TRIGGER WARNING: ABUSE

AN UNKNOWN WHIMPERING SOUND CAUSED KLAUS TO WAKE, his blue eyes fluttering open. He expected to see rays of sunlight shining through the blinds of the filthy motel window, but was only met with darkness. It took him only a second to realize that the whimpering sound, was coming from the other bed, where Violet slept.

With furrowed eyebrows, he sat up in the squeaky bed and turned to look at his soulmate, confusion becoming worry when he saw her tossing and turning in her sleep with a pained expression as whimpers and incoherent words fell from her lips.

Klaus strained his ears, using his advanced hearing to try and form a sentence from the words she sleepily muttered. "No. No, I'm sorry. It won't happening again..." He was finally able to make out.

"I'm sorry, dad, please don't hurt me." She quietly uttered. Thoughts flooded Klaus' head as he tried to think of any other reasons she could be having a nightmare of her father hurting her, other than the most obvious that he refused to believe.

He refused to believe that Violet's father had hurt her the way his father hurt him so many times when he was a human. Klaus clenched his jaw at the thought of Violet, his little flower, laying defenseless on the ground as her father kicked and punched.

The hybrid was strayed from his thoughts as a louder whimper emitted from her mouth as tears began to slowly drop down her face uncontrollably, but she was still asleep.

Klaus stood from the bed, walking over to hers and sitting on the edge with one leg bent on the bed and the other hanging off. His placed his hands on her arm and began to gently shake her. "Violet, sweetheart wake up." He urged. When she still did not wake, he shook her a bit more harshly. "Flower, please." Klaus begged desperately.

Finally, Violet gasped awake, quickly sitting up and looking around frantically as she panted with tears still streaming down her face. "Nik?" She whimpered when her eyes landed on him.

"Yes, little flower, I'm here." He nodded. Klaus was quick to pull her into his arms when her soft crying became sobbing as her shoulders shook violently.

The Original pulled her closer into his chest, shushing her and placing a soft kiss on her head. "Would you like to tell me about your dream?" He asked when she began to calm down. Violet could only shake her head as a pathetic noise of protest emitted from her throat.

The soulmates sat there until her breathy became steady again, Klaus then pulling away slightly as he took her face in his hands and wiped the few stay tears away with his thumbs.
"Are you okay, flower?"

Violet swallowed thickly and nodded her head slightly. She looked down when Klaus didn't move, staring at her with a thoughtful look. After a pregnant pause, he spoke up again. "Would you be alright with me looking into your thoughts and seeing what's got you so troubled?"

Klaus, and even Violet herself, were surprised when a soft, "Yes." fell from her mouth.

He gave her a reassuring smile and they both slowly closed their eyes as Violet allowed him to enter her mind.

When Klaus finally got through, there was Violet, looking a bit younger, maybe a year or two, crouched on the ground with her arms in front of her face as if trying to keep something from hitting her.

And a second later, Klaus' earlier suspicions were confirmed when a middle aged man, with similar features to Violet, came over and roughly grabbed her by the forearm, forcing her onto her feet.

Klaus grew enraged when the man began to spat insults at Violet, shaking her violently and slapping her across the face.

"How many times have I told you, that you are not allowed to stay out passed ten?" He yelled.

"I'm sorry, dad, I was out with Bonnie and-" But she wasn't able to finish her explanation when he back handed her other cheek, causing her to fall to the floor in tears as she held her face in her hands.

"I don't give a shit what you were doing! You disobeyed me and now you're going to pay the price!"

Klaus could only watch for a few more seconds before the image of her being beaten became to much and he removed his hands from her head.

Violet could only sniffle as she watched Klaus seethe. She found herself placing a hand over his that was now on the bed and intertwining their fingers subconsciously.

The relationship that had grown between them was very bittersweet for Violet. But no matter how much she told herself that he was a monster, that he's killed thousands of people including her best friend, she still found joy and comfort in their little moments like this one.

