A/N: Eclipse belongs to GeekyCookie1. Mara, Axel, Serenity, and Zane belongs to MariChat3.
So, I'm aware that originally, it's supposed to be Mikey but I switched it to Henry since I wanted to have some fun with this one.
Enjoy!
"When you grow up with someone for your entire life, you pretty much know everything about them, right? Well, sometimes if you happen to get a closer look at that person, you'll find things that they never told youโ and sometimes, it ends up explaining why they're the way they are."
"FINALLY, A LITTLE action!" Raphael said as he and the others stood on the bridge watching as they flew past the other ships. "Check out all the ships!"
"Dudes, dudettes, Zayfod's Cantina is bumping!" Michelangelo exclaimed, hands pressed against the screen. "I bet their food is... out of this world!"
"That joke is old now," Derek told him. "Think of a new one."
"So, why are we going here again?" Leonardo asked.
"I promised a way to break into the Triceraton mothership, didn't I?" Fugitoid responded. "If you wanna steal the first piece of the black hole generator, the first step is toโ"
"Distract them with pepperoni!" Michelangelo interrupted, holding up a long stick of pepperoni. "Look at the size of this!"
"Mikey, pay attention!" Raphael snapped. "This is important stuff! Ugh. Continue, Professor."
Michelangelo popped up behind his brother and smacked him with the pepperoni. Raphael growled and started chasing him around the room while his youngest brother laughed.
"The first step is to acquire a schematic of the mothership from a shady information dealer named Vrax Belebome." Fugitoid finished.
"So, where do we find this guy?" Casey asked, sitting on the back of one of the stations.
"In a place where Terrans are not welcome," Fugitoid responded. "April, Natalie, Briana, Casey, Kaz, Mara, and Zane will have to stay behind."
"What!?" Briana exclaimed.
"Aww, come on!" April complained. "Stay behind?"
"We just got a break from fighting Triceratons and we're stuck on this ship!?" Kaz added.
"Aw, man! I wanted to get some action in!" Mara complained. "Way to ruin it, Fugi-dude!"
"This stinks!" Zane complained.
"Oh, this is alien racism!" Casey growled, losing his balance and falling off of the space station and onto the floor. "Whoa!"
Briana, Zane, Kaz, Mara, and April stared at him before back at the robot. "Fine, we'll stay here." Kaz said.
"Wait, hold on!" Casey said, standing up onto his feet. "How come Henry, Derek, and Scott get to go? I don't see you telling them to stay!"
"Because you can't do this." Scott said as he let his eyes flashed yellow while his teeth grew sharper and his fingernails turn into claws. He blinked, letting his eyes, teeth, and claws return back to normal.
"Last time I checked, Natalie can do that too," Mara reminded. "Why is she staying?"
"Because I refuse to use mine." Natalie said, still wanting nothing to do with being part-wolf after it made her adoptive parents see her as a monster and kicked her out of their lives.

ONCE THEY HAD suited up, they headed into the cantina and Fugitoid was carrying a briefcase. Once inside, they removed their helmets as all the aliens inside stopped and stared at them, losing interest in them a few seconds later after hearing a glass shatter.
Raphael sighed. "For once a place we can sit down, blend in, and eat a meat."
Scott scoffed. "I refuse to eat what they served here."
Leonardo shook his head. "Don't get too comfortable, Raph."
"In fact, don't make eye, hand, or tentacle contact with anyone or anything." Fugitoid added, leading them through the cantina. "These are outlaws with nothing to lose."
As everyone kept walking, Derek's ears twitched at a clatter and turned to see the orange masked mutant turtle with a one-eyed alien.
"My din-din!" The alien snapped. "You trying to start something, sucka?" He pulled out a gun and aimed it at Michelangelo. "Cause I got a great ending for you. Got a problem, doofus?"
"Sorry, dude." Michelangelo quickly picked up the food, putting it back on the fallen tray and holding it out to the alien. "Just picking up the food for you. My bad."
Derek walked over and yanked the mutant turtle back, pushing him behind him. "Sorry, sir, my friend is a bit... odd."
"He ruined my din-din!"
"Can't you just order another plate?" Derek questioned with an eye roll. "Or just eat it, it doesn'tโ" the gun was pushed into his face and this time, his eyes flashed yellow as he let out an animalistic growl as a warning. "You have five seconds to get that gun out of my face before I take your stupid din-dins and shove them up yourโ"
"Wait, stop!" Fugitoid called quickly, running between Derek and the alien.
"Oh, it's you," the alien said, lowering his gun. "And these idiots are your muscle, huh? Sorry looking bunch, I must sayโ"
Derek growled, snarling his sharp teeth at him. "Listen here, you stupid, fatโ" he doesn't finish his sentence because Henry smacks the back of his head while the alien moved to a nearby table, sitting down.
