DAVID WAITED INSIDE his car as his grip on the steering wheel tightened. He was glad that his windows were darkened since he knew that his older brother was on edge with all of the phone calls or messages he ignored and just in case his brother happened to show up at Roosevelt High School, his brother wouldn't be able to see him inside of the car.

After he made his brother aware of his return to the city, the next thing that he had did was enrolled his sons into the same school as his nephew in hopes of his sons learning everything they can about him. He dropped them off and picked them up everyday in order for Derek and Scott to tell him what they learnt.

Though, it would help if school ended a lot more faster so that way, his wolf wasn't growing agitated by the second...

David had been so deep into his thoughts that he hadn't noticed the passenger door to his right or the back door behind him opening, snapping him back to reality as his two sons climbed into the car, closing the door behind them and buckling up.

"Well?" David asked, starting the engine and then driving off.

"It wasn't easy since we had to make sure that we weren't too close to him or else his wolf would sniff us out, but," Derek said with his usual cockily grin on his face. "We managed to find out who his friends are."

"April O'Neil, Casey Jones, Kazimieras Smith, Briana Hamato, Calista Diaz, Mara Sparks, and Zane Carson," Scott informed his father, listing the names of his cousin's friends. "Though, it's clear that they have more since whenever nobody's around, they agreed to meet at the 'lair.' Wherever that is."

"And his wolf?"

"He knows about it, but it doesn't look like he's happy about it," Scott added. "There's this kid— well, kid might be a stretch since the guy is probably twenty, but his name's Mitch Bilsky. He's basically the school's biggest idiot and bully, but nobody really takes him seriously. He has a habit of picking on Henry and his friends and every time, we can sense his wolf trying to come out but Henry definitely holds it back."

"At first, I thought it was because he didn't want to get exposed as half-mutant, but Scott figured out that it's really because he's afraid of losing control," Derek admitted. "It doesn't look like Uncle Daniel told him the truth about his wolf."

David couldn't help but sigh, shaking his head at his brother's logic. "Of course he didn't," he said.

"Dad, I don't think Henry's gonna end up being a threat to your power as Alpha," Scott said honestly. "Even if his wolf is like grandpa's wolf, he seems harmless."

"He is, for now."

"Yeah, but, if the Argents—"

"Do you have to bring up their last name?" Derek asked his younger brother angrily, shooting him a glare from the front seat. He could feel his hands shaking violently from anger before he forced them to go still.

"Sorry," Scott mumbled before speaking up again. "If they're really coming here next, wouldn't it make sense if we team up with Henry? I mean, Uncle Daniel knows about them. He was there when the fire happened."

"Your uncle doesn't share my point of view, Scott," David said, his grip on the wheel tightened again as he kept his eyes on the road. "Our ideas of justice are different no matter what they've done to us."

Scott didn't said anything as he slowly nodded. However, it didn't stop him from thinking about a possible alliance with his uncle and newly-discovered cousin.

If only his father wasn't so stubborn...

"Now what?" Derek questioned impatiently. "I'm getting a little tired of all the spying and keeping a distance that Scott and I have been doing. And until they get here, I don't have anything to hit."

"Now?" David said as a small smirk came onto his face. "Now, I'm gonna paid a little visit to his family."

"HEY, GUYS, EVER notice how the cartoons we watch are kind of just like our missions?" Michelangelo asked, sitting in the main room as they were watching Crognard.

"Seriously?" Leonardo responded. "You're reading way too much into a cartoon show, Mikey."

"Speaking of missions, I know what our next one should be," Raphael said as he was punching the training dummy. "Shredder. Why don't we take him down once." He punched the dummy with each word. "And. For. All."

"Because we've faced him before and lost." Henry reminded.

"Because it'd be a suicide mission." Eclipse added.

"Because of that impulsive and overemotional state right there." Leonardo added.

"Who are you calling impulsive and overemotional!?" Raphael snapped, getting into his face.

"Honestly, I'd go more with hotheaded." Michelangelo said.

Raphael growled and lunged at him, tackling him to the floor. Both Leonardo and Henry sighed before standing up and going to help the orange masked mutant turtle. Suddenly, Henry's ears pricked at a loud bang that sounded near the entrance. At the sound, Donatello ran out of the lab with Briana following close behind.

"What was that? Did Raph finally blow a gasket? Cause I got spares." Donatello said.