She knew it was only the soulmate instinct she had-soulmate default setting as she liked to call it-that was causing her to be so comfortable around Klaus. But in the back of her mind, she knew that these moments she was allowing herself to have with the hybrid was only feeding that instinct.

"How long has your father done those things to you?" When she didn't respond, he lifted her face by her chin with his fingers and looked into her eyes, but not compelling her. "Flower, please tell me."

Violet sighed and looked down, fiddling with a loose thread hanging from the sheets of the bed. "For the last 10 years." Anyone with normal human hearing wouldn't have been able to pick up her reply, but Klaus did and his hold on her hand grew tighter.

"He's been abusing you since your were 7?" The blonde girl nodded and hesitantly leaned her forehead on his shoulder.

The two sat in a comfortable silence for a few minutes, Violet for once ignoring her negative thoughts about Klaus and just enjoying the moment, and Klaus contemplating whether or not he should tell her about his past with his own father. And after realizing that it would maybe help his soulmate realizing how alike they really were, he spoke up.

"You know," He spoke softly to get her attention, as he rubbed circles onto the back of her hand with his thumb. She looked up at him with her big hazel eyes that made him just want to melt right there on the spot. "When my family was still human, my father used to beat me also." Violet's mouth gaped open slightly as she looked at him with shock.

"Used to called me weak, pathetic, useless. Just like yours does to you. But know this, Flower." He paused. She gave him a nod and he placed his hand on her cheek gently. "The things our fathers have said and done to us, will not define us. We are not weak, or pathetic, or useless. You and I, are just damaged, but not too damaged to be fixed."

"Welcome back to Chicago, Stefan." Klaus said as the three of them exited the SUV.

Stefan looked around confused as Klaus opened a nearby door. "What are we doing here?"

The hybrid opened the door to reveal the beautiful view of the city. "I know how much you loved it here. Bringing back memories of the good old ripper days."

"Blacked out most of them," Stefan mumbled. "Lot of blood, lot of partying. The detail are all a blur." He admitted.

Klaus smirked. "Well that is a crying shame. The details, are what make it a legend."

"Word was, the Ripper of Monterrey got lonely, so he escaped to the city for comfort." Klaus explained. "It was prohibition. Everything was off limits then, which made everything so much fun."

Chicago, 1922

A humantiyless Stefan Salvatore sat in the back of a 20's style car, along with a random girl he had seduced. To any witnesses, it would seem like they were up to what every young adult did in the back seat of a car, but in fact, Stefan's fangs were buried deep inside of the girls neck, devouring her blood like it was candy.

When the anonymous girls heartbeat faded into nothing, the vampire pulled away with a breathless gasp, the veins under his eyes and his fangs disappearing, leaving him with trails of blood running down the sides of his mouth.

Stefan took a small white flower from the girls hair and placed it in the pocket of his tuxedo. He wiped the red liquid from his face and stepped out of the car as if nothing had happened.

After giving a signal to the person guarding the door, Stefan was allowed in and with a smirk, he entered the crowded bar.

The room was filled with people. People of all colors, shapes, sizes, and Stefan loved it. Against the main wall, was a stage with a band playing jazz music and a dark skinned woman standing in the center with a microphone gripped in her hand and words flowing smoothly from her mouth.

The vampire smirked as he leaned over the railing and made eye contact with the woman. "Guess who my eyes have just spied, ladies?" She spoke as the band continued to play their instruments. "Looking for a good time, Mr. Salvatore?"

"Save me a dance, Gloria." He told her with a mischievous look in his eyes."

He made his way down the stairs, going to grab a drink from one of the waiters until at the last second, it was grabbed by a blonde girl who swiftly walked passed him.

Stefan cocked his head and turned around. "Oh, please. Help yourself." The girl pivoted around to look at him. She was clad in a cream colored flapper dress that was covered in rhinestones and hugged her figure perfectly. A white pearl necklace adorned her neck and her bright red lipstick make her baby blue eyes pop. "Oh, I always do." She replied smoothly.

