𝘈𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘮𝘯 𝘉𝘺𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘗𝘖𝘝 :

They left me.

Lydia and Mason abandoned me, they promised me they never would. They promised me we would all stuck together and if we ever had to leave that they would take me with. Betrayal is all I felt the moment I stood out from behind Caleb who angrily stared at the empty cage.

The 4 blondes, the dirty blonde haired girl, the two brunettes, and Lydia and Mason all gone. " where are they! " he yelled in my face when I gulped as I thought for a moment. " I don't know! They ran! " I protested.

" find them! " he yelled walking towards the door, " bring them back to me dead or alive I don't care! Kill them if you have to! " he said before slamming the door behind him. " you heard him " I said to the people that stared at me, I walked out of the cell room walking up the steps as I stared towards Caleb who looked disappointed.

Lydia was definitely a suspicious one but Mason doing this was a shocking, he never failed to disappoint Caleb in anyway possible. I grabbed a gun off of the table outside of the doorway shoving it into my jacket pocket, that hung down the sides of me as I kept a straight face walking over to Caleb who handed me a knife.

" don't disappoint me either " he snarled as I nodded with a little smile, I was honestly just as pissed at Lydia and Mason as he was. I was betrayed by the two people I had left in my life that I truly cared about and saw as family. And now their gone because they can't keep a simple promise, if they told me they were helping the people I would have been able to help.

I hopped into the front of a car after stabbing a zombie and throwing it back in anger, two other people got into the car with me as Caleb had planned to send two guards with me. I looked up at the watchtower seeing Caleb he nodded at me as I nodded to him before glancing away.

My guess was they went out the back door, it was pitch black out as I turned my lights on, " keep an eye out for any of them " I spoke driving around the walls towards the road that led out the back gates, I drove and drove until I turned around in my seat seeing that two more cars with people were sent with us, he was clearly serious about this search.

I stopped in front of a miniature city, not a large city but still some tall large buildings. This was the kind of place Lydia would hide out in, I opened the car door closing it before shoving a zombie away from me as a guy stabbed its head.

I signalled for everyone to split up into different groups and to have their walkie talkies ready in case of emergencies, I took my gun out holding it carefully by the handle as I quietly walked into the tall glass building, two guys walked behind me checking around every new room we entered, I suddenly saw a shadow fly across the hallway into a different room, I quickly raised my gun towards the end of the hall.

" Come on out! " I yelled towards the person who was obviously still hiding in the room, gripping the handle of my gun now with my finger hovering over the trigger in anger, " Lydia- " I was about to talk more when a zombie ran out of the room next to me nearly throwing me over.

" fuck! " I blurted out before shoving it back and one of the guys shot it in the head, " are you okay Autumn?! " he said before I picked up the zombies head seeing if it could be Lydia or Mason or one of the others, " yeah I'm fine, but you most likely attracted a bunch now! " I complained before fixing my coat and walking down the hallway, " you guys go around! " I yelled to them as they nodded and went the other way and up the stairs.

I continued walking down the hallway a little furious about the person who went into the room when suddenly I heard the door open and a pair of muscular arms wrapped around my waist pulling me into the room and shutting the door, I was about to yell or speak but a hand had gone over my mouth. " shh shh " a deep but also soft voice spoke into my ear when I calmed a bit.

Right when they removed their hand off of my mouth and their grip on my waist loosened a bit I managed to walk away and turn around quickly, I pointed a gun straight at the person. That's when I saw him the blonde boy I made eye contact with when I first saw him in the barn and then I saw him in the cell before leaving the room.

He pushed his fluffy blonde hair back as he stared at me, " lower the gun sweetheart " he said as he had a little bit of a smirk on his face. " I'm not your sweetheart " I replied still having the gun pointed towards his head.

" I know " he said more confident now, " where are they? " I said the gun still griped tightly in the palm of my hand facing his blue crystal eyes, " it's just me " he said in a sharp tone. I could tell he was lying to my face, " don't lie to me " I shook my head a little disappointed in him.

