[SEASON TWO: EPISODE FIVE]

"Okay, pay attention. He's got my neck, I've got his elbow." Johnny said, underneath Kresse's strong arms, in a head-lock position. They were showing them how it was done, so far, it had to be very easy to learn.

"If I try to break out, I dig in and I put him to sleep. If I go for his ribs. He completely exposes his chest. Two difficult choices. What do you do?"

No one even answered. Or they just don't know.

Sensei kicked his knee backwards and that made both of them fall over the mat. Ethan's eyes lit up, realizing what he was meaning to tell the students.

"You damn the consequences and you power forward."

"You may get hurt." Kresse stated.

"But nobody wins by doing nothing."

"You make a choice. You make a move, you go all-in." Johnny instructed, looking around the room.

The Cobras went to a different diner, each of them, sitting around their own separate tables. Ethan sat alone on a table for two people, with his laptop right in front of him.

He wore a confused look on his face as Tory decided to throw some ice cubes at him, earning his attention, which made her satisfied. She really does like the attention.

"Dude." He said, looking at her, unamused.

"Oops. Must've slipped out of my hand." She stated, sarcastically.

Williams was too focused on his laptop, and didn't even bother to return to her attempt to start a conversation. The smile on her face had faded; she definitely did not like that.

"What are you even doing over there?" Tory asked, amusingly.

"Going all in, of course." He mumbled, his fingers pressed some keys on his keyboard, picking every photo he had with Sam. It only took one click to move them all from the screen. Then, Tory walked over to his table with an ice cream plate in her hands.

"You want the rest of this brownie sundae? Not gonna lie to you. I ate most of the brownie and the whipped cream and the fudge."

"So, out of all of that. The only thing you have now is the melted ice cream?" Ethan questioned.

"Yeah, the best part." She replied, setting the plate down. He shook his head, and chuckled.

"Seriously, what are you working on?" Tory asked, taking the seat to him. The boy didn't even say anything, as she lightly gasped.

"What? Is it something dirty?"

"It's nothing, really." He insisted.

"Show me. Come on!" She begged him, trying to grab his laptop.

"I'm good. Now leave." He ordered, looking angrily at her. Tory immediately got up, and walked back over to her original table.

Ethan stepped out of the bathroom, halting with he noticed Hawk. He looked pretty angry about something as he marched out of the diner, with a few students following behind him, especially some of the new ones. He rushed towards them, stopping one of them.

"Hey, What's going?"

Mickey simply showed him his phone, and he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion at what he had just saw. Then, he cursed underneath his breath, and quickly ran out of the diner.

Williams bolted towards the parking lot, getting on his bike and pulled his phone out, dialing Sam's phone number a few times. She l finally answered after the third call.

"Sammy!" Ethan called out.

"What's up?" She asked, from the other side of the phone line.

"Where are you at, right now?" He asked, backing his bike out of the parking lot.

"The mall, why?" She answered, sounding a little confused.

"Stay right where you are, and I'll be there in a few minutes."

"Whyโ€”"

He didn't even bother to let her say anything and placed his phone back in his back pocket.

As soon as he arrived at his destination, Ethan ran inside the mall, and he immediately caught sight of Demetri in the middle of the building, where a couple of people ate their food in peace.

Unbeknownst to what was about to happen, he saw Hawk and his little gang cornered him in the middle. He continuously mumbled words underneath his breath, as he fastened his pace.

"Hawk."

His name slipped out of his mouth, before he could realize what he just said, and his expression for changed only a second that same look he looked like when he met him in the school cafeteria.

"Stop this. Please. You're making a very big mistake."

He barely looked at him, his brown eyes too focused on the boy he used to call his best friend.

"Let him go." Ethan snapped.

He came up behind Chris and used him as a leverage as he hauled himself upwards to send a side-kick to the guy who was holding the kid.

Just in time, Sam came from nowhere and kicked the other guy, Demetri immediately hiding behind her. He sent a nod of acknowledgment her way.

"You guys need to back off." She demanded.

"I don't want to have to hit a girl." Hawk mocked.

"You won't stand a chance." Robby said, coming out of nowhere.

