"You know the saying 'be careful what you wish for?' Yeah, that saying definitely has some truth to it."
THE FIVE MUTANT turtles, Henry, and Briana dropped down into the middle of a dojo, ninja mode as they scooped out the area. Raphael looked around the area. "I don't know. Looks empty, guys."
"We're not alone though," Henry said as his ears twitched before pulling out his twin swords. "They're watching us."
As if it was on cue, something slammed into Raphael and tackled him away. "Razar!" Michelangelo yelled as his brother was slammed into the wall.
The mutant dog laughed, throwing the red masked mutant turtle aside, but the hothead flipped back onto his feet.
"That makes two of us."
Eclipse jumped out of the way as DogPound threw a punch.
"DogPound?" Donatello questioned in bewilderment.
The lights behind them turned on, revealing the silhouettes of the two mutants. They disappeared and instead, one of a man stood in their place as they all turned around to look behind them.
"Chris Bradford Fact #48: Chris Bradford always carries around four weapons of mass destruction: his arms and his legs."
He ran from behind the dividers and lunged at Donatello, delivering a kick to his stomach.
"Oh, snap! Chris Bradford!" Michelangelo yelled.
"Hiyah!" Bradford stood tall as his mutant counterparts moved in beside him.
"All three of them, at the same time," Briana said. "Cool!"
Razar attacked first, pouncing at them. They scattered and Leonardo used both of his katanas to block Razar's claws. Raphael ran at DogPound, punching him multiple times.
"Bring it, DogPound!"
DogPound got a hold of Raphael by the torso and slammed him to the ground.
"Booyakasha!" Michelangelo shouted, jumping at Bradford, leg extended for a kick. Bradford smirked and blocked his foot with his arm, sending a punch to his gut and then an uppercut, kicking him away.
"Don't hold back, guys!" Leonardo said, shoving Razar. He moved his swords to his sides and rolled underneath Razar as he went to grab him. Eclipse sprang into the fight and jumped at Razar, bringing her kamas for the finishing move.
Donatello spun his staff around and jumped up, swinging for DogPound, only to hit the ground as DogPound moved back and away. Donatello landed in a crouch and Henry placed his twin swords away and glanced down at his handsโ he hesitated a second before he shook his head and watched as his fingernails turned into his claws. Then, Henry leapt at the mutant dog, using his claws to slice across the mutant dog's head and DogPound fell to the ground, defeated.
Bradford did a high kick, transitioning to a low spin kick. Michelangelo dodged both and when Bradford went for a punch, Michelangelo turned his shell to him and his fist made contact with it. Bradford held his hand in pain and Briana leapt at him, kicking him into his office and knocking him out.
The seven teens placed their weapons away while Henry let his claws retracted, turning back to normal as the three Bradfords and the dojo faded away, replaced by a white room with glowing lines down the walls.
"Not bad... for holograms." Eclipse stated.
"Pretty cool, right?" April asked as they walked out of the holo-trainer room. "Three Bradfords for the price of one holo-trainer."
"It was incredible, April!" Donatello responded. "Solid holograms. Ingenious!"
Raphael shrugged. "Eh, it was a little soft. Maybe you could dial it up next time."
"I can program a rematch where your opponents actually break bones if you'd like, Raphael." Fugitoid suggested with a beep.
Raphael stared for a moment. "Eh, next time."
Michelangelo had gone over to the thinkโfood machine where Casey, Mara, and Derek were sitting. It opened up and a large wire came out with a suction cup-looking thing at the end. The cup placed itself in the center of Casey's forehead and he closed his heads to concentrate.
"My mighty mental powers command a giant double meat all meat burger meal!"
A small light blinked for a moment before it flashed and out came exactly what Casey had said, earning a wide smile.
A tube then placed itself in the center of Mara's forehead and she closed her eyes to concentrate as well.
"I command a double meat cheeseburger meal!"
A small light blinked again before it flashed and out came exactly what Mara had said, earning a smirk.
