"Earthquakes in New York City? More like wormquake."

ON A NEARBY rooftop watching the seven teenagers were none other than Karai and Cameron with Razhar, FishFace, and a few other Foot Bots. "Karai, Master Shredder and Jake didn't authorize your little operation. I think we should—"

"Silence!" Karai shouted, interrupting Razhar. "My brother may be in charge while my father's in Japan, but if we score an ambush on the turtles, Henry, and Princess Briana, it'll make us both look good. Now, quiet. Here they come."

Leonardo and Boy Danger led them across the rooftops as they were on their usual patrol. Boy Danger suddenly felt his ears pricked at the same time his nose did, catching a scent. "Hold on, guys," he said as he paused, the others coming to a halt as well. "We're not alone."

"You're right, Danger," Michelangelo said. "We have a potential spy." He looked over at a squirrel, the small animal running off.

Boy Danger, however, felt his ears pricked again as he looked around. "I'm serious," he said. "I could've swore I heard—"

"Foot! Attack!"

The seven teens whipped around to see Karai and Cameron as Foot Bots leapt out of hiding. Razhar sprang at Michelangelo, knocking him back.

"Serving one bot, hot!" Raphael said, fighting off one of the Foot Bots.

Eclipse sliced one of the Foot Bots using her kamas. Michelangelo and Donatello were fighting against Razhar, Boy Danger was fighting against Cameron, and Captain Violet was fighting against FishFace. Both Raphael and Eclipse were going to help Leonardo against Karai, but Foot Bots got in their way, leaving only Leonardo and Karai against each other.

But then, all of the fighting came to a crease when suddenly, the earth started shaking beneath them. "Earthquake!" Michelangelo shouted.

"In New York?" Razhar questioned.

Leonardo noticed the nearby tower behind Karai that was starting to fall. "Karai, look out!" He bolted towards her and Karai went to slashed at him with her tanto, but he dodged aside, spun around, and kicked her out of the way. He took one glance at the crumbling tower, turned and ran, trying to get out of the way but he didn't make it as the tower collapsed onto him.

"LEO!"

Using the distraction to their advantage, The Foot Clan took this as their chance and left while the others ran towards the rumble, starting to dig through it for the blue masked mutant turtle. Once they finally found him, Leonardo coughed and gave a small groan.

"Ugh... I think my shell got knocked loose," Leonardo said. "What was that?"

"Some kind of localized quake," Donatello responded. "But what caused it?"

Leonardo glanced around for Karai. "Oh, no, she's gone!" He ran to the edge of the roof, looking out over the city. "I could've changed everything! Now, it's too late."

ONCE THE TEENS got back to the lair, Henry, Eclipse, Raphael, and Michelangelo turned the tv on to see the news.

"Scientists are calling them 'microquakes' but they shake so hard, this reporter's hair was badly messed up! No need for concern—I'm being treated by my stylist."

"Dude! His poor hair!" Michelangelo said.

"Earthquakes in Manhattan?" Eclipse questioned. "Something is definitely up."

Then, the four of them went to the lab where Donnie and Briana had been the whole time since they returned to the lair.

"We've been graphing the earthquake epicenters," Donatello began, pointing at the computer monitor. "They're happening in a pattern that's not at all random."

"Is that awesome or awesome bad?" Michelangelo asked.

"Awesome bad, Mikey." Briana responded.

Donatello typed on the keyboard. "We got weird energy readings under the epicenter. I think some kind of tech is causing the quakes."

"Huh. Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?" Raphael asked. Everyone nodded, expect for Michelangelo, who just stared at him. Raphael rolled his eyes, smacking him across the face. "Mikey, who has that kind of technology?"

"Hmm." Michelangelo thought, as Raphael groaned, knowing it wasn't the answer he was thinking of and smacked him across the face.

THE NEXT THING that they knew was that Splinter was standing before them as they were on their knees in a line. "This is difficult, but it is time you all knew the truth," Splinter began. "The child I thought I had lost in the fire, Miwa, is Karai, my daughter. Fury became flame, and flame darkened the world with smoke. And in that darkness, Shredder stole Miwa away. I thought she had perished, but she was raised by Shredder as his daughter, and trained as a deadly Foot assassin."

"What?" Eclipse asked, shocked.

"Karai's actually Miwa?" Henry asked.

"Wait, t-this can't be." Donatello said.

"It's some kind of joke, right, sensei?" Raphael asked.

"Karai's our sister?" Michelangelo and Briana asked in unison.

"Sensei, she's still our enemy," Raphael pointed out. "She was raised by Shredder."

"Yeah, how can we ever trust her?" Donatello asked.

Splinter walked over to the shrine, picking up the photo of his previous family. "There is good in her, I know this. The truth must be told, and it too will be an earthquake."

WITHIN SHREDDER'S LAIR, Karai was waiting in the throne room with Jake, Cameron, Noelle, Tyson, Soren, Razhar, FishFace, and Baxter Stockman. Karai, however, was starting to get a little impatient as she spoke up, "Father should've been back hours ago with his new little secret weapon."

"Be patient, would you, Karai?" Jake told her with an eye roll. "Father will be here soon."

"I've heard rumors that it's a new mutant," FishFace said. "Part woman, part tuna, all lover."

"I hope not," Baxter Stockman said. "I'm allergic to fish. Nothing personal, Xever."

Tyson rolled his eyes at him. "Dude, you're, like, allergic to anything."

"It better not be other mutant," Cameron muttered under his breath. "There's enough of those freaks here."

"All I know is that he's a deadly assassin," Razhar added. "The kraang turned him into a mutant when he was a kid decades ago."

"As long as he's not as useless like you, then I don't care what he is." Soren spat bitterly at him, earning a glare from the mutant dog.

"I'd say," Isabella said with a scoff. "How many times did you fail already?"

Razhar glared at her next. "I wouldn't be talking, Sparks."

"Don't make me electrocute you, dog-breath." Isabella threatened with a warning glare.

"All of you, shut up already," Jake said with an eye roll. "You're all useless."

"Is he always that grumpy?" Noelle whispered to Cameron, who nodded at her.

Then, the doors to the throne opened and walking in a straight line on both sides were some Foot Bots before the robots paused, faced the other line, and lowered their heads. Then, Shredder walked into the room and as he walked, everyone lowered their heads for him.

"Father." Both Jake and Karai greeted in unison, lowering their heads.

"Master Shredder," Razhar greeted, lowering his head as well.

Shredder turned towards him with narrowed eyes. "You look terrible, Bradford." Without another word, he walked up to his throne and sat down in it. "I have returned, and I bring with me the most feared assassin in all of Asia."

Heads turned towards the entrance to see a mutant now stepping into the room. It was a mutant humanoid tiger with short orange and white fur striped with black, pink, and black skin, yellow eyes, and a huge, muscular body. He has four fingers and three toes on each hand and foot, as well as black claws white whiskers on his nose—the one thing he didn't have was a tail.

Cameron ignored the urge to roll his eyes at the new mutant. 'Great, another freak. What's next, a pig and a rhino?' He thought secretly to himself.

