Book cover :: 4/10

Not the worst cover I've seen but definitely not the best. Wouldn't have caught my eye I were just scrolling through books in my free time. The @ sign is kind of on the face and for me it really disturbs the aesthetics.

Title :: 2/10

"Save me " isn't something unique or out of the common, there are a lot of books with the same title.

Description :: 6/15

Isn't really that intriguing as it mostly consists of quotes from the book. Doesn't tell much about the story and personally it wouldn't interest me much. I like the fact that there is a clear warning for all the sensitive and possibly triggering topics so people are aware of what they're gonna read.

Storyline :: 10/20

I'm giving the storyline only a 10 because more than half of it is similar to the bts webtoon. There is not much authenticity so would rather read the webtoon itself.

Characters :: 2/10

Characters are very basic, its the same with their communications with one another and their actions. I dont see much character improvement throughout the story. They are very "stencilled" and/or "typical". I hate how Seokjin is portrayed as a super mad man that every girl id drooling over.I hate the fact that second hand characters (i'm talking about all the girls obsessing over Seokjin) are seen as just dumb fangirls. Depression is portrayed as simple sadness and in general there are many not very likeable features about the characters in the story.

Dialogue delivery :: 2/15

The dialogues are similar to that of a kids book. The repeated usage of "oppa" and the suffix "-ah" to make the english sound more like korean wasn't giving the book any justice and I am deeply sorry but I couldn't help but roll my eyes at these petty words. It just makes me cringe and stop reading for a bit. Also the dialogues are mostly short and basic. The characters communicate as if they scan one another every given second so that they wouldn't need words to describe their actions or thoughts. I know its hard to write longer and more inclusive dialogues, but that makes the story more enjoyable.

Grammar and vocab :: 5/20

The grammar is bad. There are a lot of missed words. There are sentences that have to periods. There are a lot of mistakes. Good grammar is one of the main things in a good book. It was kinfd of frustrating to read when I had to think over sentences multiple times because of unclear and/or bad gramma, added to these were the weird structure of sentences.

Total :: 31/100

Weaknesses and Strengths :: I was harsh while rating the story, but I think the criticism should help the writer in future. The fact that the whole story is based on the webtoon threw me off so badly but its the writer's choice nonetheless. I believe that every writer has potential and if they want to be good, eventually they can be, but it will take a lot of work. Personally I didn't like the book, but my opinion isn't the only one out there. The book is definitely in need of lots of improvement. If the author wishes to be a good one, I think they sure will be able to be if they work on it more.