"Dude, dudette, I love the think-a-food machine," Michelangelo said. "It's, like, way less than thirty minutes or less." A tube placed itself on the center of his head and he concentrated on what he wanted. The tube retracted and the mess of food he'd asked appeared before him.
Casey looked over to see what he'd ordered and looked disgusted. "Ugh. What is wrong with you?"
Derek shrugged. "I've seen worse." The tube placed itself in the center of his head and he closed his eyes to concentrate. He opened his eyes when the tube retracted and the food he had asked for appeared before him.
Mara looked over and made a disgusted face upon seeing the raw deer meat. "I can't tell which is worse. Mikey's or yours?"
"Were you satisfied with the holo-training session, Leonardo, Henry?" Fugitoid asked, walking over to where the two had been standing.
"Yeah, Fugitoid, it was cool and all," Leonardo responded. "It's just, we have six months to find the pieces of the black hole device before the Triceratons find them."
"Yeah, we're still tracking the mothership, right?" Henry added.
Fugitoid paused for a moment. "...Okay, okay! Big oops! I may have, possibly, lost the Triceratons." He pressed his fingers together nervously, looking guilty.
"What!?" Everyone exclaimed.
"What kind of cyborg are you?" Casey asked.
Before the white robot could answer, an alarm started going off, catching their attention. "A distress signal!" Donatello exclaimed.
They quickly ran back to the bridge and got into their respective stations.
"Is it the Triceratons?" Zane asked.
Fugitoid shook his head. "No. The signal's coming from this ship." He pinpointed the location of a wrecked ship ahead.
"Any survivors?" Henry asked, looking out at the ship.
"Hard to tell, Captain," Donatello said, typing into a console. "Getting lots of strange interference."
"Space rescue mission? That is so heavy metal," Casey slid into view and did the air guitar motion.
"It looks old," Natalie says. "Who knows how long it's been there."
"Only way to find out is to board." Scott said.
"Suit up, people." Leonardo ordered.
Once they got to the wreckage of the ship, they saw how big it really was. "Look at the size of this," Kaz said as they floated inside, looking around. "Asteroid damage?"
"I don't think so." Donatello and the others activated their grav-boots as he examined the opening of the wreckage. "The hole was blasted from the inside out." He shined a light from his scanner to show off the damage and get a read on the ship. "Strange." He took the lead, lighting the way with his staff.
"Maybe they were attacked from the inside," Raphael suggested. "Or maybe the crew did it." He screamed, startled, and fell back to the floor upon seeing a body in spacesuit hanging right in front of them.
"Sadly, there is no one left." Fugitoid's voice came over the comms. "My sensors detect nothing alive on board that ship."
Donatello lifted his staff, illuminating the dead bodies in spacesuits hanging from the wires of the ship above them.
"So eerie," April said. "It's like a horror movie waiting to happen. I don't even have to be psychic to get a bad feeling about this place."
Casey shoved past her, flying on his back with his hands behind his head. "I have a bad feeling, too. Like, this is totally boring! I wish something not boring would happen."
"No!" Derek suddenly shouted. "Are you nuts!? You don't say the wish word on something like this! You just jinxed us now!"
"I got it! I bet they blew up the ship because of Squirrelanoids!" Michelangelo said.
"Squirrelanoids?" Scott and Natalie questioned in unison.
"Don't ask," Eclipse said. "And that's not possible, Mikey. Squirrelanoids are mutants, not aliens."
"That idea's so stupid it makes my head blow up." Raphael added, crossing his arms as he stared at his brother.
"What's this?"
Henry's ears had pricked at Casey's voice and they all walked over to see what he'd found.
April placed her hand on his shoulders, startling him and lifting the object he found out of reach. She laughed. "What are you so afraid of there, scaredy cat? What do you got there, Casey?"
"It's mine!" Casey said, turning away from them and holding it close.
