Shutting out the world, slowly.

Pushing out every moment, experience, serially.

With my back on the ground,  I lie, motionless.

Trying hard to absorb,  rendering my heart a blissful rest.

To save one,  was with no free bill.

But,  my gentle soul was claimed for the kill.

Even in our next life,  same sacrifice will I pay.

Giving up all sanity,  for you, the world will I slay.

Sequentially, they gathered for my sake.

Blowing their trumpet, they knew not what was at stake.

But you at my side, sending forth my soul with a tear-full river.

Heaven shall I reach with it, as my left hand quiver.

Lay me to rest, my love, my darling.

But let my thought lay in your heart forever, not doubting.

Smile, for I am at peace.

With no regret will I depart in peace.