"TigerClaw." Shredder finished.

"This is your secret weapon, father," Karai questioned. "Another freak?"

TigerClaw stood up after kneeling to Shredder, narrowing his eyes at Karai. "This is the Foot Clan you promised me?" He questioned, clearly unimpressed. "I must say, Master Shredder, I am disappointed."

Karai glared at him and reached for her tanto, taking it out while at the same time, TigerClaw took out his gun and aimed it at her, growling.

"I honored you, great TigerClaw," FishFace greeted, stepping up the two. "Can I offer you some refreshments?"

TigerClaw gave one last growl to Karai before putting his gun away. "Milk, skim."

As FishFace began to leave and as he walked past by Isabella, who mumbled to him. "Stuck-up." FishFace only glared at her.

Cameron stared at the mutant tiger before noticing that there was no tail. "Sensitive topic maybe, but shouldn't tigers have tails?" He questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Cameron," Soren warned.

Cameron shrugged halfhearted. "What? It's an honest question."

"Don't mock me, child. It was a rival who sliced off my tail," TigerClaw said as he took the milk from FishFace. "One day, I will find it and he will pay the price!" He then started licking his milk.

"If you can't keep your own tail—" Karai started to said.

"Silence, Karai," Shredder interrupted. "You will treat TigerClaw with utmost respect. He is mine and Jake's new advisor."

At those words, Soren couldn't help but clench his fists in contempt as he gritted his teeth, shooting the mutant tiger a glare. Right next to him, he swore that he could hear Isabella's snickers just by the smirk on her face.

"Someone just got replaced by a overgrown cat with a scarf." Karai said to him, a sly smirk on her face.

"Zip it, Karai." Soren muttered underneath his breath.

But before he could said something to Shredder, the man spoke up. "TigerClaw, take my daughter, Cameron, Tyson, and Noelle with you to capture Splinter, the turtles, Henry Hart, and Princess Briana. Karai, Cameron, Tyson, Noelle—do not disobey him."

'Great, just great! Now I'm stuck taking orders from some stupid, overgrown cat freak.' Cameron thought secretly to himself.

AFTER BEING TOLD about Karai, Splinter had let them leave the dojo to take in the information. However, as soon as April and Kaz arrived with Casey, Zane, Mara, and Calista, they were all gathered in the lab to see what new kraang device that they'd found.

"And then you press this button..." April pressed the button on the device, and it opened into a portal. "And portable portal."

"Wow," Donatello said. "The kraang are always one step ahead. I wonder if this is what's behind the earthquakes. We're gonna have to test it."

"I don't know, Donnie," Leonardo stated. "You think that's a good idea?"

Casey shoved past Donatello. "If you guys are gonna be slow about it, I'm going."

Raphael walked up to him. "You're crazy! Nuts! Out of your mind!" He shoved Casey back. "I'm going first." With that, he jumped into the portal.

"Raph!" Henry called after him.

"Come on, red!" Casey said, grabbing April's wrist. The orange-haired girl in turn quickly grabbed Zane's wrist, and Zane yelped, as both him and April were dragged into the portal by Casey.

Kaz sighed, shaking his head. "Casey!" Then, he ran into the portal as well.

"April, wait for me!" Donatello yelled, following.

"Well, cheers to another adventure." Mara said, before running into the portal.

"Mara!" Briana shouted, running into the portal after her best friend.

Calista sighed before she too ran into the portal after her girlfriend.

"Can't let them go alone, dudes, dudette." Michelangelo said, diving into the portal.

"Mikey!"

"Here goes nothing, I guess." Eclipse said, before jumping into the portal.

Henry and Leonardo shared a glance before running into the portal as well. Upon entering, there was a ton of strange doorways everywhere. The portals opened to various locations or universes, and the area around them made it look like they were walking on air as they were surrounded by storm clouds.

"Okay, this is weird." Raphael said.

"Wow! It's like the Grand Central Station of dimensional travel!" Donatello exclaimed. "The kraang must use it as a gateway between universes."

The door they used to get there closed.

"Guys, the door's gone!" Michelangelo called. "We're trapped!"

"There's thousands of doors," Leonardo responded. "Everyone, start searching for a way home."

They all started looking through portals to try to find their way back home. Briana glanced through a portal, seeing some kind of world where the sky was red and there was fire with what looked like everywhere. She even saw some beings that had sharp teeth, nails, and wings on their backs.

"Get away from that portal right now." Unagami told her seriously from inside her head, yet Briana could've swore that there was a tiny hint of worry in her tone.

"Wha—why...?" She mumbled under her breath.

"Just do it! Last thing you want is them finding out who you are to them because of me being inside of you!" Unagami explained it from inside her head.

But despite the demon's warning, Briana found herself staring into the portal, but she couldn't tear her eyes away from it. Then, she watched as what looked like to be a demon-like creature with purple skin and hair, evil red eyes, a dark pink dress with a black belt tied around her waist, and black boots land on the ground as the black wings on her back stopped flapping. The creature even had a crown on her head with a red ruby in the middle of it.

The demon-like creature then turned around, eyes landing on the portal as the creature stared directly at her. The creature stared at her for a while before smirking at her, as if the creature could sensed something familiar from her.

And suddenly, as if she had no control over herself while her sapphire blue eyes flashed evil red for a second, Briana found herself pressing a button and the portal closed. Once it was closed, her eyes returned back to its ordinary color.

"Idiot!" Unagami yelled from inside her head. "You're lucky I took over before she realized who you were!"

Briana didn't said anything as she shook her head lightly, choosing to push it aside for now as she went back to searching for the portal that would bring them back home.

Calista was looking around and glanced through one portal. There, she saw what appeared to be an older version of Mara Sparks, and she watched as the older version of Mara Sparks turned towards something, smiling as it looked like she was talking to someone. She smirked a little, waiting to see her own older self appear but the smirk faded while her eyes widened a little to see a older version of April O'Neil herself walk up to the older Mara Sparks, and Calista felt her jaw dropped open a little when she spotted the two older versions leaning in and sharing a kiss.

Tearing her gaze away from the portal, Calista took a deep breath to calm down but her eyes landed on April, she couldn't help but clench her fists in contempt, a frown growing on her face.

"Whoa! Look at this, April." Donatello calls out.

April walked over to where he stood and glanced inside the portal. "Whoa, it's so beautiful." She said in awe.

"Well, check this out, red." Casey said.

April and the others joined Casey to see what he'd found. Inside the portal were incarnations of everyone from a different dimension, having looked like they were from some eighties cartoon as they all stared at it with raised eyebrows.

"It's us!" Michelangelo said. "Why do we look like dorks?"

"Is that supposed to be April?" Raphael asked, looking at the eighties April in the portal.

"Nice jumpsuit." Donatello said dreamily.

"Guys, look!" Leonardo called, getting them to gather around the portal she was at. "I think it's... Dimension X."

"Home of the kranng." Raphael told Casey, after noticing his confused expression.

