"So, you didn't think that Shredder would stopped after teaming up with the kraang, right? Good, because he doesn't but I'd try not to worry too much about it. Shredder will get what's coming to him... eventually."
THE LIGHTS IN the lair turned on to reveal the huge mess it was as Donatello had managed to restore power to their home. "What a disaster," Leonardo said as he looked around. "The kraang really trashed this place."
"Indeed, but this is our home," Splinter stated. "We will clean and set things right once more."
Michelangelo groaned. "I hate cleaning." Ice Cream Kitty let out a meow from her cooler. "I call the kitchen!"
๐๐๐
"OF COURSE, THEY had to work," Henry mumbled to himself, a frown on his face as he dumped a bag that was full with kraang droid parts into the garbage can outside his house. "Gone for three months and they can't stay to help Piper or even see if she's okay."
He clenched his fists tightly before slamming the lid onto the garbage can. The wolf inside of him gave a small, soft growl as if the animal was wondering if he was alright but Henry shook his head, ignoring it for now.
The last thing he wanted to do was talk about his parents.
"Henry?"
Henry turned around to find Daniel walking over to him with Natalie just a few inches away as she caught up with him.
"Daniel? Natalie?" Henry questioned. "What are you two doing?"
"We just left the junkyard and were heading back to his place after dropping off four garbage bags of kraang parts," Natalie explained. "Daniel didn't trust me to stay until he got back."
"Last time I did, you left during the invasion and I had to sent the Mighty Mutanimals to bring you back." Daniel reminded.
Natalie rolled her eyes. "Yeah, well, relax. There's no point in doing it if you'd just find me again."
Henry noticed the slightly tensed and awkwardness going on between Natalie and Daniel, which only reminded him of how his own relationship towards Daniel was.
'I guess Natalie isn't a fan of being part-wolf either. Well, that makes two of us.' He thought secretly to himself.
"Anyways, what are you doing, kid? I thought you were avoiding coming home." Daniel asked.
"How'd you know I was avoiding coming here...?"
"Your mother told me," Daniel explained. "She called me a few weeks before the invasion started in the first place since she thought that maybe you were with me. Did you decide to come back or...?"
"I don't know yet," Henry responded. "I'm just helping Piper clean the place out, that's all."
Natalie raised an eyebrow at him. "Can't your parents help her?"
"They're at work."
Immediately, Daniel couldn't help but frown slightly at those words. He knows he didn't have a right to judge since he hasn't been involved in Henry's life till recently but, going to work after not seeing your children for three months? It didn't sit well with him.
Despite having kept a close eye on Henry when he was a child (without his or Kris's knowledge of it), Daniel knows that Henry isn't too sure what to do with him now being in his life and although he knows that if Henry asked him to, he'd back up and stay away from his life. But still, just maybe...
He had a chance at growing a relationship with not just Natalie but with Henry as well, and finally getting the chance to be the father he wants to be.
"You know, I'm taking Natalie to the store tomorrow to get her some clothes since she doesn't have any at my place," Daniel told him. "You can come with us if you want."
Henry stared at him, taking in those words. For the first time, he didn't know what to think of the offerโ not because he had gone to the store before, but because not once, did his parents ever offer to take him to the stores and buy what he liked.
Not once did they ever offered to do anything with himโ or Piper.
"I..."
"Henry, what'sโ"
Piper cut herself off after seeing Daniel and Natalie, blinking with a confused look on her face. "Uh... who are they?"
"Piper, this is Daniel," Henry introduced. "And that's his daughter, Natalieโ who I just found out yesterday." He sent the older man a look for that and Daniel gave him a small, apologetic look back in response.
"Oh, right, your... dad," Piper said awkwardly. "So, she's your... sister." Although she wouldn't admit it out loud, Piper couldn't help but feel a bit threatened after meeting her brother's other sister.
Henry hated the awkward silence that came right after as he shifted on his feet uncomfortably. He bit the bottom half of his lip, trying to find what to said next before he turned towards Daniel.
"So, um... about that offer, I, uh..." Henry said a bit hesitantly. "I'll think about it."