"Come on. Grab a seat there, Honeycutt."
They followed the robot to the table and behind, Eclipse looked over at her brother while Leonardo grabbed the tray from him. "Mikey, keep in mind that this guy has the plans to the Triceraton mothership. Try not to tick him off, okay?" She said.
They made it to the table where Leonardo set down the tray.
Michelangelo reached for the food. "Mind if I have a little bite?" Belebome smacked his hand away. "Ow!"
"You best step up off my Vanarian muffins, son!"
Eclipse glared at her brother. "What did I just say?"
Raphael pulled him back. "Mikey. What is going on in your head, man?"
Michelangelo closes his eyes. "Hmm, I see a land where pizza grows on trees." Raphael facepalmed.
"I brought the agreed-upon fee of 50,00 Zemulaks." Fugitoid placed the case onto the table. Belebome tried to take it, but the robot didn't release it. "Did you bring the information?"
Belebome snatched it from the robot. "Of course, I'm no rookie, robobrain." He opened the case and looked inside and then closed it. "This'll do for a down payment. Another 50,00 and, uh, y'all got yourself a deal!"
"What?" The robot questioned. "But you saidโ this is all I have! It's my life's savings!"
"See you when you get the other 50, losers!" Belebome opened his mouth, releasing some sort of gas.
They all started coughing and nobody noticed that Michelangelo was the first to run off after the alien till they were done coughing. They found Michelangelo taking cover behind the counter from the alien's blaster and Henry growled, shooting at the alien but missing.
"Drop your weapon, freak!" Raphael snapped.
"How about I drop you instead?" Belebome retorted, knocking over a table to use as cover. He started shooting at them and they used other tables as cover while firing back.
When the alien stopped firing, so did they as they emerged from cover, approaching the alien. Belebome threw the table off of him. "I'll blast you!" He started shooting at them again, and they took cover again.
Michelangelo jumped out from behind the bar and shot the gun out of Belebome's hand, rolling to a landing. "Stop!" He shot again, knocking the case away.
Belebome turned to fetch it, only for Fugitoid to slam his fist into him, knocking him to the floor. Belebome reached for his gun but Derek kicked it away.
Michelangelo spun his gun before putting it back in his holster. "You messed up big time, man!"
"Just make good on the deal and we'll forget this happened!" Henry snapped.
"Forget it, the deal's off!" Belebome snapped. "Liars, thieves!"
"What!? You're calling us thieves!?" Scott snapped, grabbing the case. "You stole from us!"
"We're wasting our time with this loser," Leonardo said. "Let's go." He turned and left with the others following.
"Yeah, we don't need you, Bellybomb!" Michelangelo snapped. "I got away better secrets than you'll ever have! Like the black hole pieces and stuff. Booya-kasha."
"Dude!" Derek snapped, grabbing his mask and dragging him with him. "Quit telling him stuff!"
๐๐๐
THEY RETURNED TO the ship and flew away from the cantina, recounting what happened to April, Kaz, Casey, Mara, Zane, Natalie, and Briana as they gathered in the TV room.
Mara blinked. "Wow, talk about a jerk."
"Yeah, sounds like a real class act. I thought you knew this guy, Professor." April said.
Raphael growled. "Should've just smashed that mouth-farter for trying to jack us!"
"We may be back where we started, but we'll find another way," Leonardo responded. "Let's blow off some steam in the holo room." He headed for the door. "You down for some training, Mikey?"
"Nah," Michelangelo responded, laughing as he leaned over the back of the couch to grab the remote. "I'm gonna chill and scope some Chris Bradford and His 2Ruff Krew." He turned on the tv.
"Have fun."
๐๐๐
HE DIDN'T KNOW why but his wolf was suddenly acting anxious and just to be safe, Henry had left the holo-room for a while and entered the rec room, walking over to the couch where he found Michelangelo fast asleep with an open pizza-box on the floor.
"Why is it so worried?" Henry muttered to himself. "Mikey's fine."
But just when he turned and went to walk away, he stopped when his ears pricked at the slightest sound of a tiny craft coming to land on the mutant turtle's shell. He spotted the trio of microscope aliens getting off and began to march across the shell.
"What the hell?"
Henry bent down a bit and picked up the tiny aliens, holding them up closer to get a better look at them. But that was all he could remember before everything went black.
๐๐๐
"I'M TELLING YOU, guys!" Michelangelo said, a panicked look on his face as he had gathered everyone into the rec room where an unconscious Henry lay on the floor. "Something's wrong with Henry! He won't wake up at all!"
"Henry, are you alright?" Briana asked, shaking him slightly but getting no response. "Henry?"
"Mikey, if this is a jokeโ" Raphael started.
"It's not, bro! I'm serious!" Michelangelo interrupted.
Eclipse bent down and felt his forehead. "It doesn't feel like he has a fever."
