𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 leaving the dojo, Missie drove toward her Encino Residence. Upon returning home, Brooke and Mason went to bed, while Missie paced around the living room, anxiously waiting for Johnny's call. Her fist thought: What if Kreese tried to kill him and succeeded? Pushing the negative thoughts aside, she walked to the fridge to grab herself a cherry coke, then walked to the living room and turned on her music. As Patsy Cline's Sweet Dreams of You began to play, she grabbed the latest issue of Vogue's magazine. As she flipped through the pages, there was a loud knock at the door.
"Coming!" Missie said as she stood up from the couch, placed her magazine on the coffee table and walked to the door.
As she opened the door, she found Johnny outside, slightly injured, but he was alright nonetheless, and she couldn't help but feel relief. "You had me terrified, you know that, right?" Missie said as she opened the door and let him inside. "I was worried sick about you."
"Princess, you should know I'm a survior and can survive anything." Johnny said
"John, I had a horrible feeling that something was going to happen to you, especially after—" Missie was cut off by Johnny
"Hey, I'm not going anywhere, princess." Johnny reassured
Missie led him to the table, and grabbed an icepack for his hand. As Johnny sat at the table, Missie applied ointment to his hand. "I thought he was dead. I never thought I would see him again." Missie sighed
"Yeah, you and me both." Johnny said. As he removed the icepack from his hands, he heard Missie take deep breaths. He knew she still had memories of that night, just like he did.
"I have to ask, do you have any idea what you're going to do since he's back?" Missie asked as she closed the ointment, then walked over and got a beer out of the fridge for him.
"Well, I'm not letting him in my dojo if that's what you mean." Johnny said. "I got rid of him."
"John, you know he's going to use that against you," Missie said, setting the beer can on the table.
"It's mine now." Johnny said. "My name is on the lease, so it belongs to me."
Missie sighed as she made her way back to the fridge to grab a cherry coke. "John, I understand your intentions are good, but please promise me you'll be cautious, especially now that he's back."
"I promise, princess." Johnny said, as he stood up from the table, and walked to the counter where she stood. "Thank you for patching me up."
"Of course, that's what friends are for." Missie smiled
Johnny pulled Missie in for gentle embrace, and she welcomed it. "I'm so glad I found you again. You have no idea how much I've missed you."
"Me too, John." Missie whispered.
After pulling away, their noses brushed against each other, and their lips inched just apart. He leaned forward, and so did she, until their lips met in a tender kiss, igniting a spark that sent shivers down their spines—the same spark they had felt in high school and college.
"I'm sorry," Johnny sighed, looking at Missie, who smiled.
"It's alright," Missie smiled. They gazed into each other's eyes once more and pressed their lips together.
Missie wrapped her arms around Johnny's neck, while he reciprocated by wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him. Johnny softly brushed his tongue against Missie's bottom lip, eliciting a soft groan from her. As they finally pulled away, Missie rested her forehead against his, their foreheads touching in a tender embrace.
"I meant what I said earlier, " Missie said, gently caressing his neck. "Thank you for being there for the kids and I, and even my nieces."
"You know I've always got your back, princess." Johnny smiled.
"Be careful going home, okay?" Missie said
"I always am." Johnny said as he pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "I'll call you later."
Missie nodded, giving him a tender kiss on the lips. Johnny wrapped his arms around her waist. "Thank you, Missie, for everything. I truly mean that."
"Hey, it's no problem." Missie smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Whenever you need me, just give me a call. Remember, my door is always open to you, day or night."
"Same goes for me princess. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" Johnny said as he held her close to him and kissed her forehead one last time
"Goodnight Johnny."

Missie sat up against the headboard, the soft hum of the radio filling the room, as she read her favorite book, Where the Crawdads Sing. As she turned the page, Brooke, standing at the open door, gave a gentle knock. Missie glanced up, removed her reading glasses, and smiled. "Hi, sweetheart. I didn't know you were still awake. Come in."
Brooke smiled and settled next to her mother on the bed. "I got up to grab a cherry water. Mom, who was that man at the dojo?"
Missie sighed and wrapped her arm around her daughter. "That was Johnny's former sensei, John Kreese. He's the reason Johnny and your uncles left Cobra Kai. He attempted to kill Johnny that night."
"But if he tried to kill Johnny and the uncles, why is he still alive?" Brooke inquired, resting her head on her mother's shoulder.
Missie sighed, running her fingers through her daughter's brunette hair. "I don't know, sweetheart," she replied, a hint of worry in her voice. There was a brief pause before she asked again, "Are you okay, honey?"
Brooke sat up, facing her mother. "I've been having those dreams again, the night we found out about dad." Missie nodded, encouraging her daughter to continue. "It's not like watching a movie or anything. I can't remember the details. I just feel so helpless, like I have no control."
Missie wrapped her arms around her daughter and pulled her close. "Sweetheart, your father and brother loved you more than anything. They're only dreams, sweetheart."
Brooke smiled and nodded. "Thanks, Mom. I love you."
"I love you too sweetheart."