"This place is making my brain melt!" Michelangelo exclaimed.

April covered his mouth. "Shh! I—I sense something coming."

A platform lowered down, containing a couple of biotroids. They spotted the teens and advanced on the portal.

"Oh, no. How do you close the door?" Raphael demanded, circling the portal. "Where's the—where's the knob? Where's the knob?"

"They're onto us!" Eclipse said.

Leonardo drew his katanas. "Get ready, team."

A pair of floating Kraang came through the portal first, and the teens jumped to avoid the laser blasts. They scattered as the kraang doubled back, shooting at them. Then, the biotroids came next, and Michelangelo started swinging his nunchucks at one of the biotroids before getting kicked away.

Briana knocked one of the biotroids down and stabbed her katana through its head, leaving the kraang to scuttle off. Then, a second biotroid charged and knocked Briana, Leonardo, Raphael, Henry, Eclipse, Michelangelo, Kaz, and Casey through one of the portals. The next thing that happened was that they all fell into a dumpster.

Michelangelo sighed, getting up with a lampshade on his head. "Guys, what dimension are we in?"

Raphael slapped the lampshade off his head, as they all climbed out of the dumpster.

As Leonardo jumped out, he glanced up to where the portal had vanished. "The others are trapped over there."

"Yeah, and the smart one of the team is trapped with them," Raphael said before looking over at the blue masked mutant turtle. "This is all your fault, Leo! If you hadn't gotten us—" another tremor shook the ground beneath them, cutting him off.

"We gotta find out what's causing these quakes." Eclipse said.

"The kraang probably have an advanced tech that's causing it, but the question is where," Briana said.

Suddenly, Henry felt his body tensed when his ears prickled at a soft sound from above. He looked over and took a few steps further into the alleyway, his ears pricking at every sound.

"Uh, Henry?" Casey asked.

"Nobody say a word," Henry said. "Somebody's trying to ambush us."

Then, TigerClaw had jumped down in front of them. "Who the heck is that?" Raphael asked.

"You may call me... TigerClaw." He told them.

"I knew it!" Michelangelo shouted. "I was totally gonna call him TigerClaw!"

TigerClaw drew a gun and aimed it at the teens. "I ask only once. Summon your rat master."

"Sorry, pal! But I'm not a cat person." Raphael retorted.

Right when the mutant tiger started firing his gun at them, the teens dodged. One of the blasts managed to hit Raphael, who fell back with a grunt.

"Raph!" Leonardo charged at TigerClaw, who knocked him into Raphael.

TigerClaw shot at them with his revolvers, as they dodged the blasts. Kaz summoned his fire powers and threw a ball of fire at the mutant tiger, who dodged and leapt back. Then, Casey used his hockey stick to send a few hockey pucks his way, which hit the mutant tiger in the face and stomach.

TigerClaw growled as he snarled, "You are nothing but cubs."

Michelangelo laughed nervously. "N—nice, kitty... uh, let me see if I have some catnip on me." TigerClaw shot at them again, and they scattered to avoid the blasts. Michelangelo started up a fire escape. "Come on, guys! We got to get to high ground!"

The others followed his lead, climbing up the fire escape while TigerClaw blasted off on a jetpack, chasing after them.

DONATELLO, MARA, APRIL, Zane, and Calista ran from the droid chasing them.

"Out of my way, Donnie," Mara said as she snatched his bo staff while the droid jumped in front of them and cut them off. "I got this." She used the staff to smack the droid, watching as the droid tripped and landed halfway through the portal.

Donatello, Zane, April, and Calista shoved the droid through the rest of the way.

"That was too close," April said as Mara handed Donatello his staff back.

"Alright, gappy," Mara said. "You're the expert. How the heck do we get out of here?"

"Gappy?" Donatello retorted. "Look in the mirror lately, Sparky?"

"Uh, guys?" Zane questioned. "Could you, I don't know, stop fighting for a moment?"

April waved them over to a portal. "Check this out."

They joined her, looking through the portal. "Wow, it looks like another part of Dimension X." Donatello said.

They noticed a few droids pushing some kind of giant worm through a portal, shocking it with tasers to force it through.

"Uh, what is that?" Zane questioned.

The droids looked over and spotted them. "Kraang is aware of spies in that doorway where kraang is not but will soon be."

"I think we're in serious trouble." April stated.

"No duh," Calista mumbled sarcastically under her breath, rolling her eyes at the girl.

They found themselves surrounded by droids, their guns aimed.

Mara couldn't help but groan in annoyance. "Great, just great..."

"Now what?" Zane asked.

"Surrender is optimum," a droid said. "Non-surrender means disintegration, which is less optimum."

"For now, play along." Donatello whispered, holding his hands up in surrender. The others followed his example.

"For the record, I don't count this as a surrender." Mara stated, as Zane elbowed her sharply. "Ow."

BOTH LEONARDO AND Henry glared at the mutant turtle, trying to figure out what to do next. In just a few minutes, TigerClaw had overpowered them: Raphael had gotten tied with a rope while Eclipse, Briana, Casey, and Kaz were knocked back. TigerClaw had even knocked Michelangelo into the shattered remains of a chimney, which he'd then proceed to dangle him over.

"You are defeated. Summon your master, or the little one goes into the furnace." TigerClaw snarled.

"Don't do it, guys!" Michelangelo called.

"It's a trap for Splinter!"

"Of course it's a trap!" Leonardo snapped, tightening his grip on his sword as he glared at the mutant tiger.

Henry gritted his teeth, glaring at the mutant tiger while the wolf inside of him growled and snarled, wanting nothing more than to tear TigerClaw apart. "Tell us the part where we have a choice." Leonardo added.

But of course, there was no other choice and with no other option, Leonardo had to call Splinter, who assured him that he would be there soon. In order to make sure that they wouldn't be able to escape, TigerClaw had tied them up while awaiting Splinter's arrival.

"I can't believe you called him," Raphael snapped. "If anything happens to Splinter—"

"What else could we do, Raph?" Leonardo retorted.

"He had Mikey, Raph," Henry reminded. "We didn't have a choice."

"The rat!" TigerClaw ordered. "Where is he!?" Nobody said anything, refusing to answer. "One push, and you all go into the furnace."

"Just wait, TigerClaw. Splinter's gonna kick that little stub of a tail so deep in your striped—"

"Silence!" TigerClaw snapped, interrupting Raphael. "I am tired of waiting. Your lives end now." He started pushing them toward the furnace.

Michelangelo whimpered. "This is it! I love you guys. Raph, it was me who ate your last piece of chocolate pepperoni pizza. I'm sorry, man! I was so hungry."

"Release them!" A familiar voice shouted, and everyone looked up to see Splinter. "Now!"

Both Splinter and TigerClaw shared a quick conversation in Japanese, and then started fighting. TigerClaw shot at Splinter, who dodged the blasts. Splinter jumped down toward TigerClaw, who moved away with his jetpack. Splinter wove through the blasts and used his cane to launch pieces of bricks at TigerClaw.