Donatello bent down next to her and opened one of his eyes to find it completely dazed. "He's alive, but totally zonked out."
"It could be one of Bellybomb's disgusting burps." Scott suggested.
Fugitoid scanned Henry. "Oh, dear. I'm afraid Henry's mind has been infiltrated by Neutrinos."
"Neutral subatomic particles?" Donatello asked.
"No, Neutrino is just a nickname due to their microscopic sizeโ" Fugitoid explained. "No one knows their real nameโ"
"Dude, who cares about their backstory! What the heck do they want!?" Mara snapped.
"In short, his mind," Fugitoid said. "Every person has an inner self deep in their consciousness. The Neutrinos track down and remove this inner self, stealing all of their knowledge and memories. Leaving the victim a mindless body."
"Who would want to steal Henry's memories though?" Kaz asked.
"Yeah, and why?" Casey added.
Derek blinked, recalling something as he crossed his arms over his chest. "I don't think Henry was their target, right, Mikey? I mean, you did talk about the pieces of the black hole generator in front of Bellybomb."
Realization crossed over Leonardo's face. "And when Henry came to check on Mikey since his wolf was getting anxious, he saw them and they went after him instead."
"So, this is happening because Mikey couldn't keep his mouth shut?" Raphael questioned with a raised brow. "Makes sense."
"I have a plan to save your brother, but it's going to require a little psychic help." Fugitoid said, looking over at April.
๐๐๐
"I DON'T KNOW about this."
The five mutant turtles, Briana, Scott, Derek, and Natalie were kneeling in front of Henry, who was laying with his head in April's lap. All of them except for April, Casey, Mara, Zane, Kaz, and Fugitoid had tubes attached to their foreheads.
"Well, the theory is sound," Fugitoid responded, typing into console. "April will physically project you into Henry's mind. You must stop the Neutrinos from taking his inner self at all costs!"
"Well, navigating through Henry's mind should be easier than Mikey's mind," Eclipse said.
"Yeah, but how do we know if we're doing it right?" Briana asked.
"Don't worry, I'll do what I can to help guide you through," April reassured them. "We'll find his inner Henry."
"Remember, if the Neutrinos destroy you inside his head, your body here will reduced to a vegetative state." Fugitoid responded.
Natalie felt her eyes widened. "Wait, what!?"
"Whoa, hold on!"
"This is a bad idea!"
"Hold up, Fugitoid!"
"You never told us that!"
"Professor, wait!"
"Why are you just now mentioning this!?"
Their protests came too late as Fugitoid pressed a button on the console. The ship disappeared from around them and they found themselves standing within an apartment in New York City.
"Uh, did we just teleport?" Raphael asked.
"No." April's voice echoed around them. "You're in Henry's memories."
"What's the matter, Henry?" A familiar voice asked, yet it sounded different at the same time.
The group whirled around and found two kids that were none other than Henry and Zane, who looked to be around the age of twelve, sitting at the table since they were playing Battleship. The only thing was that Henry had what looked like the slightest hint of a frown on his face.
"Hm?" Henry asked before snapping back to reality. "Oh, it's nothing, just..." he hesitated for a few seconds before he kept going. "I don't really feel like going home later."
"Are your parents still fighting?" Zane asked, a small frown on his face.
"Yeah, that, or they're never really home." Henry said.
Axel and Serenity, who had heard him, walked over to the two boys. "Henry, is your sister home with them?" Axel asked.
Henry shook his head. "No, she's at her friend's house. She's spending the night, I dropped her off before I came here."
"You did?" Serenity asked and he nodded. "Where are your parents?"
Henry shrugged. "Work, I think. They weren't home when Piper and I left so, I just left a note for them."
Axel and Serenity shared a look before looking back at him. "Well, do you want to spend the night here?" Axel asked.
Henry hesitated again, biting the bottom half of his lip (something that the five mutant turtles and Briana were starting to realize that he did a lot when they were kids whenever he was asked about something he wanted). "Are you sure? I don't have to." He said.
"Of course it's okay," Serenity said, offering a gentle smile. "You two can hang out all night. I'll take you to your place later so you can grab your things and we'll come back here."
Zane looked at Henry with a smile. "What do you think, Hen?"
Henry looked between Zane, Axel, and Serenity for a few seconds, as if he was wondering why they were offering him to spend the night with them. He almost wondered if he should declined, not wanting to be a burden to them but the last thing he wanted was to spend the night alone at home... again.
"Okay, sure," Henry said. "Thank you."
Briana blinked at the memory, her face deflating a bit. "I didn't know his parents were fighting a lot. Did you guys?"
Michelangelo shook his head. "No."
"I don't think he told any of us." Eclipse said.
"So, what's the deal with his parents exactly?" Derek asked curiously. "Were they having money problems or something?"