Raphael stopped shaking Michelangelo as the seven teens heard someone walk through the entrance. They all turned their heads to see LeatherHead come down the steps, collapsing onto the floor.

"Turtles. Henry. Briana."

"LeatherHead!" Both Michelangelo and Briana ran to the mutant alligator with the others following close behind.

"Are you okay?" Leonardo asked.

"Can't you see he's terrible?" Michelangelo responded, hugging the alligator. "Look at his adorable yet tortured gator face. Aww."

"Michelangelo is right," LeatherHead said, pushing himself to his feet. "I bring dire news. Slash and Rockwell have been captured by TigerClaw."

"What? Why?" Briana questioned, a worried look in her eyes.

"He said they could be of use to 'him,'" the mutant alligator said.

Raphael crossed his arms over his chest. "Give you one guess who 'him' is."

"Yeah, that guy who does the thing with the thing." Michelangelo paused. "I have no idea who you're talking about."

Eclipse smacked the back of his head. "Shredder, dummy."

"If Slash and Rockwell were captured and you're here, what happened to Pigeon Pete?" Henry asked.

As if it was on cue, a familiar mutant pigeon flew into the lair, laughing, only to slam into a wall.

In unison, both Raphael and Eclipse groaned. "Oh, not Pigeon Pete."

"Wow. Now, this is a secret lair," Pigeon Pete said, looking around in awe before flying over to the tire swing.

"Anyone but Pigeon Pete."

"A tire swing!" Pigeon Pete darted to the pinball machine. "Is that a real Space Heroes pinball machine!? You ask me, the only thing this place needs is some bread."

"We got better than bread." Michelangelo opened a pizza box. "Pizza crust, bruh."

Pigeon Pete flew into him, knocking him over. He grabbed a crust and started pecking at it. "Oh, where have you been all my life?"

"Why couldn't TigerClaw take him instead?" Raphael asked.

"Look, I'm not crazy about Slash, but the Mutanimals are our friends, and we're gonna rescue them." Leonardo said, meeting Henry's gaze for confirmation.

Henry nodded. "Let's go save our friends."

"WHAT ARE YOU doing, Raph?" Leonardo questioned, grabbing his brother's arm to stop him from moving forward. They were all standing on a rooftop in front of Shredder's lair.

"Going in all blades blazing, like we should have done weeks ago." Raphael responded.

"We don't even know where exactly they are," Boy Danger told him. "We need a plan."

Pigeon Pete stood up on the edge of the rooftop. "You need a recon fly-by? I'm the birdman for the job." He jumped off the edge. "Pigeon Pete's a go!" He flew to Shredder's lair, only to fly into a window.

Suddenly, the doors to the building opened and Slash and Rockwell came out running while being followed by Foot Bots.

"Rockwell, we've got to move!" Boy Danger's ears pricked at Slash's shout.

Eclipse raised a brow. "They escaped on their own?"

Then, they all rushed off to go help the two mutants and found them cornered in an alley. They jumped down and took the robots out and then turned to the two mutants.

"Slash, are you okay?" Captain Violet asked.

"What did Shredder do to you?" Raphael asked.

"They don't look so good," Donatello responded. "We've got to get them back to the lair, guys."

ONCE THEY GOT Slash and Rockwell back to the lair, Splinter handed the two a cup of noodles as the two mutants sat up in pain. "Your escape was very fortuitous. Shredder is not one easily eluded." Splinter said.

"Ah, we're just glad you two are okay." Raphael said.

"Are you two sure that you're okay?" Boy Danger questioned, a slight frown on his face. "Cause something seems off about you two."

"They did something to us. Yes, it's all coming back now." Rockwell said. "We've were being experimented upon by Shredder."

"Experimented on?" Briana asked.

"He had these strange little worm creatures, and then... and then..." Slash grabbed onto his head.

"Dude, don't leave us hanging." Michelangelo whined.

"Let me get you some water." Splinter said, standing up and turning to walk away.

But it was like those words were a trigger as something inside of Slash snapped. With his eyes turning completely white, Slash stood up and attacked Splinter with his mace.

"SPLINTER!"

"This can't be happening!" Raphael said as he, Henry, and Briana attacked Slash. "How could you, Slash?"

"Sensei?" Michelangelo asked as he, Leonardo, Eclipse, and Donatello were by Splinter's side.

Suddenly, Rockwell used his powers to make them float in the air. "Rockwell's gone crazy too!" Donatello said.

