Chapter Two

TALAMASCA CASTE FOR SUPERNATURAL STUDIES

The next day, Sabrina is in the computer room, sitting at a computer, printing out old folklore pictures on vampires to add onto her folklore magazine.

{Sabrina's Outfit}

"Hey, Sabrina." Freya greeted her sister-in-law as she slowly walks inside the main room.

Sabrina glances up at Freya. "Hey, Freya, what are you doing here? I mean, it's good to see you."

"Oh, nothing much." Freya said, sitting down beside Sabrina at a computer. "What are you up to?"

"Making a folklore magazine." Sabrina told her.

"Folklore magazine? Sounds interesting for the Talamasca Caste to work on something." Freya said.

"Yeah, I know." Sabrina said with a small smile. "Also, Jesse and I have an Talamasca Caste conference in London."

"Oh, really? Sounds even more interesting." Freya said.

"Yeah. It's just a few days." Sabrina said.

"Alright, then, I'll leave you to it." Freya said to Sabrina.

"Okay, I'll see you at home." Sabrina said.

Freya gets up and walks away.

After-awhile, Sabrina gently knocks on David Talbot's opened office door. "David?"

David looks at up at her. "Hello, Sabrina. Do you want me to check on something?"

"Yeah." Sabrina said, walks up to David and gently hands him her file folder of old folklore pictures of vampires, werewolves, witches, hybrids.

"These old folklore pictures are very good, Sabrina." David Talbot said, and gently hands her back her file folder. "It will be good for your first folklore magazine."

"Thanks." Sabrina said.

"I'm gonna get more coffee." David said, getting up to his feet and walks away, walking out of his office.

Sabrina looks at the small plastic trash can beside David's desk. She slowly walks up to it and gently takes a empty plastic cup and sniffs it.

And doesn't smell vervain.

David slowly walks back inside his office as Sabrina gently tosses the foam cup back inside the plastic trash can.

"Sabrina?" David said. "Are you alright?" He asked her.

Sabrina looks at him. "Have you been off vervain?"

"For a little while, yes. But I've restarted." David replied. "Why do you asks?"

"Has Klaus compelled you?" Sabrina asked him.

"Once or twice. That's it." David said.

"Alright." Sabrina said, and slowly walks away from David Talbot. "I'll see you around, David."

"You as well." David said.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

That afternoon, Sabrina slowly walks inside the courtyard with her blue canvas backpack on her shoulder.

"Sabrina?" Klaus said, gently walks down the stairs and into the courtyard.

"Did you compel David?" Sabrina asked her husband. "He's been taking vervain in his coffee for a long while, I should know because Jesse and I convinced him to."

"Yes, I compelled him." Klaus said.

"David's my supervisor at the Talamasca Caste. He's also a human being." Sabrina said to her him. "Why would you compel David?"

"I needed some information." Klaus replied to her.

"You could've asked me, and I would've told you." Sabrina told him. "Or did you compel David to take advantage of his frightful of you?" She asked him.

"Sabrina?" Klaus said.

"Did you compel David to take advantage of his frightful of you?" Sabrina asked him again.

"Yes." Klaus said.

Sabrina slaps Klaus, and he looks at her.

"What is wrong with you?" Sabrina asked her husband. "Taking advantage of David? My former mentor? My supervisor?"

"Sabrina? You have to understand that my family and myself always enemies." Klaus said to her.

"But taking advantage of someone, Niklaus? Compelling someone against their will? But of course, you always resort to mind compulsion. It's how you control someone." Sabrina tells him.

Klaus looks at Sabrina, a bit shocked.

"You don't give a damn about nobody but yourself. And someone doesn't give you what you want, you resort to compulsion or your threats. Doesn't matter who gets hurt in the process, as long as Klaus gets what Klaus wants. I thought you would've changed by now. That our relationship would've changed you or lighten you up, but you will never change, Niklaus. You will always be the infamous Klaus Mikaelson that everyone knows you as." Sabrina tells her husband.

Klaus looks at Sabrina, and she walks away from him.

"Sabrina?" Klaus said. But Sabrina keeps walking up the stairs. "Sabrina?"

In the study, Sabrina is sitting at the desk, working on her folklore magazine.

Klaus slowly walks inside the study and looks at his wife, Sabrina. "I'm sorry." He apologized.

Sabrina looks at him. "You really think by saying "I'm sorry" fixes things, it doesn't."

"I know it doesn't." Klaus said, slowly walks up to her and sits down at the mini bar. "You know I'm not a descent person."

"Of course I don't. You never were." Sabrina said, getting up to her feet and slowly walks away.

"Sabrina?" Klaus said.

Sabrina sighs to herself and turns back around to look at him. "Not everyone is immortal, Klaus. And I'm not okay with what you did, compelling my supervisor, David? You know, the supernatural talks about you and the Mikaelson family about how you ruined life's. And my husband's the worst of the Mikaelson's. But yet, I love you, despite it all."

"Sabrina?" Klaus said.

"You will never change, Klaus. I get that. I'm not gonna ask you to change. And I'm not gonna change for you. I'm not perfect, nobody's perfect. But when are you gonna realize that there's more than just fear, mind compulsion to getting what you want? Or when are you gonna pull your head out your own ass?"

Klaus looks at Sabrina as she slowly walks up to him.

"Cherish what you have, Klaus. Because someday, you're gonna lose it." Sabrina said to him. "Goodnight."

Sabrina slowly walks back over to the desk, containing her folklore magazine drafts and walks away, walking out of the study, leaving Klaus to ponder to himself.

In the dining room, Sabrina is sitting at the dining table, double checking her folklore magazine.

Derek HaLe slowly walks up to the dinning room doorway. "Sabrina?"

Sabrina looks at Derek. "Derek? Is everything okay?"

"Not really no. It's Hayley. She's gone missing." Derek tells Sabrina.

Sabrina becomes worried about her best friend, Hayley Marshall.
