"Remember Anton? The guy who stole Shredder's helmet? Yeah, well, him and his friend definitely get what's coming to them after they tried to use Karai as bait."

WITHIN THE PIZZERIA that was being used as their hideout for now, Splinter was sweeping the floor, Kyle, Piper, and Chloe were dusting while April and Briana were rolling up the sleeping bags that they had used for the night. "Looking good, guys," April said. "Pretty soon, this place will feel like a real temporary home!"

"We just need a few more decorations," Michelangelo finished hanging up the drawings he'd made. "What do you think?"

"It looks great, Mikey." Briana said with a smile. She and Michelangelo then looked over to Splinter, spotting his distraught look. "Sensei, are you okay?"

"Hm?" Splinter looked over at them. "Forgive me. My thoughts are... elsewhere, Briana, Michelangelo." He walked over to one of the boarded up windows, looking outside. "It is very dangerous out there. Casey, Kaz, Mara, and your brothers have been gone for a long time."

April walked to the back of the pizzeria where Eclipse was helping Donatello set up the makeshift lab. "How's the new lab set up?" She asked.

"Eh, kind of makeshift," Donatello said. "I'm brewing a batch of retro-mutagen I started back at the farmhouse... it takes forever."

"And then we can mutate my dad back?" April asks. "Um, hopefully for good this time?"

"Well, that's the plan," Eclipse said. "And everyone else who got mutated, including Karai."

The three of them looked over to see Splinter, Michelangelo, Briana, Kyle, Piper, and Chloe entered. "Karai..." Splinter said.

Then, the sound of cheering got their attention as they looked over at the hole in the floor to see Raphael, Casey, Kaz, Mara, Henry, and Leonardo pull themselves out, bringing boxes of various objects with them.

"I got one word for you," Raphael said. "Score!"

"Here, Donnie. Managed to swipe these from the lab," Mara said, handing him a box of various things left in the lab.

Donatello grinned. "Oh, wow, awesome!"

"And even though the kraang were mad-dogging us the whole time, we didn't forget..." Casey placed a box on the ground, using his foot to slide it over to Michelangelo. "Mikey's big request."

Michelangelo opened the tv and immediately, it was like fireworks went off in his head. "TV!" He cheered. "Now we can watch Crognard again! Aw, yeah!"

Leonardo walked over to Splinter. "We got you something too, sensei." He pulled out the photo of him with Miwa and Tang Shen, handing it to him.

Splinter took the photo, staring at it. "You are a good son, Leonardo."

While the others were unpacking the boxes of what they managed to grab and handing them out, Henry set the box he was carrying down and reached inside, grabbing something as he carefully pulled it out before turning towards the golden masked mutant turtle.

"Remember your favorite book? That horror-thriller book you love?" Henry asked.

"Beyond The Gates? Yeah." Eclipse said with a nod, her jaw opening a little when Henry showed her the book.

"I managed to get past the kraang to get to your room where I found it and I thought you might want it." Henry said, letting her take the book into her hands.

Eclipse smiled warmly at her boyfriend, holding the book in her hands. "Thank you."

"Anytime," Henry said with a smile, his heart racing at the sight of her smile. "Besides, it was worth it to see your smile."

Eclipse felt her cheeks turned a light shade of pink while her emerald green eyes and his hazel-brown eyes met in a lovingly gaze, warm smiles on their faces.

IT DIDN'T TAKE long for Michelangelo had the TV set up on the table in the main room. "What an awesome home we have! It's even got the new home old smelly pizzeria smell. Mmm... pizza." He ran to the oven, pulling out a freshly baked pizza.

April shrugged, sitting down on the couch. "It's still a little cramped for my liking."

"Home for me... will never be complete without my daughter." Splinter stated.

"We can help her," Leonardo said. "We just have to keep looking."

"For all we know, Shredder or the kraang have her." Raphael said.

