"Turns out, there just happened to be one Triceraton that didn't agree with the Triceratons and their plans to use the black hole generator."
"TURTLE POWER!"
"YOU got this, Leo!"
The other mutant turtles, Briana, and Henry cheered on Leonardo as he went to start the new fighting program Fugitoid had put into the holodeck for them. The scene that the hologram simulation was projecting was Shredder's throne room with a hologram of Shredder sitting on the throne and one of TigerClaw waiting for a challenger.
"Let's see if these upgrades are as good as Fugitoid promised." Leonardo approached to stand across from TigerClaw and health bars popped up over their heads.
"Fight!" The holographic Shredder called, starting the match.
Leonardo ran at TigerClaw, dodging and blocking before delivering a punch and kick combo to knock him back, followed by an uppercut. "Shoryuken!" TigerClaw fell to the ground and disappeared.
"Substitution: Henry," Shredder called.
"Totally wrong game for 'shoryukens,' bro." Michelangelo said to the blue masked mutant turtle while Henry got into position across from Razar.
"Gotta admit, this program that Fugitoid made is pretty cool." Eclipse said.
Raphael smirked. "Right? I'm loving it so far."
"You got this, Henry!" Briana called out.
"Fight!" The holographic Shredder shouted.
Henry dodged Razar's attacks when the mutant dog charged and delivered a quick flurry of attacks to lower his health bar, making the mutant dog dizzy before he shook it off.
"Finish him!"
As Razar charged at him again, Henry couldn't help but smirk as his eyes flashed yellow while his own claws and sharp teeth appeared. The mutant dog went to slice Henry with his claws, but Henry blocked it and leapt up, slamming his knee into Razar's face, knocking him down. However, Razar got back up but this time, Henry gave an animalistic snarl and right when Razar charged, Henry used his claws to scratch his chest, watching as droplets of blood fell to the ground. Then, Henry roundhouse kicked the mutant dog and leapt at him, using his claws to scratch across the mutant dog's throat as more blood spilled out from the wound while Razar collapsed to the ground, his body going limp.
"Wolf brutality. Henry wins!"
"Aw, yeah!" Michelangelo cheered as he and the others clapped. "Give it up for Henry!"
Henry's eyes stopped glowing yellow and returned to normal while his claws and sharp teeth retracted, returning to normal as well.
"Hey, you're getting pretty good with your wolf side." Leonardo commented as Henry walked back to join them.
"Eh, I'm getting there," Henry admitted with a shrug. "It's just the basics, I still don't know what would happen on a full moon."
"Don't worry, when that day comes, we'll figure something out." Eclipse reassured, earning a soft smile from her boyfriend.
"Heh, that was a mediocre battle at best." Raphael commented teasingly, a jokingly smirk on his face.
Donatello pulled out his staff, moving to fight the holograms of Bebop and Rocksteady with Raphael. "Watch the new A-Team in action."
The holodeck suddenly switched off, much to all of their disappointment.
"Aww."
"Apologizes." Fugitoid's voice came over the intercoms. "You are needed on the bridge immediately."
They quickly made their way to the bridge where Fugitoid waited with Casey, April, Kaz, Zane, Mara, Natalie, Derek, and Scott.
"What's up, Professor?" April asked, putting her hand on the railing.
"We are closing in on the Triceraton mothership." The robot responded.
They gathered around the main console as Fugitoid pulled up a hologram of the Triceraton mothership.
"Our best entry point is the auxiliary airlock," Leonardo responded as the area lit up in red. "We'll take the stealth shuttle to sneak aboard."
"I am certain with 99.98% certainty that the first piece of the black hole generator is being stored in their main armory," Fugitoid said as a path from the airlock to the area lit up. "April, Casey, Mara, Zane, Kaz, and Natalie will remain in the ship with me and monitor your progress."
"Oh, come on!" Mara complained.
"Are you kidding me?" Casey snapped. "I'm not getting left behind like a chump!"
"He has a point, Casey," Kaz said. "We're just not as stealthy as the others. But I'm getting close."
The five mutant turtles, Briana, Henry, Derek, and Scott gathered around together. "Alright, team. Operation: Infiltrate Mothership is a go!" They all put their hands together in the center.