"It's gonna be because of what Shredder did!" Eclipse stated.

Rockwell then threw the four of them into LeatherHead, knocking him down. Slash grabbed Henry and Briana and threw them into Raphael, sending the three to the floor. Then, LeatherHead tackled Slash to the floor.

"Don't make me hurt you, Slash."

"Don't make me laugh, monster." Slash bit the alligator's arm, making LeatherHead loosen his grip and kicked him off. Slash grabbed his mace and knocked him back, only for the mutant alligator to send him sprawling.

"I don't know what's come over you, Doc, but snap out of it!" Pigeon Pete was pecking at Rockwell, but the mutant monkey used his powers to knock him into the pinball machine.

"Shredder and Jake desires one of the turtles, Princess Briana, and Henry." Slash said as he got to his feet.

Raphael jumped up with a snarl. "I volunteer to go kick his but right after I kick yours!"

Raphael charged at him with Henry and Briana following close behind him. Slash threw a smoke bomb at the three of them, hitting them in the face as smoke billowed around them. They coughed, collapsing to the floor in front of Slash, who picked them up.

"Rockwell, fall back!" He ran for the lab with Rockwell, the mutant monkey shutting and locking the door.

"Raph! Hen! Bri!" Leonardo called, running for the door with Eclipse as they tried to pry it open. LeatherHead roared and the two quickly jumped out of the way as he rammed into the door, but it didn't budge.

"Sensei, me and Donnie will stay with you." Michelangelo said, kneeling beside Splinter.

"I will survive," Splinter said. "You must save your brothers and sister. Go!"

Michelangelo nodded and ran back to the others.

"We need this door open, now!" Eclipse snapped.

LeatherHead managed to ram the door open, just for them to see Slash and Rockwell driving off in the Party Wagon.

"They stole the Party Wagon!" Michelangelo said.

"The ShellRaiser's fully operational," Donatello said. "Let's go!"

They all ran inside the vehicle and the moment that they were inside, Leonardo floored it, taking off after the two. They shot out of the sewers and into the streets.

"Donnie, Clips, slow them down!"

"Time to take out the trash." Eclipse activated the garbage cannon and started to shoot at the Party Wagon, but Rockwell swerved to dodge.

"Deploying battering ram." Donatello flipped a switch, lowering the barrels on the bumper while Leonardo rammed into the Party Wagon.

"Oil slick! Oil slick!" Michelangelo warned.

The ShellRaiser swerved and skidded out of control, crashing into a nearby building while the Party Wagon drove out of sight.

"They got away with Raph, Hen, and Bri." Eclipse said.

"At least we know where they're going," Leonardo said. "Looks like we're doing what Raph wanted after all: taking the fight to Shredder."

ISABELLA WATCHED AS Soren placed the syringe that was filled with blood onto the desk after taking it out of the unconscious Briana. She couldn't help but grinned mischievously as she spoke up. "Can you imagine what I can do to my experiments with her blood?"

"Remember what Master Shredder and Master Jake told us, Sparks." Soren reminded.

Isabella waved his words aside. "Yeah, yeah, I know," she said. "Her blood is the cure for Master Jake's sickness and Master Shredder wants to use her as his greatest weapon." She then questioned. "Where's that shapeshifter, anyways? That Henry kid?"

"TigerClaw took him to Master Shredder and Master Jake since he was starting to wake up," Soren informed. "Master Jake has other plans for him."

Two groans filled the room as both Raphael and Briana opened their eyes, finding themselves strapped to tables. "Where am I...?"

"Raph?"

"Bri?"

Raphael looked to his side, finding two familiar mutants there. "Slash, Rockwell, snap out of it!"

"Don't bother," Isabella said as she stepped forward. "It's no use."

"With my mind-control serum—" Soren cleared his throat while Isabella glared at the mutant fly. "Our mind-control serum coursing through their brains," Stockman-fly corrected. "Resistance is futile."

"I'm really lousy at taking orders!" Raphael retorted. "Ask Leo and Henry!"

"We won't take orders from you." Briana added.

Soren chuckled lowly at those words. "Oh, we'll see about that."

Stockman-fly and Isabella held a brain worm as they stepped closer.

"Okay, that's disgusting." Raphael commented.

"This is about to make me hate bugs even more." Briana muttered to herself.

Slash and Rockwell held the two still as Stockman-fly placed the brain worm on Raphael while Isabella did the same with Briana. The worms moved up to their foreheads as the two teens closed their eyes and screamed.