Ethan felt his breath hitch as he glanced at the other students. Like him, Sam noticed it and gave him a sublet nod.

"You can go."

"They're my friends, and it doesn't seem like the two of you can take them all on." He muttered, then squared up when Hawk caught his eyes.

"And plus you could really use my help."

"Five against three?" He scoffed, but even he could tell that he was hesitant to fight him. He knew he was good, maybe even the best. If the boy didn't hold back against his friends.

"More like two and a half."

Williams didn't wast any time and slipped away from Sam and Demetri. He blocked Chris's way before he got to Robby, who fought off Hawk and Mickey.

"I if were you, it would be best for you to leave." He stated, and for a second, Chris seemed to listen but changed his mind, and sent a lousy kick. He immediately caught the heel of his feet.

"Wrong move, buddy." He said, then pulled him up by his foot, making him drop down to the floor.

"Heads up." Sam exclaimed, shoving a boy towards him.

He quickly acted on instinct, sending a back thrust kick at the boy, making him toppled over the ground next to his friend. He kicked another guy's face when he charged at him. But he sensed him, before anything else could happen.

"Demetri." Ethan called out, walking towards the boy caught in the middle of a brawl. He left Robby and Sam, seeing they didn't seem like they needed his help. The two of them fought them off like they've done it before, moving together as one.

He let out a small smile appear on his lips, watching them kick their butts even though they weren't in the same dojo. And times like this, he just cannot side with Cobra Kai.

What they're doing is wrong, and he couldn't let them beat up his friends, let alone Sam. Eli or Hawk, had really changed and it pained him to see him like this. This wasn't his friend. It was someone completely different.

"We saved your chicken."

"Thanks."

When Ethan said he was going to tell his original teacher that he was one of Cobra Kai's student, he didn't mean for it to be this way. He was utterly perplexed when suddenly Daniel LaRusso barged inside the dojo with a furious expression on his face.ย

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Johnny asked.

All the kids inside the dojo stood up as well, watching the scene before them with different expressions on their faces.

"Like you don't know."

"Take your shoes off the mat." Sensei ordered, stepping closer towards him.

"You're disrespecting my dojo."

"You're seriously gonna talk to me about disrespecting dojos after what you just did to mine?" Daniel raised his voice, walking on the mat with his shoes still on, disregarding his words.

"I don't know what the hell you're talking about." Johnny scoffed in disbelief.

"I didn't do anything to your dojo."

"Just like you didn't slug one of my employees, huh?" He asked, promptly.

"You know, a big part of me actually felt bad for you at one point, but you make it so easy to remember who the bad guy is in all of this."

"You call yourself a Sensei? You don't even know what a Sensei is. A Sensei mentors. A Sensei elevates. He doesn't teach destruction and disrespect!"

"I already said, I don't know what you're talking about, LaRusso." Johnny spat, walking closer up towards him.

"And you don't know what you're talking about, either."

"Yeah, well. I know you don't." Daniel said, his voice almost cracked in the middle of his sentence.

"You don't earn the Medal of Honor by stealing it."

"What?" Ethan gasped, but his voice came out smaller then he expected.

"Let me tell you something about your Sensei. He may teach you how to fight, but he doesn't know a thing about what it takes to fully win at life. If you wanna help yourselves, the doors to Miyagi-Do are wide open."

"You think you can come in here and poach my students?" Johnny asked.

"Yeah? What are you gonna do about it?

"You know I'm not gonna strike first."

"I'm gonna be the bigger man." Sensei stated, backing away from him.

"Yeah. We'll see about that." He panted, and glanced around the room, one last time.

His eyes lingered towards Ethan, just for a second, before he turned on his heel, then stormed out of the dojo. One boy, Chris, walked over to his bag and picked it up, stepping to the door.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"What the hell Chris?" Mitch asked his friend.

"I never liked it here." He stated.

At least ten other kids followed Chris, making Johnny's expression drop. Ethan bit his lip in guilt. He felt a pair of eyes on him and looked up to see Kreese, watching him suspiciously, like he knew that he was once Daniel's student.

If he found out, he'd be good as dead. Either way, he was screwed, and this was only just the beginning.
