A/N: Eclipse belongs to GeekyCookie1. Mara and Zane belongs to MariChat3.
Before I start, I will said this: I am not a Raph x Mona Lisa shipper since in my opinion, that couple has always felt rushed to me with no chemistry whatsoever.
So, if anyone is a shipper of Raph x Mona Lisa, enjoy them while you can because the moment I get to the Evil of Dregg episode, that ship will not be continuing from there as Raphael will end up with somebody else, whose OC will belong to MayanTheSerpentine.
Enjoy!
"Now, we might've made some enemies on the first day of being in space but, we also made some allies too."
THE SHIP SHOOK as one of the ships surrounding them shot at them.
"Those ships! They're Triceratons!" Leonardo said.
"No kidding!" Raphael responded. The ship shook again as it was hit. "And there's, like, a gajillion of them!"
"Professor, what do we do?" Donatello asked.
"We take evasive action," Fugitoid responded.
They all screamed, startled, as he started quickly weaving the ship through the Triceraton ones.
"I think we're almost out of this," April said, only for the ship to get hit again.
"Or not!" Mara responded.
The window cracked and the moon they were near got closer at a frightening pace.
"I recommend we take plunging into the lethal, crushing gravity of that gas giant philosophically." Fugitoid stated.
"What is that supposed to mean!?" Derek snapped.
"It means we're all gonna die!"
Everyone screamed, holding onto their consoles as they desperately tried to keep themselves from falling as the ship plunged into a spiral.
"Whoa!" Raphael lost his grip, slamming into the window. "I hate space! I hate it! I really do!"
The rapidly approaching moon was getting even closer to them. "Everyone, brace yourselves!" Henry yelled.
The ship hit something before slamming into the surface of the snow-covered moon.
"Is everyone alright?" The professor asked, reeling his arms and legs back in while everyone else got back to their feet.
"I think we're good." Scott groaned, rubbing his head.
Everyone placed on their helmets and headed out for the snowstorm. Raphael groaned. "Where are we?"
"Whoa," Donatello started, using his staff to scan the moon. "Temperatures on this moon are negative 180 degrees Celsius."
Zane shivered. "So cold, even in this suit. Aren't the turtles gonna freeze?"
"No, their suits permeate a warm, invisible force field, like a second skin," Fugitoid explained. "Cozy, right?"
"Uh, I'm pretty sure my shell froze to my butt." Michelangelo responded.
"What's it look like, Fugitoid?" Leonardo asked, as the robot went to inspect the damage.
"Somewhere between 'probably doomed' and 'unequivocally doomed.'" Fugitoid said.
"Wait, so no power?" Eclipse asked. "We won't be able to charge our suits!"
"And worse, we've only got a couple hours of oxygen and heat left." Briana added.
"Oh, man," Casey groaned. "I was supposed to go out in a blaze of glory, with, giant transforming robots frying me with lasers. Not like this."
"Jeez, Jones, you had your own death played out?" Mara questioned.
"He's Casey," Kaz responded. "Of course he did."
Mara thought about it. "True."
"If you keep yelling, Casey, you're run your oxygen lower even faster," Scott said, the freezing temperature didn't seem to be affect him, Derek, Natalie, or Henry. "As for the heat, we could huddle together, keep the turtles close together."
"How the hell are you not shivering?" Zane questioned.
"It's part of being half-wolf," Scott explained. "Wolves are well-adapt-ed to extremely cold temperatures. Plus, as shapeshifters, our body temperatures is about 110 degrees so we'll be able to withstand severe cold weather. It's how we survive in very hot weather too since our body temperatures makes it hard for our bodies to overheat."
"You know, I'm starting to wish I was part half-wolf now." Mara commented as she shivered.
Casey shivered as well. "Me too."
"No, you don't." Henry and Natalie said in unison, the two half-siblings shared a surprised look before looking away.
"Now, let's see..." Donatello started scanning the area. "Yes! Irrilium metal. Lots of it! About ten kicks away. Ooh, looks like it's refined, too."
"Excellent work, Donatello," Fugitoid responded. "We could use that metal to patch up the ship."
"Lead the way, D!" Michelangelo said.
They all let Donatello take the lead and followed close behind, using Scott's idea to conserve some heat, but the huddling wasn't doing most and some of them were starting to slow down.
"The wind's getting worse... how much farther?" Briana asked, hugging herself tightly.
April had fell onto her knees and Mara helped her get back up onto her feet.
"There: the irrilium is somewhere up on that ice peak." Donatello stated, as they stopped in front of a huge ice mountain.