He hummed, looking at her curiously. "Careful, Mr. Salvatore," She said as she approached him with a smirk.

The girl brought her face close to his and seductively licked the side of his mouth. "You're still wearing your date." She whispered in his ear. "She's lovely."

The blonde glanced at him and began to walk away but was pulled back by the curious vampire. "No, no,no. Who are you?"

The corners of her mouth turned up slightly before she brought her gloved hand up, pouting her lips and putting a finger on her mouth as if quieting him, and then walking away, leaving Stefan to wonder who the mysterious blonde vampire was.

"Chicago was magical." Klaus stated as he approached Stefan who was still staring at the view of the city. "Yeah, well, I'll take your word for it. Like I said, I don't remember most of it." Stefan told him as he turned and walked away.

"Going to business, then?" Said the hybrid as he closed the wooden door. "Why am I still with you? We had our fun, your hybrids failed. Don't you wanna move on?"

Violet rolled her eyes at their bickering. You think she'd get used to this after 3 months but no, it just got more annoying every time. "We're going to see my favorite witch." Klaus said, ignoring Stefan's questioning. "If anyone can help us with our hybrid problem, it's her."

Violet craned her neck and looked around curiously as the three entered a bar. The place was empty and dark besides the rays of sunshine that were seeping through the blinds.

"Looks familiar, doesn't it?" Klaus commented. "I can't believe this place is still here." Stefan replied quietly.

"You got to be kidding me." A new voice spoke up. Everyone's head snapped over and their eyes landed on a dark skinned woman. She looked good for her age with grey, almost white hair cut extremely short and clothes that's showed off her style.

The human had no idea who this woman was but Stefan and Klaus sure seemed to recognize her. "So a hybrid walks into a bar, says to the bartender-" The Original begins only to be interrupted.

"Stop. You may be invincible but that doesn't make you funny." Klaus grinned and even Violet cracked a smile. The woman didn't seem so bad. She guessed that this was the witch Klaus had talked about before.

The woman's eyes flickered to the younger vampire. "I remember you."

"Yeah. You're Gloria." She hummed, as if telling him yes. "Shouldn't you be...?"

"Old and dead?" Gloria finished with a smile. "Now, if I die, who's gonna run this place, huh?"

"Gloria's a very powerful witch." Said Klaus. "I can slow the aging down some. Herbs and spells, but don't worry, it'll catch up to me one day."

Finally, Gloria's eyes landed on Violet and she looked at the small girl with curiosity. "Now, whose this that you've dragged along with you? She's not a vampire, so why is she here?"

Violet went to respond but her hybrid soulmate beat her to it. "This is Violet. She's my soulmate." The witches eyebrows rose and her eyes flickered back and forth between the two of them. "You have a soulmate?" He nodded with a small smirk. "I don't know how you've survived this long in his presence, but good on you." Gloria said to Violet, causing the human to giggle softly.

"Stefan," Klaus said to grab their attention. "Why don't you take Violet and go fix us up a little something from behind the bar." Stefan gave them a bitter smile while Violet rolled her eyes and mock saluted him. "Yes sir."

The two did as told and made their way to the bar where Violet took a seat in one of the stools and Stefan began to grab cups and different bottles of liquor.

Although Violet wasn't able to hear the conversation at all from her spot, Stefan was able to pick up everything Klaus and Gloria were saying.

"You looked ravishing, by the way." The hybrid commented with a cheeky smile. "Don't." The witch stopped him with an annoyed sigh. "I know why you're here. A hybrid out to make more hybrids? That kind of news travels." Gloria told him as they sat down.

"So what am I doing wrong? I broke the curse." As Violet tapped her fingers on the counter in boredom, a picture taped to the wall above the bar caught her eye. "Well obviously you did something wrong." Klaus huffed.

"Look, every spell has a loophole, but a curse that old...we'd have to contact the witch who created it."

Klaus looked annoyed. "Well that would be the Original Witch. She's very dead." Gloria nodded. "I know. And for me to contact her, I'll need help. Bring me Rebekah."