"It's... complicated," Leonardo said, sharing a look with his siblings as none of them was quite sure what to tell them. "We don't really know a lotโ at least, not from when we were kids. He didn't talk about his parents a lot."
"Howโ" Natalie started but was cut off by a familiar voice.
"What the heck!?"
"That's Henry!" Raphael said as they all took off running into a hallway. "Hang on, Henry! We're coming!"
They ran towards the source and found three huge metal beings.
"The Neutrinos!" Donatello called. "I thought they'd be a lot smaller."
"Not the priority here!" Scott exclaimed.
One of the Neutrinos blasted lasers at them and they jumped back, drawing their weapons and ran at the Neutrinos.
Eclipse attacked one with her kamas. "They're not so tough!" However, her words were proven wrong when it slammed her back.
Michelangelo swung his nunchucks at one, but the Neutrino caught it with ease. "Dudes, dudettes, these guys are built like tanks!" The Neutrino swung his nunchuck around, sending him flying into Briana as the two crashed onto the ground.
Natalie backflipped to evade one of the Neutrinos. Both Derek and Scott ducked to avoid getting hit by Raphael and Donatello as the two flew past them. Leonardo struck at other Neutrino with his blades, only for them to punch him back.
"Their armor's too strong!" Leonardo shouted. "MOVE!"
"We'll lose them in the streets!" Natalie said, running out of the building.
As the others followed, the group suddenly found themselves standing in the living room of a house instead of the streets. Scott blinked, looking around the area. "Uh, isn't this Henry's house?" He questioned.
"It is," Donatello said. "It's another memory."
"Hey, look," Natalie said, pointing over to the kitchen. "There's Henry. Well, almost Henry."
They all looked over to where she was pointing and spotted a seven-year-old Henry walking away from the sink, just as he finished drying the dishes and putting them away. Right when he was about to sit on the couch, Kris came down the stairs as the older woman was clearly in a hurry, throwing her phone and wallet into her purse.
"Okay, Henry, I'm off to work and your father will be here soon, okay?" Kris said, stopping at the front door as Henry walked over to her. She turned around to face him, staring down at him with a serious look in her eyes. "What are the rules?"
"Only answer the phone when it rings twice and no having friends over when you or dad aren't home." Henry answered.
"And most importantly?"
"Watch out for Piper," Henry finished. "I know."
"Alright, I'll see you later, sweetie," Kris said as she opened the front door and walked out while Henry closed the front door behind her and locked it.
"Henry!"
Henry turned to see a four-year-old Piper heading down the stairs, holding a piece of paper in her hands and when she reached the bottom step, she jumped off and rushed over to her brother.
"Happy birthday!" Piper said, holding a paper out to him. "Look what I made you!"
Henry took the paper from her and glanced down at it to find a drawing of him with her on the paper. In messy crayon writing, at the top of the paper were the words: to the best big brother ever.
"Thanks, Pipes," Henry said with a soft smile. "I love it."
Piper grinned happily at those words as she turned around and moved into further into the house. Henry took one last look at the drawing and smiled again, carefully folding it before sliding it into his pocket, making a mental note to take it out before going to bed earlier.
Raphael scoffed. "You're telling me that Mrs Hart and Mr. Hart couldn't even be home onโ"
"Shh! It's not finish," Donatello told him.
Then, the next thing they knew was that the memory before them changed to a few hours later and this time, Henry was the only one sitting on the couch with a bored expression on his face. He kept glancing at the time and since he had brought Piper to bed a few hours ago, all he had to do was wait for his parents to come home and go to bed so, he'd be able to sneak out and head to the lair.
All hours and hours passed, and neither Kris or Jack showed up.
To Henry, being stuck inside all day made him feel like he was suffocatingโ like he was gonna crazy, staring at the same walls and ceilings as all he wanted was to get some fresh air and go see his friends at the lair. Then, he looked towards the door, remembering that his parents kept a key underneath welcome mat at the front door in case he and Piper got home from school and they weren't home (which, was a normal occurrence for them).
Maybe... he'd be able to go out for some fresh air and stop by the lair for a quick visit, just for a few seconds!
It was all he wanted to do on his birthday, after all.
He just had to make sure that he made it back before his parents did.
So, Henry found himself standing up from the couch and walking out the front door. Making sure to grab the key from underneath the welcome mat and using it to lock the front door, he turned around but hesitated for a second.
"Just for a few seconds," Henry muttered to himself. "I'll be back before they get home."
But, of course, to his own luck, it didn't go according to plan as Henry lost track of time during his visit to the lair as he ended up having too much fun that he forgot it was supposed to be a quick visit. By the time that it was late and he got back home, his stomach dropped when he found the front door opened and he ran inside the house, running up the stairs and straight into Piper's bedroom, which was empty.
"Oh, god, don't do this to me," Henry whispered to himself, panicked.