๐๐๐
AFTER THEY HAD placed on their spacesuits, the group had boarded the stealth shuttle, flying toward the mothership as Donatello activated the cloak.
"You're sure that we're invisible in this thing, Donnie?" Eclipse questioned.
"Absolutely!" Donatello said. "Almost completely positive, sort of-ish. Uh, not, no, uh-uh."
Raphael rolled his eyes. "Real convincing, Donnie."
"I'm calling it," Derek said with an annoyed sigh. "We're goners."
They flew the craft closer to the mothership, growing dead silent while holding their breaths when a small fleet of Triceraton ships flew past. Raphael had to cover Michelangelo's mouth to keep him from making any sort of noise and released him once the ships passed as everyone gave out sighs of relief when their ship hadn't been spotted.
"We're at the airlock, Professor." Leonardo informed over his comms.
"It appears unguarded, but remain cautious." Fugitoid advised.
Michelangelo rolled his eyes. "Relax, Fugitoid. We're ninjas, bro."
"Well, excluding those two." Raphael said, gesturing over to Derek and Scott.
"Uh, for your information, wolves do have stealthy behavior," Scott defended. "Especially when hunting."
"We're not on a hunt." The red masked mutant turtle retorted.
"Hey, if I could, I'd turn into my wolf and hunt one of those Triceratons," Derek added. "I have been wondering what raw dinosaur meat would taste like."
"Oh, god, stop talking about raw meat." Henry said, still feeling disgusted by the thought of eating something raw.
They docked and exited the stealth shuttle. Eclipse pulled out her laser and used it to cut a hole into the ship, giving them an entrance.
"We're in, Professor," Henry said into the comms. "Where to?"
"Head down that corridor and you'll find the passage that leads directly to the armory."
The group then proceeded to make their way down the hallway with Leonardo and Henry in the lead.
"Aww, yeah, this will be easier than stealing pepperoni from aโ ah!" Michelangelo ran into a Triceraton and Mozar turned to stared down at them.
"What?" Mozar snapped. "These creatures? Again?"
"Oh, no!" Fugitoid said over the comms.
"Aw, space apples." Raphael muttered.
"Capture them!" Mozar ordered, another Triceraton running into the room as the two guards pulled out their guns while the teens quickly moved back.
"Might I suggest a tactical retreat?" Fugitoid suggested.
"What!? I'm not running!" Raphael retorted, using his sais to deflect the lasers.
"Do what Fugitoid says, back to the airlock," Leonardo ordered.
They turned and bolted back down the corridor, only for Briana to skid to a stop when more Triceratons blocked their path.
"Yeah, I don't think that's happening, guys." Briana said.
"Can I please turn then?" Derek asked with a smirk. "Come on, I'm dying to get a small bite out of them."
"Enough about that already." Scott said with an eye roll.
Raphael smirked. "Bring it on, horn-heads!" He jumped up, kicking a Triceraton in the head a couple times before it slammed his fist into him, sending him flying into the floor.
Eclipse sliced her kamas at one of the guards, but the guard smacked its tail into her, sending her crashing into Briana and knocking them both down. None of the others were doing any better, getting thrown into walls or pinned down.
"You want the airlock?" Mozar growled, pinning Leonardo to the wall. "You shall have it."
The Triceratons removed their helmets and tossed them into the airlock, though Michelangelo tried desperately to keep his on.
"Ah, not my super-rad helmet! I need that to breathe!"
Mozar managed to pull it off and threw Michelangelo into the airlock with the others. The door slammed shut and locked them inside. "Open the airlock, slowly," the Triceraton ordered. "I want to watch them suffer."
An alarm went off and the airlock opened just enough to start sucking the air out, but not enough to pull them out.
"What do we do, captains?" Donatello asked, looking panicked.
"Stay calm, guys," Henry said, gaining their attention. "Concentrate. Remember your training. Derek, Scott, follow our moves." He and Leonardo knelt down on the ledge that the two stood on, closing their eyes and putting their hands together.
๐๐๐
"WHAT ARE THEY doing?" Zane questioned as he and the others were watching through the security cameras back on the ship.
"It's a Sendou jutsu, a meditative breathing technique Splinter taught them," April informed. "They're slowing their body functions to go without oxygen."