"No," Splinter argued. "I saw her only a few days ago roaming the streets at night. But I was not in my right mind... I could not help her."

"I think we can find her," Donatello stated. "I've been updating all of our surveillance tech, and we're just a few days off from finishing more retro-mutagen!"

"Alright, let's do this!" Mara said, cracking her knuckles with a smirk. "I'm down for some action."

"Sorry, Mara, but you, Casey, April, Kaz, and Zane have to stay here," Leonardo said, leading the others for the hole in the back. "Ninjas only."

"Oh, come on!" Kaz complained.

"What? You need us!" April argued.

"Yeah, you guys need all the help you can get!" Zane added.

"That sucks! How come we're getting benched?" Mara complained.

"That's not fair!" Casey added, hopping over the counter. "I wanna trash some alien scum, too! Why you gotta pent up my rage, Leo?"

"Karai's mind isn't her own right now, Casey," Henry said. "She's unpredictable and we're more trained to handle these type of situations."

THE PARTY WAGON was moving along down the streets and into an alley where it stopped and parked. Then, the five mutant turtles, Boy Danger, and Captain Violet all got out.

"Alright, team, this is the last place Master Splinter saw Karai." Leonardo said.

"You getting any readings, Donnie?" Eclipse asked.

Donatello flipped down his goggles, scanning the area. "Picking up trace amounts of mutagenized DNA. Scanning now... that's it! Snake cell/human hybrid DNA sequencing... it's Karai!"

Michelangelo jumped down in front of the snake scales on the ground, picking them up. "Oh, snake, check it out! Potato chips!" He started to eat them. "Mmm. Kinda stale, but not bad. Do I detect sour cream and chives? Mmm!"

"Uh, Mikey? Those are snake scales," Briana corrected. "Karai must be shedding."

"Gaah!" Michelangelo dropped the scales.

"Alright, guys," Leonardo said. "We follow the DNA trail. Lead the way, Donnie."

HIS NOSE TWITCHED at the familiar scent that had gotten stronger the more that they followed the DNA trail. But then, his ears prickled at an accented voice, "Ooh, this is funky fresh. Snake skin— recently shed. I am better hunter than my brother Boltak!"

The seven teenagers were on a rooftop, staying out of sight of the two men.

"Stop messing with that butt-nasty skin," Zeck snapped quietly to the Russian man. "What you want is right down there, son!" He pointed to a nearby alley, and the others followed his gaze to see Karai slowly moving through it. "Heh heh! She thinks she's hiding!"

The Russian man chuckled. "Da." He ran to the edge of the roof, pulling out a tranq gun and aimed it at Karai. "Now I make her go sleepy nap time."

But he never had time to shoot because Michelangelo jumped down from their rooftop and landed in front of Karai, blowing raspberries at the man.

"Turtle-face?" The Russian man exclaimed while Captain Violet threw a shuriken at the gun, startling him. "Mother Russia!"

"Leave... Karai... alone!" Leonardo snapped as they came out of hiding, weapons drawn.

"Aw, man, not these freaks again." Zeck groaned.

"Nice outfit. 1987 called," Eclipse said with a smirk. "It wants its jumpsuit back." She and Raphael shared a fist-bump.

"Uh— wha—wh—wh—wha— you making fun of my suit? I will bust you in your dang head."

Zeck spun and threw an energy version of his Mohawk at them, but they scattered in time and it hit the roof below them with an explosion. They jumped down and at the same time as the two me , charged with their weapons drawn. Zeck danced to avoid them, making strange noises as he did so.

The Russian man opened a crate and pulled out a huge gun that looked heavy. "Finish them off! Once and for alls!" He started shooting at them, laughing as they dodged. "Turtle pests! You are like fleas on back of powerful Russian bear!"

The man ducked as Leonardo jumped over him, swinging with his katanas. Raphael tried to hit his gun with his sais, but the man pulled it away. Eclipse swung her kamas at the gun, but the man moved back to dodge.