He scrambled around the bedroom, checking every area where his sister could be hiding in. But then, he heard a soft sniffle from the closest and walked over to it, throwing open the doors to find his sister sitting in the corner, curled up.
"Henry?"
"Oh, thank god!" Henry exclaimed, reaching over to help her get out before pulling her into his arms. "God, Pipes, thank god you're okay. Come on."
He picked his baby sister up and carried her downstairs, setting her down on the couch before sitting next to her, letting her grab onto his shirt as he hugged her.
"You okay, Pipes?" Henry asked.
Piper nodded shakily as she whispered softly. "They didn't go upstairs. I think daddy left money out on the table."
Henry hugged his sister tightly, frowning slightly as he mentally cursed himself out. How could he have been so stupid? He should've waited for his parents to get back rather than going out like he wanted.
It was his fault.
"What happened!?"
Henry froze as his grip on his sister loosened, looking up at the doorway to find Jack and Kris standing there. Piper looked over, her eyes going wide at the sight of her parents.
"Mommy! Daddy!" Piper didn't hesitate to get off the couch and run over, throwing her arms around Kris, who hugged back.
Henry bit the bottom half of his lip as he stood up, fidgeting with his fingers as he swallowed his saliva.
"Piper. Oh, Piper, sweetie, are you okay?" Kris asked, holding her close.
Piper nodded. "I'm okay, mommy."
Jack looked over at Henry with a frown and Henry felt his heart dropped at the slight hint of disappointment written on his face. He blinked, trying not to let his eyes grow watery.
"What happened?" Jack asked.
"I... I just went out." Henry admitted softly.
"What?" Kris and Jack asked, yet there was a small hint of anger in their tones.
Henry tried not to, he really did, but he couldn't help but flinched a bit at their tones. "It was supposed to be just for a second. I just... wanted to get... some fresh air. I... I just lost track of time. I'm sorry."
"You weren't allowed to leave the house! I told you not to let Piper out of your sight!" Kris yelled, making Henry glance down at the ground while his parents turned their attention to Piper.
Henry just stared down at the ground, blinking back the tears that threatened to slip down his face as he bit the bottom half of his lip harder to keep himself from crying while squeezing his eyes shut.
Eclipse blinked at the memory. "Okay, no offense, but we better not see Mr. Hart or Mrs. Hart for a while because I'm gonna murder them if we do."
"You and me both." Raphael said, crossing his arms over his chest.
"This..." Briana started for a second before she frowned lightly. "Do you guys think this has to be why Henry puts a lot of pressure on himself?"
"It'd make sense," Donatello said. "He's always been protective or blamed himself if things went wrong, even when we were kids."
Leonardo was glaring at Kris and Jack, even though he knew it was just a memory. "This whole thing wasn't his fault. Kris was the one who left them alone, and it was on his birthday."
"Yeah, but dude, knowing Henry? He probably blamed it on himself." Michelangelo said, a frown on his face.
"So, has his parents always been like this?" Natalie asked softly, clearly not liking what she was seeing. "I mean, how often did they leave Henry alone with his sister?"
"From what Henry told us, pretty much every single day," Eclipse said. "But he never told us about this."
Natalie couldn't help but frown lightly as she glanced back over at where her brother stood in the memory. The whole time, she thought she had it bad since her adoptive parents had kicked her out after finding out that she wasn't normal but before the accident, her life was amazing with two loving parents and a older sister that she adored. But here she was, witnessing what Henryโ someone who was her brotherโ go through something that was worse than what she went through, and the only difference was that he's been going through it his entire life, unlike her.
And that made her heart ache for Henry, even if the two didn't know each other that well despite being related by blood.
"So, you guys are saying that his parents had been, like what, abusing him and his sister this whole time?" Derek questioned.
"Technically, child neglect is a form of child abuse," Donatello said. "But I don't think Henry will see it that way, even if we tried convincing him."
"Well, obviously not," Scott said. "What kid is going to believe that their parents are abusing them?"
Before any one of them could said something else, a Neutrino slammed its hand through the door, startling them. "Ah! Neutrinos!" Briana said.
They quickly ran for the window as the Neutrinos busted down the empty door. Just as the Neutrinos started firing at them, Raphael opened the window open and they all dove out the window, screaming as they all fell before slamming onto the hard ground and into a hallway with multiple doors on both sides.
"Sorry about the hard drop. Had to get you guys out of there fast."
They pushed themselves back up onto his feet and looked around the room. "What the heck?" Natalie asked.
"Uh, I don't remember this place." Briana commented.
"It's not a memory, it's his subconscious. I lost track of him when he slippedโ"
"April!" Leonardo called. "April, we can't hear you!"
"Did the only person who knows where we're going just vanish!?" Raphael questioned. "Cause if she did, we are totally screwed!"
"What's behind those doors?" Eclipse asked.