It knocked the tiger off-balance for a split second, making him drop the ice gun over the edge of the roof. He pulled out a sword in exchange. "I prefer to slice you into bite-sized pieces."

THE DROIDS LED the five teens through a portal and brought them out into a subway.

"You will continue marching from the place you are to the place you are not yet," a droid said.

Calista rolled her eyes at the robot. "Can't they speak proper English?"

"At least we're back in New York." Donatello said.

"Didn't they mention feeding us something?" Mara asked. "I'm hungry."

Zane shook his head. "They said they'd feed us to something, Mara. Something called a—what was it?"

"Kraathatrogon..." Donatello finished for him. "Which is—actually, I have no clue what it is."

"You know, we could wait around and get eaten or... we can do something about it!" Mara whirled around and knocked the gun out of the robot's hands.

April threw her tessen, knocking one of the droids over as Donatello threw his shurikens at a valve, making it spew out steam. "Let's go!" He said.

They took off running as the droids shot after them, making it through a door. Mara slammed it shut once they were inside, and used a pipe to keep it shut. Then, they started making their way down the large tunnel.

"Wow! The old pneumatic subway!" Donatello said. "Built in the 1800s—nobody uses 'em now."

"What's that gross, slobbering sound?" Zane asks.

"It sounds worse than Mikey eating pizza." Donatello responded.

"I doubt that." Calista muttered under her breath, having seen how the orange-masked mutant turtle eats.

The group started running, heading for the source of the nose, and spotted four huge worm-like creatures ahead. They looked like what the kraang in Dimension X had been pushing through the portal. They were hooked up to some large machine as Kraang droids walked around them.

"Those must be the Kraathatrogons." Donatello said.

"The Kraathatogo—togo—the tro—" Mara tried to said it, before shaking her head. "Forget it, space worms is easier to pronounce."

They watched as one of the worms reared up and slammed into the ground, making the tunnel shake. The teens fell back as they lost their balance and debris fell from above them.

Donatello gasped. "It's the worms. That's what's causing the earthquakes!"

"Why bring them here though?" Zane asked.

"Look!" April pointed at one of the worms as the droids hooked up some kind of tube to it. "They're milking them... for mutagen?"

"By Darwin's beard!" Donatello exclaimed. "This is where the mutagen comes from! Fascinating and—"

"Disgusting." Calista cut in.

April blinked, looking over at Mara. "Stop that!"

Mara looks at her, confused. "Stop what?"

"I'm serious, Mara. I said stop!" Mara held up her hands and April stared at her. "Huh?" She looked behind her as she and Mara glanced down to see a small Kraathatrogon rubbing up against her like a cat.

Both April and Mara let out startled sounds, and Mara smacked it away, causing it to let out a screech.

"Kraang, we have been discovered in the place that was meant to be undiscovered," a droid said. "Unleash the Kraathatrogon!"

The droids released a huge Kraathatrogon, which reared up in front of the teens and roared.

"Uh, Donnie," Zane said nervously. "I don't think your staff is big enough for that thing."

BOTH TIGERCLAW AND Splinter continued their battle as the two were quite evenly matched. Splinter dodged all of TigerClaw's attacks, getting in several hits with his cane before TigerClaw sliced it.

"Now, you are defenseless." TigerClaw gloated.

"A ninja is never defenseless," Splinter responded. He tossed some kunai at the mutant and TigerClaw blocked them with his sword, but one of them hit his jetpack and broke it.

"You got him, sensei!"

"Slap the stripes off that cat!"

Splinter managed to disarm the TigerClaw of his sword, taking it himself. Then, he backed TigerClaw toward the edge of the roof. "And now we shall see if a cat always lands on its feet."

"Now!" TigerClaw shouted. A dart landed in Splinter's neck. The mutant rat took it out and gave it a curious look before stumbling back and collapsing. "Ha! You lose, rat."

Karai approached and Splinter looked up at her. "Miwa..." he reached out a trembling hand and then collapsed.

"Hey, Kazzy." Noelle greeted with a grin as she approached alongside Cameron and Tyson.

"Oh, kill me now." Kaz muttered at the familiar voice.

Casey rolled his eyes at the familiar voice. "Great. If it isn't the Psycho Ice Queen."

"Uh, who's that?" Eclipse asked.

"Kaz's ex," Casey said. "Long story."

"Karai, don't do this," Leonardo said. "Splinter—he's your father, your true father."

"Liar!" Karai snapped. "You'd say anything to save him."

"No, I swear it," Leonardo said. "He's your father—Hamato Yoshi."

Karai stalked over, a glare on her face as she reached for her sword. "If you won't be silent, I'll silence you." But then, TigerClaw blocked her blade. "What?"

TigerClaw pushed her back. "Master Shredder desires them alive. He wants the pleasures of finishing the turtles and the boy himself."

"Fine," Karai said as she sheathes her blade. "Let's deal with the rat first."

"Leave him alone, Karai!" Raphael snapped. "Or you're gonna answer to me!"

"My family, go. Now!" Splinter threw a shuriken, cutting the rope. "Run!"

TigerClaw kicked the mutant rat, sending him sprawling at the roof's edge.

"Splinter!" Both Leonardo and Henry shouted.

Raphael grabbed Leonardo's arm while Eclipse grabbed Henry's arm. "We got to go, guys. We'll come back for him." Eclipse told them.

With no choice left, the teens started fleeing as TigerClaw shot at them with his revolvers.

"No!" Cameron snapped. "Don't let them escape!"

TigerClaw pursued them, cornering them on a fire escape as he leapt across the alley. Michelangelo tossed down a smoke bomb, allowing them to escape.

DONATELLO, MARA, ZANE, April, and Calista were running through the subway as the huge Kraathatrogon chased them.

"Run! Faster!" Donatello yelled.

They all shouted as they tripped and fell into an opening in the floor, allowing the Kraathatrogon to pass right over on top of them. Once they got back up, they screamed upon noticing the worm directly before them, as they bolted while the Kraathatrogon chased after them again.

Donatello had looked ahead to see a ladder leading topside. He made a quick detour and jumped onto it. "Up here!" He said, holding out his staff. "April! Grab on!" April ran up and jumped, grabbing the staff and he pulled her up to the ladder. "Zane!" He held it out for Zane, who ran, jumped, and grabbed the staff as Donatello pulled him to the ladder. "Calista!" He held it out for her as she ran, jumped, and grabbed the staff (as though she didn't feel like getting eaten by the giant worm) as Donatello pulled her to the ladder. "Sparks! The staff!" He held out the staff to Mara, who jumped to grab it, but the Kraathatrogon jumped up as well. The worm then swallowed her whole and moved away down the tunnel.

"NO!"

"MARA!"

"She's gone..." April fell against Donatello's chest. "She's gone!"

He wrapped an arm around her. "I am so sorry, I truly am."

Calista, however, only stared at the spot where her girlfriend had been before the worm had swallowed her. She wanted to yell at him—to blame him for everything, but her throat was dry and she could barely open her mouth to speak.