"Oh, yeah!" Michelangelo cheered, skating past him. "Check me out! Michelangelo on ice!"
"You're using up oxygen too fast, Mikey!" Leonardo said, though he didn't seem to listen.
"What's more important, bro?" Michelangelo asked, sliding to a stop on his knees. "Breathing... or my art?"
"Breathing," Eclipse said seriously.
"Guys?" April called. "Something's not right. Weird vibe alert."
"My sensors suggest we're about to be visited byโ" Fugitoid cut off as a couple of aliens jumped in front of them, one pulling out a sword and aiming it at them.
"Whoa! What the heck?" Casey asked.
"Newtralizers!" Henry exclaimed.
"You downed our ship, dishonored us," the alien wielding the sword snapped. "Now, you will fight us."
"Wait!" Fugitoid yelled, stepping between them. "Wait, wait, wait. We are all honorable beings here. We did not intend to damage your ship. Please, we can help one another in this desperate plight."
"It is true we are all trapped," the taller alien agreed. "Cooperation is survival here. But you are... outworlders."
Raphael walked past the robot over to the two alien. "Listen, sister. We don't want to fight you. You're clearly outnumbered."
"Numbers mean nothing," the alien retorted. "I do not fear you or your friends."
"Look, man!" Leonardo cut in. "It's all good. We're all cool here. I'm offering my hand; put her there, bro!"
But, the reaction that came next from the two aliens was not one that they were expecting.
"What?" The taller alien gasped. "I consider conciliation, and you offer the hand of combat?"
"Battle?" Leonardo repeated, quickly retracting his hand. "No! You don't understand!"
"Attack!"
The female alien charged in, kicking Donatello away and going for Casey, but Raphael went after her. The male jumped at Leonardo, who jumped out of his way and fired his lasers at the male.
"All of you should stop fighting and rationally consider the damage to your faceplates! One crack, and death is imminent." The professor tried to warn, only for the male alien to shove him out of the way.
"Those who dishonor us shall be destroyed!" The female yelled, charging at Eclipse.
"We didn't do anything wrong!" Eclipse called out, blocking the attack with his kamas. "It was just a misunderstanding!"
"I will not be fooled by your trickery!" The female alien yelled, swinging her tail around.
Eclipse jumped out of the way and blocked the attack with her kamas. Then, the female alien knocked her back into the snow before running after Donatello and knocking him down, dodging an attack from Raphael.
"You got some imagination, sweetheart!" Raphael snapped, slicing his sais at her but she dodged.
The male alien grabbed Leonardo and spun around in time to throw him into Henry, knocking the two back.
"Please, everyone," Fugitoid said, trying to calm the situation but got thrown back against the ice by the male alien's tail.
"Booyakasha!" Michelangelo jumped down on top of the male, who caught him and threw him onto the ice.
Kaz used his sword and blocked the male alien's sword, pushing him back. The male alien charged at him again and brought his sword down, but Kaz blocked it with his sword and managed to disarmed him. However, the male alien then used his tail to sweep him from under his feet, sending Kaz to the ground.
"Yo, lizard lips!" Casey called, throwing photon pucks.
April was shooting at the female alien as she took down Donatello, Eclipse, and Raphael. "Hold still, you stupidโ" the female alien threw her back.
"Well, I suppose I'll have to intervene," Fugitoid stated calmly, but then Donatello was thrown at him, tossing them into a wall. "Oh, dear!"
"That's it," Raphael growled. "You're going down." He jumped up onto the ridge, the female alien dodging his jump as he blocked her sword. The female alien managed to land a couple of punches and sent him rolling back into the snow.
"Raph!"
Raphael shook his head with a groan. "Never been hit like that before..." he looked up to see the female alien knock down his brother and sister onto the ground. "It was kinda... nice." He gasped as she started running at him.
"Discussion follows dishonor!" The male alien snapped, knocking Leonardo's sword from his hands and slamming him into Henry, throwing them back into Derek and knocking them all down.
The female alien threw Raphael down onto the ice beside the rest of them.
"I am a pacifist," Fugitoid stated, getting to his feet. "But even pacifists have to stand their ground once in a while." He held out his hands, guns sliding out of his arms and beginning to shoot at the aliens. The two aliens ran to dodge, the female throwing a bladed disc at the robot.
Fugitoid jumped aside, dodging the disc, which embedded in the ice wall behind them. The disc exploded and sent the wall crashing down onto all of them. Fugitoid pulled himself out on top of the pile and the two aliens were nowhere in sight.