Violet looked at the picture in shock and cleared her throat to get Stefan's attention. "Stef, look." She pointed to the photo and Stefan too looked at in shock and quickly snatched it from the wall.

"Rebekah." The hybrid sighed. "Rebekah is a bit...preoccupied."

"She has what I need." Gloria insisted. "Bring her to me."

The sandy-haired vampire looked over to he witch and the hybrid. "What is this?"

Klaus smirked. "Well, I told you Stefan. Chicago's a magical place." Stefan looked down at the photo with wide eyes. "But this is me...with you."

"This doesn't make any sense. Why don't I remember you?" Stefan asked as him and Violet hurriedly followed Klaus into the warehouse.

"You said it yourself," The Original spoke with a glare. "That time had a lot of dark holes."

Stefan shook his head in annoyance. "No, if you knew me, why haven't you said anything?" Klaus continued to walk and look around as if he was looking for something in particular. "I'm a little busy right now. Memory lane will have to wait."

The younger vampire roughly grabbed his arm and spun him around, looking at him with a glare. "What the hell is going on? Answer me." Klaus gave Stefan a hard stare and removed his hand from his arm.

"Let's just say we didn't get off to a brilliant start. To be honest, I hated you."

Gloria's Bar, 1922

Stefan's fangs elongated from his mouth and he bit into the random girls neck, the blonde girl from before doing the same.

His hand trailed up her shoulder and to her cheek and the both pulled away with smiles and brought her into a kiss. Stefan trailed kisses down the side of her neck, stopping when he spotted her necklace. "It's beautiful." He commented as he examined the old piece of jewelry.

"A witch gave it to me. Supposedly it's magical." She breathed as their foreheads touched. "And is it?" The male vampire asked. "It brought me love, didn't it?"

As the two vampires kissed passionately, a hand grasped her arm and pulled her back. "It's late. Rebekah, we're leaving."

"Get off me!" Rebekah yelled as she snatched her arm away. Stefan stood up and approached the man. "Who is this guy?"

"Stefan don't he'll kill you!" The blonde vampire rushed to his side. "He's a lot stronger than he looks." She said with a glare.

Klaus looked Stefan up and down. "So this is the famous Stefan Salvatore I've been hearing so much about." He looked over to Rebekah. "Your right, he does have funny hair."

Stefan chuckled dryly. "I'm bored. I want to go." Klaus said, giving her a look."

"Then go without me. I'm not your girlfriend." Rebekah retaliated with narrowed eyes.

"No, you're my sister, which means...you have to do as I say." Klaus growled as he pulled her to his side and gave Stefan a smirk.

"Your sister." Stefan mumbled. "So I knew another Original Vampire."

Violet looked at he ground with raised eyebrows as she tried to process the information that was just given. "You didn't just know her, you dated her." Stefan shot her a look and she put her hands up in surrender.

"If you can handle it, don't ask." Klaus said as he walked away, stopping at one of the coffins. Stefan and Violet approached him just as the hybrid lifted the lid to the coffin, revealing who Violet guessed was Rebekah.

Klaus smiled softly as he reached down to caress his sisters cheek with his thumb. She was beautiful, with features similar to Klaus and clad in a 20's style outfit. It took Violet a second to realize exactly how long Rebekah must have been daggered and she smiled sympathetically at the desiccated girl.

"I don't recognize her." Stefan told Klaus. "Well, don't tell her that. Rebekah's temper is worse than mine." He spoke as he swiftly pulled the silver dagger from her chest.

"Time to wake up, little sister."

"Any day now, Rebekah. She's being dramatic." Klaus uttered quietly.

"Look, why don't you just tell me what the hell is going on? I mean, you obviously want me here for a reason, right?" Stefan questioned with a bitter smile.

Klaus raised his eyebrows. "Well, you have many useful talents." The younger vampire nodded. "Do I?"

"In fact," The Original said turning to him. "I learned some of my favorite tricks from you." Stefan hummed.