HENRY COULDN'T HELP but groaned as he was shoved onto the ground. He slowly pushed himself to his knees, looking around groggily at the strangely-decorated circular room.

"What the...?" Henry mumbled.

"Welcome home, Henry."

Henry snapped his head up to find Shredder and Jake just a few feet away from him while Shredder placed his helmet on.

"You!" Henry growled angrily. "I'm gonna kill you two!"

He reached for his swords as he went to stand up, only for TigerClaw to grab his arms and pinned them behind him, forcing the teenaged boy onto his knees again.

"Oh, Henry. I'm afraid you've been mistaken," Jake chuckled lowly as he stepped closer to him. "My father and I won't be your opponents."

Henry just glared deadly at Jake, growling lowly as he struggled against the mutant tiger's tight grip.

Then, the gates opened and beside Henry, both Raphael and Briana were thrown onto the floor.

"Raph? Bri?" Henry asked.

"Henry...?" Raphael groaned beside him.

"Where are we...?" Briana groaned from beside her brother.

"Your new home, little cuz."

Both heads snapped up again to find Jake and Shredder standing in front of him. Jake moved away from Henry and stepped closer to his adoptive father, standing next to him.

"Shredder." Raphael growled, getting to his feet and pulling out his sais. "Finally! Been waiting for this!" With Briana following his lead, he charged at him, sais lifted.

"Stop."

Henry felt his eyes widened when both Raphael and Briana froze, their weapons aimed at Shredder's back.

Shredder faced them. "Now, bow to me."

Against her will, Briana lowered her katana blade as she struggled to stay onto her feet, feeling her legs shake from how hard she was fighting against it. Raphael fell to his knees beside her and lowered his head, eyes turning completely white.

Briana could feel her entire body shaking as she did the best she could to fight back against the brain worm. "I... won't... bow... to... you." She forced out.

"It is pointless to fight, Destroyer," Shredder said. "You will obey my commands. Now, bow to me." As Briana's sapphire blue eyes turned completely white, she fell to her knees next to her brother and bowed, lowering her head. "Attack me!"

Briana's grip tightened around her katana blade and swung her sword forward at the man in front of her. Shredder blocked her attack and Raphael stabbed his sai forward, but Shredder knocked his hand down and jumped back.

"Harder! Without mercy!"

Briana raced past her brother and kicked Shredder hard in the chest, knocking him to the floor. As Raphael joined her, the two lifted their weapons.

Just as long as Shredder doesn't said anything...

"Enough."

Immediately, both Briana and Raphael froze, their own weapons still aimed at Shredder's chest. Henry growled, hating the sight of his little brother and little sister being forced to act as mindless puppets for Shredder and Jake. Henry lifted his leg and kicked TigerClaw down below in the mutant tiger's private area, forcing him to let go of his arms as Henry leapt away from the mutant.

Suddenly, the gates slammed open and at the familiar roar, Henry knew that the others had arrived.

"Henry!" Eclipse called out at the sight of him. "And it's Raph and Bri!"

"Guys, do it! End this!" Leonardo said.

"What are they waiting for!?" Donatello exclaimed.

"They can't!" Henry exclaimed. "He's controlling them! Just like Slash and Rockwell!"

Jake laughed as Shredder got back to his feet. "He's right," Jake said. "The brother and sister you knew are gone."

Both Raphael and Briana stood up, lowering their weapons. "Princess Briana and Raphael is mine to control." The gates snapped shut. "As are your other mutant friends." Rockwell and Slash came out of hiding with Stockman-fly, Soren, and Isabella. Slash was even dragging his mace along the floor.

"No escape for you, turtles." TigerClaw said.

Raphael walked over to a large skull, reaching inside and taking out a pair of bladed gauntlets similar to Shredder's, allowing the blades to slide out. A teal blue aura formed around Briana's hands while sparks of teal blue psionic energy were at the tips of her fingertips.

"Raph? Bri?" Michelangelo asked fearfully.

Shredder laughed. "Now, let us welcome you properly."

Jake smirked. "But first, Raphael, Briana." He looked towards Henry, who felt his eyes widened as realization washed over him, realizing what Jake wanted for him. "Attack Henry. And do not hold back."