"We should formulate a rescue plan quickly." Fugitoid suggested.
Casey smirked. "So, we're saving them, now? I'm so in."
๐๐๐
THE THREE SHAPESHIFTERS felt their ears pricked at the sound of the voices that belonged to the Triceratons.
"Observe how our enemies of the Empire suffer."
"Uh, Admiral..."
"Grr, enough of this! Open the airlock the rest of the way and suck them into space!"
Then, the airlock door opened completely and the crates inside were sucked out into space. Leonardo grabbed onto the wall and they formed a chain to keep from being thrown out. He managed to hold on for a while till he lost his grip and they all screamed as they were pulled toward the door. Only, it suddenly closed, sending them slamming into it before falling into a pile on the floor, gasping for breath.
"Ah, yes!" Michelangelo cheered. "Sweet, sweet air!"
The door to the airlock opened and Mozar glared down at them. "Take these eight to the Tri-Arena," he ordered the guards that entered. "All the Empire will watch you fight and be destroyed."
The eight of them were cuffed and dragged through the mothership to an elevator. They looked out the window to see the arena where a battle was taking placeโ Triceraton against a smaller alien that was being tossed around like it was nothing. The Triceraton killed the smaller alien and the crowd cheered.
Scott blinked. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I rather go back to the airlock."
They were stripped of their spacesuits and weapons before getting thrown into a cell. The door slammed shut behind them.
Raphael growled and started slamming his fists against it. "Let us out of here!"
"Save it, Raph," Donatello said. "Those walls are solid rock."
"I could probably break it but, you guys don't have your weapons so, you'd be defenseless." Derek said.
"There's gotta be another way out." Leonardo insisted, checking the bottom of the walls.
As they were all looking, Michelangelo spotted some weird slug-things crawling through a slot near the top of the wall.
"Ooh! Give me a boost, Hen!"
Henry blinked. "What?" He didn't get much time to figure out his statement as Michelangelo had already jumped on his shoulders, Henry quickly grabbing hold of him to keep him steady. "Mikey!"
"A little higher," Michelangelo said as Henry sighed before pushing himself to his feet. "A littleโ a little to the left." Once in reach, he grabbed onto one of the bars in the slot, only for it to electrocute them both, making them scream before falling to the floor.
"Ugh..." Henry groaned in pain. "Okay, that hurt more than usual."
"You're lucky it wasn't a high voltage. It would've killed you," Scott said. "Electricity and shapeshifters don't mix."
Henry rolled his eyes and flipped him off. "Thanks for the heads-up." He said sarcastically.
Briana pulled Michelangelo back to his feet while Eclipse knelt beside Henry, helping him sit up. Laughter suddenly came from the cell next door.
"Don't waste your strength, little ones. There is no escape from the Tri-Arena."
"Who are you?" Leonardo asked, looking through the small slot near the bottom of the wall. "Another prisoner?"
"We are all prisoners here."
"Maybe April, Mara, Zane, Kaz, Natalie, and Casey are working on a rescue plan." Briana suggested.
๐๐๐
"YOU LOST THEM!? What do you mean you lost them!?" Mara shouted at the robot.
"Yeah, what if they're being dissected!? Or deep fried!" Casey exclaimed. "Or being skinned alive orโ"
Zane elbowed him in his chest. "That's not helping. I'm sure he'll find them."
"Found them!"
"See?" Zane said before turning to the robot. "Where are they?"
Fugitoid typed in a few commands and they looked on the screen, showing the blueprints of the Triceraton mothership, getting a livestream of the turtles, Henry, Briana, Derek, and Scott in their holding cell and another screen of the Tri-Arena.
"Oh, dear," the robot said. "It seems our friends are scheduled to fight in the Triceraton Arena."
"Wait, fight? An arena?" April asked.
"You mean like gladiators?" Casey asked before a grin appeared on his face. "Wicked!"
Kaz facepalmed while April rolled her eyes.
"Yes, wicked and cruel," Fugitoid said. "There's no telling what monsters they'll be forced to fight."
"Well, we can't sit here!" Natalie exclaimed. "We have to rescue them!"