'Screw your apologize, you stupid freak. It's all your fault.' Calista thought secretly to herself, clenching her fists.

THE TEENS HAD made it back to the lair, safety. Leonardo was sitting on the couch, tending to an injury on Michelangelo's arm while Raphael had an ice pack against his head.

"This is your fault, Leo!" Raphael snapped, throwing down the ice pack and storming over. "If you hadn't called Splinter, we wouldn't be in this mess."

"I didn't have a choice, Raph," Leonardo responded. "It was him or Mikey. I thought... I thought sensei would take care of him."

"Well, you thought wrong!"

"Okay, enough already," Henry cut in, stepping between the two. "Look, we know where they have him—Shredder's lair. We'll make a plan and gear up, and go rescue Master Splinter."

"We do this for Splinter," Michelangelo started, standing up on the back of the couch. "There comes a time, brothers and sisters, when history is forged like... melted cheese." The others traded a glance as he continued. "It sticks together as one! But is still soft and squishy in the middle. Mm." He paused, noticing the confused looks he was getting. "Are you with me?"

"Lamest speech ever," Eclipse stated bluntly, before flashing a grin. "But we're with you."

Leonardo stood up. "For Master Splinter."

They all shared a grin.

"Let's do this."

DONATELLO LIFTED A manhole cover and glanced around as he made sure that no one was around. "Okay, coast is clear." He climbed out, then helped April, Zane, and Calista behind him.

"This is so terrible," April said. "Poor Mara."

Calista bit the bottom half of her lip to keep herself from saying something—to yell at the girl and to remind her that she wasn't the one that was dating Mara—that April had no place to grieve right now. The only reason why she hadn't blurted it out was because of Donatello's and Zane's presence, and the last thing she needed was those two to gang up on her.

"I can't believe that happened. I..." Zane said before he trailed off, still in disbelief and shock.

Suddenly, the ground beneath them shook, making them fall onto the pavement. "We gotta find a way to stop those worms—and we know two men who know more about the kraang than anyone."

The four teens made their way to Kurtzman's apartment and knocked on his window. No one answered, and they traded looks, only to get blinded by a flashlight out of nowhere.

"Great Caesar's ghost." Kurtzman opened the window quickly, letting them inside. "Quick! Get in before you're spotted."

Once inside, Kurtzman shut the window, taking a brief glance outside. Daniel stood behind the desk, looking over some notes before he took a brief glance at the four teens. "This is about the earthquake situation, isn't it?" He asked.

"You're never gonna guess what's causing it." Zane said.

Daniel and Kurtzman shared a glance, before Daniel responded. "Oh, Jackson and I have a pretty good idea." He spread out some pictures of the Kraathatrogon for them to see. "We named the kraang's little scheme... the Manhattan Project."

SPLINTER GROANED, OPENING his eyes as TigerClaw threw water in his face. "Wake up, little rat."

FishFace walked over with Razhar. "Nice work, TigerClaw. You finally captured the great Splinter."

Soren rolled his eyes. "Too bad you couldn't capture Princess Briana."

TigerClaw growled at him, while Razhar spoke up. "So, is the poison going to finish him or what?"

"Most men would have expired by now, but it's only weakened him," TigerClaw responded. "He may be small, but he's tough as iron."

The door opened and Shredder walked into the throne room with Karai and Jake. "Bradford, Xever, Soren, Isabella, Cameron, Noelle, Tyson—leave us." As they left, Shredder stopped beside Splinter. "Hamato Yoshi, so you have come to this—a wretched rat man waiting to be put out of his misery."

"At least I do not wear a mask, hiding what little humanity I have left." Splinter responded.

"It is because of you that I wear this mask." Shredder retorted.

Splinter shook his head. "All these years you continue to deceive yourself, and everyone around you."

Shredder's blade slid out. "You dare." He lifted his arm to strike. "Now it ends!"

"No, father!" Karai suddenly shouted, stopping Shredder just before his blade hit Splinter while Jake raised an eyebrow at her.

"You would stop me?"

"You'd kill your greatest enemy while he's poisoned and chained? What about honor? Everything you've taught us?" Karai questioned while Jake only shrugged, not seeming bothered by her words.

"The girl is right, Master Shredder." TigerClaw agreed.

Shredder then sheathed his blades. "Very well. Gather the Foot. I will offer Hamato Yoshi one last fight." He left the room with TigerClaw following. Jake glanced down at the mutant rat, recalling flashes of his childhood with his former family before following his adoptive father.

"Why... did you help me?" Splinter asked Karai as she walked past him.

"I don't know. Maybe because you look so pathetic."

Splinter sighed. "You have your mother's spirit—so fierce, and yet so scared."

"Never speak of my mother again!" Karai snapped. "You ruined my family. You ruined all of our lives." She then turned and walked away.

"No, it was... Oroku Saki. Oroku... Saki."

"SO, THESE WORMS are only children?" Donatello asked. "How big are the adults?"

"Huge!" Kurtzman responded. "Some of them are hundreds of feet long. The kraang have been importing the worms from Dimension X to suck out their mutagen. It's kind of like milking a giant cow."

"That's... a weird way to put it." Zane said.

"No kidding." Calista added.

"Okay, okay, we get it. Thanks," April said. "So, how do we stop them?"

"No clue how to stop them," Daniel responded. "But we know the kraang ride these puppies." He pointed to the drawing of the Kraathatrogon, using a nearby salt shaker as a visual and spilling some salt onto the drawing. "You see these antennas on its head? They pull 'em like the reins on a horse."

"Gross!"

Donatello stared at the drawing, studying the salt covering it. "Oh, why didn't I think of that? Salt!"

"Salt?" Zane questioned. "What do you—" he was cut off by a phone ringing.

April pulled out her T-phone from her pocket. "It—it's Mara!" She picked up, grinning—not noticing how Calista narrowed her eyes at her slightly. "Mara!"

"Uh, hey, Carrot Top. Uh, so, I'm kind of, uh, trapped inside this giant worm thing. I mean, it's cool—I'm alive and stuff."

"You're inside the worm!?" April exclaimed. "You get a signal in there?"

"Is that really the important question to ask here?" Calista muttered under her breath.

"Yeah, it's, uh, trying to digest me, I—I think. Could use, uh, a little help. Aghh!"

"Hold on, Mara!" April pulled the phone away from her ear, covering the microphone with her hand and grinning at the others. "She's alive!"

Then, once they had the information about the Manhattan Project that they needed, April, Zane, and Calista were heading out of the apartment through the fire escape. Donatello was about to go, when Daniel stopped up as he spoke up, "Uh, Donatello, was it? Before you go, there's something else you should know."

Donatello looked confused as he turned to face him. "Um, okay. What is it?"

"It's not about this, it's about Henry," Daniel told him. "Look, I know he's avoiding his mother, me—everything, really, and I don't blame him, but it's really important that I talk to him."

Donatello couldn't help but frown a little, feeling a bit nervous as he hoped that this wasn't going where he thought it was. The last thing he wanted to do was to make Henry feel like he was forcing him to talk to Daniel, whenever he even wanted to or not.