"Sure thing, kid," Daniel said. "Let me know when you make a decision."
Henry just gave a small nod before he headed back inside the house with Piper, though Daniel's offer remained in his mind.

AS THE FIVE mutant turtles and Briana had been cleaning, Casey had stormed into the lair, looking angry. "Well, look what the cat dragged in," Raphael said. "Where have you been, Jones?"
"Doing what you should beโ helping the city, stopping crime!" Casey snapped.
Eclipse raised a brow. "What crime? People literally just got back to the city."
"Whoa, hold up," Donatello said. "In case you haven't noticed, we kinda just got back here. We just happened to stop a little thing called a massive alien invasion."
"Yeah, dude, we deserve a little downtime." Michelangelo said in agreement, eating some Chee-Z balls.
"Evil never takes downtime," Casey argued. "I just took on the Purple Dragons."
"Ooh," the five mutant turtles taunted sarcastically.
Raphael laughed. "So, how bad you beat them?"
"Well, at least I stopped them from getting away with the cash!"
"Wait, you didn't beat the Purple Dragons?" Eclipse asked.
When Casey didn't answer, it gave them the answer that they needed. The five mutant turtles expect Briana burst out laughing.
"You don't want to help? Fine!" Casey snapped. He turned and walked out of the lair. "I don't need you guys. Casey Jones can protect the city alone."
"Good luck with that!" Donatello called out.

THERE WAS A knock on his window and Kaz turned towards it, finding a familiar vigilante at the window. He walked over and opened the window. "My mom gave you an extra key to the door and you still decide to use my window?" Kaz questioned.
"It gives danger vibes, I like it," Casey said as he stepped into the room. "Besides, you do the same thing even though my dad gave you an extra key."
"Yeah, well, like you say," Kaz admitted with a shrug. "Danger vibes. So, who did you get into a fight with this time?"
"What makes you think I got into a fight?"
"The bruises on your face, for one."
Casey hesitated for a second. "You sure you want to know?"
Kaz raised an eyebrow at those words. "Spill it, Jones. Who was it?"
"The Purple Dragons," Casey said. "Well, really it was... Kevin."
Kaz stared at him before an annoyed groan left his lips. "Oh, of course, it was that idiot." He rolled his eyes.
"Him and some guy," Casey added. "I guess, the leader of the Purple Dragons."
"Hun?" Kaz asked.
This time, it was Casey who raised an eyebrow at him. "You know him?"
"Dude, he's Kevin's best friend," Kaz said. "He's came over before with Kevin, but only when my mom is at work since she's not a fan." He looked towards his bedroom door, as if he was waiting for something. "We should probably get going soon."
"Why?"
Before Kaz could answer, a startled scream was heard from down the hallway and Kaz was already exiting out his bedroom through the window and onto his fire escape. "That's why. Unless you wanna deal with Khalil, time to go, Jones!"
Casey blinked but followed, leaving through the window and onto the fire escape. "What did you do?"
"Khalil started it, not me. The idiot left his stupid fire ants in my bed," Kaz said with an eye roll. "I'm just glad I saw them before I sat on them, but you know how he's afraid of spiders?" Casey nodded. "Remember Kenny's pet tarantula?"
"Yeah, he named it Raven, right?"
"Right. Well, I left it in Khalil's bed as payback."
"Oh, that's evil," Casey said before he smirked. "Not bad. But you do know that you're not gonna be able to come home for a while, right?"
"It was worth it, but I'm hiding out at your place for a while," Kaz said. He smirked as he looked at him. "Now, are we gonna go find some crime to take down or what?"
Casey smirked, fist-bumping him. "You bet."
๐๐๐
"WHY IS IT that when you go looking for crime, it's never there?" Casey complained as he and Kaz were standing on a rooftop.
"Do you even have a plan or are you just planning to charge right in?" Kaz questioned.
"Track down the stupid Dragons and pound their new leader in his lame head."