"I could remote-pilot the shuttle," Fugitoid stated. "If we sneak aboard while everyone is watching the games, we should have little trouble finding their prison cell."
"Maybe we can even take the black hole piece while we're in there," Kaz added. "Kill two birds with one stone."
"Yes, brilliant idea, Kaz!" Fugitoid praised. "That's assuming they survive their first battle."
"Well then, we better get moving." April stated.
๐๐๐
GRIMACES OF DISGUST were formed as Michelangelo ate the weird slug creatures. "Mmm. It's kind of like fried calamari." He threw one of the slugs to the bars above, electrocuting it and cooking it. He juggled it in his hands as it fell back to him, grabbing it once it was cool enough. "Heads up, neighbor." He threw it under the wall to the other cell. "Extra-crispy for ya!"
"Thank you."
"If you eat that, I'm gonna throw up." Scott told his brother, who was staring at a slug he held.
Derek stared at him before looking back at the slug. He tossed it into his mouth and ate it while Scott's face turned a bit green.
"You're disgusting." Scott said, bringing a hand to his mouth as if he was trying not to vomit.
"We eat raw meat sometimes and you're grossed out by me eating a slug? Besides, it's not that bad," Derek said before he smirked a little, holding out a slug towards his brother. "Want to try?"
Scott glared at him before turning his head to the left, throwing up near the red-masked mutant turtle. Raphael yelped and scrambled away from it, glaring at him.
"Derek." Henry warned.
"What?" Derek asked, clearly trying not to laugh. "Did you really think I wouldn't go for it?" He looked back at his brother. "You good there, Scotty?"
Scott only flipped him off, making Derek chuckle.
"I wonder what they're gonna have us fight." Briana said, changing the subject.
"Fresh meat always fights a Spasmosaur. You will meet a quick and painful end."
"There's gotta be a way of stopping it." Eclipse said.
"It's invulnerable, except for one white spot on its flank. But even that is hopeless to reach."
The door opened to two guards waiting. "Prisoners, prepare for battle."
"Good luck, warriors," their neighbor said. "You'll need it."
"Wait, what's your name, dude?" Leonardo asked.
"They call me Zeno."
They walked out of the cell and grabbed their weapons from the rack, heading out into the arena. The stands were filled with cheering Triceratons, fireworks going off and a large screen floating above them to show the fights.
"Whoa."
"Fellow saurains, subjects of the Empire," the announcer began. "We have strange new contestants for today's games. For the first time ever in the Tri-Arena, I give you the Adolescent Alien Warrior Terrans."
The crowd started booing while they drew their weapons.
Zanmoran stood up from his throne and raised a hand, silencing the crowd. "Warriors, you will perish for your treachery. But I grant you the chance to win your freedom through the glory of battle." The crowd cheered, though quieted when he raised his hand again. "But first, you must prove your worth against the mighty Spasmosaur!"
The crowd cheered as a gate opened. Both Leonardo and Henry raised their swords and got into fighting stances.
"Whatever comes out of that gate, we stick together and go for its vulnerable spot, like Zeno said," Leonardo instructed.
But what came out was an ugly alien creature with multiple eyes, mouths, and tentacles while the crowd cheered.
"I'm saying it," Derek commented. "We're goners."
Michelangelo blinked. "Vulnerable spot?"
"MOVE!" Henry shouted as they jumped out of the way when a tentacle slammed into the ground.
"Finding its vulnerable spot might be harder than we originally thought!" Raphael called.
Eclipse rolled out of the way of a tentacle, flipping over it as it came for another pass. She charged at the alien, lifting her kamas but it caught her weapons and threw her aside. Another tentacle grabbed Scott's ankle and lifted him up into the air by his ankle.
"Ugh, I think I'm gonna throw up again..." Scott said.
"Do you see that white spot, dudes?" Michelangelo called.
"All I see are tentacles trying to rip my face off!" Eclipse retorted, dodging a tentacle.
"Those aliens have spirit, but the Spasmosaur is looking hungry tonight."
Donatello screamed as the Spasmosaur threw him into the air. "There's the white spot!" He triggered the blade out of his staff and threw it. It sank into the white spot and the Spasmosaur squealed as blue blood squirted out.
