."

"Yes, sir, Mr. Zenker." He nodded quickly and walked away from the scene. Ethan decided to follow after him to try to talk some sense into him, eventually finding him near the kitchen, where he was mixing a huge barrel with all different kinds of drinks.

"Dude, you're gonna let him talk to you like that?"

"Nah. That's just how they talk about here, bro. You know, we good."

"But once I get done pledging, I'm gonna run this shit."

"Okay."

"Tell.... Hey.... Yo, hold up. Hold up." Kyler turned around and grabbed a cup from the kitchen counter behind him, before turning to the barrel of different drinks and started filling the cup and handed it to the boy in front of him.

"Taste this, bro."

"'Trash juice'." Williams muttered with a chuckle and took a sip of the drink. Not even a second later, he spit the drink out of his mouth.

"That is disgusting."

"My boy! That's what I'm talking about! That's how you know it's ready." He laughed, smacking the boy's back.

"Spikes! Spikes! Spikes! Spikes! Spikes! Spikes! Spikes! Spikes! Spikes!" Everyone chanted loudly as Hawk stood in the center of the room, chugging on a beer cup with two cups dangling off the spikes of his blue mohawk.

The crowd cheered as he finished his third cup. He placed the cup on his front spike and started cheering with the crowd around him.

"Yeah!"

"I don't know nothing about San Francisco University, Williams, but this place is lit!" Kyler cheered loudly.

"When you get here next year, I'm gonna have it on lockdown."

"Are you sure you're getting into this frat?"

"'Sure'? Bro, does the Pope shit with a funny hat?"

"Kyler, look, I gotta tell you something."

"Where's my vacuum?" Zenker looked around for Kyler and ended up finding him standing next to Ethan.

"Oh shit."

"Yo, vacuum. Clean this up."

The Asian boy looked down at the ground, seeing it covered with popcorn and licorice. He looked up back at the frat boy before shaking his head.

"Nah, man, I'm good."

"Hey!" The boy with the hat yelled, making everyone in the room turned to him, and he stepped forward to Park.

"Listen, Shitbreath. You want in, get on the ground and be the vacuum."

Williams furrowed his eyebrows, and taking a step between him and Kyler.

"Is he getting in, dude?"

"How about you stay out of this?"

Kyler got down on the floor and Zenker came up behind him, grabbing his legs, raising them in the air.

"Suction mode, on."

The Asian boy lowered himself further on the ground, eating popcorn and licorice off the floor.

The room started to fill up with laughter. He ate about six pieces of food before someone decided to intervene.

"That's enough!"

"Tell him, the truth. I mean the whole truth." Ethan said, as Park got up from the floor and spitted the food out of his mouth.

"The truth about what, man?"

"Well, we had a good run." Zenker replied with a smirk on his face.

"The truth is that you are never, and I mean never, getting into this frat."

"Your loss." Kyler turned around and grabbed a random girl's drink, before raising his hand and pouring the alcohol on the boy in front of him. Since he was wearing a hat, the drink started coming down to his shirt.

The frat boy went to throw a punch, Park caught it, twisting his arm behind his back.

"Bitch, don't you know I know karate?" He shouted, and punched Zenker in the face. The punch send him flying to the ground just as a group of frat boys came running to him.

Williams quickly turned around and kicked his leg out in the air, making the frat boys flinch back in fear.

"Who else wants some of this shit?"

"Woo-hoo!" Brucks yelled, running up to two of them, grabbing them, and running into the wall.

"I love this kind of party!"

Zenker grabbed a glass bottle, raising it up in the air to hit Ethan. Kyler jumped in and twisted the boys arm, holding it in place.

He kicked his leg up, knocking the bottle out of the frat boy's hand, making it launch into the air. Park caught it before slamming it against Zenker's head, knocking him down on the ground.

"Let's go!"

Hawk and Demetri ran over to the two, making sure they were alive and well.

"Let's freaking go, man!"

"Hey. Where's Brucks?"

The four all turned their heads at the sound of someone grunting and saw Brucks on the other side of the room, lifting a boy off the ground before throwing him down to a foldable table in front of them.

"Oh shit!"

"Get Brucksed!" He looked down at the boy on the ground as everyone else cheered, throwing their arms in the air.

"Yeah!"

"Someone should call campus security."

"Let's go, let's go, let's go." Hawk said, as the five of them ran out of there as fast as they could.

After the frat party was over, Eli and Demetri wanted to get more information about MIT from Brucks, who was playing a Pac-man arcade machine. Meanwhile, Kyler and Ethan were in the lunchroom, having a discussion about what happened after he left West Valley High School.

"Yeah, my dad, he was super pissed when I didn't when I didn't get into any schools. I agree. I slacked off. I'm a freaking idiot, man." Park laughed, but he sounded a little upset.

"You know, I had goals. I had dreams. I just didn't stick with them. You know what I mean?"

"Yeah." Williams nodded in agreement.

"I do actually."

"Like, I could have gone to a great party school, not a safety party school. The safety is always gonna be there, bro. You gotta chase after that damn dream."

"Wow, that's.... Some pretty good advice, Kyler."

"You think West Valley High will let me back in?" The Asian boy asked.

"Why would you think...."

"Hey, are you the guys that got into the fight at the Theta Omega house?"

The two turned their heads to see a group of people standing in front of their table.

"Uh...."

"Hey, those guys are assholes. They deserve it. Did someone really knock out Zenker?" The frat boy asked, looking between the two.

"Yeah, man. Uh, say less, man. That was me." Kyler replied with a chuckle, as the boys fist-bumped him.

"Dude. Legend!"

"Listen, man. If.... If you're looking for another house, you're in. No hazing. Just, uh, as long as you can be that badass all the time."

"Yeah?" He nodded, looking almost excited.

"I used to kick this guy's ass all the Valley."

"Tell them, Williams."

"Yeah, it's.... It's true."

"You should come by tomorrow." The boy said before he and friends left the table.

Ethan and Kyler turned to looked at each other as he congratulated him on getting in.

"Nice job, man."