Henry's ears twitched at a buzzing sound and he noticed that Scott, Derek, and Natalie heard it too as they turned to notice a lone corpse floating in the middle of the ship, helmet light flickering on and off. Henry could feel the wolf inside of him growing uneasy about this, feeling on edge by it.
"Hello?" Zane called cautiously.
The light continued to flicker until it died. Then, it flashed back on and the corpse came to life, looking at them with a roar. They all screamed.
Casey shoved Donatello forward and the purple masked mutant turtle shone his staff's light around the wreckage, showing the entire alien crew brought back to life.
"Astro-zombies?" Casey exclaimed. "Wicked!"
"No! Not wicked, you idiot!" Derek yelled. "I told you, you jinxed us!"
"We gotta get out of here!" Leonardo pulled out his swords and ran at the zombies.
The others followed and Michelangelo yell out when one of the zombies had grabbed onto him. Henry turned off his grav-boots and floated over, slicing its head off and kicking its body away.
"You're not getting my brain, zombie!" Michelangelo backed away. More came out of the ship to grab him, making him scream more.
"It would help if you had some!" Raphael yelled, finishing off one zombie. He flew over, stomping his foot in the zombie's helmet and crushing it. "Aw, snap! Chalk two up for Raph!"
Casey laughed, batting a helmet around with his hockey stick like a puck as he ran, body-checking two zombies in his way. "Goongala!" He shouted, slamming his stick into the helmet and sending it flying to the zombies blocking the way out.
A zombie caught it and the inside lit up, revealing the photon pucks Casey had placed inside. The pucks exploded, wiping out the zombies blocking the hole.
With the way clear, they took their chance, jumping out of the wreckage and flying back to the ship. Michelangelo turned back to the wreckage to blow raspberries at the zombies still inside, only to scream upon noticing the zombie hand crawling on him, though he managed to shake it off.
"How odd," Fugitoid said once they were safety back in the bridge of the ship. "There hasn't been an astro-zombie plague in 6,000 years. That empty ship's been beaming out a distress call for decades."
"Well, somebody left behind this cool-looking souvenir," Casey said, tossing up the glowing cube he'd taken and catching it again.
"Impossible. You found a hypercube?" Fugitoid asked, walking over to him.
"A what now?" Scott asked.
"Hypercubes are keys to a higher plane where fifth-dimensional beings dwell." Fugitoid moved in front of Casey and placed his hand on the cube, going to pull it away but Casey resisted. "I'll be keeping this for now and putting it someplace safeโ where it can't be opened!" The white robot pulled so hard that he and Casey went flying, but Casey managed to keep a strong grip on it.
"It belongs to me!" Casey whined.
๐๐๐
AT ONE POINT, Fugitoid managed to take the cube and pull it away as he went to put it someplace safe. In the meanwhile, the others had gathered on the couch to watch an episode of a TV show called Chris Bradford's 2Ruff Krew.
Chris Bradford punched out a wooden board as he narrated the episode's plot. "Evil Ninja has enlisted Fake Master: a trickster and a master of disguise, to destroy us! We've got to find him, before he finds us!"
The scene shifts back to animation as Bradford and his team have just beaten down a small ninja army, along with them was an attractive blonde in Bradford's arms.
"We've run out of enemies to destroy, and none of them were Fake Master." He turned to the girl in his arms. "What should we do, Felicia?"
The girl giggled as they kissed. Lil' Rineo's jaw dropped before Sum Glen covered his eyes as he shook his head.
The two pulled away as Bradford's eyes widened. "You've got... man breath!"
The girl giggled again. "Oh, Chris, you're so tough." She pushed him down. "And kinda stupid." She said as her voice shifted to a deep male one. In cartoon-style, 'Felicia' pulled off her disguise to reveal it was really a man underneath.
"It was me, all along! Fake Master!" He gave an evil laugh as he tossed the suit down.
"Felicia!?" He held the rubber suit close. "For three years, I loved a rubber suit! NOOOO!"
Michelangelo laughed. "I can't believe Chris Bradford had his own show back in the 80s. It's so lame, it's awesome."
