SHE RECALLED HOW THE SUN SHONE brightly among the stunning realm of Asgard, illuminating it's golden riches; their people dressed in lavish clothing made of the finest silk that felt soft to the touch. Calista Odinsdottir missed her beautful home. She never planned on leaving there in the first place, leave her family, but a certain trickster just had to wreak havoc on a planet after falling to the dark abyss of space. Thor Odinson and Calista had to leave Asgard to stop their brother from ruling over Midgard.

There, Calista met an interesting team of Midgardians, one of them she thought was rather rude.

"Does mother know you weareth her drapes?"

Calista didn't know what that meant but she guessed the man of iron was poking fun at her older brother, who was clearly more powerful than the Midgardian in every way. But of course, Calista would never say that out loud, it would be very presumptuous of her.

She wished Thor hadn't ordered her to watch over their brother, she honestly couldn't stand being beside him after what he did.

"So... Calista," Loki started, a chesire-cat grin gracing his thin lips. He hadn't seen Calista in years, and the siblings were rather close before everything. He would be lying if he said he never cared for her.

In a matter of seconds, Calista had created a ball of water out of the moisture of the air and threw it at Loki in anger. "I do not wish to speak to you." She sneered, the sudden burst of anger diminishing almost instantly when she had realized what she done.

"I apologize, I don't know what came over me."

Loki uses his fingers to wipe his eyes, "you haven't changed at all, Calista. Did you mourn?"

"Loki, you are my brother, how could I not?" Calista replied sharply.

It hurt, it hurt seeing Loki Laufeyson again after mourning him for months. Loki was her brother and his blood didn't matter to her. The day the god found out he was a Jötunn changed everything between them.

Loki clamped his mouth shut, he wanted to scream at her that she wasn't his sister, but Calista didn't deserve that at all.

Suddenly, a strong blast of energy almost sent Calista and Loki soaring back, before the goddess quickly pulled her arms apart, her palms facing outward in front of her, and pushed against the force with a wall of air. It only lasted a few seconds before it calmed. Around them, several trees crashed against the ground.

Loki heaved a sigh of relief, watching as Calista lowered her arms. The energy felt so strong, if she was a second too late her and Loki would've flown off the rock.

"Are we done here?" A midgardian in a rather patriotic suit lowered his shield.

In a way Calista understood why he did what he did, though she couldn't say she would've done the same. Loki had been lied to all his life after all.

A year after the battle of New York, Loki had died again, but this time Calista was sure he would be gone forever. Not only that, but her loving mother had also been killed by a dark elf just a few days earlier. Calista grieved the both of them.

"Are you nervous for tomorrow?" Questioned Frigga Freyrdottir, as she softly brushed Calista's locks that resembled the color of milk chocolate.

Calista stared at her reflection through the vanity mirror, "why would I be, mother? If anything Thor should be nervous."

Someone scoffs, "He is not ready to be king. He is incompetent."

"Now Loki, don't speak ill of your brother." Frigga warns her son, though a soft smile reaches her lips.

Loki sets the book he was reading down on his chest, "you know I am right, mother. Calista, would you rather me be king, or Thor? Now choose wisely, sister." Loki grins at her from the bed. Calista knew what that meant, she either had to pick him or suffer one of his many mischevious pranks.

"You of course." Calista answered, as Frigga chuckles and sets the brush down on the vanity, "my children, you need to sleep."

Frigga smiles down at Calista before placing a kiss on her forehead, doing the same to Loki. Just before their mother left the room, she gave them a stern look, "Loki go back to your room. Goodnight, my darlings." She blew a kiss before leaving Calista's room.

"Sometimes I wonder, sister, if I could ever break out of Thor's shadow."

"I assure you brother, one day the sun will shine on you, and you only."

Thor decided to stay with Jane in Midgard for a while and Calista decided to stay with them, before she would head back to Asgard to watch over their father, Odin. However, no matter how many times she called for Heimdall he never answered once.

So she was stuck in Midgard.

It wasn't all that bad, Calista at least had Thor with her. They coped with the loss of their mother and brother together. She had also gotten rather close with Darcy Lewis.

Calista had just finished growing a bed of tulips in Jane's backward when Thor practically flew out the back door.

"They found his scepter."

Lmao short ahh chapter but I am quite proud of it! Obviously I am going to develop her relationships with the Avengers more and grow her more as a person, cause right now she is too soft. But I'm so excited for her and Pietro to meet they're going to be soo cute!! And also tell me what you think of Loki and Calista's relationship!