The creature dropped them and retreated back through the gate, the crowd booing them.
"Yeah, high-three!" Michelangelo cheered, only for a rock to hit his head.
The eight teens raised their hands to try to shield themselves from the rocks being thrown at them.
๐๐๐
THE WHITE ROBOT continued to lead the group down the hallways as fast as they could run, staying as quiet as possible before coming to a stop at one intersection. "Well, we're completely lost." Casey said.
Fugitoid ran down one corner with everyone else following him. However, they just happened to past behind one door that opened to reveal Mozar and two other Triceraton soldiers.
"Blast them!" Mozar ordered as his soldiers started shouting at them. "Capture the Fugitoid alive! Disintegrate the others!"
As they ran, April tried to shoot back with her gun but couldn't land a hit. They turned down one corner and tried to find corner.
"All of you, run!" Fugitoid exclaimed. "Go for the black hole device! I'll find our friends!"
"What?! We can't leave you!" Zane argued.
"There's no time! Go!"
"He's right, we don't have time!" Kaz said. "Run!"
They ran down the hallway while Mara pushed a large button, causing the door to close behind them.
Fugitoid tried to make a fun for it himself, only to be punched in the face by Mozar and knocked onto the ground.
"The Fugitoid is finally mine!" Mozar exclaimed. "I will take my prize to the Emperor personally!"
๐๐๐
THE EIGHT TEENS were brought back to their cell as the door was closed shut and they all caught their breaths.
"Congratulations," Zeno said. "You are lucky to be alive."
"That's not luck, it's ninja training, bro," Michelangelo said. "Hey, Zeno, how'd you end up in here?"
"I am a traitor to the Empire," Zeno explained. "I was once a respected Triceraton warrior, but I disagreed with the emperor's plan to find the heart of darkness."
"The black hole generator?" Raphael asked.
"There is no honor in a weapon that destroys worlds from afar. For saying such things, I was thrown into this pit."
Michelangelo grabbed a slug off the floor and ate it. Suddenly, someone banged on the door.
"You're up again, aliens."
"What!? Already!?" Derek complained as the door opened. "Oh, come on!"
"I fear I know who you are fighting next, Warriors," Zeno said. "Fight with honor and you will find glory."
They got to their feet and Leonardo looked at the wall of the cell. "Zeno, if we don't see you again, good luck getting your freedom."
"Thank you, my friend. I might need it."
๐๐๐
ONCE AGAIN, THE eight of them had walked out onto the Tri-Arena and once they got out, Henry felt his eyes widened when he saw a familiar robot beside the Emperor.
"We got a problem," Henry said, pointing to the captured robot.
"Great!" Raphael pinched the bridge of his eyebrows. "Now we gotta get out of here and rescue Fugitoid!?"
"But if he's here, that means Kaz and the others are too," Briana said.
"They're probably looking for the black hole piece while everyone's watching us," Eclipse said.
"And now... the vile aliens face your Triceraton champion!" The announcer began as a large gate opened on the other side of the arena. "The great... the merciless... Zeno the undefeatable!"
Scott felt his jaw dropped. "Did he just say..."
"ZENO! ZENO! ZENO! ZENO!" The crowd shouted as a large Triceraton walked out of the gate, much to their shock and horror.
"Zeno..." Scott finished as Zeno himself stood before them, being the twice the size of every other Triceraton as Zeno let out a roar.
"Zeno, is that really you?" Briana asked.
"I did not mean to deceive you, my friend," Zeno said honestly. "But now we meet as was intended: in glorious battle!" He tried to smash his mallet down on them but they all jumped away to avoid it.
"But dude! We can't fight you!" Michelangelo exclaimed.
"Ya think!?" Eclipse and Raphael snapped.
Zeno swung his mallet at them again and although most of them managed to avoid it, Donatello was hit and sent flying to the other side of the arena. The group were put onto the defensive as they all ran around, avoiding the mallet.
"You are honorable beings and deserve a warrior's end!" Zeno told them. "Perhaps I will only chop off a limb or two!"
"What!? How does that make any of this better!?" Scott exclaimed as Zeno swung his hammer at them, hitting the ground and creating a vibration that sent most of the group rolling across the ground.