"The acting stinks." Natalie comments.
"What do you think, Casey?" Raphael blinked at the lack of response, looking around the room. "Casey?"
"You don't think he...?" Briana trailed off.
Kaz sighed. "Knowing Casey, he did."
They all went down into the bowels of the ship where Fugitoid had taken the cube to lock away and on the way there, they met up with the robot and explained that Casey had snuck off. They opened the door to the engine room to find Casey flat on his butt on the walkway.
"Casey!" Donatello scolded. "What are you doing with that thing? The professor said that thing was extremely dangerous."
Casey blinked, looking in front of him. "Huh?" He got back to his feet, hypercube in hands. But then, he quickly hid the cube when Fugitoid walked over.
"It's alright, as long as he hasn't opened it." Fugitoid grabbed the cube from Casey, quickly taking notice of the empty form. "Oh, it is extremely open."
A tentacle lowered between the two, tapping the robot on the shoulder. When Fugitoid went to look, the tentacle went around and tapped his other shoulder. When Fugitoid finally looked, it smacked him in the head and retreated back to the ceiling.
Everyone looked up to see a weird creature thing hanging on the ceiling, bouncing down onto its feet. "Hello, hello, my friends!" It jumped at Mara and kissed her cheek, disappearing before the teenaged girl could punch him. "Good to see ya. Nice to meet cha." He leaned over and shook Casey's hand, then leaned the other way to wave at April before standing in the middle of them, spotlights shining on him as he stood with his arms out. "Let me greet cha. You can call me Wyrm!" Small firework explosions went off around him.
He poofed behind Raphael and started rubbing his shoulders. "Here to make pals happy, help you out." His hands detached themselves from him and started crawling on the red masked mutant turtle, freaking him out and earning a yell of surprise from him. "Give you some love!"
Wyrm poofed above Donatello and held out his arm, flexing for him. "I'm the most powerful Wyrm in ten dimensionsโ" when he flexed, a small volcanic explosion erupted from his muscles and he reappeared beside Michelangelo. "โand all I want to do is grant you three little wishes. Well, technically two, since Casey already made the first wish."
He pulled out a projector screen from who-knew-where and set it up, eyes projecting their adventure with the astro-zombies.
"Like, this is totally boring. I wish something not boring would happen."
"Wait, you sent those zombies at us?" Eclipse asked with a glare.
He held up his hands innocently. "All I did was grant a wish."
Derek blinked before punching Casey's shoulder. "Ow! What was that for!?"
"For being an idiot!" Derek yelled.
"How was I supposed to know someone was listening!?" Casey retorted.
"You don't say the wish word in general for anything!" Derek snapped. "Don't you watch TV!? It always goes wrong in the movies! You jinxed us!"
"Okay, here are the rules." The projector screen vanished as Wyrm began drawing on the air with chalk. "You got two more wishes and you got to share them. We're living in hard, economic times."
"Sounds like you're just cheap." Mara deadpanned.
Michelangelo raised his hand. "Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!"
"You can never make a wish to get more wishes." Wyrm said, answering the unasked question. "Against the rules." Michelangelo groaned. "Last rule: you can never ever wish to hurt a Wyrm."
"So, otherwise, we can wish for anything at all?" Donatello asked. "Wow."
"That's right! So, what's it gonna be?" Wyrm jumped up with his tentacle and lounged in midair while they huddled to decide.
"So, obviously, we'll wish for an endless supply of comic books," Michelangelo said. "Or, oh, a space surfboard! Yes!"
"Mikey, we got to think about this seriously," Henry said. "And think it through. I have a bad feeling about this guy."
"The first wish has gotta be save Earth, right? Stop the Triceratons!" Raphael said.
"Does that count as two wishes?" Leonardo asked.
"Then, we'll be careful with our wording," Kaz said. "Let's just wish the black hole generator out of existence."
"Or we can wish that the kraang were never on Earth," Mara answered. "They're the only reason why the Triceratons want to destroy Earth in the first place."
