[SEASON TWO: EPISODE TEN]
[PART TWO]

Elizabeth anxiously waited outside the operating room, desperate for updates on her son Ethan's condition. She anticipated the doctors' arrival to learn more about what had happened.

It's excruciating to witness him lying in that bed, seemingly alone and asleep. However, the harsh reality is that he's unconscious, and that's far a reassuring sign.

"You've experienced quite a few of these situations. Therefore, you understand that the next 24 hours are crucial." The doctor stated, with Johnny, who was right beside them, essentially family.

"But he's gonna pull through, right?" He asked, with hope, receiving a reassuring look from her.

"We're doing everything we can." She stated, but it wasn't sufficient to Elizabeth's worry about Ethan. The doctor walked away, and her mother pulled her into a hug, providing comforting solaceย  to her daughter.

"I'm so sorry."

"Sorry? Sorry?" She mocked angrily, stepping forward toward him.

"Before you, Ethan was a good kid. He tried his best to avoid fights. Now look what you did!" Elizabeth shouted, doing her best not to let her voice from cracking

"Honey, clam down, please." Louis tried to reason with her, but she shook it off and looked back at him.

"I never want to see you again." She stated, walking away from Ethan's room, with her mother following right behind her.

Sam was in a hospital room, getting her injures checked out. Tory gave her, three scratches blew her upper arm, and with her parents with there.

"It's all right now, okay? Everything's gonna be all right." Daniel said, comforting her by rubbing her arm after the doctor finished up stitching up his daughter's upper arm.

"I'm gonna make sure this girl gets expelled permanently." Amanda stated.

"I don't care about Tory, all I want is for Ethan to be okay." She said, tears running down her face.

"I can't believe Robby would do that."

"It's all my fault!" She cried out.

"No, don't say that, Sam. I taught the three of you karate and it's not on you." He reasoned with his daughter. Suddenly, her phone started ringing. Daniel went over to the nightstand and picked it up.

"Honey, who is it?"

"It's.... a voicemail from Ethan." He said, as Amanda and Sam looked completely shocked.

"Play it, Dad. Please." She pleaded, and her father pressed the button play to the message.

"Hey Sammy, it's Ethan. Look... I wanted you to know that we're gonna be okay, and there's no need to worry about me. Because, they're something I've been trying to say, but I never did because I didn't know how you would react."

"So, I'm just going to say it anyway. You were always the other half of my heart. And I think what I'm trying tell you is, no matter what happens to me, I want you to keep growing, keep loving and keep moving forward for me...."

The voicemail had ended, and Sam started crying even more. Amanda pulled her into a hug for comfort.

Johnny stepped away from Ethan's room and made his way over to the elevator. It opened up to reveal Daniel standing inside. They glanced at one another for a moment, then he walked in, standing next to him. The elevator descended to the bottom floor.

The blonde man exited the building and walked towards his car. Starting up the car, he made his way to the Cobra Kai dojo.

He pulled out his keys, inserting them into the keyhole. Johnny noticed it was already unlocked, appearing shock. He opened the door and stepped inside.

Sensei heard chanting coming from the storeroom. He followed the sound all the way toward the back.

He looked over and noticed that all of his students were in their gis. Taking a closer look, he immediately saw Kresse standing in front of them.

"Class! We have a visitor." The old man stated, and they instantly stopped what they were doing, placing their hands behind their backs. Then, turned to notice Johnny.

"What the hell do you think your doing?"

"What does it look like? I'm teaching my students." Kreese replied.

"Your students?"

"You let them down went they needed you the most. Somebody had to remained them what it takes to win." He said, and Johnny stepped forward, heading for him. But the kids stood in front him, blocking in his path.

"After everything I did for you?"

"Ethan's in the hospital because of you. He showed mercy to Robby Keene because of you. If he dies, that's on you." Hawk said firmly.

"I did warn you about this. I told you not to show weakness."

"Get out." Johnny demanded.

"This is my dojo." Kreese shrugged.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. When you were out of town, I had a little chat with the landlord. It turns out he doesn't like you that much. But you know the problem with those handshake deals. There are no guarantees."

"You can't do this."

"Of course I can. I founded Cobra Kai. It belongs to me. It always has and it always will." The old man stated.

"I will never let my students lose. Even if they have to learn the hard way."

"One day, you'll thank me for this."

"This was a mistake." He said, looking around the room at each of his students.

"You want Cobra Kai? It's yours." Johnny said, a crack appearing in his voice. He turned around and walked out of the dojo, now giving it to Kresse.

Daniel drove back to the hospital, holding a plastic bag of Sam's favorite sandwich. He walked over to her bed, only to notice it was just his wife, sitting there with her phone.

"Where is she? I got her favorite sandwich from il Tranmezzino." He said, dropping it down on the edge of the bed and glanced at Amanda.

"Waiting for her to get back from her x-rays. Now the doctor thinks she might have a broken rib." She replied.

"Oh god." LaRusso gasped in shock as she stood up her chair, stepping over to him.

"This has to stop, Daniel." She pleaded.

"I know, you're right. I know. I swear. I'm not gonna let Cobra Kai get away with this."

"Enough with Cobra Kai!" Amanda shouted angrily.

"Don't you see what this stupid rivalry has done? Our daughter is in the hospital. Ethan's in the hospital. No more karate."

"Amanda, I know you're right."

"No more karate. It's over." She said, walking past him and out of the hospital.

Johnny drove his car up towards the beach, parking it in place. He sat down on the sand, with a beer bottle in his hand. He looked out at the water, reliving some memories that remained him of Ethan.

"I wore this when I was training for my first tournament back in '81. I want you to have it."

"Tell me you're the man?"

"I'm the man!"

"To Cobra Kai."

"Every accept defeat."

"One of the best things in my life, has been teaching you. I'll always be on your side and I'll always have your best interests at heart."

Daniel stepped inside the Miyagi-Do dojo, taking everything down and putting it back in storage. He walked over to a black and white picture or Mr. Miyagi. Then, he pulled it off the wall and held in his hands.

"I tried my best. I thought I was doing the right thing. I'm sorry." He said, letting a few tears out, and placed it in the back room.

Back at the beach, Johnny got up and stood up on his feet, looking out into the distance. He turned around, and glanced at his car, throwing a beer bottle at the car windshield, smashing it into pieces.

He pulled out his phone and threw it down on the sand, hoping it would get lost and ever come back. Then, he threw the car keys inside the vehicle.

Johnny walked away from the beach, not even looking back, leaving all of his personal belongings.