Zeck continued to make strange noises while firing another energy Mohawk at Donatello, Michelangelo, Boy Danger, and Captain Violet. They scattered and it exploded against the roof.

"Why is he making those noises?" Donatello questioned, blocking one of Zeck's shots with his staff.

"He's just trying to distract us." Captain Violet answered, blocking the next shot with her katana.

"He's only succeeding in being annoying." Boy Danger said, slicing through the lasers with his twin swords.

The four of them managed to close in on Zeck, blocking the lasers with their weapons. Donatello jumped at him and tried to hit him with his staff, but Zeck leaned forward to dodge, stepping back to avoid Boy Danger's twin swords.

His ears pricked at an explosion and turned to see that Leonardo, Raphael, and Eclipse had been caught off guard with a flash bomb. The Russian man had used it to his advantage and was now pointing a tranq gun at Karai again. Just as he pulled the trigger, Boy Danger rushed forward and slammed into him, making him miss. Karai turned to hiss at them before fleeing into the streets.

"Karai's on the move!" Leonardo called. "We gotta go after her!"

Michelangelo threw down a smoke bomb, blinding Zeck and the Russian man while allowing them to get away.

THE SEVEN TEENS managed to sneak past the kraang droids that were out in the streets stealthily, reaching the warehouse that Karai had gone inside of and moved inside. "Alright, guys," Leonardo said. "Let's split up and find her."

As they all split up to cover the upper and lower levels of the warehouse, they all began to call out.

"Karai? You here? It's us!"

"Karai, come out!"

"Where are you?"

"We're not gonna hurt you, Karai! We just wanna help!"

"Karai! Come out!"

"So, what are we gonna do when we find her—invite her back to the lair for pizza?" Eclipse asked.

"That's a good question," Donatello responded. "The retro-mutagen still isn't finished." He suddenly gasped as he came face to face with a group of kraang droids.

"Oh, great," Raphael said as he, Donatello, and Eclipse pulled out their weapons. "Another kraang droid party!"

From the railings of the upper level, Leonardo, Boy Danger, Michelangelo, and Captain Violet pulled out their weapons as well. "Take them down before they alert more!"

But then, Karai appeared out of nowhere, slamming into a droid and sending it flying across the room. She hissed at another droid and took one out with one of her snake hands. She dodged a laser, turning on the droid and snapping its head off. She grabbed the droid body in her mouth and tossed it aside. A fanged mouth opened in the back of her head and she used it to tear off the alarm of a droid, breaking off its head and sending it in Donatello's direction.

Donatello deflected it easily with his staff. "Um, thanks?"

Karai hissed at him, turning her attention to Michelangelo when he jumped down. "It's okay, Karai," he said. "It's me... Mikey. Your brother."

Leonardo, Boy Danger, and Captain Violet jumped down to join them. "Karai, remember us! We're your friends, your family. Remember who you are!" Leonardo said.

Karai only hissed at them.

"She's becoming more snake-like by the hour," Donatello said. "She doesn't understand, Leo."

"She understands, Donnie." Leonardo said firmly, trying to convince himself as much as his brother.

Karai stared at him, prepared to strike but Leonardo dropped his katanas, letting them fall to the floor as he moved closer to his sister.

"You're changing, Karai," he said softly, keeping himself calm. "We wanna help you. It's us. Try to remember."

Karai hissed at him, preparing to strike but Leonardo stood there, unfazed and unafraid.

Then, something in Karai's eyes changed. "L-Leo...?"

"That's right," Leonardo encouraged. "Remember who you are."

Karai shrieked, her form shifting until she was laying on the ground in her human form. Her skin was white and scaled, and her eyes were still green and snake-like with slitted-pupils. "Help... me. Pleasssse..."

Leonardo knelt beside his sister. "Come back with us, Karai."

"No." Karai shook her head, shifting away so she was sitting. "Tooo... dangerousssss..."