"I know you and your brothers and your sisters care about my son, he's family to you guys," Daniel continued. "I care about him too, and all I want to do is help. But if he keeps avoiding me, then Henry won't be able to protect not just himself, but everyone he cares about from him."

Donatello remained silent for a while, before he sighed. "Mr. Hale, with all due respect, I think that Henry just—" he pauses when he realizes what Daniel said. "Wait, you said him. Who is 'him?'"

With nothing but concern and worry in his eyes, Daniel spoke up.

"My younger brother, David Hale."

THE BLUE MASKED mutant turtle had quickly scaled the side of Shredder's lair and perched atop the turret, the two Foot Bots standing guard were completely unaware of his presence. He snapped open his crossbow and fired at the guard furtherest away. The quarrel sliced through the bot's neck, and the severed head rolled across the rooftop to the feet of the other bot. The second bot turned in alarm to look at Leonardo but with the bot now distracted, Boy Danger leapt behind the bot and sliced its head off with one of his twin swords. Leonardo jumped and landed next to him, as Boy Danger sheathed his sword.

The two nodded at each other before climbing into the throne room through a hole in the window. Inside, they spotted Splinter laying on the ground with his wrists chained behind his back. Boy Danger closed his eyes for a second, trying to see if he could hear anything and when he didn't, he opened his eyes and shook his head at Leonardo. Then, the two quickly made their way over to the mutant rat.

"Sensei. Sensei!"

Splinter opened his eyes to look up at them. "Leonardo, Henry, go... now!"

Out of nowhere, Boy Danger felt his nose prickled as multiple scents hits his nose as fires suddenly sprang to life around the room, bathing it in an eerie orange light. Shredder stepped into view, and immediately, both teens went to grab their weapons, only for someone to grab their wrists. The two twisted around to see TigerClaw, Razhar, FishFace, Baxter, Cameron, Noelle, Tyson, Isabella, and Soren—TigerClaw was the one that had grabbed Leonardo's wrist while Razhar had grabbed Boy Danger's wrist.

"Hello, again, my friend."

Then, the two unsheathed their swords, swinging at the two mutants that had their wrists, but both TigerClaw and Razhar twisted their wrists and flipped them onto the ground, forcing them to release the blades. Both Leonardo and Boy Danger struggled against the hold on their wrists, as they were yanked to their feet, hands behind their backs.

"Let us go!"

Karai held a blade to the mutant turtle's throat. "I knew you two would come to us, Leo."

Shredder stalked forward with Jake at his side. "Where are the turtles and Princess Briana?"

Neither one of the two said anything, as TigerClaw sniffed the air. "It's just them, Master Shredder. They're alone, I sense no one else."

Shredder then turned to the mutant rat and his blades to cut the chains. "Watch, turtle, boy," he said directed at the two teens. "For it will be the last fight you two witness of your sensei. The destruction of your master, Hamato Yoshi."

"You can do it, sensei!" A moment later, Shredder kicked Splinter off his feet. "SENSEI!"

As both Leonardo and Boy Danger struggled against TigerClaw's grip and Razhar's grip, Boy Danger felt his nose prickled at a scent. The only difference is that this scent... it was completely different one—one that he didn't recognize from his friends or family. Then, his eyes landed on Tyson as he snuck a glance around to find where the scent was coming from, to find Tyson staring back at him.

'I'm definitely catching that scent from him. So, I guess Soren was right about the type of species he was—one of those supposedly extinct shapeshifters-wolf mutants.' Tyson thought secretly to himself.

"Fight me!" Shredder snapped as Splinter slowly pushed himself back to his feet, but Shredder only kicked him down again. He picked Splinter up by his robes. "Pathetic. I will put you out of your misery." He drew back one fist, blades extending.

Boy Danger could hear the wolf inside of him growling and snarling its teeth at Shredder. Then, firecrackers started going off across the room, startling everyone as the room filled with smoke. It caught Shredder off-guard as he stumbled back, standing on top of the glass. Splinter took notice and decided to use it to his advantage, hitting the glass as Shredder fell through.

Both Boy Danger and Leonardo broke free from TigerClaw's and Razhar's grips, bolting towards the mutant rat, slinging one of his arms around each of their shoulders.

"Oh, yeah! Rescue time!" Michelangelo's cheer reaches Boy Danger's ears as they prickled.

Raphael, Eclipse, Michelangelo, Captain Violet, Kaz, and Casey were running towards the others while dodging Shredder's lackeys.

"Come on, Master Splinter!"

"Get them!" TigerClaw ordered.

Michelangelo threw a smoke bomb, as the purple smoke from it gave them their escape. They were all making their way across the rooftops as quickly as they could while helping Splinter at the same time.

DONATELLO LED THE way as he, April, Zane, and Calista ran through the subway—though he stopped when he heard something nearby. "This is it. This is the tunnel!" He said, taking out his bo staff.

"Great. Now what?" April asked.

Donatello started hitting the tracks with his staff. "I'm creating a vibration that'll attract the worm."

Calista raised an eyebrow, unconvinced that it'd work. "You really think that a stick is gonna attract some—"

"You were saying, Cali?" Zane cut her off, pointing to the Kraathatrogon that was coming right for them.

"The satchel!" Donatello shouted.

April opened the satchel and raised an eyebrow. "Salt?"

"Salt's ionic strength can burn through a worm's neurosectory's cells." Donatello explained.

Zane blinked. "So, it's like acid."

"Yeah."

"Yeah, but... salt?" April asked.

"Don't knock it till you try it." Donatello said as he picked up a container, threw it into the air, and used his staff to hit it, sending it to the worm and hitting it in the face.

Zane threw some until he glanced into the satchel. "Uh, Donnie? We're out!"

"No, wait!" Donatello removed a small salt shaker and threw it at the ground, causing it to shatter.

April quickly pulled out her tessen and fanned the salt to the Kraathatrogon. It slowed down and slowly slid to a halt in front of them. Then came the gross part as it spat up everything in its stomach, soaking the four of them and knocking them back.

Zane made a disgusted face. "Ew... okay, this is just gross."

"Ya think?" Calista questioned.

"Anybody have any hand sanitizer?" Donatello asked, shaking off his hand.

"Mara!" April hugged the girl, who got spat out with the rest of the gunk while Donatello rolled his eyes, annoyed with the attention that she was giving Mara.

Calista whirled her head around to glare at the orange-haired girl as she watched Mara and April hug, her brain only going back to what she saw through that portal. Once the two girls pulled away from the hug, Calista didn't hesitate to pull her girlfriend closer to her possessively and push her lips against hers—though, the girl was really only trying to show April who Mara belonged with.

"Um, as much as I hate to break this up, but we still have big, huge, giant problems!" Zane yelled.

The others turned around, gasping upon seeing the giant Kraathatrogon that was more than twice of the size of the others, being dragged through the portal by the Kraang.

"Now, that's a big worm." Mara commented.