"So Stefan, enlighten me," Klaus said as Stefan shot back his drink. "What makes you worthy of an Original like my sister? She's pure vampire while you're nothing more than a diluted bloodline." He insulted causing Stefan to laugh humorlessly.

"Don't listen to him, Stefan. Nik's an elitist." Rebekah said with a sarcastic smile towards her brother. "Hmm. And, where's the rest of your family?"

Klaus raised his eyebrows as if he was in thought. "Well, let's see. Um, I killed most of them." Stefan 'oohed' in mock interest while Rebekah pouted her lips and said, "But not all."

Stefan looked over at his lover. "And you're okay with that?" He asked curiously. "Well, we all had the chance to choose a side. I chose the right one eventually." Rebekah replied with a smile and gripped her brothers hand, giving it a squeeze.

Then, a man approached their table, looking angry and distraught. "Where the hell is my wife?"

Stefan looked up at the man with wide eyes. "I don't know. I give up."

"You think you're so tough? Hiding in your bar, drinking your liquor?" Rebekah and Stefan shared amused looks. "A telephone call to Chicago P.D. might set you straight!"

Klaus 'oohed' as the three vampires laughed. Stefan looked over passed the man. "Lila? Lila, please. Come here for a second." The girl he waved over walked over to them, the man sighing in relief. "Oh, thank god. Come on, we're leaving."

The man begins to walk away with his wife when Stefan began to protest and compel the man. "Oh, no, no, no, no. No. You're sitting." He subconsciously took a seat next to Klaus while Lila sat next to Stefan with a smile from being previously compelled.

Without looking away from the man, Stefan pulled the silk white glove from Lila's hand and pulling out a pocket from his coat, ignoring Klaus's curious gaze. "Stefan, don't be mean." Rebekah scolded playfully.

The man stared at the youngest vampire in shock. "What the hell are you doing?"

Stefan kept eye contact with the man as he slid the knife across the the woman's wrist, letting the blood flow from her body to the glass. The vampire clicked the knife shut with a a satisfied sigh and a smirk.

He turned to Lila with a sweet smile. "Thank you so much, Lila. Why don't you go and bandage that up."

The two Originals watched with smirks as the woman left and Stefan slid the glass full of blood towards her husband. "I'd like you to join me for a drink."

The man looked at them with horror and fear clear in his eyes. "What kind of sick freaks are you?"

"I said, drink." Stefan demanded with a smile, gesturing with his head towards the cup. The man shakily took the glass in his hands, taking a sip and gagging at the taste of the metallic liquid.

"I didn't catch your name." Stefan wondered with a mischievous look. "Go to hell." The man choked out causing Klaus to laugh. "Do you want another sip?" Stefan questioned.

"Liam. Liam Grant." He finally admitted. "Liam Grant! Have another sip, Liam." Klaus clinked his glass with Liam's as he uncontrollably drank another sip of the blood. "Finish it."

Liam quickly shot down his wife's blood, looking at the three vampires with fear for his life.

Violet stared at her friends back as him and her soulmate walked ahead of her. She couldn't believe the things he did when he had his humanity off. Sweet, charismatic, gentle Stefan was once a ruthless, sadistic killer who showed no mercy to his victims. The thought made Violet shiver.

"I was your number one fan." Said Klaus as he stopped at the guard who was standing watch by the entrance. "And why should I believe any of this?" Stefan asked.

"When she wakes up, tell her to meet us and Gloria's bar. Then volunteer your carotid artery and let her feed until you die." Klaus compelled, the man nodding obediently.

"Where are you going?" Asked Stefan as Klaus began to walk away. "You think I'm lying, Stefan. You and I knew each other. You trusted me with one of your secrets and now I'm gonna prove it to you."

"How?"

"We're going to your old apartment."

"What a charming little homestead." Klaus teased as they approached the apartment door. He stopped when he spotted the broken doorknob kicked the door open.