Boy Danger's nose suddenly twitched at two familiar scents and his eyes widened when he realized who they belonged too.

"Oh, no..." Boy Danger said, grabbing their attention as he reached for his twin swords. "We got company."

"I told ya I smelled mutants, Boy Danger, and Princess Briana!"

Both Razar and FishFace jumped down, landing behind Karai and Leonardo. "Looks like they've made our job a whole lot easier!" FishFace said.

Leonardo got to his feet, drawing his katanas while Karai changed back into her snake form before lunging at the mutant fish. He dodged aside and clasped some kind of shock collar device around her neck, using it to tase her.

FishFace pulled out a smoke bomb. "Have a whiff of poison, mutant scum!" He threw it, which released a cloud of green smoke.

"Come on! We gotta move!" Boy Danger called, leading the way up the stairs and to the second floor to get away from the smoke.

"Can't let them get away," Leonardo said. "We can still catch up to them."

The seven teens quickly made their way to the rooftop, escaping the cloud of green smoke. "Look! There they are!" Captain Violet said.

They looked to see Zeck driving off on a bike with Karai.

THE SEVEN TEENS stood on the sea cans at the docks, making sure to keep themselves hidden as they kept watch. "Donnie, you sure they're here?" Leonardo asked.

"I planted a whole bunch of spy roaches on Steranko during the fight," Donatello responded. "I'm pretty sure he ate most of them, but there's still one little guy left." He looked at the lone building by the docks just as Boy Danger's ears pricked at a nose. "Yeah, they're definitely here."

Shredder came into view with Jake following him, walking out of a sea can. Leonardo couldn't help but glare at Jake from the sight of him.

"So, the thief who stole from me desires to make a deal," Shredder said, approaching Zeck. "Where is Karai?"

Zeck pointed at the building and Steranko emerged, forcing Karai forward with the shock-collar device around her neck.

"You get us out of the city safe. You get girl. That is deal." Steranko answered.

"I don't make deals," Shredder responded. Razar appeared behind him and Jake on top of the sea can, and FishFace climbed onto the dock from the water. "But perhaps this is worth the expectation. Give me Karai, and you will leave this city alive."

"Let Karai go, and I'll let all of you walk away alive!"

Jake turned his head to see Leonardo standing on top of a sea can with his katanas drawn. Then, the other mutant turtles, Boy Danger, and Captain Violet appeared behind him with their own weapons drawn.

The seven teens jumped down and dealt with Shredder while Jake dealt with Zeck and Razar and FishFace tried to get Karai from Steranko.

Shredder easily blocked their attacks, but Michelangelo did managed to smack him in the face with one of his nunchucks. Shredder glared at him and punched him, knocking Michelangelo away. Leonardo swung at Shredder with his katanas, but Shredder kicked him back. Raphael tried to kick him, but Shredder grabbed his leg and threw him into Eclipse, who tried to kick him from behind. Captain Violet threw shurikens to try to distract him, but Shredder elbowed her to the ground. Donatello leapt at him from behind and drove his staff down at him. Shredder stepped back to avoid it, grabbed Donatello by his sheath's strap, and threw him back across the dock.

"You are nothing to me!" Shredder snapped before glancing at Steranko and Razar. "Karai!"

Taking advantage of his distraction, Boy Danger leapt at him from behind with his twin swords raised. His swords hit the back of his armor and Shredder whirled around, swinging his gauntlets at the boy. Boy Danger blocked the attack with his swords as the two exchanged blows, dodging, and blocking with their weapons clashing loudly. But then, Shredder managed to land a hit and knocked Boy Danger back into a sea can. Boy Danger glared up at him, growling as Shredder lifted his bladed gauntlets.

Eclipse dropped down behind him, landing a hit with her kamas and drawing Shredder's attention as the others joined her. Shredder turned to face them, giving Boy Danger a chance to get back onto his feet.