Kaz raised an eyebrow. "You know, as much as I'd love to give Kevin a good beatdownโ" he cut himself off when the sound of motorbikes driving by were heard as he looked over the edge of the roof to spot the Foot Clan members drive by. "The Foot? Well, looks like the Dragons are gonna have to wait."
Both Kaz and Casey made their way down the fire escape and into the alley, hiding behind the wall to spy on the Foot. FishFace and TigerClaw were there with Shredder and Jake.
"Shredder and Jake," Casey said as they watched the Clan entered a restaurant of some kind. "This just got interesting."
Then, Kaz and Casey left the alley, running to the back entrance of the kitchen that they used to sneak into the place. They looked through the doors to find Shredder sitting at a table while Jake stood beside him.
"Oh, great," Kaz mumbled, spotting a particular person. "That's Don Vizioso. He's an Italian mob boss who controls organized crime in this city."
"Didn't you find out that Kevin used to run shifts for him?"
"Yeah, back when Kevin was a junior, before he dropped out of high school and a year before he started the Purple Dragons with Hun," Kaz explained. "I only know about it because Kenny tried to get him arrested until Kevin got in his way and helped him escapeโ and Kenny lost the case against Don Vizioso because of it."
Casey looked around before rummaging through the cabinets, finding a bottle of wine. He smirked. "Time to do some recon."
Kaz grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled him back. "The hell do you think you're going?"
"To get close enough to hear what they're saying," Casey said. "Neither one of them will recognize me."
"Well, how about you ditch the gear, genius?" Kaz told him sarcastically. While Casey removed his mask, weapons, and face paint, Kaz tossed him an apron. "Just act like a waiter, dude. Refill their glasses and just figure out whatever you can, that's it. Don't do something stupid to get yourself killed cause then, I'll have to figure out what to tell your dad."
"Got it, bro." Casey pushed through the doors, heading for the table while Kaz lingered at the doorway, trying to hear the conversation the best he could.
"...trying to say, Shredder?" Vizioso asked.
"Must I spell it out?" Shredder snapped.
Vizioso's goons immediately drew their weapons. FishFace and TigerClaw reacted by doing the same while Jake narrowed his eyes at the goons.
"Yeah, I don't read so good." Vizioso responded.
Without looking at them, Jake held up his head and immediately, the two mutants behind him and Shredder placed their weapons away, prompting the goons to do the same.
"My father and I already control the Russian mob through Steranko, the Asian gangs via Hun and Kevin, and the South Americans through Xever, so really, you only have two options here. Either declare your allegiance to us, or..." in the blink of an eye, Jake took his sword out and used it to cut through the candles on the table and the meatball Vizioso was about to eat, sheathing his sword swiftly.
"How might I be of service?" Vizioso asked.
"Access to certain chemicals for a project I'm working on." Shredder responded.
"Well, I already told you about the shipment at the docks. What more do youโ"
Vizioso was cut off when Shredder grabbed Casey, who had began quietly refilling their glasses, and slammed him against the table, his blades sliding out of their holsters to aim at his face.
"Who sent you, spy?" Shredder snapped.
Kaz froze, cursing lowly underneath his breath. He knew that he couldn't just run out to save him because then, he'd know for sure that Casey was a spy. He just hoped that Casey would be able to lie his way out of there.
"I'mโ I'm just a busboy." Casey responded quietly.
Shredder stared at him for a few moments. "Very well, but do not let me see your face ever again." He released him and Casey was quick to retreat to the kitchen where he and Kaz bolted out the back door and into the alley.
"That was close, too close," Casey said. "Oh, man, my heart's pounding so fast. That was so cool!"
"Cool!?" Kaz questioned, taking out his T-Phone as he spun around to face him. "Are you nuts? Shredder nearly stabbed you in the head!" He turned his phone on and clicked on contact to call. "Wait till Raph hears about this."
๐๐๐
"OH, MAN. NEED a break." Raphael flopped down on the couch, tossing a few kraang heads and a bag of trash into a pile.
"No doubt," Leonardo agreed. He tossed the sponge he'd been using to clean the floors into a nearby bucket, leaning against the couch. "Cleaning up is way harder than training."