He entered, looking around with a glare. "Do you feel that?" Stefan and Violet looked at each other with puzzled expressions.

"Is anybody here?" The hybrid asked. "It's been vacant for decades. People must break in all the time. Why did you bring me here?"

"Your friend, Liam Grant, the one who drank his wife's blood-I never could figure out why you wanted his name. And then you told me your little secret. It was all apart of your special little ritual."

Stefan looked away in thought for a moment. "To write it down." He whispered in realization. "And relive the kill, over and over again." Klaus finished.

The Original walked over to the old book case and pulled it open, revealing shelf's of liquor and what seemed to be another part that was shielded by the wall. "Do you believe me now?"

Stefan walked over but Violet stayed in her spot, looking around at what she assumed used to be a more fixed up apartment but was now tattered and old, with dust on every surface. She also didn't necessarily want to look at what was probably a long list of Stefan's victims.

It was silent for a minute before Stefan spoke up. "Look what I found." He grabbed a bottle from the shelf and turned to face Klaus. "1918. Single malt."

"My favorite." Klaus smirked. "Let's go find someone to pair it with."

"Where's Rebekah?" Gloria asked as she placed a beer in front of each of them, Violet staring at hers for a second, contemplating whether or not it was a good decision to take a drink. "She'll be here. I can't just conjure her on demand."

Noticing Violet's reluctance, Klaus goes to take the bottle but before he could, the blonde girl grabbed the bottle and easily took a swig of the alcohol without flinching. After a second she looked over at Stefan and Klaus who were both looking at her with surprised and amused expressions. "What? My dad always had our fridge stocked up on beer and I was a curious nine year old."

Klaus chuckled and smiled at Violet fondly before looking over at Stefan. "What's with you? I though Chicago was your playground."

"So this is why you asked me to be your wingman. Because you liked the way that I tortured innocent people?" Stefan asked though it was more of an observation.

"Well, that's certainly half of it."

"What's the other half?" The leafy eyed vampire inquired. "The other half, Stefan," Klaus began as he poured the scotch from the apartment into 2 shot glasses. He would've poured Violet one seeing as she could definitely handle her liquor, but decided that he didn't particularly want to be carrying around a drunk Violet. "Is that you used to want to be my wingman.

"They're jealous." Stefan stated as Klaus took a shot of alcohol. "You're family wants you dead because they can never be what you are."

"What? And abomination?" Klaus questions bitterly as he glared at his hands.

"No." Stefan replied. "A king."

Klaus looked over at his then friend, the corner of his mouth twitching up and they both chuckled. "Look at us. Two sad orphans." Stefan hummed in agreement and took a sip of his drink, his eyes landing on Rebekah who was already looking at him with a smile.

The Original followed his gaze towards his sister and turned back to the younger vampire. "My sister fancies you, you know. But, I should warn you, Rebekah doesn't do anything half-speed and that includes falling in love, so just be careful." Klaus slurs drunkenly. "She's totally mad."

The two break into laughter, Klaus motioning for more drinks. "I appreciate the advice."

"And when the point comes where she inevitably leaves you-she can't help it, it's just who she is-Don't let your heart do anything stupid." He tells him seriously.

Stefan gave him a nod and raised his shot glass. "You know what, you're a good friend, Nik. I'm glad I met you."

"So I'm confused," Stefan speaks and Violet could tell he was a bit drunk. "If we were such great friends, then why do I only know you as the hybrid dick that sacrificed my girlfriend on an alter of fire?"

"All good things must come to an end."

The click of a 1920's style camera sounds as a man takes a picture of the small crowd dancing on the dance floor to soft jazz music.

The occupants of the dance floor included Stefan and Rebekah, who were looking at each other with smiles on their faces as they danced.

Klaus watched on with a small smile of his own, before he frowned as his ears picked up something off. All of a sudden, gunshots sounded as bullets flew through the bar, everyone panicking as they ducked to dodge he bullets, though some weren't as lucky.