As the fighting on both sides started, Henry let out a startled yell as he dodged a oncoming attack from Raphael before taking out his twin swords and using to block of a ball of magic from hitting him that Briana had thrown at him. Raphael clashed his gauntlets against Henry's twin swords but with him occupied, Briana took it as her chance to send Henry crashing into the wall by throwing a ball of magic at him.

Henry groaned in pain before rolling out of the way to avoid Raphael's gauntlets, leaping to his feet when he was cleared. "Guys, snap out of it!" Henry said. "I'm not the enemy! Shredder and Jake are!"

"You are the enemy!" Raphael said in a monotone voice that wasn't even his own. He ran at him, lifting his gauntlets.

Henry spun out of the way and kicked Raphael from behind, pushing him away from him. Then, Henry whirled around and brought his twin swords up in time to block another ball of magic that Briana sent his way.

Then, Briana spun around and kicked Henry in the chest, sending him sprawling. Briana lunged forward, a kunai knife in her hand, but Henry rolled onto his feet and flipped backward, landing on top of a statue.

"This isn't you! Either of you! You've got to break Shredder's and Jake's control!" Henry shouted at them. "Where's that crazy temper or endless optimism?"

"Don't be a fool, Henry," Briana responded in a monotone voice that was just like her brother's. "There's nothing you can say to stop this."

Henry growled and leaped off the statue, going in for the attack but Briana blocked his swords with the kunai knife she held. She kicked his chest hard again, making him stumble backwards. Henry ducked in time to avoid the kunai knife that Briana had thrown at him, watching as the knife wedged itself into the wall behind him. Then, Raphael lunged at Henry with his gauntlets raised but Henry blocked them.

"Just break free already!" Henry snapped.

But neither Raphael or Briana stopped attacking him as Henry did the best he could to block them. Then, Briana formed a ball of magic in her hands and released it, throwing it at Henry, who was locked in combat with Raphael. The moment that it hit him, Henry was sent crashing into the wall as he fell to the ground while both Briana and Raphael slowly stalked towards him.

Henry panted heavily, pushing himself to his feet as he stared at them. "I'm not going to fight you guys." He dropped his swords as they fell to the ground with a loud clang. "I don't want to fight you guys."

"Oh, but we want to fight you."

With those words, Raphael swung his gauntlets at him but Henry caught them with his left hand, holding them back from his face. Then, using his right hand, Henry caught Briana's katana blade and held it back from hitting his chest. He grunted as he held back their weapons, feeling Raphael and Briana fight back against his, pushing their respective weapons closer to him.

"It's okay, guys. It's okay. I'm here, I'm right here," Henry said. "I'm not gonna leave you guys. I'm not gonna leave you guys."

What Henry didn't realize was that at the very moment, his hazel-brown eyes flashed yellow and the moment that both Raphael and Briana made eye contact with his glowing yellow eyes, a wave of memories smacked them, flashing right before their eyes.

Laughing, hanging out with Henry, sparring, or training.

Both Raphael and Briana froze, removing their weapons away from him. Briana could feel the brain worm making its way up her throat as she backed up alongside her brother, dropping her sword while falling onto her hands and knees. After a few seconds of coughing and gagging, she threw up the disgusting brain worm.

Henry didn't hesitate to slam his feet down on the two brain worms. Then, he bent down and placed one hand on Raphael's shoulder while his other on Briana's shoulder.

"Raph? Bri?"

Briana kept her eyes closed, not wanting to look at his face at the moment. She remembered everything that she did— all of it, and she had never been more ashamed of herself than she was at that very moment. How could she attack one of her older brothers? How could she attack one of the people that she desperately looked up to and wanted to be like so much? How could she give in to Shredder so easily?

"Daijōbuka, otōto, imōto?" Henry asked in Japanese.

She had attacked him and yet, Henry still found it in himself to be worried about them—about her. If anything, she had to remind herself that this was Henry and he was always going to be worry about them no matter what happened or what they did.

Raphael opened his eyes, looking up at him with a weak smile. "Un. Arigatō, nīsan."

Briana opened her eyes, giving him a weak smile as she looked up at him. "Chōshi wa dō dai, nīsan?"

Henry smiled as he stood up, holding out his hands for them to grab before helping them stand up once they did. "Definitely better now that you two are back," he said. "Now, come on. We got a fight to finish."

"Let's do it."

The three of them turned back and joined the rest of the fight. "Stockman, Soren, Isabella, what is going on?" Shredder snapped.

