Toku's emotions gradually shifted from anger to a mix of embarrassment and regret as he walked through the sand. The weight of his actions weighed heavily on him, knowing that he had let his anger get the better of him. However, deep down, he couldn't let Aonung's behavior towards Kiri go unnoticed or unpunished.
Feeling conflicted, Toku decided that the long walk to the secret spot wasn't necessary at the moment. Instead, he opted to find solace by the shore, where the rhythmic crashing of the waves provided a soothing soundtrack to his troubled thoughts. He sat down and let the water wash over his feet, the coolness bringing a momentary relief.
Running his hand through his hair, Toku tried to sort through his feelings when a voice pulled him out of his head.
"Toku... are you okay?" His head turned to see his sister, Tsireya. He simply nodded.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm... good," he said, running a hand across his face.
Tsireya took a seat next to him, placing her head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry..."
"For what?" Toku asked, his voice filled with concern.
"For letting Aonung act like that," she spoke softly.
"Don't apologize. It was all Aonung. It wasn't your fault."
Tsireya lifted her head, her expression filled with warmth. "You know... I think you and Kiri have something truly special," she said sweetly, causing Toku to chuckle.
"Speaking of Kiri... What are you going to tell Ayani?" Tsireya asked, her tone gentle yet probing.
"I... I really don't know," Toku replied, his voice laced with uncertainty, as he absentmindedly brushed his hand across the sand.
"Well, you should tell her soon, or consider ending things with Kiri before anyone gets hurt," Tsireya advised, her words carrying a sense of wisdom.
Toku sighed heavily, feeling the weight of the situation. He placed his head in his hands, contemplating the choices before him. "I know, I know... you're right," he murmured, his voice filled with resignation.
Tsireya offered him a sympathetic look, her support evident in her gaze. Though the path ahead seemed uncertain and challenging, Toku knew he had to confront his feelings and make difficult decisions for the sake of everyone involved.
Before another sound of footsteps began to approach the pair, Tsireya gave him one final pat on the shoulder and walked off.
"Hey..." Kiri said with a sigh, taking a seat next to him.
"Kiri, I'm so sorryโ" He immediately started apologizing.
"Toku!" she said with a laugh. "It's alright, I promise," she reassured him, making him sigh in relief.
"Besides... I thought it was kind of hot," she said with a sly smile.
Toku's ears instantly perked up at that statement. "Well... Iโ" he began to respond.
"Just come here!" she interrupted, pulling him in for a soft kiss. The kiss quickly turned rough as Toku swiftly threw her to the ground, making her gasp in surprise.
Tokus hand trailed up her thigh as the two never broke the kiss Kiri letting out soft moans at the contact putting a smile on his face
Before the pair could do anything drastic, Kiri quickly pulled away. "We can't," she said with a sad look.
"Yeah, yeah, I get it... we're in a weird place right now, and I've got some stuff to figure out," Toku replied, understandingly.
Kiri smiled at his understanding. "Toku..." She spoke softly, pulling his face towards her own.
"I see you," she said with a smile.
Toku smiled brightly, pulling the girl in for another kiss, seemingly longer than the others.
"Toku! Kiri! Come quick!" Tsireya yelled from across the beach, seemingly out of breath. The pair shared a look before getting up and following the worried-sounding girl.
