The next morning, Sabrina gently walks down on the stairs and into the courtyard as Elijah walks inside.

Sabrina gently takes the file box in the hands. She and Elijah exchange looks at each other.

"Sabrina?" Elijah said.

Sabrina doesn't say anything to him after what he said yesterday evening. But she knew that he was right.

"Do you know where Niklaus has gone off to?" Elijah asked her.

"I don't know, Elijah. I'm not my husband's keeper." Sabrina replied with a small attitude and walks away from him.

Elijah turns around to look at Sabrina, having noticed her small attitude.

In the archives room, Sabrina has put the file box back on the shelf.

Klaus slowly walks inside the archives room. "Sabrina?"

Sabrina looks at her husband, Klaus. "I have an interview with Serene Velasquez in a few. So, I was just leaving."

Sabrina walks away from Klaus, but he gently takes her hand in his hand, making her look at him.

"Can we talk?" Klaus asked.

"No, and I'm pretty sure that Elijah doesn't want you to be unfocused." Sabrina replied to him.

"What's with the small attitude?" Klaus asked her.

"Nothing, just leave me alone." Sabrina said, trying to walk away, but Klaus gently tugs her hand, gently pulls her close to him. "Klaus?"

"What Elijah said bothered you, didn't it?" Klaus asked Sabrina.

"I gotta go." Sabrina said, pulling herself away from Klaus, walking out of the archives room.

VELASQUEZ HQ

That afternoon, In her office, Serene and Sabrina are sitting in sofa chairs, across from each other.

"I've heard about you from your old journal. You're known as a myth to the supernatural. But the question is? How are you awakened?" Sabrina asked Serene.

"My four bodyguards revived me with their blood. It took a little while to regain my strength, but here I am." Serene tells Sabrina.

"You have your own casino?" Sabrina asked her.

"I do. It's good to business." Serene replied to Sabrina.

A gentle knock is on the door and the door opens.

"Serene? You have a telephone call for you." Serene's secretary said to her.

"Thank you, Barbara." Serene thanked her secretary.

Barbara nodded and closes the door behind her.

"One more question before I leave?" Sabrina asked Serene.

"Of course." Serene said.

"How did you do all of this? Your business? Your Velasquez HQ?" Sabrina asked.

"Hard work, Sabrina." Serene replied to her. "I'm a hard worker myself."

"Okay, thanks." Sabrina said, getting up to her feet, putting her blue canvas backpack on her shoulder.

"I'm having a Bacchanalia this evening at my mansion if you're interested." Serene said to her.

"Okay." Sabrina said. "Can I have a plus one to come along with me?"

"Of course." Serene said.

Serene nodded. And Sabrina walks away, walking out of Serene's office.

After returning back home, Sabrina slowly walks inside and sees Klaus and Elijah together.

Elijah and Sabrina exchange looks at each other. But she walks away. And Klaus vamp-speeds to her.

"Sabrina, please?" Klaus said to his wife. "Families quarrel sometimes, but we always make amends."

Sabrina looks at Klaus, and Klaus looks at her. And Klaus walks away.

Elijah and Sabrina exchange looks at each other.

"I apologized for what I said to you yesterday evening, but he had to said." Elijah said to Sabrina.

"I know, Elijah. And I'm sorry for having an small attitude this morning." Sabrina said to him, with an apology.

"Sabrina, you know my family, the Mikaelson's, are not innocent nor pure. We've done terrible things throughout our thousand years of our immortal life's." Elijah said, slowly walks up to her. "But you, you're compassionate, and you have a benevolent personality about you. There's too much good within you. Your Niklaus's humanity and his redemption."

"Love you too, Elijah." Sabrina said with a small smile.

Elijah small smiles at her, and Sabrina small smiles back at him, making amends with each other.

And then, Klaus dramatically claps from the second floor railing, small smiling at both his brother and wife.

"Bravo, you too. I knew you the two of you would work things out." Klaus said with a small smile.

Klaus, Elijah and Sabrina exchange small smiles at each other.

After-awhile, in the ballroom, Sabrina is working on another folklore magazine, sitting on the sofa.

Suddenly, an invitation card magically pops up on the coffee table.

Sabrina looks at the invitation card and gently takes it in her hand.

You are invited to the formal Bacchanalia party at the Velasquez Mansion. — Serene Velasquez

Sabrina small smiles to herself.

"Sabrina?" Elijah said, slowly walks inside the ballroom.

"Serene is having a formal Bacchanalia party at her mansion this evening. Do you want to come along with me?" Sabrina asked Elijah.

"Of course." Elijah said.

VELASQUEZ MANSION

That evening, the party guests had arrived, dressed up. Men dressed up in their formal tuxedos and women are dressed up in their formal dresses.