" I'm not lying " he rested his back against the wall, he was a very hard person to try to convince to say anything. I hated it, " you definitely are " I tilted my head. " I definitely am " he finally agreed as he smirked at me.

" you gonna shoot or what's happening here? " he nodded at me and I just sighed and lowered my gun, " why not? " he said again noticing the look on my face. " because I don't want to kill you, you're to pretty looking " i grunted.

" bold of you " he stood up in front of me as I put my gun into my back pocket, " what is this Caleb guy to you? " he raised an eyebrow as I thought about it for a moment. The man who saved me but also brought me through hell my entire life in this apocalypse, " just a leader " I shrugged.

" a shitty one " he had a cigarette in his mouth after holding a lighter up to the end of it, " you don't know him " I defended. Even tho I could honestly 100% agree with him that Caleb was the most shitty person ever, but my guards could possibly hear if they came back looking for me.

" true, but I've heard a shit ton of stuff about the man you guys call a 'saviour' or a 'leader' " he paced around the room silently looking around at broken things, " what shit? " I asked. " that he's a cold bloody murderer that torchers people into being on his side " he shook his head as he blew the smoke out of his mouth.

" he can be really sweet tho " I crossed my arms as I stared at my black leather boots, " you don't gotta lie " he laughed as I had a little bit of a smirk, " what if I'm not joking " I challenged him as I could tell this man was trying to hit on me, " then ima have to be better " he stared down at me with that same little smirk.

" tell me why your really here, other then your 'master' sending you here " He rested his arm on my shoulder waiting for a story to start, " Lydia and Mason promised they'd never leave me, and promised that if they were to ever leave they'd tell me and bring me with them. Guess I got pissed off at them for betraying me " I sniffled a bit, " right, but do you think killing people is the right answer? " he had a little talk to me.

" no I don't " I sighed, " then why don't you just join us? " he put his hand out as I smiled, I honestly wanted to join them. I really did I was honestly tired of everything going on in my life, and Mason and Lydia better have a good explanation to why they dipped and left me to suffer with Caleb.

I placed my hand in his, locking fingers with him as he smiled. " deal " I softly spoke before walking out of the door and quickly hiding behind the wall when I see one of my guards entering a hallway, " who's there! " he called out as I looked at the blonde boy next to me. " shh " I put my finger over my mouth.

I walked around the corner smiling at him, " did you find them? " I acted confident towards him as if I was still working to find the people, " no we haven't " he sounded disappointed. " get everyone back, tell Caleb I'm staying here to make sure they don't return " I said as he turned around and began radioing the guards to leave.

I turned around and grabbed Dylan's hand again as he led me out of the building, once I saw the cars were gone I grabbed my pistol out and shot a zombie in the head. " shouldn't have done that " he shook his head, " I just saved us? " I gasped. " sound attracts more " he raised an eyebrow before walking into a broken down car shop.

I stopped when I suddenly saw the group I have been looking for the whole time, " omg Autumn! " Mason got up and started walking over to me. I threw my fist at his face as he held onto the side of his jaw, " what the hell Autumn? " Lydia jumped up onto her feet, " I deserved that " Mason groaned in pain.

" why did he deserve that? " she pointed at him and then back at me as a blonde girl with a pony tail stood up and threw her arms around Dylan's body, " because you guys left me " I stared at them as my teeth gritted together. Honestly I was still upset with them for leaving, but it was for a good cause I guess.

" Caleb was near you, we couldn't risk it! " Mason defended her as I finally nodded, " fine, I honestly don't really care anymore " I crossed my arms noticing the girl with the dirty blonde hair stand up and shoot a little bit of a glare at me.

" Dylan you brought her here without asking any of us?! " she placed her hands on her hips as the boy kind of just shrugged as he was clearly nervous to even speak anymore, " yeah he did because I was trapped in a room with him, and he convinced me to go with him " I stared at the girl up and down as she groaned.