"No need to worry! Only a minor inconvenience." The robot started digging through the ice and the others pulled themselves out.
Michelangelo groaned. "We keep getting our shells handed to us."
Donatello checked his suit's power levels. "We got to keep going, not much heat left. We still need to hurry before our oxygen runs out. Come on."
They all started walking again and although the wind wasn't blowing as hard as it was before while they were going up the mountain.
"I've been thinking," Zane started. "I bet those Salamandrians are after the Irrilium, too."
"Another reason to hurry, people." Fugitoid said.
"Hey, Casey, Kaz," Raphael started. "Do you think a turtle can, like, date a newt?"
Both Kaz and Casey blinked at the unexpected question.
"Dude, what?" Casey slapped Raphael's arm, making him stumble back as he started laughing hysterically.
"Raph," Kaz said, a tiny smirk creeping onto his face. "Are you saying what I think you are?"
"I mean, you know, maybe, um, these Salamandrians aren't so bad. Like, the lizard girl is cool."
Leonardo pushed past his brother. "You really are running low on oxygen, Raph. What are you gonna do, ask that giant newt out on a date?"
"Well, I meanโ" Raphael sighed. "I don't know."
"Wow, you really got a crush on that Salamandrian hottie?" Michelangelo asked. "She's, like, bigger, stronger, and probably a better fighter than you."
"Exactly," Raphael responded. "What a woman."
"Maybe we'll bump into her again." Briana teased her brother, a grin on her face.
"Ooh!" Donatello called back, and they quickly ran ahead to catch up with the group. "The Irrilium's not far ahead, and I was right. The metal's completely refined."
"So, what happens if those aliens make it to the Irrilium first?" Derek asked.
"I've got the answer," Casey responded. "We take them down, goongala-style."
"Whoa, hold up," Raphael started. "Let's cut the Salamanders a break. They think we're the bad guys, right? What if we could convince them to work with us, to find that metal stuff together?"
"Forget it, Raph," Leonardo said. "Let's just get that Irrilium."
As the group started walking, nobody seemed to notice how Raphael and Briana snuck away from the group in set of finding the two aliens.
๐๐๐
"LIEUTENANT Y'GYTHBGA, WE are getting close to the Irrilium," the male alien informed. "Rokka, rokka!"
"And by now, those low-grade life forms are surely frozen."
Raphael jumped out of nowhere, alongside with his youngest sister as the two landed on their feet, sliding a few inches away. Raphael had his arms out, trying to look flashy. "Ta-daah! Impressed, right?"
Briana couldn't help but let out a giggle at her brother while the male alien stared with a scowl and the female alien looked somewhat amused. "No, but I respect your tenacity." She pulled out her blaster and aimed it at him, taking a step forward.
Raphael quickly backed up, pulling Briana with him as the two reached the end of the walkway and waving his hands frantically. "Wait! Before you blast us, hold up. Look, we couldโ we could all work together as a team, a unit!"
"Your bravery speaks of a heroic heart, stranger." The male responded.
The female took another step forward. "But you are in our way."
"Come on, we need the Irrilium, you guys need it. So, why not help each other out by working together?" Briana suggested, trying to help her brother out.
But the female alien still fired her blaster. Raphael flinched before noticing that where she fired, the ice around their feet beginning to crack. He pointed at her and yelled, "That's not good teamworโ aaaaaahhhh!" The ice gave way, sending him and Briana plummeting toward the ice below.
Luckily, Briana managed to grab onto the mountain time before reaching a hand out and grabbing Raphael's hand, pulling him up beside her and letting him grab onto the mountain.
"Phew, close one. Thanks, Little Warrior." Raphael said.
"No problem."
The two of them climbed up the mountain, exhausted, only to find the female alien fending off from an ice dragon while the male alien was frozen. Briana rushed forward and tackled the female alien out of the way to avoid a the dragon's aim while Raphael sprang into the fight, jumping on one's face and then off, slamming into another and shattering it to bits. He sprang up from the ground, yelling as its remains fell around him.
The female stared at him as Briana approached her brother, standing next to him before she started to approach the two as well. "Strangers." She held up her arm, her blaster charging up.
"Aw, space apples," Raphael cursed. "Don't shoot! Don't shoot!"
"Come on, we just saved your life!" Briana added.
The female alien shot, though it wasn't at them. The two turned to see an ice dragon that had been climbing over the edge behind him with a hole in its head before it fell down the cliff.
"You truly are a noble creature." The female placed her hands on her hips and leaned close to Raphael, smirking at him.
