Ankita's POV:-

I was surrounded by darkness, unable to see anything clearly. My heart pounded as I tried to find Ansh and Aryan.

Few seconds before they were just playing in front of me, their laughter echoing through the space, but suddenly everything went black.

A heavy feeling settled in my chest, and I stumbled forward, my hands reaching out forย  some support, but there was nothing.

Then, out of nowhere, I felt a hand on my shoulder. Startled, I turned around and gasped. Standing before me was my husbandโ€”my Aditya.

"Aditya?" I whispered, my voice trembling, as tears immediately blurred my vision.

I could hardly believe my eyes as Iย  traced his entire face. He was right there, just as I remembered him, but there was no joy on his face, no smile greeting me like before.

Instead, he looked sad, almost heartbroken.

"Don't do this, Ankitaโ€ฆ please don't do this," he said, his voice laced with sorrow.

Tears streamed down my cheeks, and I stared at him, confused and torn ,

" Why was he saying this?"

"You know you're not happy with this marriage, Ankita," he continued, his eyes searching mine.

"You know what your heart truly wants, so why do you keep running away from your feelings, my love?"

I shook my head desperately, trying to push away his words. No, this couldnโ€™t be true.

"Trust me, Aditya... I don't love him. I don't love Aryan... I only love you," I said, my voice shaking as I reached for him.

I needed him to understand. Why isnโ€™t anyone understanding me?

He looked at me with sad smile, his eyes filled with a quiet knowing that I was too afraid to face.

"You love him, dear. You've already started falling for Aryan."

My breath caught in my throat, and I shook my head harder.

No, no... this canโ€™t be true!!

He cupped my cheeks gently, his touch warm and comforting, just as it always had been.

"You know why you're not happy with this marriage, Ankita?" he asked softly.

"Because your heart has already accepted Aryan as your husband. These tears... this pain you're feelingโ€ฆ it's because your heart beats for him now, not for me. You have unknowingly create space for him into your heart"

His words hit me like a wave, and I could feel my world shattering all over again.

"No, Aditya!" I sobbed, my voice breaking. "I love you... I will always love you! ...I can't cheat you like this"

"Ankita" he said gently cupping her face, his voice soft but filled with a wisdom that pierced my heart,

"loving someone new doesnโ€™t mean your love for me has faded or become any less. Love grows and changes, but it doesnโ€™t erase what came before."

He smiled sadly at me, brushing away my tears with his thumb.

"I know, Ankita. I know you love me and that you always will. But my life... itโ€™s over now. I wonโ€™t come back to this world, no matter how much you want me to."

I couldn't stop crying, my heart aching at the realization. He was goneโ€ฆ and he wasnโ€™t coming back.

"But you," he continued gently removing my baby hairs from my teary face.

"you canโ€™t destroy your future because of me. Aryan loves you, Ankita. He wants you to be his wife. He wants to be Ansh dad.He cares for you deeply. Donโ€™t hurt him, donโ€™t hurt yourself, by clinging to the past thatโ€™s already gone."

His words felt like they were tearing me apart. I couldnโ€™t imagine a life without Aditya, but at the same time, a part of me knew he was right.

"I know my brother will be the best for you... for our son. Give him a chance, Ankita. Give yourself another chance," he pleaded, his voice soft but firm.

I shook my head again, the weight of societyโ€™s judgment crushing me. I couldn't bear any accusation against him.

"I canโ€™t do this, Aditya. What about society? What will people say?" I asked, my voice trembling.

Aditya sighed, shaking his head sadly.

"It's your life, Ankita. People will always talk. Theyโ€™ll always have something to say, no matter what you do. But if you keep letting their words control your life, you'll never be happy. You have the right to make your own choices, to live your life the way you want.

Society doesnโ€™t have the right to judge youโ€”they wonโ€™t be there to help you when youโ€™re in pain, when you're in danger."

His words cut through my fear, but still, I didnโ€™t know what to do.

My heart was in turmoil, and I looked down, lost in a whirlwind of emotions.I dropped my gaze, trying to escape the chaos swirling inside me.

He smiled, noticing my hesitation, as if he knew I was battling with myself.

"Alright,if you don't believe me close your eyes for ten seconds," he gently urged.

"Tell me what you see." His voice was calm, steadying me as he guided my trembling hands to close my eyes.I hesitated, but did as he asked.

I gasped as the image of Aditya appeared, facing away from me, holding our son. But as he slowly turned to face me, my breath hitchedโ€”it wasnโ€™t Aditya. It was Aryan, smiling at me with that familiar warmth that made my heart flutter in ways I didnโ€™t fully understand.

"Come on, Ankita," he called out, his voice filled with a quiet joy that tugged at my heart. "Look what me and my jaan have made."

He extended his hand toward me, inviting me into the moment.

"Mumma, come see na what dadda did!" my Anshโ€™s sweet voice echoed, pulling me deeper into the vision.

There voice giggles as Aryan runs behind Ansh as he to catch him.

I opened my eyes, startled, only to see Adityaโ€™s gentle smile lingering before me.

"This is your future," Adityaโ€™s voice was soft, yet firm.

"A perfect future. Donโ€™t destroy it with your own hands love. Iโ€™ll always be there for you, in every step of your life, and I will always love you throughout my life ." His words hung in the air like a protective embrace as he kissed my forehead, his presence as comforting as it had ever been.

"Now go," he encouraged, his eyes filled with love and understanding.

"Stop Aryan. Tell him what you feel before it gets too late."

"But heโ€™s angry, Aditya." I stammered, guilt washing over me.

"Iโ€™ve hurt him so much. He wonโ€™t talk to me ever."Aditya chuckled softly, shaking his head.

"Oh, come on, Ankita. I know my brother. He canโ€™t stay angry for long. If heโ€™s hurt, then make it up to him. Heโ€™s done so much for you and our Anshโ€”canโ€™t you do this one small thing for him? Go to him, now."

He gave me a gentle nudge, pushing me out of the fog I had created around myself.

I gasped as I woke up, the vision fading, but its impact still raw and alive in my chest.

I glanced aroundโ€”it was afternoon, the sun filtering through the curtains.

"Aryanโ€ฆ" I whispered, the weight of realization heavy on my heart. Where was he? I had hurt him deeply, pushed him away when all he did was love me.

But now, I knew what I had to do. I wouldnโ€™t let this slip away. I would make it right. I would make it up to him, no matter what.