The gentle melody of Elton John's Your Song played on the radio as Missie responded to emails and organized files on her desk. After taking a sip of her morning coffee, a knock resonated on the office door. "Come in," she called out.
"Hey hon." Beth said as she and Kathy, and Lana walked into the office and took a seat in the chairs across from Missie's desk. "You've been quiet since you got here. Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Missie said. "How are things up front?"
"Surprisingly slow. How's Johnny?" Kathy asked. "He seemed glum after the dojo's win."
"He's doing okay." Missie said as she ran a hand through her brunette hair. "After the tournament, he came over and we kissed."
"That's interesting." Lana said. "So where does that leave the two of you?"
"I'm not sure, we haven't spoken since the kiss." Missie said. "It all happened so suddenly."
"Do the twins know?" Beth asked
"No, because nothing happened." Missie said. "It was just a kiss."
"So, how do you feel?" Kathy asked.
Missie ran her hand through her long hair. "I don't know how to feel. I still love my husband."
"Missie, Jack would want you to be happy. You know that." Kathy said. "You'll always love him. That's something that will never change."
"I didn't want to tell you and Lana at first, because I didn't want to upset you both. I don't want you thinking I'm replacing Jack, because that's not what's happening." Missie said. "I love him with all of my heart. He was the love of my life."
"Missie, we completely understand," Kathy said, as Lana smiled and nodded in agreement. "We know you do."
"Let us ask you, did you feel it in your knees?" Beth asked
"I felt it all over." Missie said. "I honestly don't know how to explain it."
"You still have feelings for him, don't you?" Beth asked
Missie ran a hand through her brunette hair. "I mean, I spent 3 years with him, but my love for my husband was different. It was one of those that only came around once in a lifetime."
"Jack would want you to be happy." Lana said. "We know you love our brother with all your heart, but I can also see you still have feelings for Johnny. You two are going to have to talk about this."
"I know, but I just don't want to make it awkward." Missie sighed. "I just don't know how to talk about these things with him anymore. Besides we haven't done this in 30 years."
"Just talk it out." Kathy said. "You never know."

