STRAUSS WAS NUMB he didn't feel anything as he sat behind timothy on the horse, his body moved with the rhythm of the horse. Sadie used to love horses; she was obsessed with them. These big rare creatures could get you miles and miles away.
He missed her. Not the walker, but the human her, her smile could brighten up his whole day and he just couldn't comprehend that he would never see it again.
He was angry, not at him. No. It was all his mother's fault.
If she didn't call the police then none of this would've happened Sadie would still be alive. And he wouldnt have these murder tendencies.
He just wanted to kill everyone.
He didn't want to live anymore.
Not without Sadie.
But he had to.
Strauss isn't religious but he knew he wouldn't go wherever Sadie went, there was too much blood on his hands for that.
Strauss was snapped out of his thoughts as the horses slowed down to a trot, he saw a beautiful farm, it looked so peaceful. "Now Strauss, these people may not open you with open arms...Because of what happened"
Strauss scoffed at Timothee's words why should he care what these lowlife pricks think of him, he murdered them because of the way he and his sister were treated.
"Come on buddy." Timothy patted Strauss on his back. "Now i gotta warn you there is another police officer here bud."
Strauss clenched his fists. "You mean the asshole who threw me on the ground?"
"Mhm"
"Where is my axe? I want it back." Strauss demanded, it was his axe he found the thing. they thought they could just take his weapon? "Give an axe to a murderer? No thank you." Rick scoffed as he walked in front of the two.
They neared the farm and every step he took made him want to turn back to his old house where the corpse of his sister was buried.
He never did like people and there were lots of them.
Suddenly a big bulky man ran towards them at full speed and a young boy ran behind with a smile on his face.
"What the hell is this Rick?" Shane scoffed as he looked towards the boy for a second before recognition began clouding his eyes.
Suddenly the ex police officers pounds on Strauss throwing him on the ground in a headlock position. "Hey! What the hell man get the hell off of me."
Strauss snarled as he struggled in the grip.
"Shane man get off of him." Timothee yelled trying to get the big man off of Strauss.
Now a small crowd gathered around them a girl with blonde hair behind them. "I ain't done nothing wrong."
"Nothing wrong?!" Shane hissed sarcastically at the boy .Strauss was still in head lock struggling to get out. "Shane get off!"
"Do you people have any idea how dangerous this little prick is?" Shane scoffed as he looked around the group, none of them recognized the boy except of course Rick and Timothee. "He brutally killed 5 people his father being one of them"
That was enough for Hershel Greene. "I do not want this boy on my property Rick!"
"You aint the only one." Rick mumbled quietly.
"Maybe we should put him in the barn." Dale suggested. "We can't let him go neither he knows where we live...And we would be no better than him if we killed him."
STRAUSS FELT LIKE DYING.
Because he was 18 Shane decided to beat him black and blue for murdering "innocent" people, he scoffed at that.
Sure he wasn't innocent but his father was nothing of the sort.
He was angry, he wanted to kill Shane, to decapite Shane wanting to see how a walker would eat him up while he was still alive, he wanted to see him suffer.
He grunted as he tugged at his restraints.
"Hey! You- You bastards! Let me outta here!" He yelled but it was useless. His voice was broken.
Suddenly the barn door opened, his head snapped towards the big door as a small blonde girl stepped inside with a plate of food and water.
He pursed his lips before speaking. "Who the hell are you?" he asked. The girl did not speak as she walked towards him, setting the plate down and crouching before feeding him the sandwich.
He quickly chomped and chewed it, it had been a while since he ate. He was busy feeding Sadie all these poor souls.
"THANK YOU." Strauss smiled and he liked her. She seemed nice. "I'm Strauss."
"Beth," She said, her face carrying a small grin. "Is it true you killed all those people?"
Strauss's face fell of course they would tell this sweet girl every little thing about him, honestly Strauss wasn't a bad person he just had a bad past and it just made him mad and he finally did something about it.
He wondered just one thing...Where in god's name was his mother? Before he had murdered his father and his friends she just disappeared out of thin air. He never noticed he was focused on his sister.
"Are you still there Strauss?" He was snapped out of his thoughts as he looked at the blonde in front of him who smiled at his lost look. "Why are you here? Isn't your daddy gonna be worried or something?"
"My dad doesn't want me to talk to you but I want to." She blushed as she spoke, tucking her hair behind her ears.
Suddenly the bar door slammed open as a mad Hershel Greene with an even more furious Shane Walsh stomped inside, Hershel grabbed his daughter by the arm heaving her gently up. "I don't want you anywhere near him Beth!"
Strauss grunted as a punch was delivered onto his face. He spat out the blood as he glared at a smug looking Shane.
"Shane! What the hell man?" Timothee Douglas growled as he pushed Shane away from a half conscious Strauss. "He's just a kid!"
"He's a psychotic murdering little prick!" Shane spat as he flunged himself again towards him but was of course held back, Shane wanted Strauss dead, he couldn't risk a murderer into the camp afraid he was gonna kill Lori and Carl.