"My name's, uh... Raphael." He said nervously.
"I am called Y'Gythgba."
"You are called Y'Gyn... Y'gth... Y'gynength... I got an idea. Back on Earth, there's this painting of, like, the most beautiful woman in art and stuff? Um, so how about if I called you... Mona Lisa?"
"As you please, Raphael." She leaned closer, bringing her tail behind him to pull him closer until their helmets touched. "Someday, our noses will meet in the flesh." She smiled and pulled her tail back, letting go of her dazed brother.
Briana cleared her throat, snapping her brother back to reality for a second.
"Oh, uh, this is my baby sister," Raphael introduced. "Briana."
"Thank you for saving my life back there, Briana." Mona Lisa said.
Briana gave a soft smile. "It was no problem."
She smiled and walked away, trailing her tail behind her and leaving Raphael, who was dazed once again, looking like he was a cloud nine behind.
"My nose... will be ready."
Briana giggled as she smirked at her brother, tapping his helmet lightly. "You got it bad, Raphie."
Raphael playfully swatted her hand away. "Oh, hush you. Now, I know how you feel when it comes to Kaz."
Immediately, Briana felt her face turn bright red at his comment as she shyly looked away. "W-what? M-me a-and K-Kaz? We're juโ just frโ friends." She stuttered.
Raphael snorted at her words before he smirked, crossing his arms over his chest. "Sure, sis," he said. "Come on."
He and Briana then walked over to Mona Lisa, who was inspecting the damage done on the male alien. "So, uh, Mona Lisa, what are we gonna do about your pal?" Raphael asked.
"Perhaps if I use a low output." Mona Lisa adjusted her laser shooter and tapped her knuckles against his chest. "Yes, I believe he'll be fine in no time at all."
๐๐๐
BRIANA HAD JUMPED down with her brother and the two Salamandrians, coming to their aid as they fought the ice dragons. "Whoa! Raph's and Bri's with the bad guys?" Michelangelo asked.
"We're friends now, Mikey." Raphael said, slicing down another dragon with Mona Lisa.
The male alien shot at the dragons with Leonardo, Henry, Eclipse, and Michelangelo backing him up.
"I am Commander G'Throkka," the male introduced.
"That name's cool and all," Michelangelo began. "But I got something better. How about Laser Lizard? No, no, no, no! Oh! G.I Newt! Nah, I got it! Sal Commander!"
Sal Commander stared at him for a moment and then at the three other teens, who gave him small smiles.
Raphael and Mona Lisa cut down another dragon, reducing it to water.
Mara kicked a broken piece of ice away. "Is that all of them?"
Leonardo put away his swords and turned to Sal Commander. "We won't offer our hands, but we will offer our friendship."
Sal Commander held up his arm, hand clenched. The blue masked mutant turtle did the same and tapped their fists before rubbing them together. Sal Commander let out a roar and Leonardo followed with a belch.
"Okay, that was weird," Michelangelo said. "Now, let's go get that irribili-li-li-um!"
With the dragons gone and Donatello thawed out, the gang kept going. They followed his scanner until they reached a crater with a huge spherical device in the center.
"There, that's the satellite. It's made of Irrilium!" Donatello said as he and the others ran toward it.
"That's no satellite. That's a Triceraton space mine!" Fugitoid said.
They all yelped, quickly jumping away.
"If we could deactivate it, we could use the Irrilium inside to fix the ships, right?" Natalie asked.
Fugitoid slid down to the mine, the others carefully followed him. "Hm... let me see..." he put his hands on the mine, scanning the interior. "Yes. The Irrilium is perfect. It even contains a dark matter regulator."
"We got to hurry. I'm getting short on power andโ" April stopped at growling and they turned to see more ice dragons surrounding them. "Oh, no."
"There are too many to fight!" Fugitoid said.
"I got a plan," Raphael responded. "Come on!"
The plan was all of them running while four of them carried the mine and it seemed to be working perfectly, until they started sliding down an icy slope, the mine rolling down with them. They cut down the dragons that got too close, regaining their footing at the end of the slope and took off running again.
"The ship's up ahead! Hurry!"
Both Michelangelo and Derek started screaming as a dragon kept freezing their butts. Casey laughed until one started doing it to him, jumping back and started to glide along the ice. "Oh, yeah! Hover skates in full effect, yo!" He shot photon pucks at a dragon, making it explode.
Kaz noticed the gap in the ice and looked over at him. "Casey, give me all your photon pucks!" Casey pulled out his pucks and handed them to him. He started forcing them into the ice, right where the gap started.