Miguel and Hawk arrived at the Cobra Kai dojo, talking about what kind of cars they were going to get when they passed Driver's Ed.
"All right, so I get my license next week. My mom's gonna give me her Sentra, I think I'll put a blue racing stripe down the middle, hood to tail." Hawk said
"Subtle. I like it." Miguel said, while Hawk laughed. As the two got closer to the door, they noticed a group of teens standing near the front door. "Looks like we got some new students."
"Fresh meat." Hawk grinned and hastily slapped his chest, then sauntered towards them. Miguel kept his head up, following closely behind him. "Check this out."
"Don't. C'mon man." Miguel said
"Hey, mouth breathers, move it." Hawk demanded, as he approached the two teens that stood by the door
"Sorry about that. I'll get the door." One of the boys insisted
"So you wanna be Cobra Kais huh? Hawk asked, then put his fist up and acted like he was going to punch them, making them flinch. "You've got a long road ahead of you."
Inside, Miguel and Hawk walked in and noticed the back mirror missing, and furrowed their brows in confusion. There was broken glass scattered on the floor and it looked like a fire had been started.
"What the hell happened here?" Miguel asked
Aisha shrugged, "Looks like sensei threw a party."
"Must of been pretty sick of fire got involved." Hawk said
Miguel looked around the room. He didn't think there was a party. It looked like two people had gotten into a fight, but over what? As the new kids were chatting excitedly...
"QUIET!"
The dojo went silent as Johnny walked out of his office in his black gi, approaching the new group of kids. "The dojo's closed to new students today." the blonde stated
"We just wanted to sign up, after we saw the tournament." one of them replied as he stepped forward
"Do I need to say it again? Get out!" Johnny demanded, and the kids left as quickly as they could. "Let 's go, move it. Come back tomorrow. And bring your checkbooks." the blonde said Once the last kid was out of the door, he turned to his students. "Everyone, fall in!"
"Must've have been a rager, Sensei." Hawk grinned.
"Yeah, were you celebrating all weekend?" Miguel questioned.
"Celebrating, what? My students are a bunch of pussies." Johnny spat. "Diaz, Hawk, upfront!"
Hestitantly, the two teens stood in the front, facing the other students. "Hawk, did you attack your opponent when his back was turned?" Johnny asked, circling both him and Miguel
"Yes, sensei." Hawk answered, confused as to why he asked.
"Diaz, did you purposely attack your apponent's injury?" Johnny asked
"Yes sensei." Miguel answered firmly
"You think that makes you badass?" Johnny asked. The two boys glanced at each other, their mouths opening and closing, unsure of what to say. "What's the matter, too tough a question? Maybe you need some help." the blonde snapped, then turned to Aisha. "Ms. Robinson."
"Yes sensei." Aisha firmly replied
"Two cobras in the jungle. One kills the strongest lion, the other kills a crippled monkey. Which cobra do you wanna be?" Johnny asked.
"The one that killed the lion, sensei." Aisha said
"And why is that?" Johnny asked
"Because it killed a stronger animal." Aisha replied
"Correct! Cobra Kai is about being badass. And the baddest badass is the one who beats his opponent when he's at his strongest. Not when his back is turned. Not when he's injured! Is that understood?" Johnny said
"Yes sensei!" The class answered in unison.
"That means no more cheating. No more fighting dirty. From here on out, those are pussy moves, and you don't wanna be pussies do you?" Johnny asked.
"No, Sensei." The class answered.
"Good. It's why I had you wear your white belts. We're starting over." Johnny stated. He then turned to August and Hawk. "Diaz, Hawk, 50 pushups on your knuckles. Ms. Robinson, warm them up."
Aisha nodded and Johnny stormed off to his office, while Miguel and Hawk got down onto their knuckles to begin their push ups.

Johnny stood outside Missie's door, contemplating whether to knock or call her. Ever since they shared a kiss, he hasn't been able to stop thinking about it.
Meanwhile, inside, Missie grabbed a cherry coke from the fridge and walked to the living room, where, after sitting on the couch, After turning on the TV and settling on an old movie, a knock was heard at the door.
"Coming," Missie said as she rose from the couch. Opening the door, she was greeted by Johnny standing outside. Her radiant smile lit up her face as she welcomed him in. "Hey there. Come on in."
"Thanks," Johnny smiled as he entered the foyer. The two of them then walked to the couch and sat down.
"So how are you feeling? Is your back feeling better?" Missie asked
"I'm doing good." Johnny smiled. "How's it going with you? How are the twins and the girls?"
"The twins are doing good. Brooke is at her boyfriend's place, and Jesse is out with his friends, and the girls are doing fine." Missie said. "Is there anything I can get you? Water? Tea?"
"I'll have tea," Johnny said as Missie stood up and headed to the kitchen, preparing a glass of iced tea for both of them.
"So, how's the dojo going, especially after the win?" Missie asked, returning to her spot next to Johnny.
"So, we're not going to talk the kiss?" Johnny asked. "How are you feeling? Be honest with me."
Missie sighed, running a hand through her brunette hair. "The kiss reminded me of all the good times we had together. Your turn."
"Missie, I still think about you. It was stupid of me to let you go." Johnny said. "Now that you're back in my life, I don't want to lose you ever again. I meant what I said last night. I missed you and I've never been able to stop thinking about you."
"So where do we go from here?" Missie asked.
"We can take things slow, and see where it goes. I don't want to lose you again." Johnny said.
"I'd like that." Missie smiled. "And don't worry, John. I'm not going anywhere, and tonight, neither are you. It's late, and I don't want you driving back to Reseda this late."

Missie and Johnny laid down in her bed as the brunette turned off the vintage lamp. She rested her head on the blonde's chest, and he gently ran his fingers through her brunette hair.
"Goodnight, princess." Johnny smiled
"Goodnight, Johnny." Missie smiled as she slowly drifted off, while tracing his abdominal muscles through his teeshirt