THE MUTANT RAT was resting against the wall as the others knelt by him. "I need to rest," he said. "Must get the poison out of my system."

Michelangelo pulled out a flask. "Just drink some water, sensei." He gave it to Splinter, who took it and drank the water inside.

"Must meditate." Splinter said, closing his eyes and getting himself into a meditative state.

"Let him rest," Leonardo advised. "We'll keep lookout for Shredder's goons."

Kaz was busy looking at something. "Uh... I don't think that'll be a problem."

At those words, Boy Danger felt his ears prickled up at the sound of a gun powering up. He turned around to see Karai with Cameron, Noelle, Tyson, TigerClaw, Razhar, FishFace, Soren, and Isabella.

"...found them." Captain Violet said.

"More like they found us." Casey said.

"Attack!" TigerClaw ordered.

Each one of the teens got ready, fending off the villains the best they can despite being outnumbered.

DONATELLO INCHED A little closer to the portal, the other five behind him as they watched the Kraang droids struggle with the giant Kraathatrogon.

"Okay, here's the plan," Donatello stated. "I'll reverse the polarity of the portal and keep that thing from getting in. You guys create a diversion."

"What kind of diversion?" Zane asked.

Mara smirked. "Leave that to Mara Sparks," she responded, earning a sigh from the purple masked mutant turtle. Mara then walked out of their hiding spot. "Hey!" She shouted, grabbing the alien robots' attention. "Alien freak-job!"

"It is humans known as humans." The droid started shooting at her and Mara took cover.

Calista raised an eyebrow at her. "So, now what?"

"I hope you have a plan other than getting shot at, Sparks." April told her seriously while Donatello made his way over to the portal.

"IT'S BEEN A while, huh, Kazzy," Noelle said flirtatious, giggling softly as she smirked, suddenly leaning in closer to him as if she was gonna kiss him.

"Wished it was longer." Kaz mumbled under his breath, taking a big step back as he didn't feel like being around her.

Noelle, however, thought he was joking as she chuckled, twirling a strand of her hair around her finger, taking one more step closer. "You're so funny, Kaz."

Casey rolled his eyes and using his hockey stick, he sent a puck flying her way, but Noelle used her powers to turn the puck to ice as it fell onto the roof, shattering. "Get it through your head, Frosty the Snowman," he told her, both irritated and annoyed by her. "He isn't interested in you."

"Stay out of this, Jones." Noelle said, a hint of anger in her tone towards him. She was never a fan of Casey, even back when she was with Kaz. It didn't help that to her, Casey was the reason why Kaz ended things. "You don't know him, I bet he still is."

"No, I'm not." Kaz said seriously. He went to help his friends but ended up in a fight against Cameron.

"Round two, city boy." Cameron said, glaring at him.

Kaz had to ignore the urge to roll his eyes at him, but blocked one of Cameron's throws before swiping his leg out and knocking him onto the ground.

Cameron, however, didn't give up and stood right back up and returned back to the fight while Casey took on Noelle. Cameron threw his fist at him, but Kaz caught it, lifted his leg, and kicked him in the stomach. Cameron stumbled back a little before he glared and charged at him again, this time going to kick at him but Kaz blocked his leg in time. Kaz looked behind Cameron for a second and gave a small nod. Then, as Kaz jumped to the side, he punched Cameron in the side and before Cameron could react, Raphael came in and delivered a roundhouse kick, sending Cameron back a few feet away.

At the same time, Noelle stumbled back a bit after Casey had used his hidden taser to tase her a bit before he stood by Kaz and Raphael. Then, Casey, Kaz, and Raphael shared a quick fist bump before both Cameron and Noelle charged at them.

Boy Danger was facing off against FishFace, Michelangelo was facing off against Razhar, Eclipse was facing off against Soren, and Captain Violet was facing off against Isabella.

The mutant tiger lifted his paw and went to strike at Leonardo, who went to shield himself. But then, Splinter slid in between them, grabbing TigerClaw's wrist. The mutant tiger gave a confused mrrow as Splinter flipped him around and slammed him to the ground. Then, Splinter went to the other fights and in each respective fight, he knocked back the other villains as he kicked them away.

"Now it is time to end this." Splinter stated.

"Sensei!"

"Are you ready, my family?"

The only response received were battle cries, as they charged at the villains.

DONATELLO KEPT ONE eye on the fight as he moved closer to the portal. Mara, who had stolen one of the kraang's gun after knocking it out of the droid's hands, was shooting at the alien robots.

"Take that, alien scum!" Mara shouted, shooting at the droids. "This is so cool! Woo!"

Calista frowned at those words, not understanding how her girlfriend could be so chill about the whole thing and find it cool after the fact that she had been eaten by a giant worm. "No," she muttered under her breath. "It's really not."

Mara continued to shoot at the droids while April ran after the droids with her tessen. Zane did his best to help take out the droids and although Calista was too, she was begrudgingly helping out by going after the alien robots.

"LOOK OUT!" Zane and April dove aside as the worm tried to squish them.

April stared at the worm for a second. "I've got an idea. Something that Kurtzman said."

Mara kept shooting at the droids and was about to shoot one, until the giant Kraathatrogon slammed into it, April and Zane riding it as Mara lowered the gun.

April grinned down at her, holding out her hand. "Come on, guys!" Mara took her hand, letting April pull her onto the giant worm while Calista did the same with Zane. "Hiyah! Move it, girl!" April steered the worm around, smashing through the droids. "Go, worm, go!"

"Don't worry about us, gappy! We'll distract the kraang!" Mara shouted to Donatello, who was staring at them in disbelief.

"Do your thing, Donnie!" Zane added.

"And hurry it up too." Calista muttered under her breath, wanting to get this whole thing over with it.

Donatello stared at them, watching as they ride the Kraathatrogon. "I don't believe it."

"To the surface, wormie!" April shouted, leading the worm into the tunnels.

"YOU ARE MINE now, Yoshi-san," TigerClaw stated, pinning Splinter to the roof.

Leonardo ran at him, kicking him off the roof and onto the fire escape below. He knelt by him before noticing Karai hidden in the shadows.

Splinter placed a hand on his shoulder. "Not too shabby."

A roar sounded behind them and all fights halted as everyone turned just in time to see a giant worm burst through the ground; April, Zane, Mara, and Calista on its back.

"Woohoo!" April cheered.

"Yes!" Mara and Zane shouted.

Everyone else just stared, their jaws slightly open. "Is that... April, Mara, Zane, and Calista... riding on a giant worm?" Eclipse asked.

Captain Violet blinked. "We clearly missed something."

TigerClaw jumped back up onto the roof, and Leonardo jumped back to avoid getting hit with his sword. Splinter hit him several times, knocking the mutant tiger back. But then, TigerClaw flew up into the air with his jetpack but Boy Danger reached into his belt and took out a shuriken, throwing it at the mutant tiger. The shuriken hit his jetpack, causing TigerClaw to lose control and fly directly into the worm's mouth.