"We could wish for universal peace throughout the galaxy," April suggested. "That would cover about everything, right?"
"I'm with April on that one." Briana said.
"How about something important, like Casey Jones becomes the ultimate super hero in the universe," Casey suggested.
Derek felt his right eye twitched as the wolf inside of him growled in annoyance. "Are you... can you not take anything serious for once!? God, sometimes I wish you weren't such a dumbass!" His eyes widened when he realized what he said. "Oh, no."
"Derek!" Henry scolded.
Scott pinched the bridge of his nose as he mumbled. "My brother's an idiot."
Suddenly, a bright light engulfed Casey and everyone covered their eyes while Wyrm started laughing. The light quickly died down and everyone opened their eyes to see that Casey's skin was now an electric blue, his eyes glowing pure white.
"Whoa," Casey started. "I can see everything. Every molecule. Every electron. I've just counted the total amount of quadratic number fields with unique factorization. I am the dopest being in all of reality!"
Derek paled. "Aw, crap. What did I do?"
Scott turned towards his older brother and punched him in the nose, not caring if he broke it with his super strength.
"Ow!" Derek yelled, holding his nose as he glared at his brother. "What was that for!?"
"For being an even bigger dumbass!" Scott exclaimed. "God, how are you the older one?"
"You just broke my nose!"
Scott rolled his eyes at him. "Oh, relax, you big baby. You'll heal in a matter of seconds."
"It's okay, we still have the third wish," Briana reminded. "We can fix everything."
Wyrm appeared beside her. "Of course you can! You just need to wish. So, what's it gonna be?" Nobody said anything as they traded looks. "What's wrong? You scared of a teeny wish?"
"Casey being smarter now? Pretty sure, yeah." Natalie commented with a snort.
Henry held up a hand towards Wyrm. "Hold up. Before we make any more wishes, we're gonna discuss this carefully."
"You can have all the power in the universe, but you want to discuss it?" Wyrm snapped, disappearing in a puff of smoke.
They traded looks again, losing their balance and falling to the floor as the ship slammed into something.
Fugitoid pushed himself up. "We've hit something."
They ran out to the bridge, gasping at the strange image in the window.
"The stars! They're gone!" Zane called out.
Rather seeing the stars or the planets outside the window, there were wide, glowing lines and something behind them.
"Is it me, or does that look familiar?" Eclipse asked.
Casey stared down at the empty hypercube and lifted it to look inside. "Our spaceship..."
Raphael and Michelangelo screamed as Casey's eye appeared onscreen. "Giant eyeball!"
Casey lowered the cube. "We're somehow trapped both inside and outside the hypercube simultaneously in a fifth-dimensional prison."
"I find that being inside a fifth-dimensional prison really focuses the mind," Wyrm said, sitting on one of the consoles. "Now, make a wish!"
Henry scoffed as he glared at Wyrm, crossing his arms over his chest. "You are so insisting on us making a wish. What the hell is it that you're up to because it's certainly not to help us?"
Wyrm poofed in front him and zoomed in close to his face. "You can wish for anything you want! Become immortal or bring people back to life! All you gotta do is make your mind up and make a wish!"
The wolf inside of him growled angrily, not seemingly to enjoy how close Wyrm was to his face as Henry's eyes flashed yellow and the teenaged boy pushed Wyrm away. "And if we don't?" He questioned threateningly, as if he was just waiting for the Wyrm to make the first move.
"One moment, please," Fugitoid said, opening up a holographic screen. "Our friend Wyrm here is one of the three reality-bending Creators of Chaos. They were put into fifth-dimensional prisons millennia ago and scattered through the cosmos."
Electricity struck the robot, making him scream before he collapsed to the floor.
"Fugitoid!"
"Granting all three wishes... frees the Wyrm of his prison forever."
They all took out their weapons.
"Forget it, Wyrm," Raphael snapped. "You'll never get a third wish out of us!"