Leonardo glanced over at Razar and Steranko. "Karai!"

He turned towards Steranko and broke away from the fight, running at Razar from behind and slammed his foot into his back, throwing him into Steranko and the two were knocked back.

Karai was on the ground, breathing heavily and barely able to keep herself up. Leonardo used one of his katanas to slice through the collar, freeing his sister before he caught her as Karai fell.

"Karai, you have to go," Leonardo told her seriously. "Don't let them take you."

Karai looked out across the water, pointing east over the waves, toward the Manhattan skyline. "Comet... Comet."

"Comet?" Leonardo echoed, just as Karai dove into the water and disappeared beneath the waves.

"No!" Leonardo turned at Shredder's angry yell to see him glaring at him, his brothers and sisters on the floor behind him. "My daughter!"

"She's not your daughter!" Leonardo snapped angrily.

"I raised her. Cared for her. She is mine!"

Leonardo glared at the man while Shredder charged at him, but Leonardo threw a smoke bomb in his face, giving him, his brothers, and sisters time to escape.

"What!? Somebody must pay for this!" Shredder said angrily.

At those words, Jake then turned towards Steranko and Zeck, who were being held by Razar and FishFace, and smirked menacingly.

"You two are in for it now," Jake said before looking up at the two mutants. "Take them to Stockman's lab."

"WHAT HAPPENED BACK there? We had her!" Raphael snapped as Captain Violet helped him out of the water.

"It was too dangerous, Raph," Boy Danger said. "We'll find her again."

"She gave me a clue as to where she is, though," Leonardo said. "She pointed east and said 'comet.'"

WITH A SMIRK on his face, Jake watched as FishFace and Razar walked Zeck and Steranko towards the large mutagen vat. The two men looked up to find their profiles being flashed on the big TV screen in the lab.

"Some excellent DNA to be splashed with, don't you agree?" FishFace said, a chuckle leaving his lips.

"I wouldn't want to be a warthog," Razar laughed. "A warthog!"

Zeck grabbed onto Steranko's shirt. "I don't wanna be a mutant. I'm too handsome. The ladies love me!"

"Oh, if it were up to me, I'd be slicing your tongues out before I rip out your hearts," Jake threatened with a glare as he stepped closer to them. "But this is more entertaining to watch you two morons go through this."

Then, Shredder walked into the room. "You stole my helmet. Hunted my daughter. Your fates are sealed."

"Oh, no! Shredder, how long have we known each other? It is ten years! Huh?" Steranko said pleadingly.

"And in those ten years, you have been useless," Jake added. "If it's not your death, this seems like a fitting punishment."

"Anton Zeck is first for stealing the Kuro Kabuto." Shredder said.

Zeck couldn't help but whimpered as FishFace pushed him towards the vat. "Can we talk about this, G? Ah-hee! Oh!"

Then, the next thing that Zeck knew was that he was pushed into the vat of mutagen, screaming in pain. Once the mutation was done, the vat drained and began to fill again as it released Zeck.

The man shrieked as he looked down at himself. "Oh, no. Look at me. I'm a dang warthog!"

"And now, Ivan Steranko, my old friend. Your animal is apropos." Shredder replied.

"Let us become reasonable! I am more useful to you as normal guy, not mutant!" Steranko pleaded.

Jake rolled his eyes before looking up at the mutant dog. "Bradford," he said. "Do it."

And with that, Razar pushed Steranko into the vat. "Nyeeeet!" The Russian man yelled.

Steranko screamed in pain throughout his mutation. Once it was done, he was released and fell beside Zeck as he slowly opened his eyes to find that he was a mutant rhino.

"Oh, don't feel so well," Steranko said. "Oh, nyet. Look at me!"

"They turned us into freaks!" Zeck yelled before he and Steranko roared loudly.

"So, now Shredder has two more mutants on his side but, it's nothing that we haven't handled before."