"I—I don't know, sir." Stockman-fly responded before getting kicked down by Pigeon Pete.

"It's the kid's wolf, sir," Soren informed. "He helped them break free somehow."

Donatello was pinned against the gate due to Rockwell using his powers as the mutant monkey made him slap himself. "Ow! Ow! Okay, so you can make me slap myself. Ow! If you had a brain to go with your powers, you might actually be— ow!— smarter than a gibbering baboon! Ow!"

"What!?" Rockwell snapped. "How dare you! A reptilian-brained evolutionary throwback—" he was cut off when he started gagging, throwing up the brain worm.

Donatello winced as the brain worm bounced off his head before squishing it underneath his feet. "Sorry about the insults, doc."

"No, they were necessary, although complete fabrications." Rockwell said.

"Agree to disagree," Donatello said. "Now, blast that worm out of Slash!"

Rockwell used his powers to blast the brain worm out of Slash. The worm bounced across the floor and into the fire surrounding Shredder and Jake.

Shredder got to his feet. "It is time I end this experiment." He slid out his blades.

As the fighting started once again, Jake took out his sword just in time to block an oncoming attack from Henry. Henry, whose eyes were glowing yellow, growled at him as he swung his twin swords at him again. Their swords clashed against the other until Jake lifted his leg and kicked Henry hard in the stomach, causing him to stumble back.

Jake lifted his sword and went to bring it down on Henry, but it never touched him as Leonardo slid in front of his big brother and blocked the attack with his katana blades. Then, Leonardo pushed him back and delivered a roundhouse kick to Jake's chest, knocking him back a bit.

Then, Donatello went next and swung his staff at Jake, but he ended up using it to knock the purple masked mutant turtle back. Leonardo charged in, his katana blades at the ready but Jake dodged and kicked him back. Eclipse charged next with her grip tightened on her kamas, but Jake caught her arm and threw her after her brother.

Michelangelo ran at him from behind, his nunchucks spinning while Henry came at Jake from the other direction with his twin swords raised. Jake grabbed both of their wrists and threw them in the same direction as Leonardo and Eclipse, causing for both Michelangelo and Henry to crash into the gate.

Raphael charged at Jake, who blocked his sais with his sword, and Raphael did a somersault to get back onto his feet. Briana ran in from the other direction, missing her swing as Jake dodged. The cousins took another swing at the other as their swords clashed against the other while the two glared at each other. Jake shoved Briana back, but she easily caught her balance and swung down her katana blade again. Her sword clashed against his and Raphael took his chance and leapt in, but Jake caught his sais with a kunai knife he pulled out from his belt. Jake twisted and one of Raphael's sais went flying. With his sword still against Briana's sword, Jake used it to knock Raphael's other sai free, disarming his cousin in the progress before knocking both of them off their feet.

Jake lifted his sword, ready to finish them off, when a creak sound grabbed everyone's attention. They looked over to see the statue behind Shredder tipped forward and fell as the statue crashed down onto Shredder with a cloud of dust. Slash and LeatherHead stood on the statue's former platform with smug looks while Pigeon Pete laughed as he flew down to land on the statue.

"Father!"

While Jake rushed to his adoptive father's aid, the gate slammed open and multiple Foot Bots charged in.

Raphael started to step forward, but Leonardo grabbed his arm. "Another time." He threw down a smoke bomb, and so did Donatello and Eclipse as they all bolted.

"I'M SORRY, MASTER Splinter." Slash was kneeing in front of Splinter, holding out a cup of tea to him that the mutant rat gladly accepted. "When I attacked, I could see everything that was happening, but I couldn't control my actions. Please forgive me."

Splinter rested a hand on his shoulder. "There is nothing to forgive, my friend. This was Shredder's doing. Your mind was not your own."

"Those worms must've programmed you like sleeper agents." Donatello said.

"Indeed, it was dreadful," Rockwell confirmed. "My thanks to all of you for saving us."

"All I know is that those worms were nasty, and it's awesome to have you guys back." Michelangelo grinned, swinging an arm around Briana's shoulders.

"I'd say, I don't know what we'd do without you guys." Eclipse said, sharing a smile with Henry and he gladly returned it.

Raphael smirked. "Thanks, little brother, little sister, but we owe it all to Henry."

Briana nodded in agreement, giving Henry a small smile. "Yeah. If you haven't done what you did, I don't know if we've break free from it."