Elijah and Sabrina slowly walks inside, linked arms as they slowly walks further inside the ballroom.

Exotic Acrobats are in the air, slowly performing. A champagne tower is on for display and drinking.

The caterers are slowly walking around with silver platters of hors d'oeuvres.

Elijah and Sabrina slowly walks over to the bar counter.

"Serene outdid herself." Sabrina said to Elijah.

"She has, of course." Elijah said. "What was she like when you interviewed her?"

"She seemed pretty nice. She wears business suit with skirts." Sabrina said to him. "But there's something more about her than she lets on."

"Serene is a Day-walker vampire that doesn't need a daylight ring." Elijah said. "What else have you learned about Serene?"

"I asked her how she woke up and she told me that her four bodyguards revived her by feeding them her blood." Sabrina told Elijah. "Elijah? What if Serene is up to something sinister?"

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Sabrina. Let us find out who Serene Velasquez really is." Elijah said to Sabrina.

Serena slowly walks down the stairs, wearing a green spaghetti strap dress with pump heels, with her dark wavy brown hair.

She greeted the party guests with small smiles. And spots Elijah and Sabrina at the bar counter.

Serene slowly walks up to Elijah and Sabrina. "Sabrina, I am pleased to see you here at my party."

"Your party's amazing so far, Serene." Sabrina said to her.

Serene looks at Elijah. "And you are?"

"Elijah Mikaelson. Pleasure to meet you, Miss. Serene Velasquez." Elijah introduced himself to Serene.

"Pleasure to meet you as well, Mr. Elijah Mikaelson." Serene said, and looks at both Elijah and Sabrina. "I do hope that you two enjoy my party."

Elijah, Sabrina and Serene exchange small smiles at each other and Serena slowly walks away.

After-awhile, everyone is slow dancing on the dance floor or eating and drinking champagne.

Sabrina is admiring the champagne flute fountain. Barbara slowly walks up beside Sabrina.

"Sabrina?" Barbara said.

Sabrina looks at Barbara. "Hi, Barbara."

"Serene Velasquez would like to speak with you upstairs." Barbara said to Sabrina.

"Okay." Sabrina said, slowly walks after Barbara as they head up the stairs.

"Sabrina?" Elijah said.

Sabrina looks at Elijah. "Serene wants to talk to me upstairs, I'll be right back."

Elijah nodded and Sabrina proceeds to walk up the stairs after Barbara.

Now, Barbara and Sabrina slowly walks in the hallway and up to a door.

"Miss. Serene awaits you inside." Barbara said to Sabrina.

Sabrina opens the door and slowly walks inside. Serene is sitting in a armchair.

"Hello, Sabrina." Serene greeted.

"Hi." Sabrina greeted her back.

Barbara gently closes the door behind Sabrina. Serene and Sabrina exchange mildly looks at each other.

"Please, have a seat." Serene said, gesturing to the armchair.

Sabrina slowly over to the armchair and sits down in it.

"How are you enjoying my party thus far?" Serene asked.

"It's interesting. I've never been to a
Bacchanalia." Sabrina replied to her. "By the way, your accent..."

"... English." Serene said in her English accent with a small smile. "I knew you were gonna figure it out. I can tell that you're a smart young woman, compassionate, caring, benevolent, and full of light."

"You can sense it?" Sabrina asked.

"I can." Serene said.

"The invitation card that magically popped up inside the ballroom of my home, did you do that?" Sabrina asked Serene.

"I did not. My secretary, Barbara, did." Serene said.

"Your secretary, Barbara, is a witch?" Sabrina asked Serene.

"My personal witch, yes." Serene replied.

Sabrina then, figures it out. "Is this another interview?"

Serene smiles. "I knew you were smart. But I can also tell that you're not a fool."

Sabrina small smiles to herself. "Not really no, I'm not."

"Alrighty then." Serene said, getting up to her feet. "The night is still young and my party proceeds."

"It is." Sabrina said, getting up to her feet. "Thanks for the second interview, Serene."

"You're welcome, Sabrina." Serene said to her.

And Sabrina slowly walks away.

"Sabrina?" Serene said.

Sabrina turns around to look at Serene.

"I do hope to see you around again." Serene said to her.

"Me too." Sabrina said.

Serene gently nodded with a small smile. And Sabrina walks away, opening the door and closes the door behind her.

Now, downstairs in the ballroom, Elijah and Sabrina are sitting at the bar counter.

"What did Serene speak with you about?" Elijah asked.

"I had a second interview. And she could sense my personality or something, but other than that, she hopes to see me again around." Sabrina said.

"Well, it is getting late and we should head on back home." Elijah said.

"Okay." Sabrina said.

Elijah and Sabrina slowly walks away, walking out of the ballroom. From across the ballroom, Serene looks at both Elijah and Sabrina as she sips on her champagne.