"At least, the lair looks normal again." Briana added.
Then, they turned towards the turnstiles at the sound of footsteps to see Henry coming into the lair, holding two takeout bags in his hands. "Someone ordered some Mr. Murakami's?" He questioned.
Michelangelo's face instantly lit up, a wide grin on his face. "Ooh, pizza gyoza?"
"Yes, there's pizza gyoza, Mikey." Henry said, handing one of the takeout bags.
"Aw, yeah!" Michelangelo cheered happily, taking the bag. "Thanks, bro!"
"What's in the other bag?" Eclipse asked curiously as she walked over to him.
Henry handed the other takeout bag to her. "Hot pot, char siu, and mapo tofu." He listed three of her favorites.
"Well, don't you know me so well." Eclipse said with a small smirk, gently taking the bag.
"I know." Henry responded, a small smirk of his own on his face.
"Okay, lovebirds, go ahead and kiss already," Donatello said teasingly.
Although both Henry and Eclipse rolled their eyes at his words, the two still shared a quick kiss and then pulled away before the two sat down on the couch to join the others.
Michelangelo, who still had the bag that held the pizza gyozas inside of it, was crawling around on the floor, panicking. "Wait, no. No, no, no, no, no!"
Donatello smacked him with the broom. "What are you looking for, Mikey?"
"The TV remote, duh!" Michelangelo responded, crawling around more to continue his search. "Where are you?"
Raphael pulled out his T-Phone after feeling it buzzed, checking the message. "Got a text from Kaz. Oh, no. He and Casey are on some kind of crazy mission." He got up and started to walk off. "I got to go handle this."
"Want some help?" Leonardo asked.
"I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Save me some pizza gyozas!" Raphael responded as he jumped over the turnstiles, exiting the lair.
"No. It's gone forever," Michelangelo whined. "Farewell sweet TV-controlling device. You made our lives so much better. You were a true friend in times ofโ" Briana cut him off by tapping his shoulder, holding up the remote for him. "You found it!" Michelangelo hugged her. "You're the best, little sis!"
While Michelangelo took the remote and turned on a episode of Crognard as they all started to dig into the food Henry brought, yet at the same time, Henry couldn't help but let Daniel's offer play itself over and over again in his head.
"You know, I'm taking Natalie to the store tomorrow to get her some clothes since she doesn't have any at my place. You can come with us if you want."
"Got something on your mind, Hen?" Briana asked her older brother figure.
"You could say that," Henry admitted. "I ran into Daniel and Natalie while I was helping Piper."
"Did something happened?"
"You could say that. Basically..."

DOWN AT THE docks, Kaz was hiding behind some sea cans with Casey as they listened in on the Foot.
"Xever, let's get those robot legs moving." Razar snapped.
"Back off, man," FishFace snapped back as he opened the doors to a van. "We talked about this. You are not the boss of me."
"Technically, I'm field commander when TigerClaw's not around, which means I am your boss." Razar retorted.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever."
"Just wait till the others hear about this." Casey flipped down his mask, skating out from behind the sea can. Kaz followed him with his powers at the ready. "Goongala!" He slammed his bat into the mutant fish, sending the fish flying into a sea can. "The class is Pain 101. Your instructor is Casey Jones."
"Did you really just say that, kid?" Razar questioned.
Kaz rolled his eyes. "You know, I didn't know you were deaf, Bradford." He looked over at his best friend. "I'll grab the case, think you can handle those two fools?"
Casey smirked. "You bet."
And with that, Kaz went for the case while Casey leapt to attack. "Doggie, fetch!" Casey slammed his hockey stick into a puck bomb, sending it into Razar, and the mutant dog caught it in his mouth. The bomb exploded, sending the mutant flying back to crash into the mutant fish.
Kaz reached the case and grabbed the handle, starting to pull it. But then, he stopped when he heard the sound of footsteps running towards him and spun around to see the mutant fish charging towards him.
