After Pond freshened up, Phuwin popped some popcorn and prepared the snacks. They both settled comfortably in the pillow fort, surrounded by the soft glow of fairy lights.

“So, what are we watching?” Pond asked, leaning back against the pillows.

“You choose,” Phuwin replied with a warm smile, handing him the remote.

Pond didn’t hesitate and quickly chose, "Spider-Man," grinning at Phuwin. “It’s a classic.”

As the movie started, they both relaxed, munching on popcorn. Their hands occasionally brushed each other’s while reaching for snacks, sending sparks each time their skin made contact. Pond watched the movie intently, but every so often, he glanced at Phuwin, his heart racing at how close they were. Phuwin, meanwhile, was more focused on the feeling of being next to Pond than on the movie itself.

Nearing the end of the film, Phuwin felt something on his shoulder. He glanced over and found Pond had rested his head there, eyes closed, breathing softly. Phuwin’s heart swelled at the sight. He carefully switched off the TV, making sure not to disturb Pond, and then gently maneuvered him to lie down on the pillow fort. He cleaned up the snacks and returned to find Pond sleeping peacefully.

He stood there for a moment, debating what to do. He didn’t want to wake Pond, but he knew if Pond slept like this, he would wake up with a sore back. Finally, he decided to gently shake him awake.

“Pond, wake up,” Phuwin whispered, kneeling beside him.

Pond stirred, blinking groggily as he looked around in confusion. When he realized he had fallen asleep, his face turned apologetic. “Sorry, Phu, I didn’t mean to…”

Phuwin cut him off, placing a finger on his lips. “Shh, don’t apologize. I know how tired you are, and I enjoyed spending time with you,” he said softly. “Now, come on, I’ll walk you to your room, and then I’ll leave.”

Pond felt a pang of sadness at those words. He didn’t want Phuwin to leave, but he wasn’t sure how to say it without making him uncomfortable. He hesitated before speaking, “Mmm… isn’t it late already? How will you drive this late?”

Phuwin chuckled. “No, it’s not that late. I’ve driven later than this before, so don’t worry,” he replied with a reassuring smile.

Pond pouted, trying to think of a way to keep Phuwin here without sounding desperate. “But… you’re tired, aren’t you?”

“No, I’m not tired, really. It’s okay, I can drive,” Phuwin insisted as he moved toward the door.

Just when he was about to leave, Pond blurted out, “Well, you can stay tonight, right? You can sleep here and go tomorrow.” His voice was filled with hope, but he immediately started to regret his words, worried he might have made Phuwin uncomfortable.

Phuwin froze, his heart skipping a beat. Stay tonight? The words echoed in his mind, and he felt his cheeks heating up. He looked at Pond, slightly blushing and not knowing what to say.

Seeing Phuwin's stunned expression, Pond panicked. “Uh, Phuwin, I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable! I have another room; you can sleep there, I mean... you know, just so you don’t have to drive now,” he rambled on, looking down in embarrassment.

Phuwin walked up to him and cupped Pond’s cheeks, lifting his face to look into his eyes. “Pond, you’re babbling. Relax, okay?” He spoke gently, his eyes full of warmth. “You didn’t make me uncomfortable, not at all. You’re not a stranger; you’re my special one. So don’t think like that, alright? I’m happy to be here with you. I’ll stay tonight.”

Pond gazed into Phuwin’s eyes, feeling a rush of emotions. The air between them grew tense as they unconsciously closed the gap. Their faces were mere inches apart, noses brushing lightly against each other. They could feel each other’s breath, and Pond gulped, his heart beating wildly.

But reality quickly hit them, and they both stepped back, looking away awkwardly. Phuwin was a blushing mess, his cheeks turning a rosy pink, while Pond’s ears were as red as a tomato.

“Um, I’ll just… go to the guest room,” Phuwin stammered, his voice slightly shaky. He hurriedly walked toward the room, leaving Pond standing there with his heart still racing.

Inside the guest room, Phuwin leaned against the closed door, biting his lip to suppress a shy smile. His heart was pounding abnormally fast as he replayed the moment in his head. Then, a sudden knock on the door startled him out of his thoughts. Clearing his throat, he opened the door to find Pond standing there with a fresh set of clothes and a towel.

“Here, take these. Go shower and wear these. There’s a new toothbrush in the cabinet, too. If you need anything else, just ask me, okay?” Pond said, trying to sound casual.

Phuwin took the clothes, nodding slightly. “Mm, yeah, thanks for the clothes.”

Pond frowned at that. “Why are you thanking me for clothes, though? You said I’m your special one, right? So, my clothes are yours too.” The words tumbled out of his mouth before he could stop them, and he immediately clamped his mouth shut, his face turning beet red. “Uh, okay… goodnight. Sleep tight,” he mumbled hastily and turned to leave.

Phuwin watched him disappear down the hallway, chuckling softly to himself. Shaking his head, he whispered, “Cute puppy.” Then, with a fond smile, he closed the door, feeling a warmth spread through his chest.