"Anybody got any last words cause we're all gonna die?" Derek questioned before his eyes widened when Zeno charged at him. "I hate dinosaurs."
๐๐๐
TWO TRICERATON GUARDS stood in front of the armory, yet the sound of the cheers coming from the Tri-Arena could be heard from the distance, leaving the two guards tempted to leave their positions to go watch the fight.
"Come on!" One guard complained. "We deserved a three-nexton break! We're missing the big fight!"
Then, the two guards walked away and once they were gone, two large stone containers opened up from inside of them, revealing April, Kaz, Mara in one and Zane, Natalie, and Casey in the other. They quickly and quietly got out and came towards the large steel door.
"Well, here it is," Casey said before gesturing to Natalie. "How do we get the doors open if wolfie here refuses to use her super strength?"
"Hang on." April held her crystal fragment, which she had made into a necklace, and focused her powers as the crystal began to glow and pulsate. After a few seconds, the door opened almost automatically.
"That was awesome, Cupcake," Mara said with a smirk. "How'd you do that?"
"The Professor's training," April answered. "The crystal shard I got from the Aeons helps me focus my powers."
They looked inside and found the first piece to the heart of darkness on top of several containers.
"So, how do we carry this thing?" Natalie asked.
Kaz looked around and spotted the devices that the Triceratons used to trap people in bubbles. "Back up, guys." He grabbed one of the devices, which created a bubble with the piece of the black hole generator inside of it, connected to a string that kept intact with the device as if it were a balloon. "Let's get out of here now."
Kaz grabbed the device and they walked out of the armory. "Hey, that wasn't so hard." Casey said.
Right when they were about to turn a corner, the two Triceraton guards from before stood in front of them; laughing and carrying snacks and sodas, one of them even had a foam finger that say 'Zeno' on it, before the two guards stopped and looked inside shock at the others.
"You just had to say something, didn't you, Jones?" Mara retorted.
"So, you guys wouldn't happen to believe that we were just taking this to get cleaned, right?" Zane asked nervously, but the answer was given when the two guards dropped their stuff and pointed their guns at them. "Yeah, I didn't think so."
"RUN!" Natalie yelled, as the group made a run for it, pulling the black hole generator piece with them.
"You! Intruders! Halt!"
๐๐๐
THE EIGHT OF them did their best to fight Zeno but even with their combined attacks, it was proven useless against the massive alien gladiator. Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Henry, Eclipse, Derek, and Scott leapt at him to attack, only to smack against his chest that felt like a brick wall.
Zeno gave a loud roar as he attacked. He slammed Michelangelo on the ground, smashed Donatello against the wall with his mallet, grabbed both Henry and Raphael in his hands as he slammed them down on the ground, grabbed Derek in one hand and one of the hovering cameras in the other before repeatedly slamming it in Derek's face, smacked his tail into Briana and sent her flying back into Eclipse and Scott.
Leonardo tried to get an attack as he jumped up with his swords aimed at Zeno's face, but Zeno grabbed him and slammed him on the ground and readied his mallet for the finishing blow.
"LEO!"
Everyone ran over, making Zeno stop before he can bring the hammer down. "Zeno, we're friends!" Briana said.
"Yeah!" Michelangelo said in agreement. "We want the same things liked fried calamari and getting rid of the black hole thingy!"
"Please, the fate of our planet is at stake." Donatello pleaded.
The other mutant turtles, Henry, and Briana dropped their weapons while Derek and Scott let their eyes returned to normal while making their claws and sharp teeth return to normal as well as they all closed their eyes and lowered their heads, putting their fates in Zeno's hand.
"Do it, Zeno; finish the aliens and you will have earned your freedom." Zanmoran called.
Nobody said anything as they kept their heads lowered and eyes closedโ and in case Zeno decided to go through with it, to finish them off right there and then, both Henry and Eclipse intertwined their hands together and held on to the other; their own little message was received between the two with the gentle squeezes of their hands.
I love you.
The crowd was chanting Zeno's name and the large Triceraton stared down at the group, who awaited their fate. Zeno closed his eyes for a moment, then turned and threw the hammer. The crowd of Triceratons gasped as the hammer slammed into the back of the throne.
"You dare!" Zanmoran snapped.