Before FishFace could reach him, Kaz let his arm lit on fire and aimed it at the mutant fish, shooting a blast of fire at him. FishFace leapt out of the way to dodge it and charged again. This time, Kaz didn't have time to shoot other blast of fire at him as FishFace kicked him into Casey, sending the two crashing into a stack of crates, which collapsed around them, trapping them.
"I grow tired of youโ"
FishFace was cut off when Razar pushed him out of the way. "I'm gonna enjoy taking you two apart piece by piece."
"Bring it on, freaks!" Casey retorted, pushing his way out of the crates. Kaz got to his feet as well, pushing his way out of the crates while letting his arm lit up on fire again. "I ain't going down without busting a few fangs!"
"Only way I bust a fang is if I'm chewing on your mask." A crate suddenly landed on top of Razar.
Raphael jumped down from the crane, kicking FishFace to the ground. "Come on."
"Hold on." Kaz bolted for the case, grabbing the handle as he ran back. "Now, let's go."
The three of them took off from the docks, heading for the nearest manhole. "Have you taken too many pucks to the head, Jones? You're lucky Kaz was with you. No way can you beat those two on your own." Raphael said.
Kaz dropped the case onto the ground when they came to a stop as Casey spoke up. "Hey, we stopped them from stealing this case, didn't we?"
"What's so important that you two would risk your stupid lives for?" Raphael snapped.
Casey flipped up his mask. "I don't know," he snapped. "Let's find out."
"If you two are done acting like kids, I'm just gonna go ahead and open this." Kaz told his two best friends.
Kaz then opened the case, revealing four canisters and a warning sticker.
"Dangerous chemicals. Good thing we were flinging this case around," Raphael said sarcastically as Kaz closed the case. "We'll take it back to Donnie. He'll know what they are. Come on." He grabbed the case.
"No way!" Casey responded, starting to walk off. "You take it to Donnie. I'm going after Shredder and Jake."
Kaz spun around to glared at him. "Are you crazy!?" He snapped. "Actually, let me rephrase that: you're crazy! Have you lost your mind!? You want to go after Shredder and Jake? In case you forget, Jones, they're both dangerous assassins! You don't stand a chance!"
"I mean, not even the slightest chance, the tiniest, tiniest, ittiest, bittiestโ"
"I get it!" Casey shouted, cutting Raphael off. "Go take your little case to Donnie. Casey Jones works better alone." He flipped down his mask and walked away.
"Oh, for the love ofโ are you trying to get yourself killed!?" Kaz shouted, a frustrated groan leaving his lips as he stormed off, following Casey. "If by a miracle, Shredder and Jake don't kill us, I swear, I'm gonna kill you myself, Jones!" And with that, Kaz left the red masked mutant turtle on his own in the alley while he stormed off after Casey.
"Whatโ are you serious!?" Raphael snapped, grabbing the handle of the case since he knew he couldn't leave it behind and out in the open. "Casey, Kaz, wait!"
๐๐๐
"ARE YOU CRAZY?" Leonardo snapped. "You just let Casey and Kaz go off on their own?" He was in the lab with the others as Donatello was studying the chemicals with Briana that Raphael brought back.
"Let them!?" Raphael retorted. "What was I supposed to do, chain Casey to a wall? I told him not to go, and Kaz went for backup!" He slammed his hand on a desk, almost knocking over a piece of equipment.
Briana yelped as she quickly grabbed it, keeping it from falling over. She looked up at them. "Uh, guys?"
"My bad."
"Sorry, Bri."
"Well, I'm stumped." Donatello sighed, looking over at the others. "I have no idea what this chemical is. It's not mutagen-based. Maybe it's an explosion. The thing is, we've seen Stockman's lab, and he doesn't have the equipment to synthesize these chemicals. Only mutagen."
"Isn't Ethan working with them? Maybe they're getting it for him." Eclipse suggested.
"It's possible," Donatello answered. "His company would be the only place with the equipment to synthesize these chemicals. But if it's not for him, then I have no idea where else."
"Mm, what kind of place would have equipment like that?" Michelangelo asked, eating Chee-Z balls again.
"Cheez-Balls? Mikey, do you even know what's in that?" Briana asked.
