For as long as he could remember Minho ran. He ran in the Maze, he ran from WCKD. That's all he knew how to do, that's all he spent his whole life doing.

But Elizabeth was always there. She was a constant, a source of comfort for him.

In a world of fear and danger, Elizabeth was everything he wanted. As long as she was there, he was at peace and happy, and vice-versa.

They thought they were safe when they finally escaped the Maze. But what awaits them in the real world is much, much worse than they have ever experienced.

Will they choose to fight for their freedom or will they accept their fate?

- hi hi! sofie here. i have been working on this fic since august (it's october, for the record), so i hope u guys enjoy it.
- high school is really stressful, so i'm not sure how often the updates will be.