Later on that night, Sabrina slowly walks into the courtyard and sees Klaus sketching in his sketchbook with his feet propped up on the coffee table.

"How was the party?" Klaus asked Sabrina.

"It was nice." Sabrina said, slowly walks up to him and sits down beside him on the sofa, gently pulling off her Mary Jane shoes. "The food was good, champagne was good too."

Klaus glances at her red corset gown. "That's really beautiful dress."

"Please, don't fondly obsessed about the red gown." Sabrina said.

"Sorry, Love. When I glanced at it, I instantly fell for it." Klaus said.

Klaus and Sabrina exchange playfully chuckles with each other.

"Do you remember when we first danced together here at the masquerade party?" Klaus asked her.

"Yeah. And you emotionally pushed me away." Sabrina replied to him.

"But I came back to you afterwards that night at Jesse's boarding house." Klaus said.

That night, After the masquerade gala party at the Mikaelson Compound, Sabrina fell asleep on the sofa, still wearing her red lavish dress. Her masquerade mask is on the coffee table.

A slight wind flows through her hair as she tiredly wakes up and sits up straight, upon sensing she's not alone.

"Jesse?" Sabrina said, slowly getting up from the three seat sofa, gently pulls her hair down from a side bun hairstyle to straight down.

"Hello, Sabrina." Klaus greeted her, still wearing his suit.

Sabrina looks up at Klaus and gets up to her feet. "Klaus? What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I wanted to check on you, make sure you got home safely." Klaus replied to me.

"I thought you said you wanted to keep your distance from me. And yet, here you are." Sabrina said, folding her arms. "What's with you? I mean, you say things when you're angry, and once you calm down, you try to make amends. You felt it, didn't you?"

Klaus looks at Sabrina, a bit confused. "Felt what?"

"Don't act like you didn't feel an instant connection between us, Klaus." Sabrina said, and slowly walks up to him. "You know, for big bad Original Hybrid, you suck at trying to hide your emotions, because clearly, it's all over your face."

"If you knew who I am, the man I am, Sabrina, you would never look at me that way again." Klaus said to her.

Sabrina looks at Klaus with a soften look in her eyes.

"Don't look at me like that." Klaus said, walking away from her.

"Like what?" Sabrina asked, turning around to look at him.

Klaus turns around to looks at Sabrina. "That look on your face."

"See? You can't even admit to yourself. You feel something in between us, Mikaelson, but you choose to fight it and run away like a scared little scaredy-cat." Sabrina said to him.

Klaus looks at Sabrina and walks up to her and gently caress her cheek with his hand as if he's about to kiss her.

Klaus and Sabrina exchange soften looks at each other.

"What is it about you, that makes me think about you?" Klaus asked.

"I don't know." Sabrina said.

Klaus and Sabrina exchange another soften looks at each other. And he vamp-speeds away.

- Reality -

Klaus and Sabrina are sitting on the sofa. She's sitting in a seated position.

"You tried your best to fight your feelings for me, but it was overwhelming you." Sabrina said to him.

"Yeah, it was. It consumed me." Klaus said to Sabrina. "I'm gonna meet Serene Velasquez for myself."

"What for?" Sabrina asked him.

"From what we know of her from the Talamasca Caste and her old journal, she's not quite who is she seems to be." Klaus said.

"You think she's hiding something?" Sabrina asked him.

"Mysterious person always has secrets they rather keep to themselves." Klaus said.

"Elijah sensed it too, and so did I." Sabrina said.

Klaus and Sabrina exchange looks at each other.

VELASQUEZ MANSION

Later on that night, Barbara escorts Sabrina inside with her blue canvas backpack.

Serene is sitting in a slope booth with her four bodyguards with their drinks.

"Miss. Velasquez?" Barbara said. "Mrs. Sabrina is here to see you."

Serene looks at Sabrina and small smiles. "Hello again, Sabrina. Have you forgotten something?"

"Not really no. I came to give you back your old journal." Sabrina said, gently pulling out Serene's journal from her blue canvas backpack and gently sets it down on the coffee table.

Serene turns her attention to her four bodyguards. "Leave us."

The four bodyguards gets up and walks away. Barbara walks away herself.

Serene gently sets down her half drink on the coffee table. "You've returned my old journal to me, out of the kindness of your heart."

"The Talamasca Caste has copies of your old journal, but I wanted you to have yours." Sabrina said to Serene.

Serene small smiles to herself, impressive. "I like you, Sabrina. But thank you for returning my journal to me."

"You're welcome." Sabrina said, and walks away.

Klaus slowly walks inside his and Sabrina's bedroom and sees her asleep, , laying sideways on the bed, still wearing her red corset dress.

Klaus gently takes a blanket and covers her with it and peck a kiss on her forehead temple and slowly walks away.