"It's all natural, little sis," Michelangelo responded, listing the ingredients on the can. "De-enriched corn husks, hydrogenated styrodextrin, red dye 42โ mmm. Tri-nucleonizedโ what?"
Henry took the can from him, looking at the ingredients. "It's not even the slightest natural, Mikey." His nose pricked at a smell and he winced. "It's probably even slightly radioactive." But as he spoke, Michelangelo was downing two cans of Chee-Z balls.
Leonardo took the can from his brother, reading the label. "Manufactured by Auman Chemicals, New York. Wait a sec, that place is in Chinatown, right?"
Donatello typed the name into the computer, bringing up a mark on the map on the screen. "It is. It's the biggest chemical manufacturing plant in the city."
"And if it's in Chinatown, that means it's controlled by the Purple Dragons, right?" Raphael asked.
"Yeah, that's their turf." Eclipse responded.
Michelangelo cheered, laughing. "Chee-Z balls for the win!"

CASEY JONES AND Kaz had known each other since their first day of preschool and on their first meeting, a bond of brotherhood sparked between the two as they were quick to become best friends, bonding over their passion and love for hockey, claiming that one day they'd play in the NHL together on the same team. On their first meeting, Casey had recently lost his mother when she died to heart cancer (while his little sister had been six months old at the time) and with a friendship sparking between the two, Kaz was there to help him through it.
Then, when Kaz was seven-years-old, his parents divorced due to the fact that his mother had discovered that his father had not only been cheating on her for years but had a other family with his mistress (though at the same time, his mother had discovered she was pregnant with his youngest brother, Kyle at the time) and this time, Casey was the one that was there to help him through it. As the two grew older, both Kaz and Casey continued to grow closer over their shared interests in hockey and their strong sense of justice. So, Kaz knew that Casey could be reckless, a lotโ hell, he was swore that he himself could be reckless sometimes, just not as often as Casey, and yet, neither Kaz and Casey stopped being there for each otherโ whenever it was reckless, stupid, or both.
And then, Raphael joined their friendship and the duo became a trio. With the three teenaged boys sharing a strong sense of justice and a adrenaline for taking down crime, it made sense why the three of them clicked in their own way and became best friendsโ even if both Raphael and Casey struggled with anger issues sometimes or Kaz who had powers, specifically his fire abilities, that were driven by his sense of justice, desire to do the right thing, and his anger and grudge towards his own father.
To the three of them, their friendship just made sense so, Kaz wasn't even surprised when he had stormed off after Casey.
Kaz shifted as he stayed in the shadows of the rafters of the Auman Chemicals factory, eavesdropping on the conversation while keeping an eye out for Casey.
"Everything you need, Master Shredder, Jake, from mixing vats, extrusion machines, kilns, bottling facilitiesโ you name it," Hun listed as he and Kevin guided the two along the factory's catwalk.
"You've done well to bring this factory to my attention, Hun, Kevin," Shredder said. "It will be adequate for my plans."
"I have one request," Hun started, stopping on the catwalk. "Since this factory is on Dragon territory, perhaps Kevin and I should be in charge."
"So be it. Success is to be rewarded, as failure is to be punished."
Puck bombs landed by Shredder's feet and the small firecrackers exploded. Razar jumped out of the way before it could hit him. A smoke cloud shielded the catwalk from view for a moment and when it cleared, Casey stood there.
"Looking for me?" He taunted.
Kevin rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Great, it's him."
Shredder narrowed his eyes with a growl, staring him down. "I will make your end shift, boy." His blades slid out.
Casey chuckled, holding up two bats. "I ain't afraid of you!" Shredder sliced both bats in half and grabbed him by the collar, earning a nervous chuckle from Casey. "Okay, I might be a little afraid of you."
Shredder pulled Casey to him, lifting the mask to see who he was. "You? Now I will end this game and your insignificantโ" Casey slid out his taser, thrusting it against Shredder to electrocute him. Shredder yelled in pain, tossing Casey away as he fell to his knees. Casey slammed into the railing before falling to the floor. Once the shock subsided, Shredder was back on his feet instantly, kicking Casey to the wall. "You have spirit, boy, but I tire of this game!"