"They might lead to other memories of his, but if he's hiding in one of them, it'd take us forever to find him." Donatello said.
"We don't have time to look in all of them. We have to find Henry before the Neutrinos do." Leonardo said.
"Well, lucky for us," Derek said as his nose pricked after he smelled the air. "We don't have to. I got his scent."
"Me too," Scott said, before he and Derek took off. "Come on!" Instantly, the five mutant turtles, Natalie, and Briana took off running after them.
๐๐๐
HENRY WAS STANDING within the familiar dojo that was back at the lair. His ears pricked at a sound behind him and he turned around to come face-to-face with himself.
"Hey, Henry." The other him greets. "We need to talk."
Henry raised an eyebrow. "Alright, I'm already on the lookout fromโ whatever those things are and the last thing I need right now is a fight with himself. I'm busy."
The other Henry ignored him and continued. "Act all serious if you want, but you can't lie to me. I know the truth. I know how worthless you feelโ how you looked into a mirror and hate what you see because you're the reason why your parents were never around."
Henry rolled his eyes. "Whatever you say, pal. It's not going to work."
"Of course it is. I'm you."
"Last time I checked, this is my mind and all I have to do to make you go bye-bye is snap my fingers." Henry snaps his fingers but nothing happens, making his face expression dropped.
"I'm not going anywhereโ neither of us are," the other Henry said. "Like I say... we need to talk." The two of them start to circle each other. "I mean, you made that deal with Jake to bring Leonardo back exchange to become his little apprenticeโ his puppet. Talk about a low self-esteem. Guess it's not a life worth saving now, is it?"
"Wake up, Henry. Wake up." He muttered to himself.
"I mean, outside of your little family here, you got nothing," the other Henry said as they stop and stand across from each other. "Your own little sister hasn't talk to you since you both confronted your parentsโ well, from before the Earth blew up."
"Shut up," Henry said. "That's not true."
"No? What are the things you want? What are the things that you dream? I mean, you weren't ever a kid. All you know how to do is follow mommy's and daddy's orders. Do you even have an original thought?"
Henry rolled his eyes as he scoffed.
"No, no, all there is, 'take care of Piper. Watch out for your little sister, Henry!' And then, you met your little girlfriend and her family and you added another one. 'Watch out for Leo, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Clips, and Briana!'" The other Henry taunted. "Curious, can you hear your parents' voices in your head? I bet you can."
"Just shut up." Henry said again, trying not to get angry.
"I mean, think about it. All your parents ever didโ well, your mother especially, was boss you around or made you grow up into the adult too fast. But Piper... you protected her, right? You couldn't let your dear baby sister know that your parents fought every night or that they were never around so, you raised her yourself."
"I mean it, shut up," Henry glared at himself. "I'm getting angry."
"And then, there's Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, Eclipse, and Briana," the other Henry continued with a smirk. "You might've told them pieces and bits when you were kids but not everything. At least, not what it was really like. After all, you always have to make sure that they're safe and protected, right? But hey, at least Master Splinter or even Zane's parents cared about you a bit more than your own parents ever did."
"Shut up." Henry ordered.
"Your parentsโ your mother knew who you really are. A good little boy who does exactly what he's told. Mommy's blunt little instrument, huh? If your parents didn't care enough to do their jobs of being there, why would they care if you became Jake's apprentice? Why should you?"
"I SAID SHUT UP!" Henry snapped, pushing his other self and knocking him into the tree. "Fine, it's true, my parents were never there when I needed them!"
The other Henry tried to push himself up, but Henry punches him and knocks him back against the tree.
"Everything my parents put on me about taking care of Piper, protecting herโ that was their job, not mine! They're the ones who couldn't be there!" Henry punched the other Henry again before pinning him against the tree as his eyes flashed yellow. "They're the ones who lied to Piper her entire life! They're the ones who couldn't be there for her! I ALWAYS WAS! They're the ones who didn't give a damn about her! I did! I RAISED HER! It wasn't fair! I didn't deserve what they put on me! And I sure as hell don't plan on becoming Jake's puppet!"
Henry then took his claws and used it to scratch across the other Henry's throat, watching as the other him fell to the ground with his hands pressed against his throat before going limp. His claws returned to normal as his eyes did as well while Henry stood there, breathing heavily as he tried to calm down, squeezing his eyes shut tightly.
"Henry!"
At the familiar voices, Henry reopened his eyes and spun around to find the others running into the dojo.
"Oh, finally!" Henry said. "Man, am I glad to see you guys!"
The moment that they reached him, Michelangelo had immediately threw his arms around his neck, tackling him in a hug that took Henry by surprise.
"Henry, bro! I didn't mean for this to happen! I'm sorry!"
"Whoa, don't worry, Mikey," Henry said, patting his shell. "You're fine, I know you didn't."