The couple hurried to hide behind the bar, Stefan picking up one of the bullets that fell and examining it. "There using wooden bullets. That means they know."

Rebekah looked at the piece of wood with a petrified expression. "That means he's here." She breathed shakily. "Who's here?"

She looked at him before quickly standing when Klaus called for her. Stefan followed her actions. "What the hell is going on?" Rebekah called his name but was pushed away by her brother.

Seeing Rebekah's necklace on the ground, Stefan goes to grab it but was stopped by Klaus who was unaware of the jewelry on the ground. "Stefan. I'm sorry, but the fun has to end here."

"What are you talking about?" Stefan questions frantically.

"You must forget Rebekah and me. Until I say otherwise, you never knew us, Stefan." Klaus compelled. "Thank you. I had forgotten what it was like to have a brother."

And in a flash, the Original was gone.

"You compelled me to forget." Stefan realized. "It was time for me and Rebekah to move on. It's better to have a clean slate." Klaus told him, knocking back his drink.

"But why? You shouldn't have to cover your tracks, unless you're running from someone."

Klaus glared at the younger vampire. "Storytime's over."

Stefan's eyes flickered to something across the bar and he began to stand up. "I need another drink. A real one."

A few minutes after Stefan walked out, another person sat down in the seat next to Klaus. It only took Violet a second after she looked over to realize that it was none other than Damon.

"I see they've opened the doors to the riff raff now." Klaus insulted without looking over.

"Oh, honey, I've been called worse." Damon replied with a weary smirk. Klaus chuckled dryly as he twirled the tiny umbrella from his drink between his fingers. "You don't give up, do you?"

Damon looked over at the Hybrid. "Give me my brother back, you'll never have to see me again."

"Well, I am torn. You see, I promised Stefan I wouldn't let you die, but how many freebies did I really sign up for? And clearly you want to die, otherwise you wouldn't be here, so..." Klaus trailed off.

"What can I say? I'm a thrill-seeker." Klaus smiled before quickly grasping Damon's neck and picking him up, a loud snapping being heard. Violet jumps from her seat quickly in shock.

"Oh, dear, what was that?" The Original shows him the small umbrella. "I'm boozey, so you'll forgive me if I miss your heart the first few tries."

Klaus stabs Damon in the stomach with the toothpick, the raven haired vampire grunting him pain. "Stop!" She tried to run over to them but Klaus sped himself and Damon across the room.

"No, that's not it. Hmm." He takes the toothpick out before aiming it in a different part of Damon's chest and stabbing him.

"Ohh. Almost." Klaus pulls the piece of wood back a bit while still keeping about a centimeter inside of Damon and angling it a bit before impaling him again.

"You want a partner in crime? Forget Stefan. I'm so much more fun." Damon suggests as he struggles to breath.

"Damon, stop talking!" Violet breathes after another failed attempt at reaching the two men.

Klaus throws Damon backwards, where he crashes on top of a table, breaking it, and landing on his back. The hybrid walks over, ripping the leg off of a chair off as a makeshift stake, and crouches over Damon.

"You won't be any fun after you're dead." He growls. With one hand he holds Damon down and with the other he raises the stake. "No!" Violet cries. At that moment Gloria enters and sets the stake alight with her powers.

Klaus groans."Really?"

"Not in my bar. You take it outside." She says like a mother scolding her sons. Violet sighs in relief and sends a thankful look towards the witch. Damon tries to sit up but Klaus pushes him back down by the chest.

"You don't have to negotiate your brother's freedom. When I'm done with him, he won't want to go back."

Klaus and Violet enter the room in the warehouse full of his family's coffins. Violet gags at the sight of the dead guard on the ground. She looks over at the empty coffin where Rebekah had payed just an hour earlier and put the pieces together.

"Rebekah...It's your big brother. Come out, come out, wherever you are." Klaus calls teasingly.

Suddenly, a flash of white and blonde flies past Violet and stops in front of Klaus, stabbing him in the chest with the silver dagger.

"Go to hell, Nik!"