Wyrm stared at them and started laughing manically as they jumped at him. He used his magic to shoot lightning at them, making them all go limp. "Maybe this will knock some sense into yez." Wyrm spun them into a giant ball and rolled them around the wall of the ship before hitting them with a baseball bat, breaking them apart and sending them flying into the wall and floor.
Wyrm turned his hand into a giant mallet, raising it high in the air. "Wyrm feels like causing a little chaos!" He slammed it into Scott when the half-wolf mutant jumped at him, flattening him to the floor. "Know what I'm saying?" He glanced behind him to see Henry with his twin swords out leaping at him, only to turn into a trampoline and throw him backwards.
"Casey, you're super smart now, right?" Mara questioned. "Got any bright ideas, Jones?"
"We just have to think of a way to use our last wish to set things right." Zane said.
"Arr, Cap'n Wyrm knows how to deal with a mutiny! Why even bother fighting me, you dweebs? I'm too tough for ya!" Wyrm bounced around them and Raphael tackled him to the ground, pinning his body while Leonardo sliced the top of Wyrm's head off.
Wyrm's tongue suddenly latched itself around his face, the body slowly beginning to eat him whole. But then, Wyrmโ with Leonardo still insideโ turned into a rocket and shot around the ship, slamming into Eclipse and Briana.
"Okay, this guy is annoying me now..." Eclipse muttered from where the three teens had fallen onto the ground after Wyrm vanished.
Kaz groaned in annoyance, slamming his fist into the floor. "Ugh! I wish I had an anti-Wyrm laser cannon!"
Everyone snapped their attention to him.
A light appeared above him, forming into a large gun and dropping into his hands. Kaz blinked. "Huh?" A smirk formed on his face. "Ha!" He aimed it at Wyrm, who quickly vanished and reappeared in front of him.
"Oh, no! Please!" Kaz pulled the trigger and the gun powered up. "Don't blast me! I know I was a little rude. A little wacky. A little off the walls!" Wyrm started crying. "I'm so sorry!"
"Not buying it, Wyrm," Kaz retorted. "Now, say goodnight!" He fired the cannon, only for it to shoot out a red flag with the word 'bang' written across it instead of a laser. "WHAT!? No! That's not fair, you stupid alien! I made a freaking wish!"
"Of course it's fair," Wyrm smirked. "Remember? Last rule." He held up a puppet he got from who-knew-where and started making it talk. "You can never ever make a wish to hurt a Wyrm."
Kaz growled angrily as he clenched his fists, steam started to come off of him as if his body could burst into flames. "You stupid piece of aโ I'm gonna take that puppet and shove it down your throat!"
The ship started shaking and Wyrm laughed as the hypercube lifted into the air. Wyrm grabbed it and wrapped his tentacle around Fugitoid, shocking him so the robot turned on with a beep.
"And now the Wyrm is free to rule the cosmos," the robot said.
Wyrm dropped the hypercube onto the floor. "Yeah, that's the fun part! Come on." He slammed his foot onto the cube, shattering it. "I'll show you!" The cube around the ship shattered, the stars reappearing through the window. "Space is much too crowded." He tapped a conductor's baton on Fugitoid's head before tossing him aside. "We're gonna do some space cleaning!" He started waving the baton, blowing up planets left and right.
Everyone tried to make one last-charge at him but Wyrm pointed his baton at them, causing them to stop before tossing them towards Casey, who just stood there as if he wasn't even fazed by anything that was going on.
"DAMN IT!" Kaz said angrily, punching the wall. "Why did I make that stupid wish!?"
"You gave into your desperation, that is why." Casey said simply.
Kaz glared at him. "You might be smarter now, but I'm about to kick your ass if you don't come up with something to do."
"There's nothing we can do, Kaz," Casey responded. "I've calculated 980,000 different scenarios and they all end with Wyrm ruling the cosmos." He walked past them to stand between them and Wyrm. "Wyrm is the most powerful being in reality, so it makes perfect sense for me, the most intelligent being in the universe, to join him."