But when the two pulled away, a Neutrino blade sliced through the air right in front of them, making them scream. They all darted away as the Neutrinos entered the dojo.
Leonardo drew one of his swords and used it to deflect their lasers, but he ended catching one laser in his left side that made him fell onto the ground.
"Leo!"
"Still can't get through their armor!" Eclipse snapped.
"It's not just armor. They're not created entirely out of physical matter, they're partly mental too," Donatello said as Leonardo forced himself onto his knees, clutching his side. "Like us!"
"Then, we need an inside advantage to level the playing field." Raphael stated.
Briana felt her eyes widened. "We already have one," she said as she turned to face him. "Henry."
"Me?" Henry questioned as they all turned to look at him. "Why are you guys looking at me?"
"We're in your mind, Henry," Scott said. "This is your turf, not theirs."
"In here, you're the king," Donatello said. "You're the alpha."
"They can't beat what they don't know," Briana said. "It's your mind, Henry, and that means you can make anything happen here."
"Yeah! You can show those Neutrinos who's the boss here." Derek said.
"And you won't be doing it alone cause we're here." Natalie added.
Leonardo gave his older brother a soft smile. "You're always protecting us and saving us, and now it's our turn to do the same for you. You can do this," he gave his brother a small, teasingly smirk. "It's like I told you back at the farmhouse: looks like it's my turn to save you."
Eclipse took his hand into hers. "You don't have to be afraid anymore, Henry. You're not alone and you never will be because we're right here with you."
Raphael swung his arm around his brother's shoulder, lightly punching it. "You can help us beat those jerks. Let your mind rip."
Henry stared at each one of them while they grinned at him. Then, Henry couldn't help but smirk lightly, feeling a wave of determination rush through him.
"Let's do this."
๐๐๐
"HEY, NEUTRINOS!" HENRY shouted, gaining their attention. He smirked as he stood at the entrance of the lair. "Looking for me?"
Roaring echoed through the air as the five mutant turtles and Briana dressed in their vision suits came through, riding various mutants. Natalie had a black cloak over her clothes with a bow and arrow as her weapon while both Derek and Scott had their sharp teeth and claws at the ready, their eyes glowing yellow.
"Get them!" Leonardo shouted.
They slammed into the Neutrinos. Eclipse leapt at one of them as she brought her kamas down onto it, smirking a bit when her kamas cut through the armor. Another Neutrino aimed its blaster at Briana, but the girl leapt up and landed behind it, plunging its back with her katana. She pulled her katana blade out and smirked when the Neutrino fell to the floor.
A quick flash of realization crossed over Henry's face before he whistled for reinforcements. Then, he couldn't help but smirk when a giant brownish-reddish furred wolf stepped into the lair, its yellow eyes looking up to meet Henry's eyes, which flashed yellow in recognitionโ recognizing the wolf as himself.
Then, when the Neutrinos were thrown onto the ground in front of the wolf, the brownish-reddish wolf growled, snarling its sharp teeth at them before leaping at the Neutrinosโ and even managing to tear off the arm on one of the Neutrinos.
"The party's over, guys." Henry clenched his right fist with a smirk, getting to punch the Neutrinos. "You don't have to go home," the brownish-reddish wolf backed up. "But you can't stay here!" Then, Henry threw his fist forward, slamming it into the Neutrinos and due to his super strength, the Neutrinos were sent flying back through the door, which slammed shut and exploded. "Yes!"
With wide grins on their faces, the others all ran over to Henry, enveloping him in a giant hug with cheers leaving their lips.
"Alright, you did it, Henry!"
"Henry for the win!"
"Awesome job, Henry!"
"That was incredible!"
"Let's hear it for the alpha!"
"Booyakasha!"
๐๐๐
EVERYONE GROANED AS they all woke up, groggily and rubbing their heads.
"Why do I feel like I just had the craziest dream ever?" Henry said, putting his hands to his head.
"It wasn't a dream, dude." Zane responded.
Fugitoid nodded. "The Neutrinos are very real, sent to rob your mind by Belebome."
"WHAT!?" Henry shouted. "You're telling me that was real!?" He pulled the tube off his head. "What, and that stupid, fat alien that tried to steal from us did it!?" A tiny, familiar craft flew by in front of him and Henry gave out an animalistic growl, snatching the tiny craft between his fingers. "You little motherโ" he stormed off.
Raphael smirked. "Aw, look at that. The big wolf's angry." He said teasingly.
"Take that!" They heard him shout, followed by a thud.
๐๐๐
"โNINJA GANG IS hiding," Belebome finished whatever conversation he was having over his communicator. Henry, who took the lead in confronting, slammed his foot down on the table as he glared down at the alien. However, Henry wasn't the only one glaring at him as everyone was, including Kaz, April, Casey, Zane, Mara, Natalie, and Briana. None of them cared about the "No Terran allowed" ruleโ not when Belebome had gone after one of their own. "Um, I'll call you right back." He shut off his communicator. "Oh, hey, fellas! Can I interest y'all in some Vanarian muffins? They're still warm!"