STILL WORKING ON the portal, Donatello muttered. "I gotta reverse the polarity," he fiddled with the wires and buttons. The worm let out a roar, spraying him with spit. "Work!" He growled. "Why won't you work?" A moment later, he connected a couple of wires, and the giant Kraathatrogon got sucked back into the portal. "Ha! I did it! I rule!"

He quickly tied himself off since the portal was sucking everything back inside. He heard screaming as Mara, Zane, April, and Calista were sucked back into the room with the worm. He pulled out his staff and held it out for them in front of the portal. Mara managed to grab on as did Zane and Calista, but April missed and grabbed Mara's foot instead. Donatello reached back and pulled out some wires, shutting down the portal before tossing his friends forward to land safety on the ground as the portal disappeared. Mara, Zane, April, and Calista pushed themselves up as Donatello landed beside them.

"You did it, Donnie! You saved the city!" April exclaimed, hugging him.

"Not bad, Donnie," Zane said with a smile. "Not bad at all."

Mara chuckled. "I'm gonna take back everything I said about you, gappy. You rule." She fist-bumped him while nobody noticed Calista was slightly frowning at Mara's action.

"SO, THE EARTHQUAKES were caused by giant worms that lived under the sewers?" Raphael summed up once they had all met up on a rooftop. "That sounds worse than giant cockroaches!"

"Well, I'm stoked you guys are back," Michelangelo said. "Come here!" He ran to the five of them and hugged them, making them (but Calista) laugh.

"We're glad to be back, trust me." Donatello said, as they all pulled away from the hug.

Leonardo and Boy Danger looked over at where Splinter stood, and went over to him as Splinter was staring down at the giant hole that the worm had made. "You did it, sensei."

"With the help of my family, yes, we all did." Splinter responded.

"So, what about Karai?" Eclipse asked as she and the others joined.

"I still can't believe that witch is your daughter," April said. "Um, sorry to be so honest."

"Perhaps one day, she will believe the truth." Splinter said. "But that is her decision."

"Yeah!" Michelangelo cheered. "Time for some Antonio's! So, where do you think that kraang worm went, anyway?"

"I'm sure it'll be fine... maybe." Zane responded.

As they all began to make their way to head to the lair, Donatello stopped by Boy Danger. "I gotta tell you something."

"What is it?" Boy Danger asked.

A sheepish expression came onto his face as Donatello rubbed the back of his neck.

"It's, uh... it's something that Daniel told me."

DANIEL WAITED ON the rooftop where he was told to meet, having been surprised when he saw the message on his phone as he didn't think that his son would want to meet up with him, given his reaction upon meeting him for the first time in person. Just as he looked to the left, he watched as Henry landed on the rooftop, taking a few steps forward towards him.

"Donnie told me what you told him," Henry said, crossing his arms over his chest. "Your brother, he's like you?"

Daniel nodded. "He's like both of us," he replied, noticing how Henry tensed a little at his words. "The only difference is that he's stronger than most, and that's because he's the alpha."

Henry raised an eyebrow. "I thought he was the younger brother. Aren't you supposed to be the alpha?"

"I was at first, for a while," Daniel answered. "But when your mother told me about you, I gave my title as alpha to my brother so he and the rest of the pack could go into hiding somewhere else."

"And why did they have to go into hiding in the first place?" Henry questioned.

"Hunters," Daniel spoke up. "I still don't know who they are and I haven't seen them, but back then, we found out that there was a family of hunters looking for our kind. But I couldn't leave, knowing that you were like me because I knew that one day, you were gonna need all the help that you can get, so I made my brother the alpha and while he left with the pack, I stayed behind."

"So, it's technically your fault that your brother's after me."

Daniel blinked, a small part of him was a bit taken aback from his son's bitter tone, but he did assumed that his son wasn't going to make it easy for him—not that he could blame him either, considering how fast Henry's life was turned upside down.

"Yeah, I guess you have a point there when you put it that way," Daniel said in agreement. "But I want to make up for it—I want to help you."

Daniel took a few steps forward but stopped when Henry stepped back, as the teenaged boy still didn't want anything to do with him.

"I think the others and I can handle your brother without you," Henry said honestly. "We've faced worse before."

Daniel shook his head. "Trust me, kid, my brother isn't like the people you guys have faced before. Unless you learn how to control your wolf side, then none of you will stand a chance."

"And what if I don't want to?" Henry retorted with a frown on his face. "I never asked for this, you know? I didn't ask to have a wolf inside of me."

Daniel stared at him for a while before offering a small smile. "I know, kid, but... sometimes these things have a way of working out for the best. It might not seem like it right now, but... it might just be exactly what you need."

When Henry didn't said anything expect turn his head to the side as he didn't want to look at him, Daniel spoke up again. "I'm not your enemy, kid. I know you don't want to hear it right now, but I'm your father and all I wanna do is help you."

Henry still didn't said anything, letting his words sink in. He bit the bottom half of his lip and closed his eyes, debating on whenever or not if he should let Daniel help.

"It's, uh... it's something that Daniel told me." Donatello said, rubbing the back of his neck nervously with a sheepish look on his face.

Boy Danger blinked, now looking confused. "What did he said?"

"He says that he wants to help," Donatello explained briefly. "And that... his younger brother was after you."

"What?" Boy Danger questioned. "Why would his brother want with me?"

"I don't know, he didn't go into it that much," Donatello said. "All he really told me was that he just wants to help and to talk to you."

Boy Danger couldn't help but frown lightly at those words. Why wouldn't Daniel leave him alone? Could he really not tell that he wanted nothing to do with him?

"The only thing I told him was that I'll let you know, but the rest? I told him it was up to you." Donatello told him.

"I know, it's just..." Boy Danger said as he sighed. "I don't know if I trust him. Like, okay, yeah, he might be my—you know, but... he wasn't there. All I see is a stranger that has the same DNA as me."

Donatello gave him a small smile and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I know, that's why I told it was your decision. But if I'm being honest... when he told me about his brother, he did look worry about—for you. You don't have to call him dad or anything, but... maybe he does wanna help."

Boy Danger took those words in before he sighed one more time and nodded. "Yeah, I guess you're right," he said. "I'll go see him. Can you let the others know and I'll meet you guys at the lair after?"

Donatello nodded.

"I will."

"I can't believe I'm doing this," Henry muttered under his breath before he looked back up to look at Daniel. "You want to help?"

Daniel nodded. "That's all I'm trying to do. All I want to do is help you learn how to control your wolf and when we're done, if you still want nothing to do with me, I'll leave you alone for good."

Henry stood there, staring at him for a while. A part of him didn't want to do what he was thinking of and just leave him standing on the rooftop alone, but the other part of him—the part of him that wanted to feel a parental love that came from a parent of his and not just his father figure— was getting to the best of him.

And so, Henry caved in as he nodded. "Okay, fine, you can help me, but," he said firmly as he stared at Daniel. "If it's not working out or if you betray my family, that's it. We'll be done. Deal?"

Daniel nodded, a small smile coming onto his face.

"Deal."
