"𝐈 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐑." Ava groaned as she rummaged through her closet for an outfit, while Ali laid on the bed flipping though tiger beat magazine

"Why not wear your light blue blouse, the one with ruffles at the top, with blue jeans?" Ali suggested

"Isn't that too dressy for Golf N' Stuff?" Ava asked as she looked at a blue blouse

"No. Besides this is a date, it's a little bit different." Ali said as she stood up

"Yeah, I guess so." Ava laughed

"You never told me what happened at the study session." Ali said, while Ava put on her light blue blouse.

"Well, Bobby told me he wasn't really having trouble in French, which is something I already knew as he always answers every question correctly in class. So long story short, he told me he wanted to spend time with me, so Dutch suggested he tell me that he wasn't doing so well." Ava said

Ali chuckled as she tied Ava's blouse in the back. "That sounds like something Dutch would do. I can honestly say, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but their hearts were in the right place."

Ava smiled. "Have you heard from Daniel at all?"

"No." Ali said as she sighed and sat on the bed. "I guess I said something to piss him off, and I didn't mean to."

"I know that honey." Ava said as she joined her best friend. "According to Bobby, Daniel walked into the dojo to sign up for classes and Johnny ran him off the cliff."

Ali sighed, then responded. "I just don't understand, Ava. I want to help Daniel. I really like him. He's been good to me from the very beginning."

"I know, and he'll come around. I promise." Ava reassured as she gave her best friend a side embrace.

"Well, I better get going." Ali said as she stood up. "Bobby will be here soon. Call me and tell me all about it." she smiled

"I will, I promise." Ava smiled as she embraced her best friend

Ali walked out of the room, and Ava walked to her closet to grab her favorite pair of ballet flats. After putting on her flats, she turned off her light, walked out the door, and down the hall, as soon as she reached the living room, the doorbell rang.

Ava opened the door to reveal Bobby in his blue Cobra Kai jacket, jeans, a nice shirt, and tennis shoes, while holding a bouquet of pink English Roses. Smiling brightly, she spoke. "Hi."

"Hi, Ava." Bobby smiled fondly at her. "You look beautiful, but you're beautiful."

Ava did her best to hide the red tint on her face. Thankfully, she was wearing blush, which could hide it well. "Oh, thank you. Please, come in."

Bobby walked inside and gave her the look of pure love and adoration. Giving her the flowers, he spoke. "These are for you."

"Oh, my favorite, but you knew that." Ava smiled. "Thank you so much."

Strolling into the living room, Freya spoke. "Hello Bobby. I thought I heard your voice." the blonde woman smiled as she pulled him in for an embrace, then turned to her niece. "What a beautiful bouquet of flowers."

"Aren't they?" Ava smiled. "Would you mind putting them in some water for me?" she added as she gave the flowers to her aunt

"Not at all." Freya smiled. "You two have fun and enjoy your date."

"Good night, Freya." Bobby smiled

"Goodnight, hon." Freya smiled

Bobby led Ava out the door, and Freya walked into the kitchen to place the pink English roses in a vase. "Has Ava already left for her date?" Elijah asked as he walked into the kitchen

"Yes. He just picked her up. She'll be back soon." Freya said as she placed the vase on the table.

Elijah heaved a sigh. "I still don't trust him completely, but this is Ava's life, so I won't get involved. Why are you able to trust him?"

Freya sighed as she placed one hand on her hip, and one on the counter before she spoke. "When I look at Ava, I see the daughter I lost so long ago, and the daughter I never got to raise. I would like to think if my Lucy had lived, she would have grown up to be just like Ava, to answer your question, I don't completely trust him, but I'm not living in the past."

The two teens arrived at Golf N' Stuff. After Ava gave Bobby his helmet, she grabbed him by the hand and the two walked towards the arcade.

"What's your favorite thing to play here?" Ava asked as they walked towards the entrance

"Well usually we play air hockey." Bobby said.

"We do too. Ali and I usually win. Who usually wins with you guys?" Ava asked as Bobby opened the door for her. "Thanks."

"No problem, and usually Jimmy or I do." Bobby said.

"We'll just have to see, won't we?" Ava teased

"Is that a challenge, Duncan?" Bobby teased

"As a matter of fact, Brown, it most certainly is." Ava teased

After purchasing tokens for the both of them, they walked to the air hockey table, and the two played against one another. It was a battle of who would win. She eventually won against Bobby and she gave him a radiant smile, and he didn't even care that he lost. After their game of air hockey, the two played Pac-Man, Galaga, and Shoot away, it was a round of mini-golf.

Ava swung the club back and hit the ball, making it roll into the hole. When it was Bobby's turn, he missed the hole and he walked over and put the ball in the hole which made her laugh

The next thing they did was drive the go-karts, then jumped on the trampolines, with Ava landing on Bobby as he smiled brightly as he passionately placed his hands on her hips, and he had to fight the urge to kiss her.

After jumping on the trampolines, they decided to take pictures. They got in a photobooth and held hands. The first picture was of Ava smiling at the camera, then the next one was of Ava smiling at the camera with Bobby smiling down at her, the next one Bobby and Ava placed their foreheads together and closed their eyes, for the final photo, both of them just look at each other with loving smiles on their faces. The photo booth printed out their pictures. Ava happily grabbed them and gave Bobby his photo strip, and she put her's in her wallet.