Henry, whose eyes were glowing yellow, snarled his sharp teeth at the alien and smacked the tray out of his hand. "The only thing I wantโ and the only thing saving your life right now is the drive, so hand it over!" He snapped.
"You idiots are gonna take on the whole Triceraton army?" Belebome questioned. "Heh! You're lucky I'm such a nice guy." He tossed the drive to Henry, who caught it.
"I'll be taking that Vanarian muffin too," Michelangelo said, taking the muffin. He quickly ate it and then burped in the alien's face, making the alien collapsed on the table.
"Serves him right." Kaz stated.
"Nice one, Mikey." Mara said with a smirk, giving him a thumbs-up.
"Thanks, guys. That means a lot to me." Michelangelo said proudly.
Henry turned around to face them with a smirk, holding up the drive. "Who's ready to bust some Dino-heads?"
"Hell, yeah! Let's do it!" Raphael said.
"You gonna say it, Mikey?" April asked.
"You bet." Michelangelo said with a smirk as everyone stood there proudly. "BOOYAKASHA!"
๐๐๐
A FEW MINUTES later, everyone was back on the ship and looking into the information that was on the drive, Henry was on his way back to the bridge from the rec room when he came across Natalie, who was just leaving the bridge.
"Oh, I was about to go look for you." Natalie admitted. "I think the others might still be a bit worried about you after what happened."
"Yeah, I, uh, I can see why," Henry said before pursing his lips together as the awkwardness filled in between them. "I'm okay though."
"Right," Natalie said softly. "Well, uh, at least you're okay."
She was about to turn around to leave but Henry stopped her when he called out. "Natalie, wait."
Natalie turned around to face him, a confused look on her face. "What is it?"
"I..." Henry started before he took a deep breath. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry."
"About what?"
"You know what."
It was then where Natalie remembered what she had told Scott when the group had been on the last planet, searching for the first piece of the black hole generator.
"Because being a shapeshifter doesn't do anything but ruin your life! My life was perfect until the full moon and the stupid wolf inside of me came out and because of that, I attacked my family! They got sent to the hospital because of me and because of that, my parents called me a freak, a monster, an abomination!"
Natalie rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "Oh, right, that," she said. "Don't worry about it, it's fine. We were all just angry because of that dumb planet."
"I'm serious, Natalie," Henry said. "I'm sorry about your family, but... your parents were still wrong to call you that."
"You sure?" Natalie questioned jokingly, clearly trying to hide how she actually felt about it. "I mean, I did sent them to the hospital and put my own sister into a coma."
"It was the full moon, Natalie," Henry said. "You weren't in control. Besides, you didn't even know about being half-wolf till right then."
Natalie stayed quiet for a while before she spoke up again. "Is that how you felt too? When you found out?"
"Honestly?" Henry admitted. "For a while, yeah. I was terrified and a part of me still is."
"You are? But you look liked you could control it pretty well."
"Barely," Henry said. "Daniel only showed me the basics and how it was easier to control it through anger. Yeah, maybe it might be helpful, but I still worry about losing control."
Natalie gave him a small, genuine smile. "Guess we both have things that we have to work on."
"I guess so." Henry said, returning the smile to his half-sister.
"Hey, what's going on here, cuzs?"
The two looked over to see Derek and Scott walking over to the two. "What are you doing here?" Henry asked.
"Same as Natalie here, we wanted to check on you," Scott said. "Especially after what we saw while we were in your mind."
Henry raised an eyebrow. "What did you guys see?"
"A whole lot of reasons as to why yourโ"
Derek didn't get to finish his sentence because Scott punched his shoulder as he and Natalie glared at him.
"What?" Henry questioned.
"Nothing, don't worry about it, just..." Scott started before he trailed off for a second. "Just that you didn't deserve itโ any of it."
Henry blinked, a bit confused but he had a small feeling he knew what Scott was talking about.
"Thanks, I guess?" Henry said before he shook his head. "You know, I gotta admit, I was a bit wary of you two joining us since you were technically helping David try to kill me, but now... I guess you two are alright."
"Yeah, well, we could say the same about you," Derek admitted. "Plus, someone has to try to keep the dumb ones on this ship from dying."
"Mikey and Casey aren't dumb, Derek."
"Sure, whatever you say," Derek said. "Good luck changing my mind on that."
Henry didn't know why but for the first time since he's met them, he couldn't help but let the faintest hint of a smile come across his face because for some reason, he seemed to enjoy having them around.
"Henry Hart. Our whole lives, he's been there for us and not once did he ever stopped making sure that we were safe and protected. But after seeing just how much he went through, you can bet that we were going to make sure that he always had us right by his side."
