Time had passed swiftly, and months flew by. Pond sat in his office, the quiet hum of the air conditioning and the soft clatter of his keyboard filling the room. He was determined to finish all his work as soon as possible because he had something far more important awaiting him—a one-month leave for his wedding. A smile tugged at his lips as he thought about it. His wedding. The moment he had waited for, to marry the love of his life, Phuwin.

Pond’s heart swelled with happiness. All he wanted was to spend as much time as possible with Phuwin before their big day. He didn’t want work or anything else to get in the way, so he decided to overwork now, trying to clear his schedule. He knew that once the wedding preparations kicked into full gear, they’d both be too busy to steal quiet moments together. But until then, he wanted to be with his baby, his Phuwin, whenever he could.

He focused on his work, reviewing documents and sending emails, his fingers flying over the keyboard. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed his phone screen light up on his desk. He reached for it absentmindedly, but when he saw Phuwin’s name on the screen, his heart skipped a beat. The messages were from his fiancé, checking up on him as always.

Phuwin: “Baby, have you eaten yet? Don’t tell me you’re skipping meals again! ”

Phuwin: “Pond, are you overworking yourself? Please take care of yourself, okay?”

Pond couldn’t help but smile as he read Phuwin’s concerned messages. His heart warmed at how much Phuwin cared for him. The little things, like asking if he had eaten, showed how deeply Phuwin loved him. It made him feel like the luckiest man alive, knowing there was someone who cared so much about his well-being.

With a soft chuckle, he typed out a quick reply.

Pond: “I’m okay, baby. Don’t worry. I had a snack earlier, and I’m wrapping up soon. Just trying to finish things here so I can be with you. 😊”

He hit send and stared at the phone for a moment, thinking about how much his life had changed since Phuwin entered it. Not only was he madly in love, but he had found someone who truly saw him, cared for him, and made him feel complete. Phuwin was more than just his fiancé—he was his peace, his happiness, and his reason for everything.

Pond leaned back in his chair, sighing contentedly. The image of Phuwin filled his mind: the way he smiled, his gentle touch, the way his eyes sparkled with love whenever they were together. Soon, they would be married. Soon, they would start a life together.

As he glanced back at his work, his phone buzzed again.

Phuwin: “Good! Just don’t push yourself too hard. I miss you 😘”

Pond felt his heart melt. He quickly replied.

Pond: “I miss you too, baby. Can’t wait to be with you soon. I’m hurrying so I can spend some time with you before all the wedding stuff takes over. Love you so much. ❤️”

With that, Pond put his phone down and got back to work, feeling more motivated than ever. He didn’t mind the extra hours, knowing that soon enough, he’d be with Phuwin, holding him close. And in just a short time, they would be saying their vows, promising to love each other for the rest of their lives.

The thought alone filled him with a sense of peace and excitement. No matter how much work lay ahead, it was all worth it because he was going home to the person who made his heart whole.

As the wedding preparations kicked off, the energy around Pond and Phuwin was electric. James, had taken charge of planning the wedding again, determined to make it an unforgettable event. This wasn’t just any wedding—it was Phuwin's, and James wanted to make it the best day of their lives. The couple was now heading to Pond’s house to finalize the wedding dates and themes with their families.

Once they arrived and everyone gathered, the excitement filled the room as they discussed colors, decorations, and the date. It was finally settled: in two weeks, Pond and Phuwin would be married. As everyone dispersed, leaving them alone, the weight of it all settled on them—not in a burdensome way, but in a heartwarming, life-changing way. This was it. In just fourteen days, they’d be bound together forever, and the thought made both of their hearts swell with joy.

After everyone left, Pond took Phuwin’s hand and led him to his room. As soon as they entered, Pond slipped his arms around Phuwin from behind, resting his chin on his shoulder and nuzzling his neck. He sighed softly, feeling utterly content with Phuwin in his arms. “I can’t believe we’re getting married in two weeks,” Phuwin murmured, leaning into Pond’s embrace. “It feels like just yesterday I was confused about my feelings and crying over how you were ignoring me... And now look at us. We’re about to get married.” He chuckled lightly, shaking his head at the memory.

Pond smiled into his neck and replied, “I’m sorry for ignoring you back then—”

But before he could finish, Phuwin turned around and silenced him with a soft kiss. Their lips moved together slowly, lovingly, as if they were savoring the moment. When they pulled apart, Phuwin cupped Pond’s cheeks, looking into his eyes. “Shh, puppy. Don’t apologize again. You’ve said sorry so many times already, and it wasn’t your fault to begin with. So, no more apologies, okay? Let’s just focus on this moment, on us.” His voice was soft and reassuring, filled with love.

Pond’s heart melted at Phuwin’s words. He smiled and leaned his forehead against Phuwin’s, their noses touching. “This is why I love you so much, baby. You understand me better than anyone. You never make me feel alone. You’re always there, waiting for me to open up, but never pushing. You just know me.”

Phuwin smiled back, his eyes filled with warmth and affection. “And you, Pond... You make me feel so cherished, so loved. I’ve never felt this happy or content before. You take care of me in ways I didn’t even know I needed. You make everything better just by being with me.”

They stayed like that for a moment, their foreheads pressed together, staring into each other’s eyes, sharing a silent connection that didn’t need words. They didn’t need to speak to know what the other was feeling—just being in each other’s arms was enough.

Pond gently cupped Phuwin’s face and kissed him again, softly, slowly, as if sealing all the promises they had made to each other in that one moment. When they pulled apart, they both smiled, their hearts full, knowing that no matter what the future held, they would face it together, side by side.