"Awesome idea, Kaz!" Casey said, fending off the dragons with his stick.
Kaz set the pucks to blow and ran for the ship. "Now run, Jones!"
"Goongala!" Casey skated after him, the pucks exploding as they dove to the ground. The explosion made the ice crumble, sending the dragons down into the newly opened chasm, and Casey and Kaz fist-bumped.
"Quickly, now," Fugitoid called. "Almost there!"
"We... may be... too late..." Leonardo said, stumbling forward.
Zane quickly caught him, putting his arm around his shoulders. "Leo!" He walked him over to the ship and set him down against it, Michelangelo flopping down beside him.
Fugitoid opened the mine. "Excellent! The dark matter regulator."
Casey's suit started sounding the alarm. "Oh, no. This is itโ the big freeze!" He looked at April, Zane, Mara, Kaz, and Briana. "We won't make it through this! We're not mutants!"
"Warm-blooded or not, we're in trouble, Professor!" April called.
"Please don't pressure me..." the robot called back, working on disarming the bomb.
"Rokka, Rokka." Sal Commander fell to the ground, unconscious.
"G'Throkka!" Mona Lisa called.
"Faster, Honeycutt. No time, no time," Fugitoid muttered to himself, dashing to the ship to begin repairs. Donatello's suit gave out and he fell into the snow, catching the robot's attention. "Oh, dear. Oh, dear. Hurrying as fast as I can."
"This is it..." Casey, Kaz, Mara, Zane, Briana, and April fell onto the snow as their suits gave out.
"Raphael!" Mona Lisa caught him as he fell. She leaned him against the shell of the bomb, sitting down beside him.
"Mona... I... I wi-ish... I c-could tell you... how... I... feel..."
"Raphael... believe me... I... know." Mona Lisa moved her tail around his shoulder and pulled him close, the two of them leaning against each other as their suits gave out.
"So... cold..." Eclipse went to fell onto her knees but Henry caught her, wrapping his arms around her as he pulled her closer to him, trying to give her as much warmth as he could.
"I got you, Clips," she heard him whisper to her. "Stay with me."
Although Eclipse was fighting to keep her eyes awoke, her eyes felt heavy as she rested her head against Henry's chest before her eyes closed and everything went black.
๐๐๐
THE GOLDEN MASKED mutant turtle opened her eyes to the blurry view of the ship's ceiling, noticing that she was warmโ warmer than she had been since they crashed and she can hear the others waking up as well.
"Hey," she looked over and spotted Henry looking at her. "You're okay." She took his hand as he helped her back up onto her feet just as the others got back onto their feet as well.
Michelangelo groaned. "What happened?"
"You guys okay?" April asked the male alien.
"We are... grateful." Sal Commander responded. Michelangelo started to stand beside him only to immediately begin to fall over, but the male alien caught him and held him up a few inches from the ground. "Hopefully one day, we can repay your kindness."
"Yes. One day." Mona Lisa stood beside Raphael with a smile, taking his hand in hers. They started to move closer until the doors opened behind them to reveal the Professor.
"No time for dawdling!" Fugitoid said as the two leaned back. "I've already repaired your craft." He walked into the room. "Not to be rude, but we have Triceratons to catch up with."
Raphael cleared his throat. "Mona, uh, look. Um... what I'm trying to say is... uh..."
Mona Lisa placed a finger to his lips, silencing him. "Let me say it for you, Raphael. In my own language." She roared, finishing her sentence, then grabbed the front of Raphael's suit and pulled him in for a kiss.
"Ugh." Casey, seemingly more grossed out than anything, earning an elbow to his chest by Kaz while Sal Commander covered Michelangelo's eyes and April and Briana started to giggle.
๐๐๐
ONCE THE TWO Salamandrians returned to their ship, they gave their farewells and departed.
Raphael watched them disappear into space. "Goodbye... Mona Lisa." He put his hand to the glass and sighed softly.
"You'll see her again one day, Raph." Leonardo walked over and put a hand on his shoulder.
"I sure hope so..."
"The Triceratons are, like, millions of astro-miles ahead," Donatello stated, walking up to them with Henry, Eclipse, Kaz, Casey, and Zane.
"But with some luck, we'll catch up to them." Briana said, walking up to them as well with Mara, April, Natalie, Scott, and Derek.
"They don't stand a chance against us." Mara added with a smirk.
Michelangelo laughed. "Let's do this!"
"We got our first allies for our fight against the Triceratons."