Finally, they took their tickets to the booth and Bobby let her cash them in for a prize. He watched as her beautiful violet eyes lit up and scanned the various animals before landing on a beautiful white bear. "I want that one." Ava smiled

The worker took the stuffed bear off the rack and gave it to her. She smiled at Bobby, who returned the smile, and they walked away smiling, with his arm wrapped around her shoulder.

After eating dinner at the diner down the road, Bobby took Ava to his favorite spot. It overlooked all of the San Fernando Valley, and you could see the lights of the Valley as well. It was absolutely beautiful.

"Wow, this is beautiful." Ava said as she and Bobby sat down on the ground.

"Yeah, I come here all the time after karate practice." Bobby said

"It certainly is beautiful." Ava said

"Not as beautiful as you." Bobby said.

Ava kissed his cheek then laid down in the grass, and Bobby laid down beside her, and slowly reached down to hold her hand in his, which she responded by holding and gently laced her small fingers with his larger ones. He gave her a soft smile as he studied her perfect features. The way the moonlight reflected in her violet eyes, the way it shone on her flawless skin.

Bobby leaned forward, and Ava's eyes fluttered shut, as he brushed his lips against her's. They pulled apart and he rested his forehead against her's.

Ava looked at him, through her long lashes and smiled at him, before she tenderly spoke. "That was amazing." she smiled, despite her nerves

Bobby kept his forehead against her's and his hand on her delicate cheek. "Yeah, it was. You're amazing Ava."

Back at Ava's Van Nuys residence, Bobby walked her to the door, as she clutched his hand, and her bear in the other. "Well." the brunette smiled. "I had a wonderful time."

"I did too." Bobby said, then laced his fingers with her's. "Would you like to go out again sometime?"

Ava smiled. "I would love to." she smiled, then the two just shared a moment of comfortable silence. "Well, I better get inside before my aunt Freya starts getting nosy."

"All right, goodnight, beautiful." Bobby smiled

"Goodnight." Ava smiled

As Ava was about to open the door, she felt a hand on her wrist, and it pulled her body close to Bobby, as his lips found her's, which she responded by putting her arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Ava pulled away slowly, already missing the feeling of him around her, and she gently rested her forehead against his. "Okay, I'm stalling. I don't want to go inside. I want to be with you."

"Yeah, I know the feeling all too well." Bobby gently spoke as he caressed her back

Ava kissed his chin, then walked into the house, and the two smiled at each other as she closed the door. "So, how was it?" Freya asked

Ava turned around and smiled at Freya and Rebecca, who were both sitting on the couch, anxiously waiting to hear about the date. "Oh, you startled me. Hi. Hey, auntie Bec."

"Hey sweetness, get over here and tell us about the date." Rebecca smiled as she patted a seat on the couch in between her and Freya

Ava sighed as she sat down in between her aunts. "Well, it was amazing. We went to Golf N' Stuff and of course, I beat him at air hockey, and it was a tie on the arcade games." she smiled. "Then we went to the Encino look out, and had our first kiss."

"Was it everything you imagined it to be?" Rebecca questioned, she was a teenager at heart.

"Everything and more." Ava smiled. "Anyway, I'm headed up to bed. I love you both."

"Love you too, sweetness." Rebecca smiled as she kissed her niece's forehead

"Love you too, gorgeous." Freya smiled as she kissed her niece's forehead

Meanwhile, in Encino, Bobby parked his bike, and turned it off. After taking off his helmet, he walked inside the house, and hung his bike keys on the key ring.

"Grandma?" Bobby called as he took off his jacket and placed it on the coat rack

"In the living room, honey." Nettie smiled, and Bobby walked into the living room to find his grandmother reading a book. Taking off her reading glasses, and setting her book on the coffee table, she gently spoke. "Hi sweetie. How was the date? Given by the look on your face, I'd say it went well."

Bobby smiled fondly as he thought about his beautiful Ava. "It was amazing, grams. She's amazing. We played mini golf, she beat me at air hockey, we tied at all the arcade games, and we had dinner at this great new diner that opened. Grandma, she makes me so happy, I would be around her all the time if I could."

"I know that honey." Nettie smiled. "It was easy to see how happy she made you that night when you two studied together."

Bobby took out his wallet, and showed Nettie the photo strip of him and Ava together. "Now I have more photos of her and I together."

"Oh, that beautiful soul." Nettie smiled as she gently took the photo strip from her grandson. "She looks so much like Diana. I miss that wonderful soul more than you'll ever know. She was my dearest friend, even after the two of you had your falling out, I would still talk to her every day." she added as she gave the photostrip back to Bobby. "She always asked about you."

"I know, grandma, I'm so sorry." Bobby said as he held his grandmother's hand.

"I didn't want to say anything to Ava, but I've been working on another project, in memory of Klaus and Diana." Nettie said, as she opened her sketch pad. "Jane said they'll be ready by Christmas, but they're a custom Barbie and Ken."

Bobby studied the sketch of the dolls, and the similitudes they had to Klaus and Diana, from Klaus's blue-green eyes, to Diana's heartwarming smile and hypnotic violet eyes.

"She'll love it, grams." Bobby smiled.

"I certainly hope so." Nettie smiled. "Anyway, it's late. Go on to bed, I'll see you in the morning."

Bobby nodded and kissed his grandmother's cheek. I'm his bedroom, he placed a photo of him and Ava on his nightstand, as well as the others next to their freshman year photos.

In her Van Nuys residence, Ava hung the photo strip of her and Bobby up on the wall, next to the photo of her and Ali on the wall. As she laid down in bed, thoughts ran through her head, how just a few weeks ago, she still hated him and the ground he walked on, now... she was beginning to fall for him.