Just as Shredder slid out his blades, Casey scrambled back, his back hitting the walls. Immediately, Kaz jumped off the rafters, aimed at Shredder, and shot a blast of fire at the man as Shredder jumped back to avoid the blast while Kaz landed between him and Casey.
Kaz glared at Shredder before turning his head over his shoulder, looking at Casey. "How's the whole 'Casey Jones works better alone' going now, huh?" He said sarcastically.
"You insolent boy! I will make you pay for that!" Shredder charged but before he could strike, Leonardo and Boy Danger dropped down out of nowhere, kicking him in the chest before landing on the railings to either side of Kaz. "What?" Shredder glared at the two.
The others then jumped down as well. "Aw, yeah!" Michelangelo cheered.
"Destroy them!" Shredder ordered. "Do not let them near that vat!"
"I don't need you guys," Casey snapped. "I had this."
"No, you didn't, Jones." Kaz said, pulling him out of the way just as TigerClaw shot at them.
"And I have you," the mutant tiger said.
Both sides charged at each other. Boy Danger advanced on Shredder with his twin swords raised while Leonardo advanced on Jake with Captain Violet. Michelangelo had Razar covered as he activated some of the machinery. Casey was handling Hun while Kaz was handling Kevin. Eclipse and Raphael were taking care of TigerClaw while Donatello was focused on FishFace.
Growling, Leonardo glared at the eighteen-year-old boy as their swords clashed against the other while a bubble of pure hatred rumbled in the mutant turtle's stomach for the older teenaged boy.
Jake smirked, seeing the hatred in the mutant turtle's ocean blue eyes. "You can't save him, you know?" He taunted. "The deal is going to happen one day, and youโ and nobody else can stop it."
"Like hell it is," Leonardo snapped. "You're not going anywhere near my brother."
"We'll see about that."
With Jake distracted, Captain Violet came up behind him to strike, but never got to hit him as Jake took one hand off of the hilt of his sword to pull out a kunai knife from his belt and used it to block her katana blade.
"Oh, still not fast enough, little cuz." Jake taunted.
"He shoots!" Everyone turned to see a container of chemicals land in the vat. "He scores!"
"No!" Both Jake and Shredder shouted in unison.
"You fools!" Shredder yelled.
"What is that gunk, Donnie?" Eclipse asked.
"It's the secret ingredient in Mikey's Chee-Z balls." Donatello responded.
"Yeah!" Michelangelo cheered before pausing. "Wait, what?"
Captain Violet felt her eyes widened. "Uh, guys, I think it's time to go!"
They quickly made their way out of there as the vat exploded behind them.
๐๐๐
"GOT TO HAND it to you, guys," Raphael said towards his two best friends as they were all back at the lair. "You kind of saved the day."
"And let's not forget that you took on Shredder, and you're both still in one piece." Eclipse added.
"Aw, yeah! High-three!" Michelangelo cheered, high-fiving Casey and Kaz as he walked past. He climbed down on the couch and onto the floor, a pizza box in his hand.
"You guys are the best," Casey said. "I couldn't have done it without you, but don't think I'm 100% a team player, cause Casey Jones is still a solo vigilante of the night, a mysterious lone hero in a world of evil."
"Sure, Casey, whatever you say." Kaz said.
The doors to the lab and Donatello stepped out. "Guys, this is even worse than I thought," he started. "Shredder's and Jake's mixtureโ it's not an explosion."
"Isn't that supposed to be good? They're not armed with explosive chemicals?" Henry questioned.
"I mean, normally yes, but in this case, this is way worse," Briana said. "It's worse than an explosive."
"So, what is it?" Leonardo asked.
"We think they're working on a mind-control formula. If it works, they could use it on Karai or us or every single person in New York City!" Donatello explained, receiving gasps from everybody else while expressions of horror and shock were on each and every one of their faces.
"So, a mind-control formula. Sounds like fun, right? Trust me, no, it absolutely doesn't. If anything... it's actually pretty gross and I hate it."