"Casey, what are you doing?" April questioned.
"The only smart thing, April. Teaming up with Wyrm." Casey smirked as Wyrm crept toward them and swallowed all of them whole.
The five mutant turtles, Henry, and Briana were suddenly in a hockey rink, wearing helmets and holding hockey sticks. A blue light turned on, lighting up the ice rink.
"Time to play, fellas!" They looked up as more lights turned on to see multiple versions of Casey. They started playing hockey, outmatching the five mutant turtles, Henry, and Briana and ending up with them sliding into the net. Wyrm watched from behind the glass, holding April, Derek, Scott, Natalie, Zane, Mara, and Kaz captive.
The scene changed, various Caseys now chasing them through the streets of New York. Soon enough, they ended up cornered by the ones in vehicles that came right at them and they screamed, waiting for the impact that never came.
"Huh?"
"See? My wishes work great," Wyrm said as they were all back on the ship's bridge. "Look what you could have had." He wrapped an arm around Casey's shoulders. "I'll tell you what, smart guy. You and I will rule the universe together."
They fist-bumped. "Sa-wa-wa-weet."
"I know Kaz say he was gonna do it but... now, I'm gonna kick your ass, Jones!" Mara snapped.
Wyrm appeared behind him. "First, I need a little proof of your loyalty. Destroy your old friends!"
"I agree, Wyrmy," Casey said, earning gasps from the others. "Let's squish them."
"Casey... how could you?" Zane whispered in disbelief.
"But if I'm gonna take them out once and for all, I'm gonna need a wish."
Wyrm reappeared between him and the others. "Hmm. Fine." He disappeared and reappeared beside him. "You get a wish bonus!" He laughed.
"I wish..." Casey stopped advancing towards the others as he suddenly turned to Wyrm, pointing a finger at him. "We never found that stupid hypercube in the first place!"
"WHAT!?" Wyrm shouted. "Youโ y-y-y-y-you can't wish that!"
They all started cheering.
"Okay, fine, I take it back," Derek admitted. "Maybe you're not a dumbass."
"No, that's you." Scott told him, earning a glare from his brother.
"Casey, you're a genius!" Briana said.
"Butโ butโ butโ if you never found the cube, then none of this ever happened," Wyrm panicked. "Andโandโ" he wailed.
"Rules are rules, Wyrm," Henry said. "You granted him a wish."
"And now, you got to make it!" Casey finished with a smirk.
"No, no, no, no! Yourโ yโ your wish is mโmy c-c-c-command! No!"
๐๐๐
"SO EERIE," APRIL said. "It's like a horror movie waiting to happen. I don't even have to be psychic to get a bad feeling about this place."
Casey shoved past her, flying on his back with his hands behind his head. "I have a bad feeling, too. Like, this is totally boring! I wish someโ"
"No!" Zane snapped suddenly. "Don't you dare wish for anything! I don't know why, but don't say a word!"
Casey blinked. "Okay, Zaney, what's the big deal? Man."
Fugitoid's voice came over the comms. "My sensors detect nothing left alive on that ship. You should all return immediately. I believe I have a lead on the Triceraton mothership."
They started walking back toward the entrance of the wreck and as they got there and started flying back toward the ship, Henry paused for a second, his ears pricking at a sound. He looked back into the dark wreckage of the ship.
"Hen?" Eclipse asked, grabbing his hand as he snapped back to reality. "You good there?"
"Yeah, I thought I heard..." Henry said, looking confused as he looked over at Derek, Scott, and Natalie. "Did you guys hear anything?"
"Hm?" They stopped and looked at him.
"What was it?" Eclipse asked.
Henry took one last look into the dark wreckage of the ship as he blinked before shaking his head, turning away from it. "Ah, don't worry. We were probably here for too long. I thought I had this weird sense of deja-vu."
"Wishes might seem great at the moment, but they're also pretty tricky. And just like the saying goes: be careful what you wish for."
