━︎━︎━︎━︎𝐌𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 and the news wasn't good. Ilaria had her arms crossed over her chest, leaning against the wall, pressing her foot against the wall. Evie looked at Mal in disbelief. "There's no way we're gonna give Uma the wand." Mal stared at her blankly, dangerous anger lying underneath her bored expression. "We can just let her destroy Auradon."

"Uma doesn't get the wand, then Ben is toast, guys." Carlos muttered.

"Great, so we're gonna give Uma, of all people, the wand." Carlos, Evie, and Jay began talking over each other. Mal interrupted them.

"Wait, you guys." They turned their heads to look at her. "Your 3D printer."

Carlos pointed at her, quickly catching on. "A phony wand."

     "Yes."

      "In my sleep." Carlos smiled.

"Yeah, but the second Uma tests it, she'll know it's fake." Evie argued.

"Okay, so then we get Ben out really fast." Mal shrugged. "We need some kind of diversion."

     "Smoke bombs!" Jay suggested.

Mal pointed at him as Evie placed her hands on his shoulders. "That's perfect. I'll get the chemicals I need from Lady Tremaine's place. That could work." Evie walked over to Mal. "Oh, and sick hair by the way. Evil Stepmom seriously stepped up her game."

"Oh, hey, you wanna know something?" Mal asked. "Dizzy did this."

Evie gasped. "Little Dizzy? Shut up."

"I know! I'm like loving it. It's like a lot lighter." Mal combed her hands through her hair.

     "I'm really proud of her."

Jay loudly cleared his throat while Carlos called out, "Hello?" The two girls paused and looked at them.

Mal clapped her hands together. "Right. Carlos, Jay, you guys meet us at Pirate's Bay, no later than noon. And you guys, losing, not an option. 'Cause we're rotten."

"To the core." Evie, Carlos, and Jay finished.

Mal pointed at Ilaria. "Ria, you can come with Evie and I or stay here, it's up to you."

"I think I'll stay here." Ilaria mumbled out.

Evie frowned. "What? No, come on. You have to meet Dizzy. She would love you." She looked at the others, silently nodding her head for them to leave. The three walked out and Evie walked up to Ilaria, holding out her hands. Ilaria stared at her for a moment before uncrossing her arms, letting Evie take Ilaria's hands into her own. "I know you're upset with me, and you have a right to be. But I am sorry. For all of this. I'll make it up to you."

A part of Ilaria didn't want to forgive her, but the other part of her that loved Evie was fighting back and winning. A sigh fell from her lips. "Promise?"

Evie softly smiled. "Promise." Finally, Ilaria gave in, pushing herself off of the wall with her foot. Evie puckered her lips and Ilaria rolled her eyes but a smile pulled on her face before she gave Evie a kiss. "Let's go." She interlaced their fingers and pulled her outside where Mal was patiently waiting for them.

As the three of them walked, Mal looked at Ilaria. "How did things go with your mom?"

Ilaria frowned, shaking her head. "Not good. In her eyes, I'm just a mistake."

Mal's heart broke for the girl. "I'm so sorry, Ria."

Ilaria shrugged. "It's okay. At least I know the truth now." They made it to Lady Tremaine's shop, pushing past the plastic aside. Evie let out a soft gasp when she spotted Dizzy sitting at a table, headphones covering her ears. Evie put a finger to her mouth, telling them to be quiet. Slowly, Mal and Evie crept forwards while Ilaria watched the interaction.

When Evie kneeled beside her, Dizzy slowly turned her head. "Evie?" Her face instantly lit up. "Evie, you came back!"

Dizzy jumped up from her seat, giving Evie a hug. Evie smiled widely. "Hi!"

"Hey. So great to see you, too." Mal said from behind her, her voice slightly monotone.

Dizzy paid her no mind. "Is it all just like we imagined? Do they really have closets you can walk into? Have you been to a real swimming pool? What does ice cream taste like?"

"It's cold and it's sweet." Evie answered. "And if you eat it too fast, it gives you a headache."

"Really?" Dizzy smiled and Evie nodded. "I saved your sketchbook for you."

Evie looked at her in surprise. "You did?" She ran across the room, grabbing a blue sketchbook and handing it to Evie. "Dizzy." Evie smiled, taking the book. She sat down and began flipping through it, she began reminiscing about old designs she made and Ilaria glanced around the shop. Mal began grabbing supplies they needed for smokebombs and it wasn't until Evie called for her that Ilaria turned her focus back to her girlfriend.

Evie held out a hand for her, motioning for her to come over. Ilaria walked over to her, grabbing her hand and interlacing their fingers. Evie looked at Dizzy with a smile. "Dizzy, this is my girlfriend, Ilaria."

Ilaria gave Dizzy a small wave with her free hand. "Hey."

"Your name sounds familiar." Dizzy said. "You're also really pretty."

     Ilaria softly chuckled. "Thank you."

"Dizzy," Evie carefully said, "Ilaria is the daughter of the Queen of Hearts."

For a split second, fear crossed the little girl's face. Ilaria frowned. "Don't worry, I'm nothing like that wretched woman. I live in Auradon with my aunt. The Queen of Wonderland."

Dizzy's mouth opened. "Does. . . does that mean. . ." She looked at Evie whose smile widened.

     "Ilaria here is a princess."

Dizzy gasped. "Whoa! A real life princess! What's it like being royalty?"

"Exhausting," Ilaria replied. Dizzy giggled and Ilaria allowed a small smile to pull on her lips.  The three girls began to make the smoke bombs, making five in total. Ilaria placed them all in a bag, tugging the bag onto her shoulder.

Evie grabbed a crown. "M, Ria, how amazing would this look with my shredded tee and my heart purse."

"Very amazing," Mal answered. Ilaria smiled, a soft chuckle falling from her lips.

Dizzy turned to look at them before standing. "Take it!" She claimed excitedly. "Take a bunch!"

"Oh, Dizzy." Evie smiled, her heart warming. She grabbed her bag, walking over to Dizzy who had a handful of the things, placing them Evie's bag. Evie's eyes widened. "Oh my gosh. Thank you."

"It would make me so happy to know that you were wearing something of mine in Auradon, almost like me being there myself."

Evie pulled the girl into a hug, a frown settled on her lips. "I really wish I could take you with me."

Dizzy pulled away, looking up at the person she considered her sister. "At least one of us had our dream come true, right?"

Evie swallowed, her heart breaking at Dizzy's words. "Yeah."

"E, we gotta go." Mal softly said. Dizzy gave a small wave to which the three waved back before she walked back over to her desk. They started towards the exiting, pausing to glance at Dizzy one more time. A soft sigh fell from Evie's lips causing Mal to look at her. "She's gonna be okay."

"Yeah," Evie whispered. She shook her head. "But she could be so much more."

Ilaria grabbed Evie's hand, giving it a small squeeze. "Come on." Evie nodded and the three walked out. They made it to the bottom of the stairs and Mal motioned for Ilaria to do the honors. Ilaria grabbed a rock, throwing it at the sign.

"We'll be up in a second." Evie said.

Ilaria nodded. "Okay." She pressed a kiss to Evie's cheek before walking up the stairs and leaving the two friends to talk.