'Though... none of it would've happened if I hadn't given in so easily. I... I could've killed Henry with my magic.' Briana thought secretly to herself, the guilt of what happened started to hit her.

"Well, like Clips said, what would we do without you guys?" Henry said, a teasingly smirk on his face. "Every team needs an impulsive, loudmouthed, super-violent hothead and an optimistic, bubbly kunoichi, right?"

Raphael growled as he walked over to Henry, who barely seemed fazed by him growling, only to surprise him by picking him up in a hug. "You're the best, bro."

"DID YOU GET it?" Jake questioned, walking into the lab and over to where Soren and Isabella stood by the desk.

Soren reached over and picked up the syringe that was filled with Briana's blood. "Right here."

"Give it to me. Now."

Isabella watched as Jake took the syringe from Soren as quickly as he could. "Wait, you're just gonna drink it like that?" She questioned.

Jake ignored her as he practically downed the blood, leaving not even a single drop of it. Isabella looked away with a disgusted expression, not wanting to see him drink all the blood. Once he was done, he set the empty syringe down onto the table.

Jake sucked in a deep breath as his once extreme paled skin gained the slightest hint of color while his pale grey eyes changed to the slightest hint of green, as if the color was slowly starting to come back. He could also feel his body getting just the tiniest hint of strength back as the pain that came from the inside of his body vanished a bit.

"It won't last for long, you know?" Isabella reminded. "The most it'd probably last is a week— the most, two weeks."

"And that's why we have to capture my cousin," Jake ordered. "I need more."

"HEY, YOU'VE REACHED Henry..." Kris sighed at the voicemail she's gotten for the hundredth time already. She sat down in a seat, resting her elbows on the table as she ran her hands through her hair, having no idea what to do.

Her entire life was going downhill fast all because of one of her secrets.

Secrets that she and her now ex-husband, Jack knew about.

Secrets that Kris didn't want to come out into open.

There was a knock on the door and Kris immediately stood up, rushing towards the door in hopes that it was her son. She threw open the door, only to find someone else standing there.

Rather than her son, there stood a young athletic, attractive, muscular man with blonde hair and hazel-brown eyes. He was wearing a plaid shirt over a t-shirt, a black leather jacket, jeans, and sneakers.

"Kris Hart, I presume?" The man questioned, a smirk on his face as he looked her up and down.

Kris blinked, unsure of who the man is. "Um, yes, that's me," she said awkwardly. "Do... do I know you?"

"Not me personally, but you do know my big brother, Daniel Hale," the man said, his smirk grew wider when Kris froze. "I'm his younger brother, David Hale."

From the very up of the stairs and out of sight, Piper turned around and pulled out her phone, clicking on a contact and bringing the phone up to her ear as it started ringing.

"Come on, come on," she whispered. "Pick up."

The call continued to ring for a few seconds until...

"Hey, Pipes. What's going—"

"Henry," Piper whispered softly into the call, doing the best she could to try not to sound scared but she wasn't sure if it was working. "You—"

"Why do you sound scared?"

Piper almost wanted to curse into the call at how easily her brother can read her, even if he wasn't in front of her in person. But at the same time, she also wasn't surprised since it was Henry that practically raised her.

"I... I'm not—"

"Piper Leigh Hart, you have five seconds to tell me the truth or else, I'm gonna come home and make you tell me to my face."

"No!" Piper shouted into the call before quickly lowering her tone. In the midst of her panicking, she completely forgot that it wouldn't matter considering that David would hear her anyways. "No, no. You can't come home— not right now, at least. David—"

"Well, what do we have here?"

Piper felt her eyes widened as she spun around, freezing at the sight of David standing there.

"Pipes? Piper, you there?..."

"I..."

Piper doesn't get to finish her sentence as David snatched the phone from her and held it up to his ear instead. "Hello, Henry." He said into the phone. "Now, your mother and your sister are here with me and unless you don't hurry home," he made a fake wince. "Well... let's just say that I'd hate to be responsible if anything bad happens to them so, I'd hurry back if I were you."

Then, David moved the phone away from his ear and crushed it in his hands, dropping the pieces onto the floor. He stared down at the twelve-year-old girl with a smirk.

"Now, if you don't mind, Piper, I have a family reunion with my nephew to get ready for."

"Yeah, so, those brain worms are disgusting and the very reason why I hate bugs— specifically, cockroaches. As for Henry... well, it's about to go down between him and David for the first time."