"These are honorable beings," Zeno stated. "We are here because we wish the heart of darkness destroyed. But you would use it like some cowardly kraang!"
"Grr, destroy him!"
The gates opened and Triceraton soldiers ran into the arena, aiming their guns at the group.
"Escape," Zeno ordered. "Find the black hole generator. Destroy it." He roared, fending off the soldiers as they began to shoot.
While Zeno fended off the Triceraton soldiers, it gave the eight teens the chance to make it the platform where Fugitoid was being kept. By the time that Mozar had turned around, the eight of them were surrounding Zanmoran aiming a blaster at the emperor.
"One wrong move and he gets it!" Scott warned.
"Let Fugitoid go and we walk out of here." Leonardo demanded.
Mozar growled but released the white robot, having no other choice with his emperor's life on the line.
"My friends!" Fugitoid said as he joined them. "I was just formatting a most excellent rescue plan."
"What about Zeno?" Briana asked.
The group turned to see Zeno still fighting as he jumped into the air, grabbed a camera, and smashed it into a group of soldiers.
Derek blinked. "I think he's good."
Then, they started running through the corridors of the mothership, Raphael still holding Zanmoran hostage with a blaster pointed at his head.
"Fools!" The emperor growled. "You have made a great enemy of the Triceraton Empire."
"Even if you get off this ship, there is nowhere in the ten dimensions we will not find you," Mozar snapped, following behind with a couple of guards, but none of them attacked with their emperor's life on the line.
The group heard screaming and the next thing they knew was that the rest of their friends rounded a corner, pulling the black hole piece in a Triceraton trap device, guards shooting behind them.
"Watch out! Triceratons behind us!" Mara shouted.
"Triceratons behind us!" Briana added.
The two groups collided and the emperor's crown was knocked off his head.
"Emperor Zanmoran!" A guard gasped. "Hold your fire!"
"No!" Zanmoran snapped. "They have the heart of darkness!"
"Wipe them out!" Mozar snapped.
"Let's get out of here!" Natalie said.
"No need to tell me twice!" Scott agreed.
They all took off running towards the airlock, dragging the black hole piece with them while the Triceratons shot at them.
"I hope you guys parked close!" Eclipse said.
"Hold your breath, guys!" April said.
"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me!" Raphael and Derek shouted in unison, knowing exactly what that meant.
Zane slammed his fist on a button as they ran and the door to the airlock in front of them opened, along with the airlock itself, as they all held their breaths before the airlock sucked them and everything around them into space.
Luckily, April had already concentrated her powers into her crystal shard and managed to form an invisible shield around everyone to give them oxygen as they floated toward the de-cloaked shuttle. Once they all boarded with the black hole piece, Leonardo got into the seat and drove the shuttle ship straight towards their ship and Fugitoid wasted no time in setting a remote course while the ship entered hyperspace and escaping from the Triceraton mothership.
๐๐๐
EVERYONE SAT DOWN as they all tried to catch their breaths. "That was way too close." Donatello said.
"I can't believe we just fought our way through the Triceraton mothership and back out again." Raphael stated.
"I can't believe I missed your awesome gladiator matches!" Casey said.
"Tell me about it!" Mara agreed.
"We couldn't have made it without Zeno." Michelangelo said, eating some more of the alien slugs from their cell.
"I don't want to know how you got all of those." Eclipse told him, disgusted.
Scott's face turned a bit green from the sight of the alien slugs. "Aw, man, why would you bring those?"
"They're not bad." Derek said, grabbing one of the alien slugs and eating it, much to everyone's disgust. "You sure youโ"
"Don't even finish that sentence, Derek." Henry warned, knowing what exactly he was gonna say.
"Aw, man." Derek whined.
"One piece down, two more to go." Kaz said.
"Where do you think we'll find the next one, Professor?" Zane asked.
"I have an idea where to start." Michelangelo said.
Michelangelo jumped up, still chewing. "That calls... for a booya... booya..." he couldn't finish since he was still chewing but then, Fugitoid shoved him aside and finished for him.
"BOOYAKASHA!"
"So, Zeno might've been a Triceraton, but he definitely wasn't like them. And if it hadn't been for him, I don't think we would've made it out of there."
