"Did you truly know who Jenny Amick was?"

"Well... she was my girlfriend so.. I would say yeah."

"But it seems that you and Jenny were always getting into arguments and having disagreements almost every single day."

Andy Halls didn't know why he was being interrogated so harshly — well, he did, he was the boyfriend to Jenny and now she's missing — everybody always suspects the boyfriend. "Look, Detective, I don't know what you heard but that is not true." The two detectives interrogating him were Detective Callahan — smart, confident, intimidating — and Detective Chase — empathetic, head strong, compassionate — Andy just wanted to leave, he knew he didn't do it, he didn't do anything to Jenny.

Jenny was a special girl and the fact that she found love and comfort in Andy saddened him a bit — he wasn't exactly the best boyfriend in the world... "This is so fucked!" Andy exclaimed as he leaned back in the metal chair. "Look, just tell us, did you or did you not have something to do with the disappearance of Jenny Amick?" Andy looked up at Detective Callahan and shook his head, "No. I had nothing to do with her disappearance."

The club was more empty than usual — all the lively people were now replaced by those drinking their sorrows away and staff trying their best to look alive. Christian Blake stood behind the bar and seemed to be wiping the counter over and over and — "Chris?" Looking up he saw both Halle Grant and Sid Jenkins, both of them looking less lively than usual. "Oh.. hey you two. Didn't expect for you guys to come here... 'specially with everything that's going on..." He trailed off — they stayed in silence before Sid opened her mouth — going to say something before... she closed it. It was better to be silent in a time like this, because what was there to say? Their friend was missing and they couldn't do anything about it.

The front door opened and Andy walked in, head down and walking fast to the door labeled "STAFF." The three friends watched as he did but Andy didn't even care to look over at them, he just wanted to be away from prying eyes because he knows that he didn't do anything. "Has he said anything to you?" Halle asked as she looked back to Christian and he shook his head, "Surprisingly no, he's usually the one coming to get drinks for his band but now he's as quiet as a mouse." Putting the rag that he had been using to wipe the counter on his shoulder, he leaned with his hands on the counter, putting on a smile, he looked between the two girls, "Well, would you ladies like anything to drink?"

Backstage sat Andy's band — Dylan Carter-Finch, the drummer, Jessie Johnson, the bassist, and Robert Mercury, the guitarist. "Hey Andy, didn't know you were gonna show up.." Dylan smiled — tried to at least — but Andy didn't even look at them. Jessie and Robert shared a look, both of them knowing how worked up Andy could get over things — he was known for getting angry at things out of his control. "What makes them think I would hurt my girlfriend?" Andy suddenly asked as he looked at his band mates — smoothing his hair back. They all looked between each other, waiting on who would say something first.

Andy looked like he was about to burst apart at the seams — he was breathing heavily. "I didn't fucking do anything to her! They should know that! I was here, rehearsing, that's my fucking alibi!" He groaned before sitting down at a nearby beanbag. He held his face in his hands, he wouldn't cry — no, he would calm down and realize he was being questioned so harshly because of his close connection to Jenny. "Bullshit, it's all bullshit." He mumbled to himself making Robert sigh while Jessie looked down at her bass guitar in her hands, "Look, how about we just, perform something? That should take your mind off of Jenny... take all our minds off of Jenny.."

A/N: me, updating this with an actual chapter? that's crazy. anyways, i hope everyone likes this beginning chapter because i found it to be enjoyable writing — i don't know when the next chapter should come out but it'll most likely be in a couple weeks — also, to those that applied, finish your relationships if you haven't already and please put who you'd like to have as love interest because surprisingly no one really said anything about characters actually wanting a relationship with other characters ;( — besides that, thank you for reading, hope i wrote your characters correctly !!
